Excellent food and large portions, value for money was spot on and the family welcome was genuine and made us feel at home, can't wait to go again.

A couple of years ago, I had probably my best meal in Cyprus right here. Amazing food and great service, crazy good value for the money. Looking forward to visiting again! UPDATE: Another super meal here in 2017! The same extremely friendly and helpful staff (this is a family business) and the food was just as delicious as I remembered. Extreme value for the money in every respect - I'll be back!

Outstanding food and Cypriot hospitality are offered to the guest here. Were warmly welcomed, toasted together with friendly locals and listened to traditional songs played for us. Lovely place ran by Andreas (chef) and his wife Sofia. Delicious food, nice portions, good price. try the: beef liver, pork loin, souvlakia, sheftalia, pork chops, fries. Their burger is very famous too!!

Simple tasty local food, super friendly service. You guys simply the best

Food was great! We ordered "meze" for two people and it was really big portion. We are not skinny people so we can eat a lot, but we couldn't deal with everything that we get. Price was good too, for two meze and two big beers (and for people from countries were beer is not as popular --> no, 500ml beer is not a big beer - 500ml is normal beer :) ) we pay 40 euros.

Small family owned tavern/souvlatzidiko. All food is well made with attention to detail by the owner chef Mr. Andreas. We've been eating here for years and will not stop any time soon. The vast majority of guests are locals as it's a bit outside the tourist centre of Kennedy Square and the old town but figure about 7-10 minute walk from the square. The menu is geared mostly to meat eaters but they will be happy to arrange something vegetarian with some notice. If you get the meze then make sure you're plenty hungry as the portions and variety is quite large! Usually no reservation is required but if you are more than say 5 people going on Friday or Saturday then it's best to call and reserve a table just in case. Also note they also do take away. Prices are on par with most other tavernas but I still think that it's good value for money. Highly recommended!

Exzellent food and kindly owners. They made us a not listet special menu for vegetarians. We loved it and had a long talk with special tips for trips and a delicious coffee liqueur at the end. The restaurant is quite far from Kato Paphos but it's absolutely worth it! So take a walk, enjoy the old town of Paphos and visit the Papallas, you will get traditional Cyprus cuisine!

You can't beat Tavernaki for value for money! We kept asking "how do they do it?"

This place is the main reason I want to come back to Paphos. The owners are really friendly and they do a perfect job to make you feel special. Also, if you want to try perfectly made local food, this is probably the best restaurant in the whole city.
