Stayed 18 - 25 Mar 2023. Very friendly welcome at reception. Had top floor room in C block over looking the pool. Room was perfect and regularly cleaned. Some low volume noise from other bars but not an issue. The local cats are friendly and well looked after. Friends bar at the front of the hotel does a good breakfast, has entertainment and efficient staff. Hotel is in a great location.

Had a nice relaxing holiday. The hotel and facilities are as to be expected for the *rating. The food at the hotel is good and well cooked, it’s hotel food not high end restaurant food. However plenty of fine places to eat at close by. Bar prices are cheap and the staff and service are great. Given previous reviews I was expecting it to be loud and noisy at night but that’s not been the case. In general the hotel is clean and house keeping good. There is plenty of entertainment in the evenings, so never a dull moment. The hotel bar and restaurant services are provided by the “Friends Bar”, headed by George and his team who never disappoint. I would recommend this place to anyone who is not looking for 5* at 3* rates. In general I’ve had a great time here. I don’t usually go back to the same place twice but … I may make an exception for this place.

Central location, great and helpful staff, tasty food. A few steps from the promenade and the sea, kiosk just around the corner, easy available parking for the car. We liked the stay! The rooms are quite clean, furnished very simply. Comfortable bed! Kitchenware in the room, so morning tea available right away. I recommend it for easy-going tourists and those who want to stay in the centre.

The kitchen is very basic, cooker was rusty. The room was clean, tv you have to hire the plug adapter 2€ buy one over the road for 1€. Bedroom clean plenty of hangers, table light wire was taped up. Bathroom had good shower but a bit tyerd. Staff were very helpful food in the restaurant was great and good value. The big thing wrong with the room was it was situated next to the night club, it started 12pm and finished 5am all you can hear base. This is not all rooms but ours was No 1. I think this hotel is a 1 star rating.

Good location.staff fantastic food great rooms clean but basic, get a low floor room. A bit noisy with local nightclub nearby. Overall liked it.

Had an amazing time here , for the price it was it's a perfect base to stay. We stayed in c block and yes there is some noise but it was minimal at the side of the appartments we stayed. Lovley staff!!! , and brilliant food. The staff even arranged taxis ,helped to hire a car for a couple of days and even helped sort out my short stay in hospital after injuring myself on a walk. We can't praise them enough. We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to Cyprus.

A bit pricey for what you get, but still a good price compared to a lot of other places in Paphos. Excellent location just steps from bars and clubs and a few minutes walk from the beach. The front desk staff couldn’t be nicer and were very helpful with requests for luggage storage, adding extra nights, early check-in, etc. Important to know that because of its location, it can be very loud at night. If you’re a light sleeper or like going to bed early, consider requesting a room in the rear block, or staying further away from this area altogether.

When we called the hotel and wanted to cancel, move the reservation date due to health problems, they told us that it was not a problem, that they were flexible and that they would issue us a voucher. "Send us an e-mail and we will solve your problem" I agree that they charge us taxes and take some money for penalties, but that they took all the money that I paid in seven days is a shame! And this was their response to the e-mail "We’re sorry to let you know that the property won’t be able to make an exception in this case and will charge a cancellation penalty of 504.63 EUR."

Great value hotel in the centre of Paphos. We're not on a budget and could have afforded to pay a lot more if we wanted at some resort style hotel, but we wanted to be in the centre of town in the middle of Paphos and this seems like the best choice.... We'd been here before and liked the proximity to everything. Excellent basic accommodation as long as you don't mind a little bit of noise from the clubs that stay open late. The clubs to produce quite a bit of noise so if you're looking for peace and quiet, you might want to consider a more out-of-town location. "Jenny" the hostess was an amazing help when required.... So was Chris. Our hotel apartment suite was spacious, clean, and secure... Will definitely stay here again in the future. SECOND VISIT: Again, great value Hotel in the Paphos centre. As usual, the noise level is high but the staff (owners and Jenny too) and accommodation made up for it. Thanks Alecos, see you again soon. Jim and Johanna (Canadian and Austrian couple)

Very clean and comfortable apartment. Right in centre of Kato Paphos so easy walking distance to seafront and Harbour

We stayed at this hotel for 14 nights in late September 2018. It is conveniently located, everything is within a short walking distance (restaurants, bars, minimarkets, gift shops, beaches, a bus station, even a big supermarket). Since it's a budget place, you can't expect much from it, yet it was clean and equipped with everything you may need, including a small swimming pool. In our opinion, the best feature in the hotel was a girl named Jenny who worked at the reception desk. From the very first moment of our stay until the last, she did everything to make us feel welcome. She gave us a lot of useful info about the town, she was always helpful and friendly. The hotel management should be proud to have such an employee as Jenny who would go the extra mile to provide excellent service to guests. The downside (at least for us) was the absence of Russian-language channels on TV. If Alecos is expecting to see the influx of Russian tourists, they’d better change this situation. We would totally recommend this place for all budget-oriented tourists. It’s good value for money.

For this money it was OK, but - Air Conditioning is paid extra and before you make a reservation this information is difficult to find. After we arrived and paid, we wanted to see if we had any chance to find it before making reservation and it turned out it was there, but really difficult to find. - furniture is worn out - breakfast is so-so

It was a quick solution for a two day trip. It was clean, nice and tidy. It is located in an area with easy access to everything, such as the beachfront bars, business and restaurants around just for your convenience. A good management directors which attend immediate to your needs.

Great hotel for the money,nice location for bars restaurants and shops. Entertainment every night and great food & drink. Would Def come again,lovely secluded pool

Absolutely love this place 2nd time we have been and at the centre of everything, staff are always polite and want to help anyway they can ,literally 5 mins from beach and night life on your doorstep, never heard hardly any noise during the night we were on pool side will definitely be coming back again xx

Absolutely perfect. I would recommend it for an easy night or two..all entertainment facilities around...clubs...restaurants...the beachfront. It has an easy access and the hostess are very helpfull.

Stayed there the last 2 years visiting friends that have moved back to Cyprus. Be out again next month. Smashing little hotel. Ideally situated. Can't fault it.

Poor quality bedding and towels, torn and with holes in them.bathroom is in need of attention holes in the walls and poor cleaning. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Great bar attached

We had a good sized room with kitchenette/ living area with separate bedroom. Nice courtyard area. We did not use the pool so cannot comment.

Excellent apartments for the price. Maids did a great job keeping them clean. Jenny and her lovely mum Irene were great hosts. It is as noted before in a central and lively area which generates some noise. We can't complain as we contributed to the noise on some nights. Pack ear plugs.

Spacious rooms, acceptable for price paid. Friendly staff, no problem with noise. Unfortunately weather unusually cold and bedding is inadequate.

Basic 3 star accommodation. The cleaning wasn't done regularly until we complained, and the not throughout. Good location for the seafront, and close to a large supermarket. The Scandinavian receptionist was very friendly and helpful. If you like cats, you'll love it, there everywhere and fed every day.

Very loud music until early hours. Not even provided a basic bar of soap in the room. Shockingly bad

This is a budget apartment block with adequate facilities behind Friends Bar and 3 minutes walk from the waterfront. It next door to Rainbow Nightclub which doesn't open till midnight and round the corner is a street full of Nightclubs and Bars pumping out heavy bass till daylight. The staff are ok, and the apartment block itself is comprised of 3 blocks, 3 stories high with a central courtyard filled with tall palms and shrubs. Could be lovely place with a refurb but way too close to all the noise and activity of nightlife if you want peace and quiet lol. As a self catering apartment the facilities were borderline adequate with an open plan lounge and kitchen area. Bathroom and double bedroom. The lounge had an old fashioned feel to it, the sofa arrangement folds flat to make a double bed for more sleeping and there was also a single folded up armchair/day bed thing so in theory this apartment could sleep 5. The TV was a tiny 22 inch but it did have hdmi for my firestick. The balcony off the lounge was big enough to eat breakfast on and in apartment B block where we were, the sun is on this side of the hotel in the morning which was lovely. In the bedroom you have the only Aircon unit for the flat, a massive super wide double bed, with a good mattress and dated looking bed linen. Totally adequate lol. The kitchen was let down by having no microwave, mis matching cups, cutlery and plates. Tiny mugs, cups and no scissors. The combi oven and hotplate thing is more for show and took forever to cook a pizza. Kettle and toaster looked new looking and Russell Hobbs. Take your own cutlery and buy souvenir mugs if you go here. This was a quick decision, last minute October get away for us and the central location of this Hotel, works for and against you. Quick walk to everything but I'm sure there are better apartments that are just as near to the mini Blackpool element of the seafront harbour and nightlife. The pool was tiny and off to one side, did not get the sun on it all day and the pool was ice cold. The Pool loungers were old and could do with replacing. This hotel has cats. Lots of them. The Friends Bar itself serves food and drink all day, entertainment like a singer or Karaoke in the evening too. We ate breakfast here once, the obligatory mini Full English and had pool snacks once, which they didn't bring to the pool and weren't up to expectations either. I would not choose to stay here again, but I've known worse.

We should have given 5/5 just for Jenne. She’s been amazing and always available for our requests. Simply amazing, always smiling. The hotel is not bad for its price level. The swimming pool is nice. The bar/restaurant inside the hotel has nice staff and food’s not bad at all. Thank you!

Staff were brilliant and the area was great rooms were good size and cleaned daily only issue was hotter than expected but can't blame alecos for that

Lovely room with kettle, toaster etc. Lovely and clean - only problem I had was with the shower. Friendly and helpful staff, both in the apartments and in Friends bar attached

Great little apartments within walking distance to the harbour & beach. Yes, its right next to bar street so gets noisy at night but with door shut & aircon on we slept well every night

Clean spacious rooms. Staff is very nice. Location excellent for entertainment especially friends bar which is located under the hotel.

Great staff and food. Tired but clean accommodation. Location not good, kept awake by night club next door till 5.30 am every morning. Don't stay in block A unless your a big night owl.

Given this rating purely because JET2 fail to mention the extreme noise levels from the nightclub that bangs away until 2.30am every morning in their advertising, 5 star rating for the staff as they are amazing , food nice , bed and breakfast options plentiful and evening entertainment great, shame on you JET2 for ruining a 2 week long awaited holiday !!!!

Nice apartment clean cheap n cheerful , small balcony but enough room for two of us , staff brilliant . Couldnt do enoughh for you irene waitress n jenny reception amazing 😍 pool nice enough , the bar and food good , great location oh and air conditioned 👍🏻 Supermarket around corner , ask directions to harbour as we decided to go off our own bat and it took about 40 mins then found the right way took 5 minutes . Would deffo stay there again

First impression wasn't very good booked a 1 bedroom apartment but was given a studio which was over the place where the entertainment stage was so on certain nights didn't get to sleep until after midnight when singer had finished, there was blood on the bedsheets and pillowcases and fridge was broken! Nobody was on reception so had to wait while morning to report this. Glad only booked for a week.

The staff were very friendly and sweet. The location was perfect right by all the bars and clubs. Not far from the beach at all the room was very clean and cozy highly recommend for a group of friends looking for a good time for a good price.

Highly recommended for the room the bar downstairs the staff are brilliant n the air conditioning that was definitely needed in 35+ heat

Everything is perfect, I totally recommend it. Friendly people, good rooms, comfortable beds. The sea is near. The food at the restaurant is very good.
