Not fit for purpose - dirty, disorganised and very unprofessional so-called "hospital", avoid at all costs! I am a retired Respiratory Care physio and went there with what was an obvious chest infection, which only needed an appropriate antibiotic. I was not examined at all, and they tried to admit me for "further investigations", but soon back-peddled when I told them about my professional experience! This could have turned out to be a costly, and totally unnecessary in-patient stay - it was all a ruse to get my travel insurance company to pay for care that I most definitely didn't need. Absolutely disgraceful! My advice is to go to the public hospital instead if you need medical care whilst on holiday in Paphos!

I paid 230 euros for staying 3 hours of emergency care in a private room with intravenous fluids due to anaphylaxis (vomiting and diarrhoia). I was glad to pay since I needed immediate help. I received also buscopan and other drugs intraveneously. The doctors are fine and caring but they saw me only briefly. I spend most of those hours with nurses. One nurse, although she knew I cannot speak because my tonsils/throat was inflamed due to anaphylaxis, asked me like 100 questions of personal nature ''where are you from? are you married? what happened to you? do you work? if you dont work who wil pay for you? why you dont have insurance?''. Imagine almost dying from lack of oxygen and diarrhoia due to anaphylaxis and being asked all these questions. I tried to use sign languge to answer her but even that was too tiring. Then I got the bill after 3 hours and left the clinic with total cost 230 euro. I did wonder many times ever since if its humane sking someone who cannot speak, so many personal qeustions especially ''who will pay for your treatment". Indeed im not insured but how did she know that? I did say on check in that im not insured cause the secretary asked me (i wrote it on paper as i could not speak , i wrote ''i wil pay cash please help me''). The doctors were doing their job fine but I received I think some cruelty and snobism from one of the nurse staff.... Totally unacceptable. Then after many months I got a new bill? By phone call. A woman called and said I owe money around 700 euro because that day I paid nothing. When i told her I paid 230 euro on the spot but after so many months possibly i dont have the receipt she said she see nothing on her records on her computer and she see only a bill for 700 euro that i must be immediately. This caused me some anxiety. I searched to find a receipt but didnt. When i called her back stressed out she said happilly, ''oh its ok i found that you paid, dont worry''. :/ I did also some tests that i had to return after 2-3 days to take results. The doctor and the staff for tests told me ''you must pay for them'' as if I intended not to pay. I dont know why , but having no insurance means for them that im trying not to pay (cash)? It was a bit weird? as if im not entitled to basic respect just cause I pay cash. I never said I dont have money or i wont pay. They seem to help and cure only people who have good health insurance, if you dont have insurance, they seem to distrust you and you get a lot of doubtful looks by the staff. I always though that paying with cash is still payment?

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with any medical institution and believe me I’ve been in third world hospitals. Fist of all the place looked dirty, medical staff didn’t wear the masks in a proper way (under the nose, under the chin…) receptionists speaks some weird kind of English and was more interested in gossips than the clients, there’s no order so you have to guess which in line you are. In the doctor’s office there was zero privacy, people were coming and leaving as they pleased without even knocking on the door, at some point there was 6 people inside who had nothing to do with the exam. If you have any need for a medical assistance avoid this and go to general hospital.

“Dr. Antri” (Gynecologist), as she likes to call herself, but actually not a doctor at all. I’ve payed her a visit early June, first of all she didn’t get my history, she never asked for my background nor the reason I visited her. She checked me for 5 mins max and she told me I have something that needs to be blood tested to find that out. She told me to do some blood tests and as soon the results will come out she will contact me immediately. I got the first results after a day, waited for 3 days but she never called. I called her several times but no answer to her cell phone neither the reception. A month has passed and I got the rest of my test results so I decided to call her again. She wasn’t replying to my phone calls so I called reception again. They told me she won’t be able to come back to me at all, she communicates with patience only for emergency reasons. What kind of doctor is she? What kind of a clinic accept and approves her actions? I’m furious …

Unfortunately, the experience is not the most positive. Since Saturday evening, I have been suffering from a very severe pain in my stomach. I applied to this clinic because it is the only possible place where it was possible to do an ultrasound on Sunday. I did a gynecological ultrasound. Firstly, I had to wait for a doctor about 30 minutes, although they asked to come by phone before a certain time, since the doctor was leaving. Secondly, the whole examination took literally two minutes. The doctor looked at the stomach, saw the maturing egg and jokingly offered me to use this day, gave me a napkin and began to leave the office. I did not receive an ultrasound photo, as it is supposed according to the procedure regulations. I have already asked my questions to the doctor's back, who was in a hurry to leave the office. I felt that my questions irritated him. When asked if it was possible to print an ultrasound image, he replied that he had already cleaned everything. I did not insist and object, and didn't demand something more from this doctor. It became easier for me that there are no problems in the female part. But I can't recommend this clinic to visit. I was charged 55€. 50€ for ultrasound + 5€ for covid test, which was asked to be done before consulting with a doctor.

Very cozy relationship with Thomas cook. Went completely overboard with the treatment, presumably to milk the insurance.

Don’t touch this pathetic robbing hospital , nurses are great it’s the arrogant lazy doctors who try to be jailers who go home after promising your full treatment on the day and don’t ( you have the freedom or your own destiny and your total human rights to do what you want as a human being with these bill of rights as a member of the world human race ) and don’t have anyone tell you any different . i was in 2 days near enough with a chest infection and i’m a uk hospital id have been in maybe 8 hours at most fixed . go too the local public hospital you'll be fine .

My wife and I went to the Royal Artemisia for a PCR test before flying. They were very friendly and very professional and we had our results the following day. Highly recommended for this service.

Awful. No explanations from nursing team. Dirty. Left in the room for hours. No scope of medications currently taken. Stuck on drips for hours. People in and out of doctors room whilst consultation and no privacy. I discharged myself early as I thought it would be cleaner at home

I was on holiday and badly hurt my hand however when I got to the hospital they saw me straight away. Once the X-ray was finished one of the doctors took a proper look at my hand. I was in and out in about 45 minutes.

I had emergency dental treatment for a broken tooth at this hospital while on holiday in Paphos earlier this year. Despite the warm welcome on attending the hospital the treatment was an absolute disaster but this did not become apparent until I returned to the UK. I tried contacting both the hospital and the dentist concerned to discuss a refund of the 200 euros the treatment had cost me but they simply ignored my emails and gave no response whatsoever. As a result of the poor treatment the tooth root was split in half and the tooth had to be removed. The remedial treatment in the UK took several months to complete at a total cost of £1300. My recommendation is that you avoid this hospital and particularly the dentistry department if you possibly can.

I came in here a very poorly man and leave a well man, in the time I have been a patient here I cannot praise Dr Loukas and his wonderful medical team for all the care I have received I would also like to thank all non medical staff for all their efforts nothing was to much to ask and fulfilled our requests without any hesitation. I highly recommend this hospital and would not hesitate to return should I ever require medical attention. Stephen Carrington Cambridge uk

8 years ago I was admitted into this hospital, the care and attention l received was first class, after 16 nights hospitalisation I was allowed to go home, one problem, the administration staff said my policy didn't cover for my treatment which totalled 8, 750 euros they took 2,000 euros through the national health l had to settle the balance, having no ammediate funds l had to sign a disclaimer to pay the costs later, upon returning to the UK l contacted my travel insurance company, they admitted being responsible for an error of judgement regarding costs, they sorted the issue, l received compensation for the terrible service l got, happily l came out of it okay, in future I would advise anyone to go to the municipal hospital use your EC111 medical card it covers everything 👍

Highly incompentent doctors with one misdiagnosis after the other. When they finally get the diagnosis right, they discharge you with a presceiption that has the potential to kill you.

Not recommended. Definitely not on par for private facility. The 1 star goes to the emergency doctor solely. Did i mention the 900 euro bill for less than 12 hours care

Staff are amazing, dedicated and compassionate. Nothing is too much trouble. English and Greek spoken fluently by all staff I have met there. Dr Theo is a superb gynecologist and runs the hospital too. 24 hours means exactly that, specialists available 24 hours if needed. I have used them for about five years, never waited for more than ten minutes for anything from x -rays to minor ops, blood tests to gynecological matters. I recently saw them locate a linguist for someone whose wife was a patient and who didn’t have a good command of English. That’s caring. Ring them up and you’ll soon feel confident. They are located over the dual carriage way from Debenhams Korivos on B6 road towards Geriskipou from Paphos town centre.

Treated daughter's ear infection, was in and out quite quick on a Sunday night. got antibiotics and drops. Paper work and all receipts were ready to go. They're clearly well versed in holiday travel insurance claims. Others read to have had issues but I couldn't fault them.

I was taken ill on holiday and wasn't sure which of the hospitals near my hotel in Paphos I should go to. I'm very glad after asking around for having chosen the Royal Artemis Private Hospital. Thinking I'd be visiting for a few hours as an outpatient, I ended up staying for 3 days. All of the staff were extremely kind, highly professional and spoke English. My travel insurance company agreed to cover the costs. I was seen by a doctor promptly after arrival and then admitted. I had a clean private room with bathroom and I couldn't have wished for better attention and treatment. Arriving around 11pm, my wife was also offered a bed for the night. Meals were provided and each day after breakfast I was asked what I would like for lunch, dinner & breakfast the next day in case I was still staying with them. No one plans for or wants a hospital stay during their holiday, but I can't thank the staff enough for their excellent care & kindness and for making this unplanned stay as comfortable as possible.
