I stayed at hostel 1 night in december. It was extremly cold at night and two blankets didn’t help at all! I had to put on my termo clothes, hoody and jacket with wind protection. Only after wearing all there things I could fall asleep, but it was 4 a.m. already. It was mentioned on the Booking.com website that we can pay 6€ for a air conditioner additionally. However, when I saw two blankets I thought it would be enough. It was terriblw night and just one good blanket could fix it! P.S.Attaching photo of my pajamas!

I have entered place waiting for the check in, when I asked for glass of water, receptionist said "We don't sell glass of water!", I have walked away and later when it was time to go in a room he asked money for air-conditioning 6€ per day. After my complain even if I agree to pay he told me "You have bad attitude, I want to cancel your vacation!". Later on I was on street missing my meeting and try to found way to refund and place to stay. On the end I was take other hotel's room for almost double the price.

Great location in the centre close to all we needed. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool was great. Very easy going and relaxed atmosphere in the hotel.

Such a lovely stay from the moment we turned up till the moment we left. Staff are superb, Vlad the barman looked after us as did all the other staff. Clean rooms, pool area is lovely, good food, not overpriced. Would love to revisit

I would go back to this lovely hotel again fingers crossed I won't have to wait to long. The staff were friendly and helpful the rooms, pool and pool area were clean as was the reception and bar area's. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and Julie shows you where everything is on your first morning and if you need help any other morning. We didn't eat in the evening restaurant but we will on our next visit ( I think it was because our stay was only for a few days for a family wedding ). Lots to do in Paphos Cyprus and a boat trip is a must, the harbour is lovely. Bus fare is really good and you can get a day rider which you can use up to nine o'clock at night. Taxi fare is really good if there is a group of you it's even better. It's only twenty minutes from the airport by taxi to the Tasmaria hotel. Hotel staff only to happy to answer any questions you have. The only thing we weren't told about was that the 15th of August is a public holiday and most places were closed would of saved us a journey and money. Just been reading some of the other reviews and I've always paid for air conditioning at hotels I've stayed in, its never been FREE! and it costs €30 a week which is about right.

There last month. No complaints at all. Staff very helpful. Especially Kristina, who we liked very much. Big down side, we were in apartment at left hand side of hotel, no security. Three of us were robbed one night after the other. After the first incident every one should have been made aware, but no notice handed out. Second hit was a young couple. Who had there room ransacked, passports and money stolen. We were robbed on the night before we left. They came in while we were in the flat packing in the bedroom. We noticed things had been stolen first thing. Went to reception at 08:00, no management on until 10:00 am. So when bar closes. At 1:00 am, there is no one to go to in an emergency. So beware if you stay there. Lock everything away in the safe. Leave nothing lying around of value. You just never know who's watching.

Lovely hotel. From the minute we arrived, the staff were helpful and couldn’t do enough. The room was spacious with everything you need! The air con you can purchase is easy to work and works amazing. Lovely location of the hotel too, in the midst of all the restaurants and bars - and only a 15 minute walk from the harbour where lots more are. Again, the hotel is lovely as are the staff. Will definitely be staying there if we return to Cyprus!

Ok so here we are... We stayed in the hotel for nine days in October/November. Couple 45yo. With lots of hotels visited in the past around the world form 2* to 5* resorts I must say this. For the price it is outstanding. Obviously you get what you pay for and this is not 5* resort. For rated 3* I would highly recommend this place. Apartament was specious with lots of room for a couple. Very clean and this is most important to us. I have been working with hotels for many years on the HK and Spa ground so I know where to look at. HK staff did excellent job to maintain our apartment day after day. So big thank you to the HK ladies. Pool is very well maintained as I mentioned working in SPA business I know a bit about it. Some ppl were complaining about chlorine smell but guys... It means that pool machinery works a treat keeping water clean, clear and pretty much safe. It is difficult to Ballance chemicals in order to get this result. Even though we visited Paphos for the beach we stayed 2 days by the pool relaxing on the sunbeds - very comfortable and with sun blinds if needed. Water in Oct/Nov was around 23-25°C depands on the day and how strong sun was. So very pelasent to cool down when sunbathing. Hotel is by the main road, but this not affected quality of stay and tranquillity by the pool as the hotel structure is blocking road noise. Surroundings: Just few minutes walk to King's Tombs - must see - 615 bust stop to Coral Bay across the road - which also must see - or 10min walk to the Venus Beach which was lovely as well. Pubs? Plenty. Our fav was Pit Stop with lovely evening entertainment, live music or karaoke nights. Want more? 20min to the Bar Street with lots of places to visit. We also went to Historical Site by the port - must see too. So overall great location and always short distance to many places. Would I return? Yes. Definitely we want to return to Tasmaria and also we will be recommending this place. Thank you guys for your hospitality!

This hotel has seen better days, but you can't beat that price and everything functions. Rooms have a functional kitchen and a noisy fridge (ours did). Once outside, there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

Super nice and clean. Stayed only for a night. The staff was very helpful, Jude, he's a keeper.

Good hotel for the price! Some things need an update. When the sun goes down, the hot water goes down with it. The hot water is warmed with the sun. When it is finished, you have to wait another day. ^^ Which is fine for me. Friendly staff.

Very spacious room. Few issues with the toilet eventually sorted. Cleaning services everyday. The atmosphere is not so nice. Staff not friendly 😞 The situation is nice next to a very nice restaurant. Cocos, amazing food. The price is good and the staff is so friendly. There's many more. Long the strip. Avoiding the Chinese restaurant is an absolutely awful and expensive lot of work going very noisy early in the morning at 7.30 .

Run down very overrated place. Went back in May our room was outdated old furniture and dirty. The bathroom light made a drilling ear piecing noise, which we addressed next day and credit given they did sort. The shower curtain was dirty. The shower temperature was an issue with it being cold then boiling. The beds being twin when we asked for a double room were rock hard with old bedding and an old throw on top. The room had ants with the room being so run down and dirty we did not bother using the facilities as we just wanted out. Cleaners rude only changed our towels once all week, bedding never was changed. We asked to change rooms but not available even though the hotel was half empty. The view from our balcony was a muddy dug up road with diggers making noise from 6am. The pool had flies in the deep end and the Sun lounges had cigarettes ends wedged down the sides. The late check out shower room was even worse than our room. The bed was dirty, shower again temperature issues, bin in bathroom dirty and covered in rust. Stopped in better hostels for 20 pound a night.

The apartment was spacious and had everything you need, but there was no hot water in the shower. It was also quite cold in the apartment in the evening and we didn’t have an air conditioning control. The pool was great!

Very disappointed on arrival, but it was 10pm, and been travelling all day. In daylight, the place is a cross between Hi de Hi, and a prison camp. So 1970’s. The bed was extremely hard. Aircon was €8 per day extra. No view whatsoever from the room. No food at the bar, apart from Toasties. The only lager on draft was local. There was a Krombaka pump, but they didn’t sell it ! People have praised how clean the apartments were. Not mine. The work tops were not wiped down, and the Underside of the Toilet seat was not cleaned in 5 days . Not good. You cannot even take a bottle of water down to the pool. It has to be bought at the bar, or not at all, and there are many reminders of this ! Last , but not least, the showers were DANGEROUS . There is a problem with the cold water supply. It surges. That’s ok in a sink,(no plugs to found!) but the Hot water is Scalding, so in the Shower, it goes from warm to RED HOT, without warning. Drinks at the bar are Expensive. This is not manned all the time. You have to ring the bell, and someone will eventually come. This all sounds very negative, and I realise that. So let’s balance it up a bit. It is in a Fabulous location. Turn left, or turn right, you have an amazing choice of bars and Restaurants. You are on a bus route, so you can go up to Coral Bay, off down to the Town centre. Nearest beach is 10 min walk away. Maybe not the prettiest, but others are not far away. Loads of Car Hire places, and not expensive either.

Absolutely love this place! The owner Taz is lovely as are all the staff! The apartments are so clean and everyone is so friendly too! We'll definitely be staying there next year! Didn't want to leave!

Beautiful the only thing we booked a ground floor but got a first floor apartment of which we had difficulties getting our cases up the stairs and no one to help . The apartment was basic but very clean the staff lovely and the manager let my family use the pool for the afternoon as they live in akrotiri of which was very nice of him

Very unkind and unpolite receptionist, he spoke like he was always in a hurry, like he was annoyed at being asked very simple questions. The hotel doesn't provide dishwashing soap or shower gel, you have to pay extra money if you want to use the air conditioning. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Excellent location excellent staff lovely pool, lovely comfortable bed and sitting room, only downside was not enough towels and no tea towels and no plugs for bath or sink, other than that a fantastic time was had by both of us.

Stayed overnight due to flight cancellation. Spacious room, restaurants nearby, great location near Lighthouse beach. Friendly & accommodating staff. Well worth it.

We are a group of 4 and booked two rooms via booking at TASMARIA APARTHOTELS. The check in started at 2pm and we arrived at almost 3pm only to find out that they couldn’t find our booking. We waited at the reception for about 20 minutes which caused us irritation, considering that there were no fans or Air-conditions and we were sweating. Then they finally let us know that they found our reservation and that only one room was ready. We agreed to leave our things in the one room and come later for the other key but we raised our concerns regarding the lack of organisation and the lack of air-conditions. The response from the employee was that we are very rude and that we shouldn’t come at him with this complaint because he is not the owner. Then we asked where is the owner and he kept telling us that he will come later and that we are rude and don’t know how to behave while shouting at us. After that we went to the room which was ready only to find out that the aircondition was malfunctioning. Then we went downstairs to ask for the other key and there was a huge confusion because they didn’t know which room they owed us they key for. This took about 10-15minutes. Then we informed them about the aircondition and they told me they would look into it. They called me when i was away to let me know they checked and fixed the aircondition. When we got to the hotel the aircondition was still malfunctioning. Before we left again, we went to the reception to tell them again about the aircondition and the manager was there. I kept telling him that no cold air was coming out and he told me that there was nothing wrong it and that it was all in my head. After prompting them they agreed to bring us fans. Then my friend tried to inform him of the incident that happened before but he refused to hear what we have to say and said “You visited the cheapest hotel in Paphos what do you expect?”. He also said that if he was there earlier and heard our complaints he would kick us out. Lastly, they asked in which room we need the fans in and we told them in 515 and the manager realised that he checked the A/C in the wrong room. We received no apology overall and the whole experience was very bad because everyone working there was very rude. Although the rooms were very big and clean we won’t go there again. There was no wifi in the room.

From first arriving everything was very clean and staff very friendly. Couldnt ask for nicer staff. Any problems were sorted straight away. Beds were comfortable, linen very clean. I was on crutches on our visit and they were all checking I was OK and if I needed anything. The only thing that let it down was the fact that there was no food available but there are plenty of places around. Will definitely be back x

Just want to say that it's the best stay for me. Rooms are clean, spacious and beds comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped with tools except spices and detergent for washing the dishes. Staff is really kind and pool is clean for swimming. I really like it and deserves 10 stars...

The rooms interior is really nice with very bright rooms and friendly personell

All was o.k. however no warm water. Even long running (10 minutes) did not improve the temperature.

We are staying here right now. Room 322. The smell of stale smoke is horrible and the room is so so cold, I guess this will be reversed in the summer but for the winter this is not good. Main light in bedroom doesn’t not work and neither does the cooker. Pool is out of use. Wouldn’t recommend in winter at all .

No airconditioner, at least you have to pay for it, i Guess its even worse, once that said no need more details. Dont stop there
