Simple but very tasty food. Many vegetarian dishes. Efficient service. I was not so much impressed by their coffee but it was ok by local standards. The cafe is located on a busy cobblestone road, so it can be quite noisy. 5 stars anyway. The food makes me want to come here again.

What a lovely little find. Food was amazing. Art work was great. Lovely staff. Defo worth visiting rather than the larger chains. Individual, artisan - pick up a little bit of at along the way too.

If you are looking for an authentic as possible Cypriot café in Paphos, look no further. Right next to the old town lies this charmingly delightful family owned and run business that is loved both by the locals and visitors. Having visited here twice it all makes sense to me now. Sykaminia Café has welcomed folks for decades and its folksy and amiable atmosphere makes you always want to stay for a lot longer than intended. The owner and the staff are simply lovely, and you probably won’t feel more welcome anywhere in town. That is a lot to say when you take into consideration that the neighborhood surrounding this restaurant in general is exceedingly friendly. The menu itself offers nice local and international choices for a proper breakfast or a heftier meal later. When I last visited, I had a Cyprus plate in the late afternoon full of local produce and it was utterly delicious completed with a crispy pint of beer. Even if it’s in the middle of the town the feeling entering the oldest café in Paphos is immediately very relaxed. Big thanks of course go to the dedicated and obliging staff but the place itself with its artsy decorations and long history makes it a splendidly convenient living room with a soul. Sitting on the cozy terrace underneath the trees watching the sunset is just brilliant while enjoying a nice cup of Cyprus coffee or a cocktail if it’s your cup of tea. It was a bit unfortunate that the timing of our entourage didn’t allow us to enjoy the live music events Sykaminia Café holds regularly. Luckily the sunny Cyprus is never too far from chilly Tallinn! Paphos itself offered a memorable and versatile off-season holiday with its picturesque nature and world heritage sites which can only be recommended. Small local establishments such as Sykaminia Café with its wonderfully warm-hearted people is what makes you want to come back again.

Stumbled across this Taverna earlier today. The margaritas are to die for (owner is Mexican - daughter is the margarita genius). Absolutely delightful. Essentially snacks and drinks. Servers/staff lovely. Made to feel very welcome. Background music perfect choice enhances experience. Will definitely come back. Loved it

Fantastic place! We ordered the platter with hummus, tzaziki, olives and pita bread. It was delicious. The lady is really kind and gives us good recommandations for our stay in Paphos.

A wonderful spot, family atmosphere, great breakfast, lunch and snack options. Excellent service to match. This area has been regenerated and looking good, even better in the next year or so. No complaints only praises. A must.

Nice local cafe. Halloumi, bacon, cucumber and tomato toastie was nice (€7) Frozen daiquiri was spot on. Made with real strawberries (€8) They need to update the drinks menu as we were charged €8 for the drinks, but the menu said €7.50 Outside seating is close to a road.

Excellent Cafe, great atmosphere with seating outside in the shade. There is a wide range of options you can have. Their orange juice is fresh which was nice, cold and refreshing.

The oldest cafe in town also offers delicious food. The hamburger could have been a little less cooked, but we were satisfied with the taste. The menu is rich enough, but not unnecessarily complicated. We shortened the wait for our order with board games. The cafe has a very friendly atmosphere, which is completed by cheerful signs and pictures. You can also find some examples on Instagram @er_bekk_illustration

Hidden gem in heart of old town. Place to hide from tourist masses and loud crowd. Amazing, welcoming stuff and very beautiful decorations.

Amazing & cozy little Café in the city centre of Paphos next to a viewing plattform. We enjoyed the food (the omelettes are amazing :) ) as well as the great cypress coffee and the (optional) reading from the coffee grounds. The staff and the owner are very kind and make you feel like you're at home. All in all, a must for everyone that loves a good breakfast in a nice atmosphere. We'll be back!

I had a late-morning snack at this cafe with my family. It has a friendly, laid-back vibe. The server spoke very good English and she encouraged us to try the typical Cypriot sweet by explaining how it is made. She also broughts some toys for our child. I would gladly return!

What an amazing cafe that we come across in the old town in Paphos opposite Cafe Nero. Don’t waste your time on food and drink there come across the road and experience the homemade delicious food, hospitality, and kind friendly staff… You won’t be disappointed, 11 years experience, family run business you will want to return. I recommend the homemade burger and chips or for you non meat eaters the homemade falafel 🥙 Yummy! Yummy!! If you are disappointed I will pay for you drinks 😍 🇨🇾

Not sure that this is family style place, but it surely gives this vibe. What I liked the most was staff - everyone was very friendly. Prices are very favorable, and food is great - simple, but it worked well for me. There is a collection of chairs that serve as a decoration at the place.

Coffee unfortunately did not come close to matching the ambiance of the place. Sorry guys but you need to make a trip to StoArtos Coffee Bakery, Larnaca to find out what I mean. You’ll thank me for this.
