Nice old monuments. Be aware of the heat and not enough water stations. Not too many descriptions around the monuments. Good walk in a huge park. Nice day trip if you are in Pafos. 4,5 euro entrance which is a bit hefty but it's a tourist attraction and is priced similar to others.

Stunning scenery with the lighthouse in the back the amphitheatre is impressiv to visit. The Odeon, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in Cyprus was built in the 2th century AD and shaped entirely from perfectly hewn limestone rocks. To the south of the Odeon are the remains of the Roman temple of Asclepius, God of Medicine and to the north are remains of ancient town walls. Next to the Odeon and near to the New Paphos Lighthouse is a rocky mound which is said to have been the Acropolis of the town

While most of the archeoligical site is pretty genuine, this is just a modern rebuild, its ok though as you pay to enter the whole site and it is HUGE, woth the money if you have the time to explore the whole place and bring some water and some sade from the sun, you'll be here in the site for hours.

I saw a girl saying some poems there and it was pretty nice. But colosseum was better.

From this little cozy amphitheater you can gaze on the town’s central plaza (Agora), and imagine the crowds wearing funny togas going for their shopping or concert. Above you is an odd cave and the local lighthouse. Definitely visit this spot for the atmosphere. Take a hat and water, as it’s all open ground.

It's a little run down but it's still worth a look. There are a number of routes in but some of the fences have been destroyed so be careful near edges

In the Odeon, musical performances were given. It is semicircular in plan and was built against a support wall. The Odeon consists of an auditorium and an orchestra. Two parallel passages and the stage of which part of the facade and the paved floor are preserved. The building to the south of the Odeon has been identified as an Asclepieion; it is the sanctuary of Asclepius and a medical establishment.

Amazing history and culture here! €4.50 for entry which is an absolute bargain. We spent easily about 3 hours here just walking around and soaking up the architecture!

A magical experience to get to sit where people would gather to watch performers at the very same spot one’s sitting at today!

The seats in the Odeon were not padded or comfortable. They were stone, so really needs an upgrade. There were no movies being screened on during my visit and not even anywhere to buy popcorn, hotdog or even a soda. I just stroked a local stray cat for entertainment on my visit. He was most friendly, I might add. Not sure of his name, but he was black and white. 👍🐱

I really enjoyed my visit here, sadly the weather was not great but it was so nice to actually be able to sit on it. It's what you'd expect, nothing more nothing less.

The Odeon steps are in amazing shape. It was very fun to stand on the top of them and look out onto the massive field and imagine what you would have seen thousands of years ago! Amazing!

Best preserved mosaics I've seen to date. Download the free audio guide app when you arrive that can explain the history as you walk through.

👍👍 One of the best views here in Pafos. Would everyone recommend this place who wants a relaxing and nice day. Sit on a bench, read a book and enjoy the view. The entry is 4,50€ for the whole park.
