We
have
been
travelling
through
europe
for
the
past
3
months
staying
in
a
range
of
2-5
star
hotels
so
I
always
have
an
open
mind
and
give
honest
reviews!
The
rooms
are
very
dated
and
worn
with
dark
heavy
furniture
(see
pics)
The
soft
furnishings
really
need
updating
and
deep
cleaning.
The
sofa
is
very
uncomfortable.
€10
a
week
for
safe.
The
appliances
are
a
stained
yellow
colour
and
need
replacing.
The
hairdryer
is
old
and
unfit
for
use
and
needs
replacing.
You
are
not
provided
with
any
washing
up
liquid
or
cleaning
clothes
which
I
found
disappointing
for
self
catering.
The
beds
are
comfy
and
the
kitchenette
and
bathroom
although
dated
are
very
clean
and
have
everything
you
need
to
make
a
snack.
Air
conditioning
unit
works
well
which
was
needed
during
high
temps
in
June.
Can’t
speak
highly
enough
of
the
cleaning
staff
who
did
a
great
job
everyday.
Towels
and
bedding
changed
on
a
regular
basis.
Great
wifi
throughout
the
hotel.
The
poolside
area
was
not
clean.
Plastic
cups
and
ashtrays
left
all
around
on
a
daily
basis,
it
seemed
that
fellow
guests
don’t
know
what
a
bin
is.
I
never
saw
the
pool
being
cleaned
and
it
was
over
run
with
a
huge
collection
of
oversized
inflatables.
There
is
also
a
lot
of
cats
at
the
hotel
who
like
to
use
the
surrounding
gardens
as
their
toilet
so
there
is
a
certain
“odour”
as
your
sunbathing.
There
are
big
signs
around
the
pool
stating
that
you
can’t
drink
anything
unless
it’s
purchased
at
the
bar
(even
water)!
These
rules
were
ignored
by
the
visiting
cypriot
guests
who
had
there
own
cool
boxes
and
bottles
of
Bombay
sapphire
by
the
pool.
You’ll
also
find
that
some
of
your
fellow
“Brits
abroad”
and
there
kids
like
to
play
there
own
music,
shout,
scream
and
swear
across
the
pool
to
each
other.
There’s
nothing
the
hotel
can
do
about
it
but
just
bear
it
in
mind
if
your
looking
for
a
bit
of
peace
and
quiet
then
it
might
be
difficult
or
an
idea
to
use
ear
plugs
or
noise
cancelling
headphones
to
drown
them
out.
Plenty
of
sun
beds
and
umbrellas.
Bar
&
Restaurant
€7.50
for
a
breakfast,
everywhere
else
in
Paphos
charges
€4.50-6.00
Pint
of
beer
is
€3.30
(else
where
it’s
€2.20)
Bottle
of
sparkling
water
€2.90
(normally
€1.90)
Friendly
staff.
The
gardens
could
do
with
a
makeover
and
someone
to
do
a
bit
of
litter
picking
each
day.
There’s
a
Lidl
15
min
walk
away
(turn
right
at
main
road
out
of
hotel
and
walk
for
1km)
or
catch
the
bus
at
McDonalds
for
€1.50
and
it
stops
right
outside
Lidl.
Jumbo
superstore
10
min
walk
(like
a
massive
Home
Bargains)
and
supermarket
at
the
Kings
shopping
Mall
(turn
left
at
main
road
out
of
hotel
and
walk
0.8km)
Overall
this
is
a
maximum
2*
budget
hotel
that
reminds
me
of
places
I
stayed
in
Greece
in
the
80’s.
We
got
the
impression
that
they
are
currently
relying
on
repeat
Jet2
and
Tui
customers
that
have
been
going
for
donkeys
years
and
don’t
know
what
they
can
get
for
there
money
at
neighbouring
hotels!
The
staff
are
super
friendly
but
the
hotel
manager
(Nico
I
think
he’s
called)
never
cracked
a
smile
the
whole
4
weeks
we
were
there,
we
always
try
to
speak
a
bit
of
Cypriot
and
he
looked
at
us
like
aliens
when
we
said
“kalimera”
maybe
it’s
because
we
weren’t
a
repeat
customer
and
didn’t
spend
money
in
his
bar.
He
really
needs
to
look
at
his
competitors
and
see
what
their
providing,
we
stayed
in
2
neighbouring
hotels
for
an
extra
€10
a
night
and
the
difference
was
vast.
If
you
are
on
a
budget
and
want
a
quiet
comfy
bed
close
to
the
main
strip
of
restaurants
then
this
is
the
place
for
you.
