Fungus. This is the biggest problem of the apartment. You smell it the moment you enter. There are a couple of chemical air fresheners that fight it in the apartment, so you feel like you are hit in the nose. Can be nice for people that gather mushrooms in the forest, you know, bring back good memories. Bathroom is really dirty and the real smell of decay hits you when you start the shower. It is the first time we felt uncomfortable using the shower even wearing boots. Shower pipe is broken close to its head. Fridge leaks water. The other amenities are kind of OK. The TV is really old with only a couple of local channels, no casting to tv possible. Beds are comfortable. But we certainly are sorry that we stayed here and will look for another place for the rest of holiday.

Paphos Gardens is an excellent hotel in a great location. The all inclusive food is exceptional with lots of choice and of a great standard. When we arrived the gentleman on reception was really helpful when we requested to change rooms to be next to my partner's daughters. The roopms are spacious and clean. Our cleaner is really friendly. Lucas the barman is attentive and friendly.!

We are very pleased with our stay. We are in a studio apartment with two king-size bedrooms. Settee, chairs and fridge freezer and cooking facilities. Not that we need all that because the food is excellent in the main hotel. Have eaten outside by the main pool every night and food delicious with changes made every night. Smaller Oasis pool suits us better as quieter and very relaxing. Evening entertainment a bit mixed, hence 4 stars rather than 5. There have been several nights with outside singers which have been great and they have involved the guests too. Cleanliness and service by cleaners has been good. Would recommend. I am glad I didn't take bad reviews by others seriously as I have no complaints what so ever. So glad I came. Have had a lovely holiday.

This is a great location and we have visited for holidays for the past 20 years but it's getting rather dated and worn,it needs money throwing at it to bring it up to date. The people who work there are in the main great and under the circumstances do a good job. After all this the rooms are clean and there are plenty of towel and sheet changed and hay it's cheep!!!! Please management we love this place but get it done soonest.

Had a great holiday, friendly, helpful staff who were always available to help. Our air conditioning wouldn't work and they fixed it within an hour of us asking. Food was really good and a kids corner too! Rooms basic but cleaned daily by friendly cleaners. Drinks are great, definitely worth bring all inclusive. My only complaint is that despite notes saying not to reserve beds the hotel does not enforce this so you have to get up before 7am to get a bed by the pool...no lie ins on holiday!

Everything has been very good. Excellent staff. Food better than expected. With being able to keep room until midday a bonus. And a short walk to beaches. Would definitely come again.

Food was good we were all inclusive but their are two bars the branded drinks which you had to pay for and the other bar were unbranded which are in with your accommodation you can guess which was the quality bar . We arrived late after midnight so we missed our evening meal so the day you leave you are still not entitled to you evening meal and your all exclusive ends at 5pm even tho we werenโ€™t leaving till 8 pm on the whole staff were friendly

Our stay was nice overall. Cozy hotel. Reception was very helpful and polite. Food was tasty and there were a lot to chose from. But one guy (maybe manager) was really bothering as every evening he asked for our eating cards angrily. Also it looked like he wasn't respectful to senior guests as well. There were also some minor drawbacks in room. Twin beds are on the wheels so they get separated which is not comfortable. No sockets near the beds.

Just can't fault the place, rooms were clean and kept clean throughout our stay, staff were good with the kids and always helpful with anything going over and above, food was varied and consistently tasty, entertainment was varied and well thought out. A fantastic quieter location well within walking distance of the rest of pathos.

Got back yesterday. Had a brilliant time. The two ladies that did the entertainment at night (karaoke bingo quiz) brilliant. Lovely ladies. Food very good very local to restaurants and bars. Literally 5mins walk to the beach. We stayed in an apartment which was very spacious apart from the bathroom. Very very tiny.but otherwise clean and did the job. Definitely go back again.

Not sure if was just English this place didn't like but has to be the worse place I have stayed at in Cyprus, photos on the page are totally wrong large swimming pool is a building site indoor poor was cold and tiles coming off the floor cut grandson foot spoke to reception who didn't seem bothered at all we went all inclusive to relax around pool which didn't happen at all stay away from here look at somewhere else. If you speak to management only reply you get is well only 3 stars it should realistically only be a 1 star

Clean rooms , they were serviced daily to a good standard, friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, always a smile from everyone, nice pool area, plenty of sun beds and seating area outside, food was good and fresh and plenty of it, lots of choice, salads were amazing . Great location a short walk to the beach and a lovely walk to the castle at the harbour. I have read other reviews and I think some of them are a little harsh, the only thing that needs looking at I'd say , is the carpet on the 1st floor, it could do with being replaced, I can't comment on the other floors as I didn't go the 2nd or -1 floor, the rest of the decoration was clean and bright, I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family !!!

All inclusive Is worth the money but the food is very repetitive and average, drinks selection is good. I stayed on floor 1 and there was wet patches all over the corridor from the floor above, staff were friendly on the whole except for a couple which were rude, loucas the barman being 1. Steve the entertainer was great, there wasn't enough seating around the hotel on a night or day as all the sunbeds got reserved early in a morning and kept all day despite nobody being sat on them.

Good location. Good food, was tasty although a bit repetitive. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Would agree that the whole resort needs a major make over! Would not go back despite having a fairly good holiday.

Staff were lovely, apartment needs some work, loose handle on bath, sink could do with a new one as loose & cracked. Would recommend putting in a broom, dust pan & brush & most importantly an airer so you have somewhere do dry your swimming gear & towel's. Was very close to harbour which was lovely during day & night. Will go back to Cyprus as it's a lovely island.

Didn't know what to expect having never been to this hotel before, we were given a two bedroom apartment with a kitchen and lounge-dining room which we're really pleased with. Breakfast was every thing you expect. Location was 5 minutes to sea and 20 minutes to the harbour, there is plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Overall a really good holiday.

Chilled old-school resort hotel with apartments in the grounds. Grounds and leafy with shade trees and flowers. Staff really friendly, guests a mix of ages. Evening entertainment, small gym etc. Nothing fancy but perfect for a relaxing stay. 5 minutes walk to coast walk with small beaches.

Fantastic spot close to beaches and a walkable distance (30min) to the center. The breakfast buffet is huge but it gets a bit monotonous after a few days. I prefer in some hotels that they have rotating buffets offer. They also have two outdoor pools and one indoor pool available for free, we didn't use them since we were exploring the island. I loved the huge apartment with all the kitchen utilities and furniture, even if it was a bit dated it felt super cozy. The resort also has daily live events, even in December, such as music and yoga. What made this experience stand out were the thoughtful welcome and farewell gifts which you need to experience yourself :)

Stayed for two weeks in all inclusive option. The accommodation consists of a main hotel and about a dozen or so two storey self catering apartment blocks. Each part has its own pool. The food is plentiful comprising Greek, British and international cuisine. Drinks, included alcoholic were part of all inclusive option. The buildings are of their time and are clean and practical. The staff are polite and hardworking. The beach is ten minutes walk away. Paphos town is fifteen minutes walk away. There is a good bus service. The clientele is mostly British and the atmosphere is family orientated. Overall, recommend for a family holiday. Visit to Tombs of the Kings is a must.

Overall myself and my son enjoyed our stay here. The main hotel building can be called a little dated but the staff were friendly and helpful. We did all inclusive and my son stuffed his face breakfast lunch and dinner. As for myself I made the most of the all inclusive drinks as much as I could. The pool was a decent size although a little chilly. That's not a bad thing though when the air temperature is hovering around 28 to 30ยฐC during the day. There is an indoor pool also, a gym, a spa, a couple of pool tables and a ping pong table. Plus you have the usual evening entertainment that you'd expect from these places. It's a short walk to Poseidon avenue where you can walk left to the nearest bus stop or carry on to a little huddle of bars and shops etc. Or turn right towards the harbour and lots more bars, restaurants, shops and a bigger supermarket. It's also only a five minute walk to the beach which is off Poseidon Ave on the other side of the Amavi Hotel. Location wise it's not bad at all and there is a rooftop bar not far from the Hotel that you can see the Sea from during the day. Its one of the cheaper hotels in that area so if you're on a budget then maybe give it a try.

I have never before now ,ever wrote a review but after my experience at Paphos gardens I feel compelled to warn families off going to this hotel. This hotel is very run down and has not had any investment in it since it was built. The hotel is not child friendly at all. The location is in a run down area of Paphos with not a lot around it. While the pool area was nice the rest of the hotel is depressing and very run down. The reception staff were nice but the restaurant staff were a total disgrace. They were miserable and appeared not too like the English or kids very much. The all inclusive is terrible. The food is cold and off poor standard. The staff were vile to my children ,too the point that I payed to move hotel after a few nights to save the holiday. There was no kids food at all and I had to argue to get chicken nuggets and chips for them ,absolutely pathetic really. They also at first did not want to give the kids a Pepsi or coke,it was under duress. Ice creams were not available at the hottest part of the day and the staff wouldnโ€™t give out table tennis bats either. Absolutey shocking on all levels. Do Not take your family here. The final straw came when the staff would not cook a pan cake for my eight year daughter when in the centre of the restaurant they had it all set up to cook pancakes. This hotel has a terrible atmosphere that my kids picked up on and we could not wait to leave ,what ever costs were in involved. Paphos gardens is a very sad state of affairs where hospitality has been totally forgot. I have given 1 star because I had too I wouldnโ€™t have even give it that Do not go there and ruin your holiday Todd

This is the definition of โ€œyou get exactly what you paid forโ€. But for price we paid I would definitely stay here again. The staff was amazing, rooms quite nice with a/c in every room. 3 pools in the complex though in October quite cold. Multiple bars. And cats on the terrace and everywhere are simply amazing! Breakfast was โ€œall inclusiveโ€ good, so huge choices and fresh omelettes made it so good. I liked the idea of โ€œspaโ€, but it is very outdated, the staff there was very nice, but I would hate to experience that ever again, it was a bit embarrassing and quite pricey. Now I have a good laugh about it but I will not ever again use spa at 3 stars hotel. Or just this one.

Booked this last minute for a quick all inclusive getaway for 5 days and I have to say it was exceptional value for money. Super friendly staff, my youngest has very specific dietary requirements and the chef could not be more helpful. Mattress was too firm but otherwise a fantastic place. Some people have written very scathing reviews which are completely unjustified. Top place, would highly recommend.

Stayed at Paphos Gardens in 2 bed apartment last week with my partner, his daughter and my mum. The apartment was spacious and clean. AC in every room and a beautiful terrace with orange trees, a view of the pool and lots of friendly cats! It had everything that was needed. The beds were in need of new mattresses, very squeaky and hard and the sofa bed for two definitely wouldn't fit two! It also toppled if you sat on one side. Would have been helpful to have some basic cleaning equipment in the apartment to help keep it clean although cleaners would come in daily if wanted. We were originally booked in as B and B but we were offered an upgrade to all inclusive which we took as we thought it was a good deal. It did cover our drinks and offered 3 meals a day buy we were disappointed with the all inclusive buffet as it was very samey every day and very little there for kids. Their was a pasta or pizza part but quite often the toppings were not kid friendly so we didn't all eat there much in the end which was a shame. Just the addition of chips would have been helpful or toasties at lunch rather than main meal only buffet. In the end we bought lunch by the pool which was lovely. The pool area was nice, clean and comfortable. The pool was chilly but once you were in you warmed up. The staff at the hotel were fantastic and very friendly and helpful which made everything worthwhile. The location was great too. I would stay again but not do all inclusive.

This hotel is decent but has room for improvement. We spent four nights in two apartments, but unfortunately, they didn't clean our rooms at all during our stay. The beds aren't very comfortable to sleep. The food was quite ordinary and lacked flavor. However, the hotel's pools are a highlight - they're nicely sized and the expansive property gives the hotel a pleasant appearance. It's also quite affordable. While it's an acceptable choice, there are better options available at a similar price. Overall, it's a fairly average hotel โ€“ nothing particularly bad, but nothing outstanding either.

Recently stayed here as a single traveller on a weeks all inclusive. Overall the hotel was pleasant but definitely aimed at families. The food was good but would have liked more local cuisine to try. Room was ok but could have been cleaned more during stay and did look a little tired. hotel was only a short walk from the main harbour which was good for evenings and general activities.

The hotel was OK, we had issue with one of the AC, and it took 2 days to fix it. Meanwhile we did not have AC in the living room, ( the rooms AC was fine). The facilities are quite old and could have been maintained better. Staff was really nice and helpful, Good value priced hotel.

Didn't know what to expect on arrival after reading the reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised From start to finish. We were self catering so I can't comment on the food. I would recommend this to anybody and wouldn't hesitate to back thanks to all the staff ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

Good value hotel. Staff and reception area are both wonderful, great location and amenities. Rooms are very cozy and clean however could use a little renovation in terms of paint and modernization. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, wouldโ€™ve hoped to see a little variety and change up in dishes. Would definitely visit again.

For this kind of Hotel a really good experience. I love it! The only thing to complain is the cleaning staff. We were staying for two weeks. When we first got into the room it was very clean and it stayed for this for the first few days like this, but after about five days our floor wasn't cleaned anymore. After complaining it was cleaned partly for only once in the whole second week of our stay. Then we gave up and just lived with the dirty floor and this comment on Google.

Apartments are great, spacious really worth the value. Housekeeping doing great jobs to keep the apartments clean. However, the mattress are very hard and I ended up with a painful back after a weekโ€™s stay. Big disappointment was quality of food and drinks in the restaurant. Service extremely poor, staff unwelcoming and unhelpful. Even the gentleman who is restaurant manager wouldnโ€™t ask guest if everything is alright or anything. However, still to mention Maria and Melo who were exception and helped when required and gave a smile which of utmost importance to the F&B service area. Reception staff are helpful especially Xenia she is extremely unhelpful, kind and real asset to this place. She believes in providing great service so that guest chose to come back and I can say that she is actively providing great guest service. So Well done Xenia and thank you for everything during our stay from 11.4.23 until 17.4.23 in 208 Ibscus.

I was relocated to this hotel by the travel agency because the hotel of my choice didn't open up for the season. However, it turned out to be very nice! The location was fine, close to the sea and not as far from the city center. My room was large and included a balcony with a great view on the pool and palms. The pools were just OK. The food was very tasty although the menu was repetitive. What I appreciated the most was the friendliness of staff. People on reception, waiters, janitors - all of them were extremely helpful and friendly. I think it's a good value for money, above my expectations for a three-star hotel. One little minus - nobody cleaned my room and replaced the towels until I asked for it in the reception.

The Paphos Garden Holiday Resort is a fairly large hotel, at least according to my experiences, the staff is always very courteous and helpful with customers, the restaurant has a buffet menu where you can often find typical dishes such as some desserts, it has two swimming pools even if I only saw one because I didn't go to the second one, in the evening after dinner I always saw a different animation for entertainment, in my opinion it is a place suitable for families. Recommended.

I am finding the staff a little bit off handed. Reception staff not too bad. We were told about the offer to go all inclusive and since we took up the offer I feel we are being treated like second class citizens. Canโ€™t use reception bar. Glasses of drinks are smaller and basic. Feel we are looked down upon. Shame really. Hotel needs an update.

Just come to the end of a 2 week stay and the hotel needs a bit of TLC especially the pool and the showers as the water pressure is not great at all. Some members of staff stood out more than others, Eleni and barman George (from Johannesburg) were great made the holiday fun. However, 2 other members of staff were the complete opposite Grumpy George who works in the restaurant and Mr Costa the manager of the restaurant extremely grumpy and unhappy in their work and donโ€™t like other staff interacting with the guests. Our housekeeper was lovely (Maria) always did a great job. Entertainment needs improvement. The all inclusive bar closes at 11pm which then forces you to pay for drinks at the other bar after that even though youโ€™ve paid for all inclusive.

We found a cheap deal for a 1 bed apartment online during our travels across Cyprus. It was a good size and although a little outdated in areas, still very good value for money. Our main issue was lack of hot water, which is necessary in winter. Even after finding a hot water toggle switch and waiting an hour the water was lukewarm at best. I told the reception who said they would send maintenence but nothing ever happened. Secondly the staff at the breakfast buffet were pretty rude, snatching the tongs back as well as tutting and sarcastically questioning us when we returned finished plates to a cleaning trolley to avoid a swarm of cats.

Stayed here for 7 days. Great reception staff, close to all amenities. The main positive was all the friendly cats that live in the complex. The apartment I stayed it needed some TLC but aside from that it's generally a good place with an onsite gym, spa facilities, 2 outdoor pools and one indoor. There's also a launderette on site

The main reason why this place gets a rating of 1 is the dire cleanliness conditions. The worst part was the unwashed dishes in the cupboards. Everything was dirty - pots, cups, plates, cutlery. Some of them looked as if someone was making dinner a moment before our arrival. The rest of the things only contributed to this assessment. The induction hob was cracked and turned off frequently during use. The wifi network often turned off and came back after some time, besides, I do not understand why guests have to use the 2.4g band if the router supports 5g. Sometimes there was no hot water and then you had to turn on the red button and wait 30 minutes, it may not be a big problem but imagine my bitterness when I wanted to take a hot shower and when I was already undressed it turned out that only cold water was flowing. The shower itself was terrible as well. On the first day, I washed "normally" and flooded the entire bathroom and part of the corridor. In the following days I had to use the lowest possible water pressure, but it always flooded part of the bathroom. Beds are very uncomfortable. Some of the sockets were not working. I am not clinging to the general standard of the place because it was associated with a relatively low price, but such basics as cleaning up after previous guests and maintaining cleanliness should be maintained regardless of the price.

Clean hotel, and tasty food although repetitive. Wide range of activities both mid-day and evening. At night there's bingo, karaoke, or live music depending on the days. The location is brilliant, there is a beach on the doorstep and other good locations within short walks. There is also a good public transport to get to nearby locations, with a stop just round the corner.
