FORCED TO EAT!!! Tourist scam! 🤢 Nobody tells you that - but they charge you minimum 20 eur per person when u get there. It does not matter if you eat anything or not. So you better be hungry when you get here. Higher prices. 🤑 The entertainment was great ( dancing and music ), but the shady waiters and rude behavior left a bitter taste in our mouth. 😡 The food was ok. Kleftiko lamb was amazing - best I had in Paphos! 😋, swordfish was bland. It tasted like tuna from the can. 🐟 We had uncomfortable experience with waiters who were trying to force us to eat more! They do not have a basic decency! 🤡 Make the prices more transparent, not to confuse and threaten people!

I had a fantastic evening here, having a huge meal consisting in many many dishes far to many for me to remember! They had fantastic entertainment with loads of dancing / tricks with glasses! It was such a great evening I can not recommend this place enough! Keep up the crazy fun times!

Overall, I’d avoid this place as the bill was not cheap £140 exc. service, and we’ve eaten for half that price locally in far smaller venues with far superior quality food. Lovely location and charm but it appears that it’s just about getting you in and out spending as much as possible. My chicken was dry as hell and totally inedible. Chips were half ok and half not ok. My son got double charge for a double portion of fish and chips but didn’t get double portion just a double fish and same qty of everything else. Salad was ok and actually good (hard to mess fresh salad) but the vegetables were over cooked. I wasn’t asked how my food was and not was i energised enough to start my complaint as the main man looked mighty angry for unknown reasons. The main reason for leaving this review is that if a client/customer leaves their entire meal (99.9% of it) when you’re clearing up and you don’t ask what’s wrong, this means one thing - they knew what was being served to you and it didn’t matter either way if you said anything or not.

We had a fantastic night here! Food is delicious and comes in very generous portions but the prices are very good! The shows were absolutely amazing even if it was off season! We had a lot of fun, definitely coming back here! 100% recommend

This is hands down the greatest restaurant experience on the island. Make sure you come when music and dancing are available. Incredible food, large portions, pitchers of wine, dancing, balancing glasses, fireworks, the owner singing Cypriot songs, live music, and plates getting broken…..all in one night! You have to attend the incredible place.

What an amazing place!! Spent 5 days in Paphos and this was by far my favourite experience!! It's not just food, it's a whole evening of fun! The service was exquisite, food really really good and well priced and the performance so entertaining!! Love love love

We came before the actual opening (17:30) and had to wait to get it. The taverna is huge and has an local entertaining in the evening. The place is very popular and ha very extensive menu. We ordered a fish and lamb dish. As a desert got a fruits mix on the house! The place is not cheap but worth the money.

We had the best time! The entertainment was absolutely brilliant and the food was amazing! Thank you to every member of staff, you guys were out of this world! I highly recommend this place. It’s a must if you are in Pafos!

We were delighted with the place and the atmosphere until the waitress gave us warm vodka and then we gave up ordering, and the lady started rolling her eyes and arrogantly left the table! Food delicious, some of the staff need a customer service course.

Great authentic family restaurant and always busy. Service can be a bit slow but there is always something entertaining going on. Definitely worth a visit this one

Great traditional Greek Cypriot restaurant with live music and dancing which was quality and fun for all. We were well looked after by the hostess and all staff. Even danced in the street.

We came here after we just landed. Checked into the hotel. Had some issues with our keycard so left for food hangry by 9 pm. We passed Demokritos, asked if they still served food. After checking with the kitchen they did. We got the pork kebab. And this was so good, the meat was tender. The rice had a lot of flavor. It was a lot and everything tasted great. There was also live music with a great atmosphere. They made our day so much better!

This place is awesome. Tonight went in for some souvlaki for myself, and falafel for my wife. The food was excellent, and the staff were super attentive and friendly. The music provided was incredible. We knew from the moment we went in the place would be terrific as it was filled up with locals and tourists.... no disappointment at all! The tacern offer very entertaining program with traditional Greek dances. This is the only extraordinary thing. The service was not so exceptional. We were asked to wait to be seated which was expected as we did not have a reservation. After a while we were offered a table by a waiter who also announced that there is a minimum of 20 euro spent required per person. Thos was kind of odd as it was stated nowhere visibly. Of course it is easy to make such a bill but the attitude made me a carry bad impression. The food is ok but nothing special.

Wondeful entertainment with a talented orchestra. Generous portions as well. Four stars only because they closed without explanation between Xmas and New Year even though we were told they’d be open.

Got ignored as they concentrated on bigger parties of people. They did not ask if all was ok with the food. Not friendly, worse service I've had so far. There are better, cheaper places to eat with happier friendly staff. I do not recommend.

The food is nice and the vibe is nice but i feel like they need to put wayyy more feta for the price of the salad, and a bigger size...

A nice and happy Taverns in Paphos. Food quality is medium. the show is nice but dancers are amateurs....Atmosphere was good.

The food was at best average, with a beef that smiled to us from the plate (was rare not at all medium) portions were OK but be aware the garnish is rice not chips. Drinks were OK. The reason I gave them a star is that we asked if we could smoke, they said it's fine and brought us an ash tray and 30 seconds later asked us if we could smoke somewhere outside the property or if we could move to another table since other customers have complained. Since they told us it's OK to smoke I think that it was not our problem if there were any other complaints. At a chat with the server at the end of our meal his regard was: "it's your problem not mine". Later edit: how can you say it's a scam alert when we left about 30 minutes ago and had a total of 99 euros.

Me and my partner had the most amazing experience and food from here last night. I was apprehensive at first because my partner is a fussy eater but the food was all home cooked and fresh. The set menu is very fairly priced and the service and entertainment was impeccable. Best night so far.

The show and the atmosphere were just great! Took the king meat meze. The small dishes and salad were good but the meat is less than great...ate steak and lamb ribs and it wasn't tasty at all, asked for a medium and got a well done, also the ribs were very dry without any seasoning.

Restaurant with a small bar area and rustic atmosphere.. every evening they play traditional live music and have small shows of Cyprese Dances and some other talents. Wait till they bring out the clay plates and be ready for a surprise ;)

I would give 5stars for the entertainment but unfortunately the food was not great. We order the mix kebabs and the meat was really chewy. The atmosphere was great and the staff seemed nice but the really need to work on the food.

Server dictated how much should we order. After we declined it and odered something else he stopped serving us. All the next guests were served and we kept waiting and waiting when finally other server brought our drinks and food after 40 minutes of waiting. So if you want to order what you like DON'T GO THERE. If they don't like it they get mad at you and ignore you. WORST SERVICE IN CYPRUS!!!

Great atmosphere. Dancers are amazing and very entertaining. Food was good but not amazing. Portions were very large. Service was ok, they forgot us a couple of times but it was in the middle of peak hours so it’s forgivable.
