Nice to see from the outside. It's an old church located in the city center of Paphos. You can go outside in certain hours. It's located on a stone

This old church is literally named "covered by God" as it was built on a cliff and was clearly visible to pirate raiders from afar. However, when the pirates got closer to the shore, thick mist covered the entire area essentially hiding the church, making it impossible to locate. A great sight to visit and very close to the coastal walkway. Open during the day, free for anyone to visit.

Beautiful church and very welcoming. Being Good Friday an Epitaph representing Jesus's tomb was inside the entrance and the faithful paid their respects by kissing the feet of Christ.

Seemed nice on the outside and the location definitely adds interest to it but, although I stayed in the area and passed by multiple times every day, never actually saw it open. There are several good eateries nearby.

The church where 22 years a go, I felt God so close to me, like never before. August 2000 with a heavy heart I entered and later that evening I had my answers.

In Kato Paphos, up the slope from the Harbour. Nice looking church. Looks much more modern than the rebuild date of 1923. A couple of shaded benches outside if you just want to get out of the sun for a while. Away from most of the traffic and a relatively peaceful location.

Weekend morning chanting begins at 7AM and is broadcasted via loudspeakers to the entire district for hours. Church looks impressive on the outside but is very modest inside, not worth the climb.

The boss behaved very rudely with me & did not want to change an Alf-a electic cigarette which stopped working in less than 1 day. He accused me of trying to scam him when I had the receipt and everything.

An amazing array of archeological finds over a considerable area, ranging from prehistoric times to the middle ages. The most impressive are the four Roman villas. One has yet to be properly investigated and there are doubtless many more discoveries to be made. However the mosaic floors are stunning and well worth the visit. Be aware that there is little respite from the sun, so take a sun hat and plenty of water.

👍👍 Fantastic local beach. This beach is sooo nice. Great sand, crystal clear and I mean CRYSTAL clear water. Because of the breakwater the sea is really calm here. €7.50 for two sunbeds and an umbrella. Get a beer from the bar or order from the hotel. If you like snorkelling then definitely go here, s...
