(Translated by Google) Entrance for two was €9, I think the price is quite normal. There are several toilets on the territory, which are quite tidy with the flow of tourists. There is a lot to see: ancient mosaics that are ±2,400 thousand years old, columns, a theater, a forum, a lighthouse, the remains of a residence. There are also indoor recreation areas on the territory. It is possible to go to the lighthouse and climb the stairs. There is a church from the early Christian period and a castle. I recommend It is very cool to see and feel this (literally touch the past, in particular – mosaics). There is also an opportunity to see representatives of the fauna - many lizards, bugs, cats.)) The only thing is that (!) be sure to take water and hats, cream for protection, because it is quite hot here.

(Translated by Google) An amazing place here you can spend the whole day and enjoy the ancient sights, excavations, mazayki, beautiful views, and just walk along the trails. I advise you to get here at sunset, it's just magical. The place is a must-see if you live in Paphos.

Amazing place for everyone interested in ancient times and history (and not only). You need to use your imagination to see how extraordinary was it many years ago. The affordable price of tickets. I recommend reserving about two hours to explore all monuments.

It is an interesting place. to walk and just imagine how it was in the past. it helped to watch the video in the visitor's center before we walked around. Not all was open to visit, maybe because it was winter?

Magnificent mosaics, most of them dating from the mid-4th century, have been found in this huge protected area. These mosaics covered the floors of the wealthy residences, including the governor's palace. The house of Dionysus contains the most remarkable ensemble: around the atrium there are 22 rooms with floors covered with brightly coloured scenes, including the exuberant procession of Dionysus. The site also contains the ruins of an ancient theatre. We recommend spending a couple of days in Paphos so that you can visit all the interesting sites in the area at your leisure. I also recommend a visit to Petra tou Romieu; legend has it that this is the place where Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, emerged from the waves and the foam of the sea.

We’ve been to the archeological park next to Paphos harbour. We visited this site in the beginning of september 2021. We’ve paid 2,5euro to enter the park. Once in the park you can visit the old structures which is facinating. Some of the structures are not fully uncovered yet. So if you are lucky like we were you can see some archeologists digging up. Overall it was a nice place to visit. One of the downsides is that not every building is dug up and that there is no information whatshowever on the buildings. The buildings that are dug up are really nice to see.

(Translated by Google) There is a lighthouse. He invigorates. Everything else is pretty boring. Remains of buildings, frescoes. Large territory. Closes at 19.00.

(Translated by Google) Very well. Beautiful mosaics and columns. I expected more from the amphitheater, but overall I liked it. The house of Dionysus is just super. There is no doubt a lot of mosaic and they are all very beautiful. Archaeologists still have work to do, but they have already done so much. Recommend.

Good way to get sunburn. Most of it is out in the sun. ♨️☀️ Mosaics are nice, but there is nothing else to see. Not worth 4.5 euros. No audio guide, no water available, very nasty toilet...just a wasteland

Nice ruins and beautiful Mosaic. The castle which is on the map, is NOT included in the price apparently. Lovely lore and especially nice if the weather is bright and sunny. Some of the park is closed at the moment.

(Translated by Google) The object is quite interesting, but specific - for an amateur. The mosaics of the house of Dionysius are interesting and beautiful. The city walls, the lighthouse, the remains of the temple make an impression. There is very little shade on the territory, but there are a lot of sources of drinking water. There are no printed maps or schemes of the park, at the entrance they offer a QR code by which you can download the scheme (Original)

Pretty good place to spend time away from the main area of Paphos. It would have been nice to have some more facilities on hand... and audio guides would have been useful. It gets hot and there isn't any shade... so make sure you have suncream!!

Great place to see many amazing mosaics. It can be quite warm but two of the mosaic displays are also inside to escape the heat.

Stunning historical site, amazing windows to the past. It took us around two hours to see most of the site, it was very hot and exposed, take into account a lot of walking. Worth the visit, the site leaves its mark. The bad side of the site- There wasn't an option to take a guide/guided tour. There wasn't a physical map to the site, only phone application (if you have mobile internet). Not all pathway crossroads are marked with directions. Around 30 precent of the mosaic were covered with gravel.

The key landmark of Paphos, in my opinion. Excellently presented ruins and well-kept surrounding area. Look out for the many small details, such as the small piece of preserved mosaics in the main area. I’d give the park at least 2 hours, it’s well-worth the time.

For the price this is absolutely fantastic, I believe we paid €4.50 each. So much to see so be prepared for quite a bit of walking. It could do with being signposted a bit better whilst you’re in there as quite a lot of things are very spread out and can easily be missed but would definitely recommend!

Some aspects are really nice and enjoyable but what ruined our visit was that they had already closed the house of Dionysus (main mosaics rooms) well before closing time. No one was there nor told us anything at the front when we were buying tickets.

(Translated by Google) Historic place in the center of Paphos, near the promenade. It is interesting to walk, see, but not in the heat. Beautiful mazayki! A beautiful working lighthouse.

When you are in Paphos, don't forget to visit this beautiful archeological site. It takes ca. 2 hours to walk and check all ruins but it's worth doing so.

  • 4/5 Aleksandra K. 2 years ago on Google
The place itself is wonderful to visit, however the opening hours provided are wrong, the place is open till 19:30, last entrance at 19:00. Its important to know due to the temperature during the day - the site is extremely hot and soaked in sunlight. More shaded places to shelter would be nice.

👍👍 Fantastic local beach. This beach is sooo nice. Great sand, crystal clear and I mean CRYSTAL clear water.
