Worst place in the world! The owner is mentally ill, rude and aggressive. The hostel is dirty, smelly, old and there are cockroaches. Anyone who leaves a real negative review is insulted by the owner! terrible place!!

The whole experience was terrible. We had 5 rooms booked in for 10 people. Guesthouse was overbooked therefore we only got 2 bedrooms and a living room with 1 bed and a sofa and a guest bed. The manager of the place is a liar and a scam back,Gave us lots of porky pies. We been told that he’s doing us a favour by giving whole apartment to us and he’s gonna loose lots of money. Gave us a discount for 1 room only. When we checked in the rooms weren’t clean and the bedding wasn’t changed. We had to ask for clean covers and towels. Eventually the rooms were cleaned but not up to standards. We were too tired after a long journey to go anywhere else so we had to stay. We weren’t able to sleep at all as there wasn’t enough beds or pillows for us. On a bright side the location is excellent close to all the amenities.

Only one bathroom/toilet for all guests, kitchen without any salt or pepper, no lockers, not enough space for everyone in the wardrobe. Incredibly loud during night as the whole house shakes from bass coming from the main street. Nice view, but you can't leave your luggage past 11am and a person next door reported his credit cards stolen, probably by the staff as they had rented the whole room. Also, ants were wandering on the floors and the shower is covered in limestone. Location doesn't make up for all the inconveniences. Good for one night only. Edit: I have been to many hostels and hotels and there usually was one more toilet than bathroom so nobody had to hold their pee. Also, lockers are standard literally everywhere but on Cyprus, I guess, and there usually are some extra lockers on the reception available past/before check in/out. For the same price or lower, so sorry mate, but your standard is below the price asked. 15£ is 18€. That's Edinburgh's city centre hostel price.

The worst experience of my life! The host is extremely rude and dangerous person! Please do not stay there! I always travel alone and this had been the first time in my life I didn't felt safe!

Well, the location and views are great. Here’s the end of the positive things As all other people stated on Google, the owner is kinda rude, doesn’t care about people, not knocking on the door, just entering even though I paid for it. Apart from it, there aren’t any lockers which means you have to carry along all your belongings if you don’t want to leave them in the guesthouse. It’s not a problem if you stay for one night, but for longer it’s a problematic thing. On your last day, you can’t leave anything either, so if you have a flight at night, once again, you carry along your stuff. The second thing is the bathroom. It’s just disgusting (see pics) + all laundry is made in the common kitchen. Finally, all the duvets don’t have any covers which mean that you sleep under the previous guest’s duvet because it’s not changed. AMAZING! You sleep under sweaty quilt 🙃

We had a long day and needed place to sleep before our flight. We arrived in the evening. Our room was at first glance ok for the price (cause we only needed to sleep). When started to get ready for the bed, found ANTs in the bed. Also closely looking the whole room was infested with ants (floor and cabins). Left towel was not clean and used it only to dry hands. We realized that the ants are Pharao ants, that are REALLY hard to get rid. Also they can carry diseases and infest your own homes, when brought back with your belongings. This was not ok with us and contacted the owner immediatley also Booking.com to have a refund, as we wanted to get some sleep before the flight and move on quickly to a new place. Owner was very inpolite and accused us just using the room. After the Booking.com refused to grant the refund as owner denied any ants at that place. Will not suggest in ANY case booking at that place!! This ant problem is no joke!! Everybody should be aware about this!

Nice place to stay. Have been there in January 2022, 18 € per night. I came late at night, it was 2 am. I settled easily, open the door with keys. Clean bed and big white towel included. There were 4 beds, wardrobe, sofa, table and 3 chairs in my room. Also we had balcony with astonishing view of the sea. It was a bit cold at night, so we used heater. Bathroom is common. Kitchen too. There are all needed cutlery, plates and cups there. Kitchen is self service, you should clean after yourself. Water was hot. Shower and bath was not really clean, but it was clean enough to do my stuff. I was upset because all sockets in the appartment were of special british type, not EU. You will need to buy an adapter for few euros. Supermarket Papantoniou is located 300 m near the appartment, open till 9 pm. Also you can find nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The WiFi in the appartment was good, I was able to work and watch YouTube. An owner throw trash away from the garbage in appartment every day. Also owner offers transfer from and to airport on his own car.

The owner of the hostel clearly has something wrong with the psyche, he treats guests who pay for their stay without a bit of respect. Just read his responses to negative and true reviews. It offends everyone. People go on vacation during the pandemic, they could spend their money elsewhere to financially support hotel owners in a difficult time, and this very nervous, unmanaged man goes out of his way to report his activities to court, claim compensation for a terrible stay in a terrible, unsafe place. Be warned !!

Stayed here afew years ago last minute thing was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed at!!!! and reading the comments i can see this guy still has not changed his ways extremely rude attitude my advise to anyone reading this is stay away book somewhere else 👍🏼

The owner is a totally disgusting person. I didn't know how to turn on the boiler and the heater wasn't working. I called the number provided on booking. The person yelled at me, called me a problem (yeah, customer = problem and not King) and afterwards called me a f--er. The bathroom is pretty dirty, same as his mouth. Thinking of going to the police and demand a full refund after my stay. Disgusting. Cypriots are really rude from my experience, the bus drivers are really not nice. From what I remember from my trip to Greece, Greeks are much much nicer

Booked the place a several days in advance but they didn't have my reservation and was fully booked when I got there.

We had to leave our other apartment and wait several hours until our flight. This was an OK option. Needs restoration.

A pretty small hostel with a top location which compensates the quality of the property. It is situated exactly on the busiest harbour street with a stunning view over the mediterranean sea. A really small kitchen with absolutely basic equippment. The place is relatively clean. Wi-fi speed - average. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The beds are not that comfortable but are fine. Overall - 6.5/10

Great value for money! The guesthouse is ideally located in the city center of Paphos, right next to the beach, restaurants, supermarket, and clubs. Gorgeous view on the beach. If you travel alone, the shared room is a great opportunity to make amazing encounters! There’s an equipped kitchen if you want to cook and a washing machine.

Marco was nice and friendly, location was wonder, air conditioning was strong, can’t beat the price and would stay again.

Location is great, wifi is average but works. The air conditioning works. The room is modest but bed sleeps well. The bathroom was modest. For a short stay it seems fine

The location is amazing, but the double room is very old fashioned and needs redesigning... It wasn't very clean (especially the shower) and the bed wasn't very comfortable. That being said, Arman is very nice, the kitchen has everything you need and once again- top notch location

Horrible shared rooms (which was not clarified during booking) and ridiculous house policies. Interior very inconvenient.

Ideal hostel with great view and place in center city of Paphos

Very funny place, just regular flat with few rooms. Very strict rules, small space, good air conditioner, balcony with sea view and main street. Very hard to find, but it exist, promise. Entery is from other street.

Nice beach view, close to the port.

Quite and old house, but functionally good. Loved the balcony with views to the sea it was just very nice to stare at it having a cig in the morning. There’s only one toilet for all rooms. I guess in peak season this could be a problem. But there weren’t many people when I arrived. Staff is friendly and picked me up from airport for 25£ just right before they were supposed to close the check in. At night you can hear the music from the bar outside, and some noisy cars passing by.

Not bad for the price. Apparently clean and with all of the facilities, I even got a parking. Ask about how to turn on the hot water if you don’t want to have an unpleasant morning before leaving (it takes quite a long time to get warm...)
