The servers were pleasant, the restaurant looked nice, and the patio was comfortable. However—I ordered €16 grilled octopus and received one single tentacle that tasted boiled & unseasoned. My husband got 8 mussels & a handful of fries for €16 (at least I got 5 slices of zucchini and 4 bites of carrots on my plate). Our two kids shared a plate of €13 fish & chips, the fish was not crispy or seasoned, so they just ate the bread and dips. Lastly, I ordered a €2.5 “iced coffee” that turned out to be watered down instant Nescafé with ice. We are not hard to please at all, but the high Google reviews surprised us, as the quality of food did not match their pricing.

The octopus melted in my mouth. So fresh and delicious. The fries were really good. I liked the different spreads with bread as a special from the restaurant. I came in late - 22:00 and although restaurant is open by 22:30 they still accepted my order. The owner and the staff were so kind, attentive and friendly. It made the whole dinner experience amazing and I didn’t feel lonely although I was alone. Thank you for such a wonderful dinner. Would definitely recommend and come back next time I’m in Paphos!

I hope you’re hungry and you like sea food ! Every fish we ate was absolutely amazing. Great prices as well. We had a lovely dinner outside on the terrace, trying out different fishes. You have to try the sea bream it’s the best fish I had in Cyprus. Special mention for the staff : they give great advice, they’re very helpful and of course very nice !

As much as I wanted to like this restaurant and the friendly owner, the food and price simply doesn’t deserve a high rating. Had grilled version of fish meze for two for €38, which included salad, pita with dips and potato fries, calamari and octopus (octopus was tiny), small plate to risotto (rice not well cooked), a small grilled fish with no seasoning or sauce whatsoever (not even salt!), and watermelon. Definitely not worth the money; there are plenty better places to get meze with same or less cost.

This wonderful restaurant was just around the corner of where we stayed in Paphos. We had dinner there 3 out of the 4 nights of our stay. The food was exceptional and the service beyond any expectations. Authentic, warm Cypriot hospitality! We highly recommend Psarou to anyone visiting Paphos.

A good combination of quality and prices. There are a lot of choices on the menu, especially for fish of course. I had two different kinds of fish and they ere both fresh and nicely cooked. The local wine suggested by the waiter was refreshing and suited my dish very well. It's a little off the beaten track but it's worth it. Overall recommended but avoid if you are on a wheelchair.

Staff was friendly, efficient, prompt, and helpful. I was able to order a half portion of seafood pasta, which was beautifully presented, tasted divine, and was the perfect size for a weary traveler. Menu was available in Greek and English. Staff had limited English, but we were able to communicate successfully.

I am amazed by the food and service! They made my holiday in Paphos unforgettable. The food was amazing and the service incomparable. Definitely, stop by and try their fresh fish and beautiful risotto. We came back and so will you. Special thanks to Andreas for his kindness and humour!

I am still here, drinking the last Zivana. I have been in many places, but literally one of the best fish restaurants in Europe, then probably in the world! Come and try by yourself!

We ordered messe for two and 1/2 litre red wine . Our bill was 58€. The owner is very friendly and it was so great. We were celebrating and when owner got to know that, he offered us additional 1/2litre wine for free and also we had 3shots/head. It was a wonderful time spent. I am not a fan of risotto but the one at this restaurant was quite good. The shrimps were so fresh and flavourful. We went home drunk and well fed. Very nice Ambience. 5star for the passionate owner and his amazing food.

I had the octopus dish. It was fresh and came with vegetables and fries. The staff were very friendly, and attentive. It is always a great choice to dine at a restaurant that is a bit away from tourist attractions!

Absolutely the best fish we had in Cyprus throughout our stay in winter 2022/23. We had dorada, octopus and oysters. Fresh, sweet, delicious. Minimalist dressing of olive oil, salt and lemon really helped the freshness to shine through. This is a place for people who appreciate simplicity and freshness of ingredients, rather than the ratio of calories per euro spent.

Place looks suspicious from the outside but the food is delicious. Owner Panikos is a great entertainer. Staff very friendly. We had the catch of the day grilled Dorada, shrimps, calamari, salad, homemade fries and local beer! All fresh and delicious. And we finished with Uzo

Psarou was a great dining experience in Paphos. I had grilled calamari and it was really nicely done. Wish I could try their fish meze but it was for minimum 2 people. Rose wine was fantastic. Really welcoming staff and I actually loved that it was off the main street in a nice venue.

Psarou is a great place for seafood lovers. The fish is amazing and fresh and the staff is friendly. The restaurant is cozy and on great location near the Tombs of the Kings. I highly recommend it.

One of the best (if not the best) fish taverns I tried in Cyprus. I tried every single dish in their fish meze and everything was excellent. Very very tasty food and amazing service. We'll definitely be back whenever we are in Pafos.

Nice place, friendly service, deliciouse food. We took fried meze for two persons 38€ and a bottle of white wine 15€. As we leave nearby, I've noticed that a lot of locals eat there, so I believe that it is a sign of wonderful quality and normal prices.

Spoiler alert: you have to visit this place. Period By very happy accident we met the owner of this restaurant, Panikos, very nice man, who’s not just owns good place, but also he’s a great person. Without jokes and marketing he showed us fantastic hospitality, kindness and good sense of humor. If you are lucky enough to meet him - your evening is doomed to success! What’s surprising, in this restaurant not only the owner is very talkative and hospitable, but everyone from stuff. You really feel that they carry. Ok, let’s talk about food, since it’s what everyone carry about. Food is tasty. We had grilled octopus, starters, house wine and desert and every drop and peace of it was brilliant. Add to it Cypriot music, authentic interior and the most hospitable people and you’ll get the evening you’ll be remembered for long time! For real, this place deserves the shot!

Beautiful place with a tree in the middle of it! We had great, relaxing lunch,fish meze was great. Potatoes were the best I ate in a long time, I was surprised by that :) Although we didn't like the rice-maybe that should be replaced with something else.

The food was good but nothing special. The price quantity ratio not so good, too expensive. The owner was friendly.

Oh goodness, what an amazing place to visit! I have never been big on seafood but my husband is so we wanted to try good seafood in a place that specializes in it. And I have to say that the experience was amazing! We were treated like guests, not like customers ❤️ and my husband had the octopus and I had the garlic butter prawns and we both had the soup fish for starters. The soup was amazing - smooth, with tiny bits of fish, such a rich flavor. The prawns were amazing, buttery and yummy. I tasted the octopus and realized that I actually might be convinced towards seafood! Great place, fantastic people, delicious food!

Very delicious restaurant. Good service and cool stuff. It's located not too close to the "tourist"-part of the town, but it's absolutely worth to get this place to have a tasty dinner!

Must visit! Great seafood and energy in this place. We found it during a walk an noticed that most of the gest were locals - so it must be good - it made us sit there:) You feel very welcomed and cared there. Food was delicoius - we had extremely big calamari and sets of starters to try as mamy flavours as possible:) stuff is super friendly so that we even took shots of limoncelo together after our meal. Guys it was a grat pleasure to visit your place! Take care!
