Akamas National Forest Park is great fun. We had an amazing day here. I really recommend renting a quad motorcycle or a buggy, to explore all the beauty of the park. The roads here are not suitable for cars so this is a great alternative. There are several hiking trails, you will have nice walks with a stunning view. Bring appropriate footwear, food and water as there is no place to buy anything.

But be ready that all the roads are gravel, so you may find it challenging to go on a regular car (best to have an SUV, but i managed on Nissan Note). The best approach it's through the mountain ridge through Ineia and Fasli (the best road conditions).

We met drivers in small cars that had been crawling along for 3 or 4 hours trying to get out on to tarmac. These roads are rough but the scenery is worth it IF you have the right vehicle.
