Beautyful rooms, very nice stuff. There are 2 huge outdoor pools, they are not heated. There is an indoor pool and a jacuzzi. The garden and the pools looks great. The breakfast very delicious, and variety. There are many friendly cats. We really love it.

We stayed for 10 nights. Always stay in 4 star or more. Hotel is adequate, decorating going on during our stay which was not ideal when navigating through corridors. Sunbeds were a nightmare, many people reserve them, we observed many families reserving some by both pools which meant not enough for everyone else, this really did hinder our holiday. We spent 3 days sitting at a table and chairs with 3 small children as there were no sunbeds. Many resorts we have stayed at manage this much better and some have a sunbed allocation system in place. Food was great as was the service of staff. Entertainment poor, kids mini disco goes on at peak time making dinner times noisy, best night was karaoke and the guests provided the entertainment. Rooms very basic, clean and tidy but nothing that excels them, we had 2 single beds instead of a double which was disappointing for a 4 star family deluxe room. Location is a short walk from the harbour but surrounded by homeless and not a great area. Overall an adequate hotel, in our opinion not 4 star compared to other 4 stars we have stayed at.

I recently visited here with my family and I all I can say is what a great hotel. We arrived early hours in the morning greeted with sandwiches which I thought was a lovely touch showed to our rooms which were very clean. The facilities are brilliant with 3 swimming pools including a children's only pool, table tennis and pool table. The gym is good don't expect Golds gym but it does the job if you use your imagination. The spa depends on what you're looking for my partner wasn't a fan but give it a try. Now the when you go all inclusive you think eat in then maybe eat out but the food here is great its fresh tasty and food for all meat eaters vegetarians or vegan. I didn't hear one person moan about the food. They have a kids section so they can see the food and pic for their own. The entertainment team was brilliant getting people involved laughing all of them have great individual talents. The staff are so hopeful from top to bottom always smiling helping talking we had a small issue and they were great went out of their way to help above and beyond. We had a great ten days thank you.

We stayed at the hotel in early July & had a lovely time! There are plenty of pools & the layout means you are never far from any facilities, although as usual you’ll need to be up around 6am to “secure” a sun bed! Ash on the entertainment team did a fantastic job & the food was also brilliant…very fresh considering it is all inclusive!

Nice hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is very good. We had one of their swim up rooms and it was worth the extra price, as it meant we didn’t have to join the early morning scramble for the sun beds . (There are plenty available but people still seem to feel they need to pick them before breakfast)

Nice hotel and great location for the harbour. Swimming pools were very cold in November and hotel was shutting down for the winter. Great service from the staff

After 18 months of lockdown the hotel was perfect both for overindulgence, and relaxing in equal measures. Staff were honestly really happy to look after you and made the stay very enjoyable. Perfect !

Great hotel. Rooms are spotlessly clean staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great location with only a 5 minute walk into the harbour. Pools and spotless and you could get a sunbed any time of day! Will defiantly be back

We are currently staying at the Sofianna and OMG this hotel is going to take some beating! It is amazing..the rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful, we have a swim up room and it is definitely worth the extra money. The pool area is clean and tidy. The food is delicious especially the desserts which are to die for!! But seriously, the staff make this hotel what it is..they're so friendly, professional and so hard working! They're fantastic, I hope they get the recognition they deserve. Everyone is so lovely right from the housekeepers to management. We will definitely be back to the Sofianna.

Me and my wife just got back from sofianna and We absolutely loved the resort, the food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are really great quality very clean and very modern! We had a great view with the pool balcony room view. The location is perfect everything walking distance! The only slight disappointment was that we went on our honeymoon and no one acknowledged it at the resort or made it special for us. The booking company did tell us they let the resort know but that was the only disappointment about our stay, apart from that we would highly recommend to stay. Dean

The staff here are amazing. They go above and beyond to make your stay here a happy one. You wouldn't find better food anywhere else either. We found the pool area to be on the small side and for sun worshippers very disappointing as a lot of the beds are in constant shade. The rooms are adequate though you cant close the patio doors if staying out on the patio as there is no handle to get back in. The shower is above the bath and showering becomes lethal when using any soap. No dress drop given in the wardrobes, so maxi length crease at the bottom No extractor in the bathroom.. not nice!! It states its 4 star... more like a comfortable 3. There were a lot of families with very young children who appeared to be loving it. There is a play area and smaller pool for them.

Fabulous. Excellent food, lovely staff who go above and beyond in their customer service. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Great location where everything is within walking distance, but once inside, it's a little oasis. I can not rate highly enough, and God willing, I will return. Thank you, Sofianna, for the memories of a beautiful Cyprus.

This has got to be one of the best ran hotels I've ever stayed at. It's spotless, usually you see small bits of dirt in the pool but not here, i saw no dirt anywhere. All the staff seem to know their jobs and do them well, the management team here are totally on top of their game and it shows. The food is incredible, anyone who complains about it is way too fussy. There the usual for kids but these chefs are fantastic. Highlights were: home made sushi, profiteroles, roast meats, fantastic salads, theme nights, mussels, tacos, amazing desserts, too much to mention! The food is 5* definitely, you can often find chef stood in the dining hall and overseeing things so he's obviously proud of his work and he should be. Every staff member seemed lovely, there is one man at the pool bar who can't be bothered to even blend cocktails properly but I won't mention his name but it didn't detract from the place. Location is great, 5-8 minutes walk to the harbour, tons of archaeology on the door step, shops and bars on same street. Highly recommended in fact I might return

What a fantastic holiday we had. We highly recommend Sofianna! Pros: food, pools, modern and clean. In addition, the hotel is wonderfully located, within a 1-minute walk you can reach the bar street and within a 5-minute walk the harbor. In the hotel and resort you will feel like you are in an oasis of peace. The friendly staff is great. Hope to see you again!

The best hotel food I have ever had. All the staff were really friendly and wanted to make sure I was enjoying my self. Made some good friends with other holiday guests. All inclusive from 10am - 12pm was great. The only thing that needs changing is that if you are drinking in the lobby bar you have to go to the far side of the first floor to the nearest toilet.

Brilliant hotel. Close to all amenities (5 minutes walk) and the staff were simply amazing. We had my husbands birthday there and they even provided balloons when I requested them. Room cleaning was great, the beds are very comfortable, and the safe and air con was included (not all hotels do this). We would definitely go back. All rooms are non smoking too which was nice.

Just returned from our holiday here, hotel is rated a 4* however as we did not experience the a la carte restaurants, or being able to use facilities that should be included in an all inclusive resort I cannot give more than 3*. Unfortunately the alcohol is also not premium instead is just sugar infused which in turn becomes sickly. Premium drinks are on show locked behind a cage at a cost of around €5 per shot! The pubs around the hotel however serve premium drinks at a lower cost than the hotel ones, so worth remembering. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the staff are all hardworking and happy to do anything for you. The indoor pool is free to use. Unfortunately the jacuzzi and sauna is at a chargeable rate of €25 for 1 hour per person, so again not all inclusive. I feel that the overall price you pay for this holiday, does not reflect what you pay at this hotel when the facilities are not actually included. Entertainment is very quiet, there was only a music quiz in the evenings. The food is of good quality there is something to everyone's taste and the staff work tirelessly. I would not hesitate to return if the hotel changed the issues mentioned. The sun lounger issue is big!! The towels are out before 6am!! This should not be allowed I can only imagine how bad it must be in the summer.

Wow wow wow 6 of us recently stayed for 10 nights from the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our rooms were lovely very clean .The food in restaurant was outstanding. Not one bad meal .Lots of different salads which were lovely along with themed nights and desserts were to die for .My husband and family said red wine was lovely. The chefs made a cake for my sister in law Elaine for her birthday which was yummy. The staff in restaurant worked so hard and were friendly. All of them taking the time to enquire how our holiday was .We will definitely be returning. Best all inclusive we have had .A big thanks to all staff for making our holiday so enjoyable.

We have just returned from our stay and I can not recommend this hotel more highly. The hotel is beautiful, and very clean with exceptional food but what truely makes it so special is the staff! What I will remember most about our stay is the amazing customer service that we received from every member of staff. What a wonderful team! Highly recommend for families as the entertainment / park and pools were much loved by our three young children. Thank you Sofianna you are amazing!

It has been well used. Breakfast and pools are great. Staff were nice. 98% of guests were all-inclusive guests from England. Did not feel at all like we were in Cyprus. Guest carpark is pretty ordinary. Would have been beautiful in it's heyday.

Have been home 2 weeks and thought it was time to write my review. I could not fault the hotel. The reception staff were fab on arrival and showed us to our room. Wow what a lovely modern room with balcony over looking the pool. There was so much choice for every meal and the deserts were to die for. It was lovely to see the chefs and managers available at most meals. We had an amazing holiday. The location is fab for the harbour, shopping mall and the lovely old town. As people have mentioned the area around the hotel is quite run down but don't let this one negative put you off. Will hopefully visit again.

Very nice hotel, really clean, very good staff who look after you. Harbour is a 10 minute walk and Splash Park €10 in a taxi around the corner from the hotel. The food and drinks have been superb with the food changing every night. Entertainment has been good but can always venture out if not your taste. We went on the boat trip today (Wave Dancer). Absolutely incredible and a must as you get to swim in Coral Bay. Good host on the boat and every seemed relaxed.

From the moment we arrived the stand out feature of this hotel was how warm, friendly and genuinely welcoming the staff were. This was evident throughout our stay, and across the board. The attention to detail was amazing, with chefs around the buffet making sure that the amazing food was always presented beautifully presented, to the General Manager moving cushions on the poolside sofas because they weren't exactly as he wanted them to look. The room was clean, spacious, contemporary and we'll appointed with lovely walk in shower. The food was exceptional and plentiful, with a different theme each evening and freshly cooked specials. The bar service was very friendly and efficient with minimal queing. With lovely large pools we didn't stray far, but did manage to get out on the local bus to a beautiful beach and a couple of evenings had a short stroll down to the bustling harbour area.

First of all a big compliment for all the staff, certainly working in the restaurant, on doing a great job and offering a wonderful service with a big smile. The hotel itself looks spacious and clean, offering 2 swimming pools. Unfortunately the inevitable claiming of sunbeds by laying towels in early morning by a lot of guests is tolerated by the hotel, this is very annoying. The hotel is close to the harbor and bar street. The food in buffet restaurant, the other restaurants were closed due to Covid, is really outstanding. Every day another theme and a wide variety of choices in starters, salads, meat, fish and desserts. A point of critic is the way of serving the cocktails; you get just a paper cup with everything poured in, without being proper mixed. Perhaps okay if you're just there for consuming large amounts of cocktails, but certainly not if you just want to enjoy a drink.

It's our last morning here and I'm gutted to be leaving. We spent a week at this hotel and it was amazing!!! The staff are all lovely and the food choice was amazing there was something for all of us. Lovely clean rooms and resort. We have booked for next year already for a two week stay as we all fell in love with the resort and people.

Staff is very friendly, helpful and motivated. That’s super nice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is very tasty and delicious. Unexpected high quality and as I said —> delicious. It’s a new renovated hotel with a super nice SPA. The rooms are ok. In the shower is a glass wall which wasn’t very clean from the first day on. And the pool area was not really clean. I never saw a janitor or cleaning staff clean the facility. Usually, and especially in times of Corona, this is absolutely necessary. This is actually a standard even before Corona! Please change this. Short recap (maximim is 5*): Staff and food 5* Rooms 4,5* Cleanliness pool 2*

Currently staying in this lovely hotel... We would give 7 stars if we could .. amazing lovely people working here, always smiling and working hard for the guests including the guest relation manager! Rooms are clean and modern! Food is amazing ! We are very satisfied with our holidays and we would recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Cyprus....and yes..they have amazing choice of drinks in the all inclusive bar which is something that we've never seen in any other hotel ( we've visited loads of all inclusive hotels all over the world ) , special thanks to Marius from the main restaurant, Eva from the pool bar, the lovely lady "guest relation manager " and Joseph from the animation team, another 2 ladies from the pool bar that I don't know their names yet, but I will update my review in the next couple of days :) amazing place ! Don't think twice before booking your holidays here ! Regards from the Boussetta's family !

Nice place. The surrounding buildings are a bit old therefore they do not go quite well with this new modern place. Other than that if you do not care about this, it is a very nice place.

Very clean, spacious rooms and a very nice and welcoming hotel. Excellent food and the staff could not do any more for you, always helpful and cheerful. Great Central location and quiet, would highly recommend. Possibility of a second visit👍😉

What a wonderful hotel! All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, everywhere was always clean and tidy. As for the food, amazing! Honestly the food on offer could not be faulted. They never ran out, different offerings each day, the chefs were often out and about to make sure everything was okay. Food was delicious. The hotel is only a short 5 minute walk from the bars and restaurants of the harbour, though there are a small handful of bars nearby as well. Never struggled to get a sun bed, the bar was open until midnight every day with a comprehensive menu of drinks in the all inclusive. The only downside is that I’m not staying here an extra week!

This hotel was perfect for our couples holiday!! It’s a very nice and modern hotel with a great location, all the staff are very friendly and the entertainment is great. The food was amazing, I am vegan and the options were endless. This place is perfect for people with allergies or special dietary requirements as each food item has a label which states it’s allergies. I loved how each night had a different food theme so you never got bored! I will definitely be booking with Sofianna Resort & Spa on my next trip to Paphos.

Fabulous hotel, even better staff... central location but with road closed at main junction can be difficult to find. Only strange thing about hotel is that there are no toilet facilities on ground floor where main restaurant and lounge bar areas are.

My husband and I have just returned from the Sofianna Resort & Spa Paphos and what a lovely hotel the staff were so friendly and accommodating the rooms were so clean and modern and the food was amazing from the way it was presented to the choice and taste. It was one of the best hotels that I have stayed at in all the years of travelling. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return next year

+ Friendly staff, very good breakfast and large swimming pool areas. - Basic quality in the room for a 4 star hotel. No extras such as cotton swab. Not only they didn't change the towels but when they cleaned the room the cleaning lady folded the towels and mixed them all together. Two types of rooms, 'indoor" and "outdoor" so in a windy or even a rainy day not the ideal way to go to your room. Generally the room is not made for cold days, air-conditioning switches off when leaving the room so when you return it takes time to heat the room.

  • 5/5 Martha H. 1 year ago on Google
Staying at the moment have had an amazing holiday. The hotel is in a great location for getting around Paphos. Food at this hotel is 5 star amazing. Rooms are spacious spotless and everything you need for a perfect holiday. All staff in all sectors of the hotel are exceptional at their job's. We'll done Sofianna keep up the great work. Definitely more of a 5 star hotel.

We visited this hotel in early April so I guess the tourist season was just about to begin in Paphos. For us it was a very positive and delightful experience as there were no crowds and the staff were genuinely friendly and polite. I imagine that the situation might be quite different, for example, in July or August. Whatever the case, the place was clean, our room was huge, the breakfast was rich and lunch and dinner was plentiful and acceptable in quality.

Have recently returned from a 1 week stay at the Sofiana a very clean and relaxing hotel with helpful polite and friendly staff. The food provided was excellent in both choice and preparation. I certainly would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

  • 5/5 Charlotte T. 1 year ago on Google
Sofianna is a beautiful hotel, the pools are fab, the rooms (we had superior pool view rooms with an interconnecting door) were beautiful! Had everything you needed for a week away, only downside in the rooms were that the beds were actually pretty uncomfortable which was a let down. My family and I had 3 rooms between us and we all felt the same about the beds. The bar, restaurant & pool staff were always very friendly and always happy to help! The gift shop was great and generally cheaper items in there than in all the other local shops which was unexpected, the lady that runs the shop is lovely too! We had low expectations for the food as we had poor experiences with all inclusive buffet style food before but it w was actually pleasantly surprising! Tasty food, something different every night and the and LOVED that there was a separate buffet section just for the kids! Overall, a great holiday resort and i would highly recommend it for families, I wouldn't really recommend for young people that are wanting a lively holiday!! The entertainment wasn't great to be honest, actually one night was terribly cringey with an overly enthusiastic duo, the rest of the time was just "karaoke" but don't think I heard anyone but the entertainer herself singing on any night. The "mini disco" for the kids in the evening was a nice touch but a shame it didn't last for very long or very interactive. I'm sure in the summer and peak season they make more effort but we just found it a little disappointing. I heard a lot of other guests say that they had a short wander outside of the hotel and everything was run down and depressing, which I do agree with, the immediate street surrounding the resort leaves a lot to be desired but we found some lovely little restaurants/bars nearby and as we had been to paphos a few times we knew that just a short walk down the hill to the harbour and it is a very different scene! So don't be afraid to venture out if its your first trip! Paphos is truly beautiful and so much to see and do!! I would definitely look at coming back to sofianna in the future with my family!

5/5 a minute ago on Google 1st day in arrived late last night and was greeted with sandwiches as we had missed dinner. Lovely staff took our bags to our room. Staff can not do enough for you. The hotel is amazing! Plenty of outdoor pools for adults And plenty of activities and slides for kids. Food Is amazing, rooms are very nice with a free fridge, safe and kettle. All air conditioned. The balconies are great with a pool and entertainment view and if u fancy an early night u can not hear music with the doors closed. Highly recommend
