Refused to let me cancel and refund (or even partially refund) when I had to cancel my trip due to my mum passing away unexpectedly. Not only that, the staff were really rude about it in the phone and harassed me on WhatsApp to try and make me feel bad about leaving a bad review when my mum's just died. What's worse, I found out the hotel went ahead and cancelled my booking anyway without a refund and without my agreement, probably so they can double book it to someone else and to keep my from leaving a bad review on booking.com. SO DODGY, AVOID!!

Very bad experience. Staff not helpful at all .swimming pool very dirty with ants and everything else inside ,was not cleaned it was obvious, we were using another swimming pool..people were in the pool with the clothes on, when we reported it the man said I will tell them not to do that ..second day the same and he said I can't do anything... Tv was not working , the blonde lady at the reception said I will come in a while to fix it but never came .room was dirty with ants in the kitchen, windows seemed were never cleaned, balcony ready to collapse.. Pillows and sheets smelled so bad Towels were dirty .we asked for new towel we never got ! . Bad old building, disgusting.. But most of all the most dirtier swimming pool I have ever seen !! No good service ,only Andri was polite at the reception. I would never go back I don't recommend

    - Towels are grey and didn't smell fresh. - All the furniture was half broken, the door is absent in the tv stand, curtains and bedspread have holes from cigarettes, the kitchen working area is also burned and so on. - Bad noise insulation it was really hard to sleep because of the noice from other rooms. - We were not able to leave the window open because of the road smell in the room, even we had the more expensive garden view apartment. Ruined the night.

Room pictures doesn't match with reality. Very old smelly rooms. Uncomfortable double bed. Additional bed in the room can't be called bed. It's better to sleep in the floor.

Our room was clean and had almost all the necessary appliances (towels, cooking ware and even a rain shower). The staff was really nice and helpful. It is located quite nicely: The supermarket and beach is only 5-10 minutes by walking. Unfortunately, beside salt, no oil or anything else was provided in the kitchen (similar to other apartments that we have rented), so we needed to buy some olive oil in the supermarket nearby. Also, AC is not included, so we needed to pay 6€/night extra! (-1 star)

I was fully satisfied. The location is perfect, close to the beach and to the Mall center by walk. Rhe staff is so kind helpful, also they let you rest 😇 The room is totally clean, and I had a working air condition there. The pool was cool 😍 even if I spent time in february, everything was so perfect. Thank you! 🙏🏻 Also say hello to my little new friends around the apartment 🐱🐈‍⬛

Location is lush! Walking distance from a lot of amazing spots. The bed sheets were disappointingly thin so it was a little difficult to get cozy at night, but considering the price, I can't say I have too many complaints. It's a very decent place to stay, and the staff were very helpful

Listed as a 3 star apartment but arguable a 2 star apartment. Pros: very spacious, excellent location; nearby the mall, archaeological site, restaurants, pharmacy etc., friendly staff, quiet and feels safe, free carpark under apartment block. Cons: amenities are literally from the 80s (photos attached), towels are old and bathroom is even older. Not particularly clean (markings on bedsheets) and walls are paper thin. All in all, a very cheap stay and you pay for what you get. This is a no frills apartment and perfect for if you have back to back plans during the day and just looking to have somewhere to put your head down. There appears to be some rooms which have been renovated - definitely would recommend try getting one of those!

We just needed to stay 1 night and due to high season this one was one of the few available and we booked the last room. We didn't expect anything at all and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Room was spacious, with small kitchen with microwave, toaster etc., bed was comfortable, shower was a bit small, but still ok, room was fairly clean. Place does not offer breakfast but in walking distance you can find all you need. It's only 10 min max walk to the sea promenade. The street is quiet and cosy, and it wasn't too loud for us the traffic at night (we didn't hear nothing). Good values for money!

We had a wonderful stay for 4 days at this hotel. Staff were nice, rooms very big and nice. We had forgotten an adapter, and reception borrowed us one for free. Location is good, close to the harbour, But also in walking distance to Old town Paphos.

Apartment was disgusting, I don't understand how something like that is allowed to be listed on Booking. Furniture is prehistorical, beds are uncomfortable, toilette is nasty, towels are falling apart... In the room there are doors which leads you in your neighbor's room... We asked for shower shapoo they told that they don't offer it, so I was showering with tiny hand soap block. Old man on reception was giving us instructions like we are checking in to the 5-star hotel, he was unkind. They put 0 effort in this apartment. They didn't invest 50 € in that room for last 20 years. Worst experience ever!

Location is great, just 10-15 minutes to the beach/port Paphos. Apartments are a bit old but you have everything you need there. Pool is small but cute, only thing I didn't like was the time you are allowed to swim there, from 8am to 8pm, because it would be really nice to swim late in the evening there. But for that price, it is not bad.

Good value/price, 15 mins from the beach, 10 mins from the main grocery store. Friendly staff, minimal but neat apartment, A/C works fine, the pool is definitely an advantage in case you make it back in time ( until 8 pm) after a long day but dont feel like hopping down to the beach. You can park your rental car in front of the place too.

Fairly good accommodation in Paphos as this apartment is located near the mall and can walk easily within 5 minutes. The walk to the main attractions is not too far too, quite easy to walk around. The problem with the apartment is that it’s not that clean, based on my experience, others might have different story. Some bedsheets and blanket are not that clean, somer dust and hair at the corner of the room. The apartment has pool as well which is great especially during warmer season. The staff at the reception however were not that welcoming. I remembered one lady did not really bother to entertain our problem which there was no light inside the bathroom. This is based on my experience only but overall, it is a good stay.

Stayed there just for a night. The bathroom was disgusting. I wasn’t expecting much but at least a clean room for the rating that it has. The towels were really old and grey, the showerhead was broken and rusted, in the shower there was mold and the grout was black everywhere. I wouldn’t stay here again even if it was for free.

Really lovely stay at the crystallo apartments. Excellent location. On arrival, I was met by Stathis, who was very helpful and friendly, which is always nice when you are a lone traveller. The apartment was fitted with everything that was needed. Lovely pool at the back of the apartment, which my apartment balcony overlooked. I highly recommend this value for money facility, and l am really looking forward to my next visit.

Me and my friend stayed at Crystallo Apartments from the 29th of May to 1st of June. The booking wasn’t made in my name, but as the hotel scans every guests documents, they’ll know I was there. Right at the beginning we noticed the standard is quite low, even for the price we paid. The shower cabin lacked door (there was a curtain instead), the shower base was leaking, leaving the bathroom floor completely wet after we used it. The only shelf in the bathroom was broken (hanging down at a weird angle, making it useless for keeping any cream or serum bottles or even a toothbrush there), hotel did not provide cable adapters (thankfully we came prepared) or decent size mugs (just tiny ones). But we would honestly not even care and make a problem out of it, if not the event that took place on our last evening at the hotel that made us remember Crystallo Apartments in a really bad light. I tried to take a shower after a long day with swimming in the sea and in the pool. Unfortunately no matter how long I’ve waited, there was no warm water this time. Hotel doesn’t provide phones in the rooms to reach the reception desk, their phone number doesn’t work with WhatsApp and I didn’t have roaming activated. My friend was already asleep. The only thing I could do is to go downstairs and ask for help regarding my problem. As I was very tired and could only think about taking shower, going to sleep and waking up early the next morning to get to the airport on time, I chose the fastest option. I went there wrapped in a big bath towel. Maybe this wasn’t the best idea, but this hotel has a swimming pool right behind the reception and so there are people in bikinis and towels passing by to get to that swimming pool anyway. As soon as the man at the counter saw me, he stood up, stopped talking to the other guests and started shouting at me, asking how dare I coming there looking like this, what I’m thinking and where my boyfriend is (this question was actually completely out of context for me, but I assume he carried it out from his own culture). I told him that I was literally trying to take a shower, but there is no warm water, so I came to ask for help. He kept ignoring me and instead was shouting that I can’t just walk around like that. He seemed very angry, to the point that I was super scared of him and his absolutely exaggerated reaction. I still tried explaining myself, but he wouldn’t listen. He was furious. After feeling completely ignored, scared and embarrassed I said I will go back to my room, but I really ask to do something about the water problem. He finally asked about my room number, which I provided and I went back inside. This happened around 9:30 or 9:40 pm on May 31st and I’m sure it’s on the CCTV. I was waiting for someone to come and talk to me about it or investigate the problem and let me know what happened. Nobody came. I checked the water few more times before I realized no one is doing anything and so I went to sleep, hoping the warm water will be back in the morning, so that I can shower before my flight back home. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. Today me and my friend had to travel back to our country with dirty hair and burnt skin that we couldn’t take a proper care of without the access to warm water. I was feeling awful both mentally and physically. In the morning we had to leave to the airport before the reception desk opening hour (we gave the key to a very nice cleaning lady) so I couldn’t address my problem to anyone in charge or even a different front desk employee. The described situation made my stay at Crystallo Apartments the worst hotel experience in my whole life. If what I did was really bad, it could have been addressed calmly and professionally. Instead I was too scared to go back to the receptionist and ask for updates about the water issue.

Rooms are quite old. Bed sheets and facilities are pretty average. Not even tea or coffee saches provided in the room, and please change your soap- it literally crashes as soon as it’s used. Your could also provide a basic amenities including shampoo.

The only issue at time of visit (May 2023) was diverted traffic passing apartment due to upgrading roads etc around the harbour. Apart from that I had a great stay. Arranged to go back.

Had an incident where an over zealous maid for my protection took my phone from where i'd left it on a private table with my other things around on my semi private veranda outside my room. She did not enquire at the open glass door or knock and i thought it had been stolen from what felt like a quiet gated safe place. The rest of the staff handled me well but it was a major stress

Our Superior studio was great! Spacious room and bathroom, beautiful terrace, lots of light in the room, comfy bed and everything is super clean! Real value for money. The possibility to leave the car in an underground garage on 40+ heatwave is just amazing! Going to the beach in a cold car is priceless! Unfortunately we've spent only 3 days at Crystallo but our biggest impression was our friend-forever evening receptionist Statis! Such a great guy, we've spent one whole evening at the outside bar, having drinks, and he came to chat with us while waiting for the guests until late at night and made our evening full of fun and laughter! Big thanks and we can only say he's a guy with a big heart! We'll surely be back to Crystallo on our next stays at Pafos, big hug to Statis!

We had a very pleasant stay at Crystallo. The location is wonderful since it is close to the beach and the centre. It was also really clean since the room was cleaned very well every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially Stathis is a great guy who has some very useful tips for Paphos. Also, he is always ready to help.

A great place to stay, near the harbour and town centre. My apartment, over looking the pool, was clean with a comfy bed and nice kitchen area. The staff, George the manager, Tina on reception, and Stathis the bar manager, along with the cleaners, were most efficient and welcoming. I can't wait to return there in May next year.

Because of poor quality We had to move 2 times to different apartments in Paphos till we came to Crystallo and it stood head and shoulders above the rest, very specious and comfortable, clean, modern and the staff are friendly so highly recommend it.

Just back from my second stay this year at Crystallo. Room perfect for our needs on both occasions. Massive fridge! Room cleaned daily, staff really friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a fantastic location of Paphos, few minutes walk to all the bars and restaurants and the seafront strip. Perfect venue for a self catering room. Will def be back, again!

Great place, excellent location. Staff was friendly, room was clean and had a great view of the sunset. Only negative point - the bus stop is 5 mins away and the bus from the station to the hotel is €1.50. The hotel doesn't advertise that and tried to get me to pay €30 for a taxi.

Stayed there a couple of nights. We didn't like it as our non smoking room was reeking of cigarette smoke, towels and sheets weren't fresh (had to ask the receptionist for a change of sheets as they were obviously used by someone before us). Personnel was anyway helpful and kind.

Myself and my now fiancé (he proposed here) had the most amazing trip here in November 21. The hotel is lovely, just what we wanted! Quiet, cosy, friendly and so well looked after. Rooms were clean and checked daily. The owner, family and staff are all very welcoming and pleasant. Our room was on the bottom floor and our doors opened straight out to the pool which was fab, I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast in front of the pool every morning watching the sunrise. The pool was cold but was a nice refreshing swim in the heat. The apartments are a short walk down a slight hill to the main sea front and harbour which has everything you need. A very big Sainsburys supermarket is 5 mins walk away. We also took the walk to the shopping mall too. If you’re not a big walker taxis are very reasonable, we only used taxi once as bought big water bottles from the mall. I would love to return and hopefully will super soon! Thank you so much to Crystallo apartments!

Very nice staff who gave us the keys to the accommodation. We got a better room than we expected, very spacious, beautifully clean, with a balcony. The kitchen and equipment were absolutely sufficient. Definitely highly recommend! Only one ,,dislike" - here was no warning that there were no European sockets (so the chargers don't work unless you have a travel adapter).

  • 4/5 Roldan de G. 1 year ago on Google
The bed was comfortable. The apartment was clean and spacious. It is also located close to the centre. The wifi signal though was very erratic. In the end I was relying on my own data plan. I had negative vibe from the receptionist. I asked if the air conditioning is working and he said only the one in the bedroom. Turning on the air conditioning in the living room will cost extra. He said I don`t need it. Sorry to put this in comment but I`m from tropical country. I need the air conditioning ;) Other than these, I like my stay in general.

The apartments are decent and clean. Furniture is a little bit older, but it is ok considering the price you pay for it. It is near everything: The Mall, the bus station, the port, broadway and many others. The only thing that cought my eye was the smell of towels. They were clean and all but the smell was just really wierd and that why I gave 4 stars. Also has AC in the room that works perfectly fine and WiFi that has a great speed for watching streams.

  • 3/5 Alex B. 1 year ago on Google
The flat we were given had pool view and was alright. Everything was working as expected however we did not have a great experience for the two nights due to other guests making a mess in the pool at night 3-5am, hence the 3 stars as we couldn’t get much sleep
