Don't go there. Our room was so hot when we came that we needed 2 hours to cool it down. Balcony was covered with bird poo. We also met a crew of insects in the bathroom which is so small you can barely turn around. You get the key with a fob, you insert the fob in the wall to power up the electricity i the room. This means if you want to go to the pool or in a shop near by, you cant leave AC on or charge your phone. AC was terrible and we had it working all night while sleeping, because it just cant cool down the room. Pool was so dirty my gf did not even want to go in. Breakfast is basic and very cheap, i wouldn't recommend. Coffee was horrible as well. We got only one towel but we got one more when we asked for it. Fridge door couldn't be closed fully. If you want a great vacation, don't go to this place.

It is a good value for money. Pool is nice, food is ok. Rooms are quite good and clean. I give it 3 stars because it wasn't COVID friendly at all. People and staff using the elevator without mask. Costumers taking their food from self service buffet without mask or any other precaution (although there were one use gloves available). All the staff using their masks under their noses....but this seems to be "the Cypriot way" of wearing the mask... (If they wear it, not often)

You get exactly what you pay for. Don't come here expecting anything fancy. The rooms are small but include a balcony. The staff at reception are friendly and helpful and available 24/7. However the breakfast here is absolutely awful. Most of the food items on the breakfast buffet are to be avoided and the coffee tastes exactly like burnt plastic. The location is amazing as you're only a short walk from the beach and there are many good restaurants and bars in the locality. The pool here is very nice especially in the morning when it's quieter. It's definitely one of the redeeming qualities of the hotel along with it's staff and location.

Very nice hotel. 80s vibes. Every person of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Stayed here for 7 nights with wife and baby and felt very good. Very nice pool. Breakfast buffet very basic but it's included in the price of the room. Great welcome from Luckis. C u again.

Customer service was poor. We were poorly welcomed even after our flight had been cancelled. We waited for ages to be allocated rooms, and the rooms were not tidy enough. The next day we asked for drinking water and they said we had to buy . Poor Service and not a place we would recommend.

Good thing about the hotel is that it has a pool. Its a bit far from the city. There arent many shops near the hotel. Rooms are okay. Double beds arent the best because they are 2 seperate beds 90×200 what are just pushed together and they slide apart. Beds are quite hard. From the tour guide point the hotel location is good because most of the tour firms have the hotel on their pick up location list.

Great value for money, lovely pool area, staff great, cleaners in every day if you want them, a special mention for Diana, the bar manager on evenings, she is the loveliest host you could wish for couldn't do enough for us, thank you for a lovely stay at your hotel, John and Kim from UK.

We stayed here here as our flight with easyjet was overnight delayed and omg what a horrible place to stay. Smell like 100 years old cellar. Decor goes back to 70s . Cockroaches running around. I've never stayed in place like this before . People were leaving to go to stay else where as this place is not fit for purpose. This place should be closed down. Staff is rude and unfriendly as well . Our beautiful holiday just got spoiled by one night here . I would rather stay on the bench at the airport then in this hotel . Don't come here ,don't waste your money as this hotel is disappointment

I had an overnight stay here while waiting for a connecting flight, and was really impressed with their customer service. I had an early morning flight to catch, and the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful, organising a taxi very quickly for me (and even giving me the taxi company number because she could see my concern!). I checked in too late for dinner, and too late for an early breakfast to be arranged, and she was very apologetic about this. My room was clean, as was the bathroom, and the bed was large and comfortable. Wish I could have stayed to enjoy use of the pool, but I'll definitely be coming back here, so next time! Also in a great location, on bus route 216, so I paid €1.20 to get there instead of a €30 taxi ride; big bonus, especially when you're looking to save some money.

Definitely one of the best hotels in Paphos! Very clean, peacefully and practical place to stay and enjoy your holidays. Also, it's excellent value for money.. None of other hotels around will give you these comforts at this price. The staff is very friendly! Last but not least, you can walk on foot around the hotel because it's very close to the old castle-harbour!

Nice location and friendly staff when we turned up after out EasyJet flight was cancelled. Wouldn't be the sort of place I would choose for myself as only a 3 star hotel but probably good value for money. Rooms are dated and could do with upgrading/ a refresh but bed linen and towels were clean, pool was nice. Worth popping next door to the Greek Grill

Served us well for an overnight stay before going to our self-catering villa. Staff on reception friendly. Buffet breakfast was like a bun fight and very poor vegan and GF options. Pool nice but if full would be like human soup. Rooms basic and well worn. We had two rooms, 1 room’s aircon was very good whilst ours was barely working. Coolest setting see picture. Patio doors need to be closed for aircon to work.

Decent hotel. There are banana palm trees in the hotel garden. The food is decent, the rooms are tidy, there is an elevator. In the hotel you can buy a power adapter for a couple of euros because the sockets are UK. The beach is a 10-minute walk from hotel. There is a promenade along the sea, so you can walk to other nearby beaches. And you can walk by the sea even at night because the promenade is illuminated.

Just spent a week at the Veronica Hotel in Paphos. Incredible value for money, the Hotel is clean, cosy and very chilled out. The Staff were lovely and very helpful, the swimming pool area was excellent loads of sunbeds and plenty of shade if needed. Also a brilliant location close to the beach and plenty of Bars and restaurants close by.

Rooms were clean, the location was great. We only stayed a night. The view from the room was amazing, citrus trees and we collected some before we left, obviously we asked for permission 😉

  • 5/5 Deborah H. 10 months ago on Google
The staff were very polite helpful and would do anything they could to help you. The food was wonderful with so much choice, 4 choices of meat and fish, 4 or 5 choices of salads too and puddings also fruit. The hotel was quiet, near to the beach! Bus stop outside, to go to the harbour, mall, very cheap. The pool and gardens are very pretty. We would definitely return to this lovely hotel!! ****

Forced to stay here after easy jet flight cancellation. Check-in lady and one bar staff lady outstanding. How the check in lady kept smiling I shall never know. Rooms very basic. Breakfast average but lunch was very good. Hotel does need a re vamp however pool area beautiful

We enjoyed the pool and we arrived outside of school hoildays so was quiet. However, the food was the worse part! There was very limited options and a lot of food was undercooked e.g. rice and potatoes. Staff were quite rude and unpleasant. The resturant next to the hotel was nice and not to long of a walk to the beach. Overall, good hotel for the price but would not include the food package.

Having visited for 3 nights to visit friends I was horrified. Bathroom and hand towels are scarce. Only 3 towels for the stay and they were thinner than net curtains. The bathroom was a struggle to get in and out with hardly any room to maneuver (photos enclosed). Further to that the plumbing was a problem, run the water for a minute or so and you have to wait minutes before it goes down the drain. In the dining room, staff had a gloomy face. And aggressively the female staff told me to pay for my meal BEFORE I ate!!! Reception staff need education in customer relationship urgently. I would never recommend this establishment

Even less the one star. 1. Hotel facilities are old. 1970 are the reality, and not in the good way. 2. Staff isn’t friendly- we were almost charged for 100 € for “losing” the key, while it was in the office! We had the impression that they are trying to trick us, but we insisted to have evidence that we lost it. Eventually because we didn’t give up, they gave up and let us go with no penalty. 3. Bed bugs - I came back scratching. 4. Bath is old, and the smell is terrible. 5. Room want clean, sheets had a smell of someone else. 6. The food wasn’t edible. 7. Pool - ok, but not clean. 8. The Only thing that was “good” is the parking. 9. Don’t go. Thanks.

Lack of professionalism and hospitality. I feel very disappointed as I didn't see the Cypriot hospitality that other hotels provide. The staff was not trying to help us out at all (after we called them multiple times and waited a lot because they sounded annoyed that we called and not trying AT ALL to help) Not recommending this one FOR SURE!

I really enjoyed my recent staying in Veronica Hotel! Very good ratio price / quality, gentle staff, its position is quite strategic, a few minutes from the sea, and a bus stop is very close to it

  • 4/5 Marie W. 9 months ago on Google
It's not very good if you want to explore as you don't have any choice. The weather was good but the hotel was not what I expected, the breakfast was very boring as the only thing that I was able to eat was bread as the flies were over most of the food. I am sorry to have to say but if they had covers over the hot food it would have been great. The room we asked for was a view of the pool, what we got was trees as it blocks the view. Don't think I will be back.😐

  • 3/5 Sophie C. 7 months ago on Google
Not the best - the rooms are very dated and lacking life. The bathroom door didn’t close or lock… the general corridors and area feel a bit lifeless. The pool area was a bit smelly and quite small for the amount of rooms. It was ok but certainly not a nice place to be, not joyful at all. Good balcony though. For the money, I’d recommend looking elsewhere - there’s nothing dreadful about it but it’s just very blah.

Hotel is very clean and tidy ,our room was at front of hotel which was very noisy and was kept awake all night to the sound of pack of dogs barking at 3am for 2 hours ,crazy drivers also speeding past ,oh and the donkeys making noise through night ,also you have to pay extra each day just for a basic item like the fridge etc not ideal and the hotel is not catered for children or family's, avoid this hotel if you want a peaceful holiday

The rooms in this hotel are very small and dated. The food is abysmal and gave our 3yr old diarrhoea. They need to get rid of the chef! Lunchtime food just in trays outside, cats everywhere in the outside section of the restaurant. The staff look fed up and don't seem to want to be there. The lady serving at the pool bar was lovely and the only friendly member of staff. Good location close to the beach, bars, and restaurants. Very nice pool, really clean which is all this hotel can really boast about. Had to pay €3.50 a day for the fridge and also pay for a kettle which should be standard! Such a shame because the location is perfect but it seems they are just running the place into the ground. Change is needed!!

We had bed bugs , bugs all over the beds, sink toilet and shower, they sprayed and killed them whilst we was out for 2 hours only . Came back and they was still there but dead this time 🤢 staff where friendly , however they did not do much about our issues with the hotel, food was awful especially lunch meal , chicken was undercooked , no labels on any of the food , poor selection of uncooked food, we had to eat out many times , before moving hotels it was that bad , wouldn’t let my dog stay here, we was not expecting luxury, but cooked food and no bed bugs would have been nice ..

Typical Mediterranean hotel. Spacious, a lot of wood, almost no decorations and a nice pool. Room is very spacious but very noisy. Breakfast is okay, but basic. Location is near the airport and across the street are pubs, restaurants and shops. Find this review helpfull, click thumbs up. Thnk! When in Cyprus follow me for more information.

Hotel room was very nice, you gotta pay for certain things to work (like the refrigerator) but it's alright. Stuff is amazing, but the food was not so good, breakfast is bad and dining is just alright. we ended up ordering deliveries everyday because we didn't enjoy the food. The Location is fine, you can get to almost anywhere by the buss or taxi, there is also a supermarket facing the hotel, so you can by essential stuff and goods.

The hotel lacks the basics like kettle, water and tea. Dirty and smelly rooms with extremely cheap beds. The car park is full of holes. The reception is uncooperative and refused to refund even after we stayed for 30 minutes. NEVER TRY TO STAY HERE!!!

This property indicates that they are taking safety precautions against COVID-19 BUT ITS FAKE. NEVER AGAIN! The hotel is not respecting basic very basic COVID-19 rules, which are usually respected in all hotels in south Cyprus (this is the fifth hotel I tried). Clients (90% Russians) go directly to the restaurant without mask, they take the food gathering around the table without mask nor gloves, “try” their drinks nearby the coffee machine. Disgusting. The waiters have their masks on below the nose. They don’t monitor nor asks guests to wear their masks while entering the restaurant. I figured this is an habit for the guests and they were probably told by the Russian guide “not to worry”. The receptionist told me she would speak with the manager but the next two days nothing changed. Not even an apology. The non-respect of hygienic rules IS NOT A PLUS FOR A HOTEL, it is rather mandatory. Such a lack of professionality and respect. This should be clearly specified in the website as the guests need to know whether they want to face the risk before spending their money. The food was old and of very poor quality. The level of clients was very low. We were only provided two small shampoos for the two days, which they didn’t refurbish. The towels were not changed on the next day.

I booked for one night and with a 32 Celsius degrees, the AC was not working. They didn't want to get me a new room and the technician never came to repair. The frigobar was also off and someone had to come in the morning to turn it on. COVID-19 rules: the guests don't follow the rules using masks while most of them get near the self service breakfast without mask. Irony: when I did the check in, they asked me if I was vaccinated for what? You go and complain to the manager but nothing happens. I will never come back again and will never recommend it.

at this point of time, hotel is pretty empty and we were the only ones at the hotel. Breakfast was not that great, as juices tasted like water and food was ok. I'll accept the apology cause there is no income, outcome, there is no customers and its not season time

  • 3/5 Gosia A. 2 years ago on Google
The hotel has years of light behind it, rooms are small, without amenities (for a refrigerator you have to pay extra, there is only one key) and cleanliness also leaves a little to be desired. As for the food it was also quite monothematic and without much choice. However, on the plus side the proximity of good taverns and the beach (about 800 metres) and free parking for guests. A plus of the hotel are the people serving the reception, always helpful and smiling. This is a good choice if you want to explore and spend most of your time outside the hotel.

It's okey for the short trip. You had option with only breakfast - food was okey but without spices. Lobby is fantastic made but the rooms are in a very low budget made. Staff is very professional and helpful. Everyone knows English and can do any task like call a car for rent or give some advice for tourist.

  • 4/5 Jakub L. 1 year ago on Google
Staff was very profesional and helpful. Meals served as a buffet, every day different theme (f.e. Mexic, oriental, roast) were tasty. Room wasn’t 100% clean but it was acceptable.

Out dated. No toiletries. No slippers. Small rooms. Basic uncomfortable bedding. Not enough towels-in room and had to go to reception to get myself. Rude receptionist. Small bath for kid and outdated shower in bath. Terrible balcony view

Unfortunately this should be 1 or 2 stars Hotel. Breakfast very limited. Not a simple kettle or tea cup in the room The young female receptionist thinks she is the centre of the universe ( doesn't know that she needs to treat people nice and friendly) not like her servants

Hotel is good if you need a place to sleep and to eat something normal. If you expect luxury room and sophisticated food - forget it. When we entered the room first, we found a pair of socks on the floor, and generally the room looked as someone was still living there. Cleaning is every 2-3 days. Meals are repetitive, but they're ok if you eat what you get. Vegetarians have poor choice (especially for lunch), limited coupons/tallons for all drinks - if you want more, you have to pay. Swimming pool and nearby garden also look good. Location is very nice - bus stops are just in front of the hotel, beaches and famous attractions can be reached on foot or by bus. If you want to eat outside, there are taverns and restaurants in close neighborhood. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and it turned out that there's a lady at reception desk who comes from Poland (so do we), which was a nice surprise for us.

Worst thing - the beds. It not fun to get back pain in a vaccation. Change only this and you will make your guests much better exp. Breakfast - tried only 1 day, but cheap and unhealthy food. Pool - fine + Desk: we arrived at 1am night, didnt offered us water, food or anything. Felt like "give your money and get along by yourself:

Very unwelcoming staff starting with the reception.. the bed sheets & bellows are not clean & when I asked to change they said it’s only dirty spots but it’s not used !! Most strange answer I’ve heard in a hotel !! The blanket smells bad, the towels are sooo old can’t be used .. Even the elevator is not clean .. not recommended at all

For the third time staying at Veronica. Very helpful staff, friendly and nice. The hotel has a lovely pool(side) with lovely flowery plants and trees surrounding it and is situated outside the busy areas. Lots of parking place.

The staff were helpful and friendly we had a couple of room problems ( the actual rooms were good just the location) the reception staff especially Yuri were very helpful and sorted the problem the rooms were clean beds comfortable all rooms had balconies Breakfast food was plenty what ever time you went location was good lovely pool area and for a 3* hotel I thought value for money would certainly stay again ( as long as it’s not on the ground floor 😉) really enjoyed our stay thank you 🙏

I arrived late to the hotel and stayed one night so it was a short stay. The room had a funky smell when i first entered it would definitely use some air freshener. I liked the balcony and the calm atmosphere.

  • 4/5 Elske H. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed at the hotel during low season. Highlights: - lots or parking space behind the hotel - lovely view from the balcony - 24/7 reception service - diverse breakfast - nice price - enough space in the room Downsides: - thin walls. Neighbours are easily heard - rooms are a bit outdated. Our shower hose had a tear in the back which drenched the whole room. Beds were a bit worn out too. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would surely come back 🤠
