Hotel on the beach, close to good clubs, bars and restaurants. The hotel facilities and especially the pools, are of a very high standard. The breakfast is rich and delicious. We were disappointed with the prices of the attractions and tours offered by the hotel as well as the prices of the spa. As hotel guests we thought we would receive more significant discounts and did not receive them.

Highly recommend the hotel, everything was perfect. Great location right on Paphos Promenade. The hotel has two excellent restaurants, it is worth booking in advance. Rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel's cleanliness and routine maintenance are of a high standard and it looks like the hotel was built yesterday. Must add that the staff are very courteous and I would especially like to thank Isabella from the guest service for the advice, and the care down to the smallest details that the holiday will be perfect.

Lovely hotel, great food, staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is gently heated which does make a big difference in may and before the very hot season begins. Also this hotel had a lovely playground for young kids, below about 8 years old, at the back right beside the coastline and harbour. I really enjoyed my stay here.

To me this hotel was disappointing. An hour after check-in time our rooms not ready and we are treated like I should just put up with it. The room itself is a nice size, the bathroom is tired and the bed rises up into the middle from the sides, okay, but its our first anniversay :). The taverna next to the sea was lovely and the staff were super efficient and the food was great, just watch the price of the 'sprecials'. Thank you to them for the glass of anniversary bubbly. We had a 'couples massage' that was really good with both of us enjoying 'knot removal', a very plush and happy experience. So, for me, it was a once off. The Almyra is expensive for what it is and for me its 4 star quality at best. The staff need more training and the place is tired. The manager here needs to stay at the Elysium, not only is it cheaper it would show him what 5 star quality is about. After the moaning, thank you for the anniversary bubbly, it was a nice touch and sorry that we didnt enjoy our stay as much as we could have done. Good luck

Such a great hotel!! 5 star hotel, on the beach with 3 swimming pools, 2 of which are heated during this time of the year. We came for our wedding weekend, we were upgraded to a sea view room. The rooms are big and spacious. With an amazing view. The stuff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, very large selection of everything. Several nice restaurants in the hotel (Asian and Mediterranean) Thank you for making this weekend so special :)

Perfect hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. The room was fully equipped and we could choose in which floor to have our room, what kind of pillows to have etc. The ladies in the spa were super friendly and helpful. You should try the fusion massage, the sauna and the steam room. Excellent location with breathtaking sunset.

Had a bad experience that was quickly remedied by the wonderful hotel staff! Checked in to our room and the room was not thoroughly cleaned - bad smell coming from the a/c, bed cover was damp, bar was wet, toilet tank was noisy upon refilling. It was an extremely humid day and I think the previous people left the terrace door open. When we spoke to Thomas, one of the managers, he helped to execute a room change and we were able to start our vacation swiftly. Beautiful hotel, great service, 10/10 would book again. Thank you Thomas!

Myself and partner went to Cyprus for a friend's wedding. They stayed at the Hotel and we were invited in for Drinks. The setting is absolutely lovely, the room my friends stayed in was awesome. Sea view for Sunrise and sunset. Cleanliness was outstanding. Lovely staff, really friendly and polite. Wished we had stayed there!!

We just arrived back from a magical 10 night break at the Almyra. We had a fantastic holiday and it ticked all the boxes. We stayed in the Aethon Premium Sea view room ( 321 ) which was lovely with a balcony and great views out to the sea and great sunsets. Me and my partner wanted to chill and take in the great surroundings this hotel had to offer and it delivered. We highly recomend this hotel for it's location to the habour and many resturants and bars close to hand. They have their own traditional Cypriot resturant called Ouzeri on the sea front serving traditionsl Cypriot food done right! Before I go on I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff as they were exceptional and made our stay so nice. But I want thank some staff personally for there exceptional service and they are a asset to the Almyra. 1)Nicoleta the breakfast host, she was out of this world and she always put a smile on me and my partners face every morning. Nothing was to little..what ever we needed was no problem. She was a joy to be around..I miss her already. 2)Nikos the pool host, he was also a joy to be around. So friendly and warm and always there if we needed anything. 3)Sumit the pool attendant, again his warm nature and kind heart. Always helping me to put our umbrella up and making sure we were ok. 4)Theodora and her twin sister the pool host. There smiling faces was a delight to see them around the pool and again always there if we needed them. 5) Savva the lifeguide. Making sure that everyone was ok but so lovely to talk to. 6) Maria the manager from the Ouzeri Resturant..Well what can I say..it was a real plesure to meet her. She welcomed me and my partner like we were family and she looked after us on both times we visited the resturant. She is so lovely with a warm heart..a Cypriot welcome that everyone deserves. Overall this hotel is a gem in paradise!!! Thank you Almyra for a great holiday we will be back. Befor I go I want to also highly recomend 3 resturants that we went to 1) 7 St. George's Tavern - Traditional Cypriot Food 2) Ficardo Resturant and Garden - International Mediterranean European Cypriot Food 3) Alea Allday Lifestyle - European, Sushi, Asian Food.

This eight-day holiday was a highlight of more than half a century of global travel. It was our second visit (the last coincided with the final week before Lockdown). The sea view rooms were as clean and comfortable as you would expect from a hotel of this quality. We were impressed each time by the universal friendliness of the staff and their notable readiness to help. Breakfast choices were abundant, enhanced by the pleasure of sitting under the bougainvillea in the morning sunshine, sipping excellent coffee, and attacking a plate of fruit or scrambled eggs, or fresh yoghurt with a choice of half a dozen local honeys - or all three. For lunch and dinner (we were half board), in addition to the excellent buffet, there is a choice of several restaurants within the Almyra or its next-door sister hotel, the Annabelle. For those on half board, they offer a set menu of two choices for each course, or a €28 discount for a la carte. We found the set menu more than adequate.. The hotel itself is set in superb grounds on the edge of the sea, with 180 degree views of through palm trees of the coast. There are three swimming pools and poolside service is as prompt and friendly as elsewhere in the grounds. This holiday ticked all the boxes.

Overall a really great hotel! Starting with a warm welcome at arrival, they help you with every issue or question - really nice Service (shoutout to Izabella!). Breakfast is great, too: offers many choices at high quality, including freshly prepared egg dishes (omlet, fried, poached, scrambled), very good coffee selection and fresh fruits. Rooms are very spacious, the pools are amazing, even though water Temperature is high. Free gym and Tennis court usage also great.

The hotel is great for relaxation, if you are not a parent you should definitely visit the adults-only pool. Location is spot on, 10 minutes walk to the port. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful at all times! As for the restaurants, I believe Notios is the best one by far.

Fabulous edgy modern design and fresh minimalist interiors overlooking beautifully landscaped gardens with fantastic sea views over Paphos harbor. A heavenly oasis in the heart of Paphos town, great service, facilities and F&B outlets, with easy access to the city's main attractions, and lively areas. That is my second stay within 4 years difference, A bit of uplifting and renovation is somehow overdue

This review is after our stay back in August 2022. Very modern looking hotel, good location to heritage sites & seafront and perfect views of the sunset over the bay. Only downside was our room. Granted we were upgraded to the "adult" part of the hotel from a sea view room to a veranda room at no extra cost which was brilliant though the 1st issue we had was the door locking mechanism wasn't secure, we could push the door open without the use of the key as the lock was slightly out of line with the frame. 2nd was the cold water tap not working. We also think the room hadn't been used in a while as the bathroom tiles were a bit grubby which easily rinsed off (though this is very minor complaint). Granted to the staff, we highlighted this to reception who immediately sent maintenance down to fix it straight away which was fantastic. The adults only pool was also a godsend, was nice being able to sit and relax by the pool without screaming children splashing about. Drinks here are pricey as you can imagine though nothing outrageous. Can't say much regarding the food, we only had breakfast each morning here which was fairly standard buffet setup. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

My wife, daughter and two young grandchildren and I .stayed at the Almyra recently on a seven night dinner, bed and breakfast package. Three of our family are vegans, and I really must commend Head Chef Fabrizio and his team for a wonderful selection of vegan options, with specially made vegan cake and delicious peanut butter and banana ice cream. Well done.

We've just spent ten days here and loved it. All staff have been attentive without being too much and all very friendly. Easy walk along the sea into Paphos town, with nice beaches a short walk in opposite direction. All restaurants in hotel were great, we stayed in April no issues with children, all quite well behaved and there are areas for just adults. Would certainly stay again!

Top quality 5 star hotel in an ideal location in Paphos to enjoy the local sites, restaurants, and bars. There is a real feel of quality at the hotel, with friendly staff, excellent food and all the facilities you need. The adults only pool area was a massive plus!

  • 5/5 Spyros T. 6 months ago on Google
My wife and I stayed there 4 months ago for a conference. This was a great selection. All the workers of the Almyra made this a 5 star hotel. The Mosaics restaurant, with it's Italian executive chef and terrific employees made us feel excited to enjoy the atmosphere with an occasional celebrity also dining next to us. The hotel is in the best location for walking access to the whole city and our view from our room was breathtaking. This was definitely the best vacation of our life. Thank you, Almyra!

  • 5/5 Matthias F. 6 months ago on Google
Certainly one of the top 3 hotels in Paphos. The interior of the rooms is a bit to simple for a 5 star hotel and most of the rooms are not facing the seaside but areas where workers or other guests are frequently passing, making it uncomfortable especially if you have a terrace room. The pool area and restaurants are outstanding, especially as the whole complex is facing west (great sunset views and more shade on hot days).

We had an amazing stay. Even though everything was amazing, I want to highlight the amazing staff that was working there. I never met so many friendly employees, who were attentive without being too much, always open for a quick chat, helpful with every question, with a really happy spirit and friendly professional attitude! The food at ouzeri was out of this world. We would always do back!!

Superb hotel. Staff so accommodating and polite. Pools gorgeous, food great and drinks perfect. Great location near water sports and marina. Also get to use the sister hotel Annabelle as well so double the pleasure. Recommend whole heartedly. 5*

Just returned from a 6 night stay here. All in all, a lovely hotel. The hotel itself is very nice & clean, the staff were great (really friendly). There is a variety of pools to choose from, plenty of sunbeds (never had an issue finding beds at any time of day), a lovely modern fitness suite / gym and the breakfast selection is fantastic. Only slight negative for us was the room - nothing wrong with it (was spacious and clean), but it wasn't a 5 star hotel room by any means. The starters the hotel advertises marble bathrooms in every room; ours wasn't. Ours was pretty dated. It did have a TV, coffee machine & each day they brought us complimentary water, so we are being slightly critical, but for the £ and the 5 star rating, we would expect a better room tbh (note some are nicer, we had inwards facing). But notwithstanding that, the whole stay was lovely & the overall facilities are superb & I would def recommend.

We just spent 11 night here and was blown away by the kindness and friendliness of the staff. From housekeeping to management everyone was very happy to see you and was willing to help out in any way. We booked a room facing inland , this was our mistake. Try and book a room with a sea/pool view as the main road runs parallel with the hotel and in the busy season this can be very noisy. The morning after we arrived we enquired about an upgrade with a sea view. After some deliberation the manager moved us across the hall to a lovely room overlooking the pool and the sea. We couldn’t have been happier. So we would like to thank them for their generosity. This hotel lovely, breakfast was plentiful and there are two pools to choose from along with a spar.. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Everyone greeted you with a ‘good morning’/ calimera. Every morning we were escorted to our table for two. Nicolleta ( I hope I’ve spelt her name right) was always there with a big smile and a joke or two. But we must say all of the breakfast crew were lovely and helpful. Poolside bar was a must everyday at around a mid day or when we got back from our adventures in our Hire car. At the press of a button a member of staff would call over to your sun longer and take your drinks/food order. A daily treat for us was a very cheeky cocktail,, sometimes two! We would like to say thank you to everyone at the Almyra in Paphos but a special hello and best wishes to our new friend Georgina at poolside. Her smile was a feast for the eyes. Thank all for your guests at 206 Paul&Cheryl.

Amazing stay in Paphos. Fast checkin and checkout, great sea views and location, delicious bar food and drinks. Markos who helped to take our luggage is very very nice! He showed us where to take good sunset photos :) We felt sincere warm service from every staff during the whole stay. Thank you all for everything!

Loved it. Great location, rooms in refurbished part of hotel were lovely, great facilities and staff. Landscaped gardens, mature trees, 4/5 pools, gym, choice of restaurants. Very relaxing place to stay and staff were very helpful.

An all round lovely hotel, ideal location as it's just a few minutes away from the busy night life of Paphos Town and Harbour. The buffet food for breakfast was really nice too. We would definitely recommend.

Very kind staff at the reception and in the restaurant. The view from the hotel, especially the infinity pool was just stunning. Additionally, the location of the hotel was good too. Nevertheless, the rooms wasn't that what I expected for 120€ per night

This hotel is absolutely stunning and serene. The gardens, pools, spa, restaurants, lobby area and the view of the sea from the veranda sea view room were all amazing and 5 star worthy. I have to be honest when I first entered my hotel room I was a bit underwhelmed at first, but on a second look around I loved it. However there are some things that require attention and the attention to detail is lacking a bit e.g. the bedspread looked very creased (could have been ironed) and some of the floor tiles are stained and require regrouting. In addition in my room the positioning of the shower head is a bit too far to the right which means to be directly under the shower your right arm ends up rubbing against the wall. These things are minor in the grand scheme of things but are things which can make for a truly 5 star experience. The one thing I do however think was less than 5 star was service. The hotel staff were helpful enough but there just wasn't the warmth I have experienced when I have stayed elsewhere. You can tell when someone is greeting you with a smile even with their mask on and some staff just seemed a bit militant. Not all but the majority. There was however one member of staff who stood out. I think his name was Andreas. He epitomised what I would expect from hotel staff (he worked in the mosaic restaurant). All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxed, tranquil stay because it is beautiful and the surrounding grounds and view are 5 star plus.

Stayed here with My wife and our 6 month old baby. Fantastic hotel, well managed & run. Stayed 10 days, then extended our stay by another 5 nights at the Anabelle next door ( almyra was full). We loved our stay here, great for family's, probably the best hotel in the area. Only feedback I could give would be to better manage the sun lounger situation, seemed like the 7am club was up everyday to claim their lounger, leaving a book & towel all day so they could sit in their spot when they got back a 3pm. On 3 days we couldn't get anywhere by the pool, despite many loungers not being "used". Staff were all fantastic, despite being chronically understaffed (post covid). Theo by the pool was lovely & brilliant. Restaurant caterers for baby's by blending fresh vegetables.

  • 5/5 Ben T. 2 years ago on Google
Stunning hotel. Lots of different pools each with different feel. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Close to town if you want to walk in to the harbour etc. Would 100% recommend.

  • 3/5 Juan Ignacio D. 2 years ago on Google
Amazing hotel, beautiful views. All staff should speak Greek other than English. I was eager to practise my Greek and I could not since it was mainly foreigners without the most basic Greek skills, let alone manners. Disappointing. I don’t want to think what locals think about this that they can’t speak their language in their country hotels…even in the hotel’s Cypriot tavern the staff would not speak Greek! Shocking! The manager should review this if they want to offer a proper Cypriot experience

  • 3/5 Panos M. 2 years ago on Google
The folks who work at the hotel are really nice and very professional. However, the rooms are definitely not 5 stars. Less than 4 stars. Very outdated climate control and guests cannot control the temperature in theit room which is a big issue when trying to sleep. The bedding is not great. Cheap mattress and wrinkled comforter. Low quality sheets.

Currently staying here and can’t believe how lucky we were to have booked this hotel. From the moment we arrived we knew we would have a great stay. Wonderful staff, amazing breakfast and a fantastic location. We would 100% return here and have been recommending to our friends and family!

We visited the hotel for the day and enjoyed the different facilities. It was beautiful! Four different types of pools, each for a different target group, food was delicious with a wide range of cuisines, and the staff was very welcoming and helpful! Laura, from guest services, showed us around the premises, and explained everything in detail. Definitely worth a visit, even if it’s just for the day! We will definitely stay a night next time!

Totally love this hotel, after the last couple of years we were in need of a holiday! It is a great hotel for the children and they had such a fun time, also plenty of places for the adults to relax and recharge too! The food is beyond amazing but the absolute best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are so helpful and kind and some have been there since the first time we visited back in 2012. Can't wait to go back!!!
