Absolutely shocking, to get treatment, you have to leave bank details, they take money out of your account WITHOUT your permission (although insurance had already paid out). Treatment for a few swollen mosquito bites was totally over the top, clearly trying to get as much money as possible out of insurance company. Try to avoid at all costs.

We used a Doctor there but she was abrupt, didn't listen to my wife. If you need to Complain ❓ We wanted give some feed back after talking to 2 people and was told the Bluecross manager MR George Kaniklidesis is in meeting and he is not responsible for Doctors wow ? They didn't even know the reason why we asking. They Not even offered a time to see him later maybe his number or ask for our number for him to call us. Are Doctor's and staff representing Bluecross Hospital ❓❓ ---------- "caveat emptor"

I got my chest X-ray done yesterday and they told me to return the next day for the results. The results are in Greek except for the name, passport number, DOB and date when the X-ray was done. The staff speak English and are helpful. Mask is still required if you enter but even the staff are not properly wearing them. The facilities are clean but noticeably old. Paints are chipping in some areas.

Two days into our holiday. Our daughter came down with a ragging fever. Ended up being Bronchitis. The doc from came directly to the resort and took us to the hospital. Everyone spoke English. And made our stay as comfortable as possible. Our daughter recovered within 3 days. Everyone was extremely friendly. Kind and helpful. The level of care was perfect for our little four year old. Thank you to you all.

This is the sister clinic of the St George's Hospital where I had a dire experience with unprofessionally highly delayed CT scan results & non existent communication from the staff despite firm promises they would contact me. I had to persistently phone the radiology department only to be met with a surly and disinterested call taker and being told there was no doctor available to produce a scan report in a supposedly 24/7 highly professional medical assistance provider. My complaints were treated with contempt even though the hospital admitted failing me and falling well below their usual standards. All I was offered was a measly blood test by the manager George Kanikklides who lied about me being contacted to collect my scan results when no such call was ever made. This man showed no concern as to his rude and uncommunicative staff nor did he offer a credible refund which was highly applicable bearing in mind the fundamental failings of his services. Do not utilise this clinic. Go elsewhere for a professional and fully competent service.

Beware, the clinic doesn't present any invoice and charges your account without prior notice, however the case with your insurance company is still open.

I had an appointment with ginecologist Dr. Stella Spyrou. She treats the patient like a money bag. For an appointment with an ultrasound (without ovaries), and a couple of standard tests, I paid 250 euros, although 50 would have been a lot. During the appointment they didn’t tell me the cost, but after the appointment she presents it with a fact.

(Translated by Google) My daughter was hospitalized here with a sore throat and fever during her vacation. The doctor came to our hotel and took his daughter with him. Very polite and courteous staff. Some speak Russian. The place is very clean and quiet. Modern equipment. Two days later my daughter was discharged and provided with medicines. The payment was made directly through the insurance company. I was allowed to spend the night in the hospital next to my daughter and even fed them breakfast.

(Translated by Google) Fast treatment and good diagnosis I came to the orthopedist with pain in my arm during my vacation, after we had made an appointment, it was our turn. The doctor quickly found a herniated disc with a classic examination. No Mrt and Ct. It was a good thing to minimize costs. he recommended that we drive home quickly and prescribed medication. We were home two days later, thank God we followed his recommendation. On the third day I probably wouldn't have been able to do it well anymore. At home the diagnosis was confirmed with an MRI and I underwent surgery. Thanks for the quick diagnosis and the open honest manner that was not out to make money.

After discharging from Paphos general hospital, this place seemed like a bliss. At least they treated the patient with dignity. Then again, not all nurses are kind and compassionate. We had to bribe them with cookies and cake, hoping they treat my loved ones with some love. I’m so glad my loved one is discharging soon. Only downside here is, doctors run around the whole island and you can’t meet them daily for an update. One good thing, the receptionist helps you to give more information and we manage to get some update by ringing the doctor.

I found myself with sleepless nights in pain and loss of movement in my left shoulder. After an MRI scan it was diagnosed as “Frozen Shoulder” which I had never heard of and was quite scary. I was referred to Giorgos Thrasyvoulidis at Blue Cross but had to wait for 4 weeks to gain an appointment. In the meantime I saw a private “shoulder specialist” in Limassol who told me that, the only treatment was expensive surgery that, no amount of medication or physiotherapy would be able to solve. I decided to wait for my appointment at Blue Cross and what a decision!! Mr Giorgos was so precise and professional administering 3 injections directly into my shoulder with a follow up of twice weekly physiotherapy at ‘Nicomed’ in Mesogi. It took some weeks and after 2 more consultations at Blue Cross, Mr Giorgos discharged me. I have zero pain and 90% movement in my shoulder so, still some exercises to continue. The treatment I received at Blue Cross was faultless, from start to finish, from the admin staff to Mr Giorgos and his assistant nurse. So thank you for taking a scary situation and professionally managing it to fitness and relief 🙏

Krank rein, gesund raus!

(Translated by Google) A very dangerous place. Got here after falling from the bike. For 2 roentgens, 2 injections, an IV and a doctor's call, they invoiced 1800 euros. Half a day they could not go home until they left a deposit of 200 euros. The wounds are not cleaned properly. In the evening, he extracted sand from his hands and released pus. So think 10 times before you go !!!!! And yes. Until the very end, they wanted to get 1800 cash from us. Fooling brains that the insurance does not want to pay!

I had an appointment with Dr Stella Themi-Spyrou at Pafos Blue Cross clinic on Tuesday (November 14th 2023) and again on Friday (November 17th 2023). I have never encountered doctors like Doctor Stella, fortunately, until this week. Be very vigilant, or better yet, completely avoid her services unless you are willing to take a risk. I want to advise everyone to find a doctor with real medical competencies and good intentions, for whom the Hippocratic Oath is not just empty words. Doctor Stella runs a business under the guise of a gynecologist. My situation: 1. I came for an appointment where she performed an ultrasound and told me that I had a cyst on my left ovary. I was very scared. I didn’t even ask for a conclusion, as in complete shock she directed me to take all possible tests, explaining that I had a complex case and needed to find out the cause/further actions. 2. Doctor Stella prescribed me to take hormone tests on the 26th day of my cycle. But then I learned from another doctor that these hormones are tested at the very beginning of the cycle to be accurate. I had to consult another doctor to find out that the tests I took on the 26th day of the cycle make no sense. By the way, I told Stella about my cycle right away, but this did not stop the doctor. The cost of all tests was 229 euros, part of which was required in cash. 3. A couple of days later, I returned for a follow-up consultation. At this consultation, Doctor Stella again gave me no conclusion from the ultrasound. Looking at the tests, she started calling her acquaintance and offering me medicine for $420, which her acquaintance could deliver to my home "at the best price if I buy through her." I politely declined and started asking for the ultrasound conclusion, as I needed to understand what kind of cyst I had, as it was the reason I took the expensive hormone tests. I even had to involve the hospital manager. I was already despairing and even went home, but still returned. After my further arguments that I had no document for the payment of services, Doctor Stella said that supposedly the first ultrasound was not saved on the old machine and offered to examine me again. And then it turned out that I don’t have a cyst at all… She gave me the ultra sound report and said that probably something was mixed up last time (the computer failed again). How this happened is still a mystery to me. The doctor printed the report and reluctantly wrote 2 sentences of conclusion on the remaining piece of paper from the pictures of the ultra sound. 4. I never received the results of my tests. It turns out that the initial diagnosis of the cyst was needed to take expensive tests. But I wasn’t given their results either. 5. I also want to note that Doctor Stella lacks competence in communicating with patients, from the very first minute she said that "all Americans are stupid" (quote) and started asking me questions about my personal life, which had nothing to do with the appointment. I assume, to understand how much financial damage she could inflict on me. From this whole situation, Doctor Stella not only did not help me, not only caused financial damage but also harmed the patient, which according to the Hippocratic Oath is the worst thing a doctor can do. For your information, the consultation and tests cost me 500 euros. 500 euros paid not for helping me, but only caused moral harm and wasted nerves. I advise everyone to think ahead before going to this doctor. Out of human respect, I refer to her as a doctor, but I do not consider her a DOCTOR and hope that there will be medical associations in Cyprus that will prevent further harm Stella can bring to women in the future.

Extremely Disappointing Experience I strongly advise considering alternative clinics for your healthcare needs. This was our second unfavorable experience with Blue Cross. We scheduled a post-surgery dressing appointment in advance, knowing that waiting can be particularly challenging for the patient. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that they could not assist with the wait time, stating that the doctor (surgeon) “will see you as he is able.” When the doctor arrived, he prioritized another patient who did not have an appointment, extending our wait to 30 painful minutes. The subsequent bandaging procedure was also quite painful. Immediately afterward, the doctor merely thanked us and left. We waited for a while, hoping to receive further recommendations, but he did not return. After relocating to our car and settling the patient for the journey home, a staff member from reception hastily approached us, insisting we return to the clinic to see the doctor and address a formality. The experience was characterized by chaos, disorganization, and a lack of understanding. I implore you to consider alternative clinics and prioritize your health!

Waited for my pre-agreed appointment with surgeon for 20 minutes. I am recovering from a spine surgery so cannot sit - only walk or lay down. So had to walk for 20 minutes in the corridor. When the doctor came, another patient squeezed in as if just to ask - but the doctor did a procedure for him first. Finally, when my procedure was done, the doctor just left. No directions on what to do next or even good bye. Shocking neglect from doctor and the medical personnel.

😠 Dr. Kakoyiannis Stelio is arrogant, impatient and condescending. Anytime you ask him a question is like you challenging his credentials. Treat patient always in very bad manner.

👍👍 I was worried about going to a podiatrist abroad, but was recommended Paphos Podiatry by someone at our hotel. Christiana (the Podiatrist) was really friendly and attentive - she listened to everything I said and worked with me to understand and treat the existing issue. I 100% recommend this clinic...
