I
had
an
appointment
with
Dr
Stella
Themi-Spyrou
at
Pafos
Blue
Cross
clinic
on
Tuesday
(November
14th
2023)
and
again
on
Friday
(November
17th
2023).
I
have
never
encountered
doctors
like
Doctor
Stella,
fortunately,
until
this
week.
Be
very
vigilant,
or
better
yet,
completely
avoid
her
services
unless
you
are
willing
to
take
a
risk.
I
want
to
advise
everyone
to
find
a
doctor
with
real
medical
competencies
and
good
intentions,
for
whom
the
Hippocratic
Oath
is
not
just
empty
words.
Doctor
Stella
runs
a
business
under
the
guise
of
a
gynecologist.
My
situation:
1.
I
came
for
an
appointment
where
she
performed
an
ultrasound
and
told
me
that
I
had
a
cyst
on
my
left
ovary.
I
was
very
scared.
I
didn’t
even
ask
for
a
conclusion,
as
in
complete
shock
she
directed
me
to
take
all
possible
tests,
explaining
that
I
had
a
complex
case
and
needed
to
find
out
the
cause/further
actions.
2.
Doctor
Stella
prescribed
me
to
take
hormone
tests
on
the
26th
day
of
my
cycle.
But
then
I
learned
from
another
doctor
that
these
hormones
are
tested
at
the
very
beginning
of
the
cycle
to
be
accurate.
I
had
to
consult
another
doctor
to
find
out
that
the
tests
I
took
on
the
26th
day
of
the
cycle
make
no
sense.
By
the
way,
I
told
Stella
about
my
cycle
right
away,
but
this
did
not
stop
the
doctor.
The
cost
of
all
tests
was
229
euros,
part
of
which
was
required
in
cash.
3.
A
couple
of
days
later,
I
returned
for
a
follow-up
consultation.
At
this
consultation,
Doctor
Stella
again
gave
me
no
conclusion
from
the
ultrasound.
Looking
at
the
tests,
she
started
calling
her
acquaintance
and
offering
me
medicine
for
$420,
which
her
acquaintance
could
deliver
to
my
home
"at
the
best
price
if
I
buy
through
her."
I
politely
declined
and
started
asking
for
the
ultrasound
conclusion,
as
I
needed
to
understand
what
kind
of
cyst
I
had,
as
it
was
the
reason
I
took
the
expensive
hormone
tests.
I
even
had
to
involve
the
hospital
manager.
I
was
already
despairing
and
even
went
home,
but
still
returned.
After
my
further
arguments
that
I
had
no
document
for
the
payment
of
services,
Doctor
Stella
said
that
supposedly
the
first
ultrasound
was
not
saved
on
the
old
machine
and
offered
to
examine
me
again.
And
then
it
turned
out
that
I
don’t
have
a
cyst
at
all…
She
gave
me
the
ultra
sound
report
and
said
that
probably
something
was
mixed
up
last
time
(the
computer
failed
again).
How
this
happened
is
still
a
mystery
to
me.
The
doctor
printed
the
report
and
reluctantly
wrote
2
sentences
of
conclusion
on
the
remaining
piece
of
paper
from
the
pictures
of
the
ultra
sound.
4.
I
never
received
the
results
of
my
tests.
It
turns
out
that
the
initial
diagnosis
of
the
cyst
was
needed
to
take
expensive
tests.
But
I
wasn’t
given
their
results
either.
5.
I
also
want
to
note
that
Doctor
Stella
lacks
competence
in
communicating
with
patients,
from
the
very
first
minute
she
said
that
"all
Americans
are
stupid"
(quote)
and
started
asking
me
questions
about
my
personal
life,
which
had
nothing
to
do
with
the
appointment.
I
assume,
to
understand
how
much
financial
damage
she
could
inflict
on
me.
From
this
whole
situation,
Doctor
Stella
not
only
did
not
help
me,
not
only
caused
financial
damage
but
also
harmed
the
patient,
which
according
to
the
Hippocratic
Oath
is
the
worst
thing
a
doctor
can
do.
For
your
information,
the
consultation
and
tests
cost
me
500
euros.
500
euros
paid
not
for
helping
me,
but
only
caused
moral
harm
and
wasted
nerves.
I
advise
everyone
to
think
ahead
before
going
to
this
doctor.
Out
of
human
respect,
I
refer
to
her
as
a
doctor,
but
I
do
not
consider
her
a
DOCTOR
and
hope
that
there
will
be
medical
associations
in
Cyprus
that
will
prevent
further
harm
Stella
can
bring
to
women
in
the
future.
