Loved our stay here. Beautiful and large resort, walking around and in the resort is very pleasant. The beach is good enough to enjoy and relax. The property is very neat & clean. We had the regular room, it was specious and had a large balcony facing towards the beach. Room & bathroom were clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. We ordered room service for breakfast and dinner, the ordering process and service was smooth and efficient. All staffs speak very good English. The check in & check out process was also quick. We had lunch in pool side cafe, food was good. We loved dining in the restaurant Mediterranio, nice view, friendly staffs, very good food and service. I recommend this resort and would love to go back.

We had been to this hotel in the month of March with a kid and an infant. We had chosen the family maisonette and it was super cozy! The entire experience was bespoke luxury and comfort... If you chose this hotel for your stay, leave the daily stress aside before you start your journey and be prepared to unwind into a beautiful experience. The breakfast spread has endless varieties and the staff is very professional and helpful. We did spend a lot of time on the property itself along with outdoor travel. It was a wonderful experience turned into a beautiful memory.

We absolutely fell in love with this hotel. The attention to detail and the dedication of the staff really impressed us. The staff in particular hit a perfect balance of being friendly and attentive whilst giving you time and space to enjoy your stay. The food was totally delicious and facilities impeccable. I have already recommended to my friends and family and hope to return myself soon! The only neutral comments I would make, from the perspective of a vegetarian was that the food at the buffet, particularly in the evening, was not clearly marked whether the dish was vegetarian or not. Where there was excellent cold vegetarian options, there were limited hot dish options that would constitute a main meal and not just vegetable side dishes. I would also liked to have seen an effort to reduce plastic waste. Lots and lots of single use water bottles, where maybe there could be filter water tap for reusable bottles. But undoubtable 5 stars overall, without hesitation. A huge thanks to all staff for making this holiday such a wonderful experience.

This is a fantastic hotel and probably the best one in Cyprus. It has everything from a small beach, to massive pools, to a great spa, to a choice of restaurants. Its also in walking distance of Tombs of the kings and Paphos. The rooms are really nice and the service is excellent. Food wise, I really liked the Oisin restaurant, but the Italian could have been better. The other food places were great and breakfast was probably the best selection I have ever seen in a hotel. How many hotels have different types of bacon for breakfast? I really liked the spa and the swimming pool here was a welcome break from being in the sun. Its a great location, with walks along the shore to Paphos and just up the road there is a range of shops, including car rental places. The only bad thing with the hotel was the music. If you want a quiet hotel, this is not for you. They have loud music every evening and during the day when there are weddings. Its a great family hotel and there is plenty for the kits including a kids play area. If you are going to Cyprus, I would certainly recommend the Elysium.

We have stayed here numerous times over the last 10 years. What we most appreciate about this hotel apart from the amazing sunsets and location in Paphos is the service. We always felt very welcome and taken care of here. On our recent visit the manager Cynthia stepped in and took care of the issues that came up and made our stay extra pleasant. The buffet restaurant has a good standard of food and the breakfast is one of the best in Cyprus, and believe me we have been to every single five star hotel on the island. We do feel this would be a good time that the rooms, corridors and spa are updated and renovated, especially the bathrooms that only have a bathtub are not very functional. We will be back.

Elysium is Paradise! The staff and service you receive is incredible. One of the staff, Costaz went above and beyond every day of our stay to ensure we were always comfortable, cool and propped up by the pool and beach. In fact, everyday he was friendly, informative and just lovely company to be around. The balcony bar in the evening was just as incredible. Room service was constantly refreshed for your ease and comfort. This hotel thinks about the guests always. And we really appreciated that attention to detail. Not many other 5 star resorts care and go the extra mile. But Elysium did! Can’t wait to stay again next year.

Stunning place. Great staff. We had the Garden Villa Pool. I thought it might be a little dated or small with 2 kids. But in fact it was incredible. I loved the room, we spend a lot of time in the plunge pool but enjoyed the other areas of the hotel too. The restaurants are also very nice. For us it was a little disappointed for our eldest as whilst there are kids club he thought they were too young for him, and wasn't able to meet any other similar age kids (not Elysium) fault at all. Just something to bear in mind, it was also so hot there (July in Cyprus is!) so we didn't fancy leaving. They are also in the process of returning a lost wallet of mine too. Very safe, relaxing, respectful and all in all in perfect holiday for a week.

An amazing hotel. Staff are all exceptional, friendly, helpful, polite. Beautiful building and grounds. Very good for children, there is a supervised playroom filled with high quality toys and very clean, heated outdoor and indoor swimming pools, not too warm, just right. A beautiful playground that my daughter spent a good hour or more playing in at a time. The food was all delicious, all the meat was tender and cooked to perfection, the range of vegetables and breads, desserts and meats was very wide and all just perfectly prepared. My only regrets are that my belly is small and that we didn't spend longer at the hotel. At night there was a local band playing traditional gentle Cypriot acoustic music with one of the name members singing. Simply divine. Also there were dancers performing a gentle traditional dance alongside the music. It really was beautiful. I think this is the best hotel along the whole southern coast of Cyprus. I strongly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing hotel with great amenities and in a great location. Paphos is filled with historical locations and so much wildlife.

Very nice and beautiful decorated hotel. Service is remarkable. Few things to note: drinks including water at dinner are in charge. Not enough kids attractions- there is a kids club for some hours and a movie/party in some of the nights. No music at the pools. Training and sport lessons are only in early morning when the kids club is not open. Nappy changing station only at woman restroom (at least at some points) so my husband could not change a dirty diaper to our baby and was asked not to enter to ladies room to do it.

Really wish I could give this hotel 5/5 however there were some quality issues and claims which didn't live up. Private beach hotel is really a view of the sea but not really an accessible beach area to relax. All rooms have luscious views is another claim, however the view from my room was a large concreted area. Ordered what looked like a luxury cocktail from the bar menu (~€17) which looked absolutely nothing like the picture. There was no water bottles in the room after the first day which was an inconvenience. Having said that, the grounds are amazing, very well kept and clean with lovely views. There is ample comfortable seating throughout the hotel. Room kept with the deluxe description and all staff were absolutely outstanding. Buffet food was of the highest quality every single day and probably the best buffet range I have had! Reception and restaurant staff were really friendly and extremely helpful and attentive. I required emergency dental treatment which receptionist quickly arranged an appointment for, including transfer. Location is perfect with shopping mall and archeological site seeing all within walking distance. Airport was only 20 minutes away

Great hotel, loved how accommodating and helpful they all try and be. Really made our toddler feel special- buffet dinner restaurant Manager (so sorry to forget your name), waitstaff George and Andrea. Front desk check in Manager, amazingly helpful and kind. A few issues - coffee, took way too long at breakfast to get everyday, hallway carpets pretty stained, toilet had poop in it when we entered room. Again, not easy to run a place like this, all did their best and we appreciated that on a holiday. We are thinking of coming back annually actually and making it a family tradition.

Had a fabulous stay at Elysium Hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. We’ll definitely re-visit when we go back to Cyprus. Mediterraneo Restaurant had a lovely sea-side vibe and food was delicious 😋.

Grand hotel Cyprus. A perfect sun escape 😉. For the rooms only recommendation is not to skip and take full sea view instead of partial.partial seaview also comes with partial parking lot view. We were upgraded for small fee at reception. Rooms are very comfortable and have great soundproof glass. Breakfast is busy but with huge choice and plenty of seating options. Staying for relaxing week is recommended option. Family friendly but it was more of 50+ resort when we visited in November. And that's perfect 😂

Very nice hotel. Parking spaces directly on the hotel premises. Reception perfectly organized. Rooms well clean and neatly furnished. There is one drawback with breakfast: there is too much unrest and you can't enjoy it. During breakfast inside, the air conditioning is set too low. Breakfast itself is good and the selection is extensive. We didn't try the restaurant. All in all we can recommend the hotel.

In the words of Tina Turner, “Simply The Best”! Elysium hotel is simply the best, full stop! The attention for details in this hotel is simply astonishing! The staff are constantly aiming to please you! When a staff member thanks you for being allowed to take a finished plate off your table, you then realize you’ve come the right place when it comes to customer satisfaction. As soon as you enter this marvelous hotel, you are taken into a little piece of heaven and are even capable of forgetting the current stressful situation “Covid-19” even though they absolutely follow strict guidelines by having all staff members wear face masks. This hotel is so beautifully built and every little detail has been thought of when it comes to providing maximum comfort for all their guests. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the fact that the entire hotel has Molton Brown all over the lavatories and you get Molton Brown bottles in your room. Since we celebrated our anniversary there, they simply surprised our room with complementary bottle of champagne and box of chocolates. The pool area is so peaceful throughout the entire day and lovely cocktails can be ordered from the pool bar to wherever you are around the pool area even when you are actually in the pool :) The breakfast buffet is also amazing with such a vast selection of food, juices and coffees. We will definitely be returning to this magical resort. The only constructive criticism I might have is, improve your Wi-Fi signal throughout the hotel area, and I would have liked to see a duvet bed cover as opposed to a light blanket.

We had a lovely stay at Elysium hotel. We used the spa and indoor pool. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Great location with restaurants nearby and short walk to Tomb of the Kings. Unfortunately the weather was not great for us to enjoy the beach and outdoor pools but we were able to take in the beautiful views from our room!

We've just returned from a week at the Elysium. It was our first time in Cyprus. The whole experience of staying at the Elysium was amazing. The staff really make it, special mention to George, Maria, Marina, Tatiana and Marios in the restaurant and the cleaners who looked after our room (4022). They are so polite, friendly and always greeted with a smile. Always looking at ways to help you. I've never experienced anything quite like it. The hotel was spotlessly clean, we stayed half board and the food is plentiful, good quality and a great choice both at breakfast and the evening meal. The pool areas are great, sun loungers lovely - we managed to get a spot by the pool and other days on the Elysium’s private beach. We swam in the sea and watched the amazing sunset each night! The bedroom was a great size, really big comfy bed, nice balcony, views stunning over the pools, Royal Villas and the sea. It really is a special place. I won't hesitate in recommending it to friends. Hopefully we will return soon. The location is great, only a 30 minute walk down the coastal path to the harbour, we did this walk each morning before breakfast, the morning sun was lovely. We also had an evening stroll to the harbour and walked past the other hotels on the strip, which are very nice, but I’m glad we choose the Elysium. Can’t wait to return and please pass on our regards to your amazing staff!

We've had an amazing stay. Hotel Is fabulous, staff super friendly and very accommodating. Restaurants 5star. We especially liked the Fusion and Italian. It was just a shame about the weather 😞 cloudy with sunny spells. A little chilly at times. I highly recommend Lucy in the salon for wash and blow dry. She is an excellent stylist and brilliant if you want a quick blow dry 👍

Fantastic hotel, 100% recommend. One of the best we’ve stayed in. All the staff from front desk, concierge, waiters, cleaners are just so so friendly. Pool area is stunning and the beds overlooking the sea are lovely when it’s too hot you get a nice breeze.

This is possibly the best vacation we've ever had. Immaculate service - every single member of the staff. Hotel is extremely well maintained - super clean, including the room of course. Food - delicious and the variety is incredible. I'd give it six stars if I could. Perfect!

We didn't stay at the hotel, but got a day pass for the spa, on the day we had to check out of our apartment but had evening flights, so needed something to do for 10+ hours while we had luggage with us. Cannot recommend doing this enough if you have a similar situation. The staff were brilliant with communication by email prior to our visit, and so friendly and helpful while we were there. Day pass cost €45, which was well worth spending a day in the outside pool, sun loungers and jacuzzi and storing our luggage somewhere safe. A fantastic, relaxing day!

My boyfriend and I spent 5 days at Elysium and it was amazing! The hotel, views, pools, and room were all beautiful. The real stand out was the staff. The staff always made us feel comfortable and welcomed and took great care of us. As a vegan, travelling can be a challenge but Elysium made it so easy. I had lots of options. Specifically, the buffet manager, Andreas, always made sure I knew what was available to me and offered to have meals made for me. I never felt like an inconvenience. We can't wait to come again!!!

Got a day pass for the hotel as we checked out of other accommodations in the morning and our flight wasn’t until late at night. Glorious day spent by the pool, overlooking the sea. Excellent food and facilities. Best customer service I’ve ever experienced.

I leave a lot of google reviews as I visit places so try to keep it balanced. Had a lot of hassle when trying to swap our room as it wasn't as described. 2 hours hanging around, not good. Was offered a bottle of wine as a goodwill gesture but it never arrived. Other than that it's a beautiful hotel and very much look forward to going back. Lots of original artowrk and sculptures too that i really enjoyed. Plenty of staff on hand everywhere and nothing too much trouble for them Be very aware of the view from your room when booking if its important to you.

Today we visited the hotel as guests from outside, a cafe environment with outdoor seating. The lady at the service was perfect, smiling and pleasant. The overall impression and environment was intimate, the drinks and salad excellent. We will definitely come again! ☺️

We totally relaxed in this beautifully und tastefully designed place. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. Really exceptional! For our little son (1.5 years old), there was excellent care at the creche with Rachel and Heather and he really had a good time too. Thanks, again! We will definitely come back.

Beautiful hotel with fabulous food and such kind and attentive staff. Lots of good facilities. Too many children by half but that’s our fault for coming in August. If you don’t like screaming kids then avoid the holidays and enjoy the luxury of this great hotel when they’re at school. If you have sprogs of your own, this is a very child-friendly environment. The beach and snorkelling wasn’t brilliant. Better sea at Paphos harbour. Pathos itself isn’t anything to write home about hence I’ve marked down location. I need to emphasise just how wonderful the staff were. The service was exemplary.

Outstanding service awareness. room with a view of the pool and the sea is highly recommended! A delicious and varied breakfast. the hotel is very nicely decorated, many places to sit near the pool and the sea. Lunch at the hotel is delicious but not so cheap. Unfortunately the beach is dirty and not maintained. Other than that - an amazing hotel with the best service I received! A highly recommended experience. Also, high level cleaning services - come twice a day to clean the rooms.

Stayed for several days and we loved this hotel! ROOM is clean, with nice bathroom. We had the smoothest check-in with the gentleman's help. (He helped our checking out, too) POOL is nice, as you can see on the web. They also have beach chairs on the ocean side. You can see a beautiful sunset with a few people around. Restaurants and kiosk are within walking distance from the hotel. SPA treatment was very relaxing, though the therapist was late & didn't receive a full-time massage. The appointment confirmation says we may not receive the full-time treatment if WE are late. Not them :(

An amazing hotel! This gorgeous property is located in Paphos. We were so delighted when we got to our suite. Spacious and perfectly furnished and has a stunning swimming pool and ocean view from the balcony. There was a complimentary bowl of fruits and a bottle of wine on the coffee table waiting for us. A lot amenities in the hotel. Wished we had more time to explore them all. We did go to the adult only pool which is private and peaceful. Their buffet breakfast is located in the restaurant on the ground floor. Huge and great selection. There was live music on the terrace at night. We had a proper in-room dining on one of the nights. Lovely setup and we had dinner in our own comfort with the stunning sunset. Customer service was excellent. Staffs were all so friendly, helpful and efficient. We had a fantastic time at this hotel.

As a Cypriot i felt PROUD of the service and the atmosphere of this hotel. The staff has an amazing behavior to us and all the guests. I saw guests enjoying the way staff behaved. The breakfast had everything you could want. I saw a man working there singing on the guests and make so tasteful jokes to them. Also a staff named George was so nice and helpful to us! i would love to congratulate the MANAGENT of choosing these persons! Keep them happy they all make an amazing work!

Amazing hotel, one of the best I’ve ever been to. The service is great and the staff is super helpful and kind. The food is also very good, and there are a lot of options to choose from (a few restaurants, bars and a cafe). The only thing I would suggest is to add more activities and attractions for kids. I think they can also invest a bit more in entertainment in the evenings.

  • 5/5 Julia B. 5 months ago on Google
We have just returned from our second stay at the Elysium, we were not disappointed. Everything was as good as we remembered, the breakfast buffet is fantastic, the service at the Occidental terrace is friendly but professional with good food and the room was comfortable and well equipped. The hotel does not offer "traditional" hotel entertainment of an evening thank goodness, instead there is live music most evenings which we enjoyed. We stayed in a Royal Studio with garden view which is adults only and means you have access to the adults only pool just for the 12 rooms in this block, whilst sitting around the pool they bring a complimentary soft drink cocktail in the morning and fruit plate late afternoon which is a nice bonus. The immediate area is fine with a number of small mini markets for supplies and some restaurants and bars but for great food I'd recommend taking a taxi to Paphos old town where the locals eat. We had a fantastic holiday and will certainly be back for stay number 3.

  • 4/5 Richard L. 5 months ago on Google
Beautiful hotel and grounds, and lovely choice of top notch restaurants. Everything very clean, and we ate and drank very well, if you're willing to pay the price. Only negative comment would be about the service, which we found to be very slow, especially in the pool bar and main bar, and at the reception. There never seemed to be any kind of urgency which is not what I would personally expect from a 5* hotel. The mini bar in the room was also routinely not restocked, and they charged a large fee for room service even if ordering beers that should have been in the mini bar. Overall a brilliant holiday, which was not spoiled by the above points. Food and drinks were all excellent and the pool area was a lovely place to relax.

  • 3/5 Jennifer F. 5 months ago on Google
Don't let them fool you by the rooms. We booked a sea view room (not a partial sea view room!) and we received this view from our room. This is not a five star service, this is an attempt to fool the guests who even paid for more... And yes, we mentioned it at the reception and had a discussion about "sea view". 😅 Update: After complaining about the view, we were given a room with a frontal sea view, which was fine. We spent a total of one week at the hotel. The breakfast is a classic English breakfast. We were confused why there are so many good reviews regarding the richness. It is nothing special and the selection is normal. The selection was never changed. We are used to other breakfasts from 5 star hotels. In the morning there are often queues at peak times at the entrance and also at the egg station. The evening buffet is much better equipped and tasty. With the staff, it depends on the individual. With some you get a smile, some seem as if they would rather be somewhere else. We would especially like to highlight the bellboys. There we were always greeted with a lot of sincere friendliness and attention. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you are wrong with a Sea View room or suite. There is loud music EVERY evening from 7pm to 11pm. So loud that you can not even play over the music and sleep before 23 clock is not to think of. There are different tastes, but you have no choice. Cooled towels are handed out to the guests at the beach. Unfortunately, always everyday only at 11 am, which means we have unfortunately never got any. If you do not leave the room before 1 pm, you get a note on the door that the room will not be cleaned during the day. Only in the evening for turndown. By the way, also non hotel guests come to the beach and lay down on the hotel's own sunbeds.

Staying at the Elysium hotel was among the highlights of my summer holidays! This hotel deserves the 5 star rating! Our room was sparkling clean, tidy and we had such a nice view! We've been to Cyprus numerous times over the years but never stayed at the Elysium before. It must be one of the finest hotels on the west side of Paphos, both by decor and service. The staff are friendly and polite, food at the Breakfast buffet amazing and hotel facilities excellent (such as the Gym and Spa). Rooms are clean, tidy and the beds comfortable. There's a good selection of English and foreign TV channels (including domestic UK BBC and ITV), staff also provide a nightly 'turn down' service. If you expect luxury and decent clientele then the Elysium is recommended.

We have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed with the hotel, the food or the wonderful staff. It's a lovely oasis of a place at the end of the broadwalk from the harbour. It's in a quiet position but with so many excellent restaurants in the hotel, you are almost self contained.

This was a very nice hotel very large and spread out the breakfasts were excellent and the buffet evening meals had a vast selection, the views onto the pool complex from breakfast with the flowing water and fountains were lovely too. Gym was very good with 2 rooms and lots of high tech kit, but no free weight Olympic bar but lots of bar bells and machines that had QR codes to download tour workout!!! Classes in the yoga studio every morning too. The porters were so very helpful not over the top but really helpful. This was a lovely place.

Incredible place with very high service level and comfort at all zones - reception, room, restaurants, pools, spa, gym. Staff very friendly, welcoming and responsive. Any problem solved immediately and easy, with smile. You are welcomed guest at this hotels, you really feel that. It was amazing holiday for us, we will definitely come back. We already have "our place" at Paris, Rome..... now we have "our place" at Cyprus - Elysium Hotel. The quality and comfort really valuable for us and this is definitely our place.

This was easily the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The cleanliness was outstanding, every corner was spotless. Everything about this hotel was of the highest standard, the service, facilities, the passion and work ethic of the staff was nothing short of exceptional. The breakfast selection was great and always fresh, I always looked forward to it every morning. We had dinner twice at the O'Shin restaurant, both visits gave us a magical and unforgettable experience. Yiannis's recommendation of the perfect wine paired with our menu was truly a marriage in the mouth. George was so attentive and ensured we were taken care of. I felt so valued and well looked after. The porters especially made me feel like at home, they always made sure we were okay and their warm greetings always brightened up my day. I cant wait to come here again.

This was a great and relaxing experience for my whole family. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and the food was simply outstanding. There is lots of activities to partake in including two tennis courts and it is in a convenient area near many attractions. This hotel is one of the best in Cyprus and I strongly recommend staying here.

The hotel is located near the sea, close to restaurants and bars. There's a shuttle to the city twice a day ay 10:00 and at 13:00 Great and very comfortable rooms, great and rich breakfast. The pools are very nice, very beautiful gardening and everything is clean and spotless. The hospitality is outstanding and the service is very good. Definitely recommended.

I have visited many hotels in Cyprus by this one was the BEST by far. Everything was amazing! The premises, the staff, the food, the service. The breakfast was impressive. Impossible to try everything! The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Choices of restaurants with high quality tasty food. If you decide to have your holidays in Cyprus this is the choice you should make for your accommodation!!

Booked a week in the Elysium. At our arrival they couldn’t find our booking and we had to wait approx 30 min. Then all went fine and they offered us a bottle of white local wine which was a nice gesture and upgraded our room. The side seaview is not really nice. Cannot see anything. Went to the swim-bar which was great with a fantastic service. Kudos to the team. The hotel owned beach itself is not nice, I would even say it’s not a beach. They have a footbridge we’re you can walk and jump into the sea. Breakfast is nicely decorated and also tasty if you know what to take. All in all we had a nice stay but a bit sad not to have a sandy beach at the hotel. Tip: rent a car at the airport (do not book online the extra insurance, it’s a rip-off, book it instead at the renting company itself) and discover the island.

Amazing trip! The staffs attentiveness was outstanding. The food was incredible. The overall vibe was simply beautiful. One member of staff David, worked for the pool side bar was great! The property stretches right down to the sea which was lovely! 10/10.

The Elysium resets all my expectations for a great hotel. The hotel is immaculate and the design is consistent and graceful, with wonderful facilities that never feel crowded. The restaurants on site are magnificent (I especially enjoyed the Restaurant Bacco, and Luigi is the best host!). Expect to be impressed and then just a bit more too - little touches like staff remembering your name and welcoming you by sight come from the heart. Such a wonderful, relaxing and genuine hotel. Thank you to Chris and his team for a memorable stay and for all the care and attention they showed. Superb!

The hotel is simply amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I loved the spa, the available complimentary pilates, yoga etc classes. The gym is equipped perfectly. The food, the service are outstanding. The hotel was not overcrowded in November, so it is a perfect time for a couple to come and relax as the weather is still very nice. Cannot wait to be back next year.

Excellent place to stay. We came with a one year old and the staff were so thoughtful and accommodating. They provided us with a cot, baby bath and even a sponge and washing up liquid to wash our baby bottles. We were celebrating a special occasion and they went above and beyond to ensure our celebration was special. The breakfast buffet is also great with a wide variety to choose from. Highly recommend staying here.

Holidays are about making memories. For the Elysium's friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Occasionally things didn't go as planned and the staff did exceptionally to put them right. The restaurants were lovely (esp. O Shin, which has an idyllic setting), the pools were good fun for the kids, Miriam in guest relations organised some truly memorable experiences and the spa was lovely (I went twice). In the evening there was live music to enjoy from the terrace. Thoroughly recommended for families
