Dr. Kakoyiannis Stelio is arrogant, impatient and condescending. Anytime you ask him a question is like you challenging his credentials. Treat patient always in very bad manner.

My wife was asked, by our personal doctor, to see Dr. Vasos Vasileiou, the Evangelismos gynaecologist, to arrange a mammogram. From the outset, this 'doctor' had an aggressive attitude towards my wife and asked her what she was doing there. When she tried to explain, he told her to be quiet?!! Unfortunately, some doctors seem to feel they are better educated than their patients and as such have a condescending, (rude!), attitude towards them. I can't believe that this was an isolated incident and such an individual should not be working for the Evangelimos.

I don't have much experience with hospitals, hence I was terrified to go in. However, my whole experience with Evangelismos was wonderful, from the reception lady who kindly booked me in on the spot, to the lady who did my blood tests and of course, Dr Chryso who is just the nicest doctor ever. So patient, so careful, she listened and took great care of me. She did everything she could to ease my pain and took her time to explain my results. Yes, you have to pay - it's a private hospital. BUT if you have insurance, they offer medical reports and help with your claims. I have no bad words to say about this hospital. Excellent service, good people!

Very very very dissapointing situations i experienced there. The most recent one was calling and waiting for over 10 minutes without anyone saying anything. You dont know if you should keep waiting or if they forgot the call... but the worst thing was that once i went there in the night as an emergency with my girlfriend since she had a allergic reaction and couldnt breath anymore since here throat was swollen and kept swelling more. We just found some nurses sitting on the stairs smoking cigaretts which screamed at us from 5m distance we should go in downstairs. Noboey wanted to help or show us where to go.then we went in and after 15 minutes of searching we found a doctor who also sent us away and said they cant help usbecause they dont have emergency here even though my girlfriend couldnt get any air. Just insane...

My partner last week had an operation with Dr Petrides which went very well, but there seems to be a downside to this Hospital, I have spoken to a friend who also has stayed in there recently and had a similar experience of bad service from the Ward staff, for example my partner was given a chicken meal even though she told them she was Vegetarian and argued with her about this and said they would take it away, but she could have the soup which was Chicken Noodle again told them do they not understand about not eating meat products, and left her with only a hard bread role role and no apology or offer of an alternative, then she asked three times for a drink of water, no drink came also after the operation she asked for a dry night dress as the one she had because the cold compress leaked all over her, the female nurse took it away and never came back, only when a male nurse came in he got her a dry gown. The only good bit about this experience was the Anesthetist lady and the theater staff who were very helpful and professional. I don't think she would go there again if was not for Dr Petrides who was most helpful and professional throughout. I have spoken to others about this and two people I know have had operations recently in The Blue Cross Hospital and both had a marvelous experience and service not like Evangelismos Hospital.

I went to hospital for neck pain. They let me stay in hospital for one day (wasn't neccessary). All I needed was Voltaren injections twice a day. They put IV line in wrong vein and now I have permanent damage to my vein on the hand. What to say....

I booked an appointment with Dr Nestoras Michael because I went to him twice before and he seemed to be good and nice. For me is very important to find a gynecologist that listens to what I say and understand me, I was in a lot of pain and I had to wait 2 weeks for my appointment since he joined the γεση program.. so finally the day came I left work and I didn’t bring anyone with me cause i was rushing to go back to work. When I told him that I have a lot of pain daily and I think I way have some kind of infection ( had mirena coil in for 7 months) he started telling me that if you have multiple partners you have to use protection! I WAS SHOCKED! I told him that’s no the case and he told me to go inside so he can check me, (and I had a long day) he says everything is fine with you you don’t have anything to worry about and that I should use protection with my relationships for the second time and I explain him again that I don’t have.. he gave my some pills and cream for rash and I told him I don’t have a rash!! And he told me I will write it down anyway.. I asked him what about the pain I experience daily?? And he assumed that it haves to do with my intestines.. I never felt so bad in my life! He should be ashamed. ( if you choose to join a program and not take €70 for every visit, it’s your choice but it shouldn’t change how you treat your patients)

I received an amazing care from Dr Ioanna Lardou who is very caring and professional. I was lucky to be under her care and feel immense sense of gratitude to her. Staff on the ward was also very caring, attentive and kind. Facilities are very high standard as well. I am very happy with my experience.

Very good hospital with professional friendly staff, i did a meniscus repair and i stayed one night there, the food was just amazing ,the bed is so comfy i didn't want to leave 😄 as Covid around the corner one of the protocols are that the doors should remain open and i could hear the nurses at night shifts occasionally which i didnt like, but am a light sleeper and my room was opposite them, my knee is still sticked its day 9 but by me be able to climb the stairs already🤸 i can say the dr that did my op Mr. Dimitris Aspros did a brilliant job. Another person you must meet (for whatever reason 😄) is Dr Silvia Lazaridu , a powerful energetic professional Doctor in the front line of casualty, with positive impact on everyone her funny calm personally will makes you forget that you are sick .. A big thank you for all the staff that took care of me at all times, i remember only Eleianora and Antonis and a great guy Chris, that seemed to be racing with time to help everyone he can.. All were extremely helpful and patient. Am so happy i found this hospital.

Avoid this hospital! The Doctors are liars. Always get a second opinion from a different hospital.

Re visit in May 12 2017. Awful,all they want is your money! My wife came in with a broken leg, was put in a cast. No painkillers given despite many requests, very abrupt, would not let me leave the building to get my wife a drink until I signed a disclaimer! Complained to matron Stella who was the most unhelpful person I had ever met, not interested, could not care less.

Good clinic, but wants MONEY MONEY MONEY

I didn’t like the service. I did an application at the hospital for my medical studies so i could practice a month there. They told me for granted that i could do it there but after two days they have cancel it. I lost time waiting for their answer and now i can‘t complete my one month practice (nursing assistance) at other hospitals because of the luck of days.

My scheduled visit for surgery at Evangelismos Clinic was a complete nightmare, and I cannot express how disappointed I am with their level of care and professionalism. Before arriving at the clinic, I followed all the necessary pre-surgery instructions diligently. I refrained from eating and taking my medication as instructed, only to be greeted with utter neglect upon my arrival. After being connected to IVs for what felt like an eternity, I waited for a staggering FOUR hours without any sign of progress or attention from the staff. Despite repeatedly asking about when I would be attended to and prepared for the surgery, I received nothing but empty promises and vague responses. The most frustrating part was being told to wait "just 10 minutes" every single time I inquired about my status. Those 10 minutes stretched into hours, leaving me exhausted, hungry, and anxious about the delay. I understand that medical facilities can be busy, but this level of disregard for a patient's well-being is inexcusable. The fact that I had to go through the entire day without eating or taking necessary medication, only to be treated with such apathy, is beyond comprehension. I felt like an inconvenience rather than a patient in need of urgent care. The lack of empathy and attention from the staff at Evangelismos Clinic has left me deeply traumatized and questioning their ability to provide competent medical services. I had hoped for a smooth and professional surgical experience, but what I received was the complete opposite. I wouldn't wish this harrowing ordeal on my worst enemy, and I strongly advise others to reconsider seeking treatment at this clinic. In conclusion, my visit to Evangelismos Clinic was an absolute nightmare. The disregard for my health and well-being, coupled with the endless waiting and empty promises, has left me profoundly dissatisfied and emotionally scarred. This clinic needs to seriously reevaluate its approach to patient care before more people suffer like I did.

Awful hospital. I took my 21 month old daughter on advice from a walk in clinic. Despite my first words being how much my daughter was scared of strangers about 5 staff started to pull her in all directions. They didn't listen at all to us as parents and treated her roughly and without compassion. They also didn't listen when we said her symptoms were identical to those she had had some weeks earlier which was diagnosed and treated as a chest infection. They also prescribed medicine which would have been highly expensive to administer (buying a special machine for over €100 rather than the alternative of €30). I am disgusted that medicine appears to be practiced with a clear monetary objective. Avoid at all costs.

Just had a knee replacement operation at Evangelismos hospital. Excellent surgeon. Very good 24 hour nursing care. Very efficient. The only downside is the food, which is not very appetising. Otherwise no complaints at all.

The appointment was planned at 18:45 and we have been waiting over half an hour and there’s 1 patient in-front waiting. I wish this type of issue gets resolved in the very near future.

Was at Evangelismos Hospital for surgery at beginning of September. The surgeon who operated on me, Dr Stelios Kakoyiannis was excellent and treated me as if he had known me for years. Also praise given to all the nurses who constantly monitored me and all who were involved in dealing with me. Cannot thank the staff enough and I feel so so much better since this operation.

Amazing experience with the staff of this hospital. I was treated very well. I had a major surgery-hip replacement and 6 days later I am walking without support. Absolutely super hospital. Kudos to Dimitri Aspiros and his professional team.

I have always been treated in a polite and efficient manner. The urgent care team in the emergency reception were excellent. Admission and treatment were very professional. Office staff were very understanding coordinating my insurance claim. Keep your policy details and phone numbers handy with your tickets or passport. Food during my stay was nutritious varied and simple. Physiotherapy was accepted and enabled an earlier departure. Internet was available for your phone apps and communications.

The recorded message when calling the hospital is in Greek only, with no option of selecting English. In a country seeking to attract overseas visitors, this a surprising shortcoming for a major provider of health-related services.

My second week after amazing 1st class treatment at the Evangelismos Hospital having had a knee replacement by my Surgeon Dr Petrides & referral GP Silvia Lazaridou After 1 week I was walking WITHOUT a zimmerframe & crutches. The hospital was friendly, clean & the food excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend their care & facilities THANK YOU 🙏❤️

Very helpful and polite staff at both sites. Dr Aspros and his team who I meet in orthopaedics was a pleasure to meet . So attentive and kind. Totally recommend. In one hour i was seen twice by the lovely doctor, had an x-ray and was given a solution to my problem. Would not have got that in the UK. My appointment was given to me with in 1 week from seeing my GP. Really excellent care and kindness. Thank you so much.

Excellent General Surgeon I have had very good experiences with Dr. Christos Georgiades. Both the preliminary talk and the examinations were detailed and speedy. The indication for the operation was clear. The appointment and the entire perioperative process were professional and friendly. There was a pain regime after the operation, so that I was almost painless. Both the surgeon and the administration provided support in communicating with my insurance company, IMG (absolutely not recommendable insurance). Couldn’t fault anything about my emergency visit today. Every single staff member; reception, doctor, nurses. Completely looked after me the moment I pretty much broke down the minute I walked through the door I’ve never had any pain like I did today all on my left side. The staff, doctors, were incredible. 3 hrs later I’ve been checked for potential heart problems had bloods taken and results given finally had cortisone injected into the pain area. Couldn’t have asked for better treatment. Amazing hospital. Thank you 🙏🏻 truly grateful 🙏🏻

I attended Ms Greenalgh PhD, during January 2016, for the purposes of a report for the law courts, regarding my husband's domestic abuse, as reported twice to the Paphos police, prior to my appointment with the aforementioned practitioner. I was, during that time subject to a left temporo-parietal seizure, with no history of such a neurological event. I awoke from my seizure, noting a three point burn mark on my left lower limb, and an adjunctive temporary loss of motor function. A year later, the scars thereof were still present. I emailed the hospital director, when, having researched, that, Ms Greenalgh, had, infact, been struck off the UK Psychology register, for a year, prior to her Evangelismos posting, but I received no response to my email.
