If I am asked to think of the most ideal beach I've been to, this might currently be my number one. Wow. Just wow! I am a connoisseur of fine beaches and have been to many in my time on Earth - not many tropical ones, though. Ask me about beaches in the UK and I'll wax lyrical about them but this is on a whole other level. True the main part of the beach closer to the holiday resorts and VIP luxury villas were something we were keen on avoiding so we found this at the furthest reaches of the area. We didn't have to pay for the sunbeds or umbrella but felt guilty so we did go and buy some rich chocolate milkshakes! The sea was clean and blue reflecting the awesome skies above. There weren't that many people - it was busy but in a way that did not affect our ability to relax. My friend enjoyed swimming in the sea and said it was cool and fresh. While I didn't join her, I did gaze out into the horizon beyond which is one of the moat therapeutic things I know of. My months of work in smelly noisy dusty London were finally rewarded with an afternoon here in one of the paradises on Earth. If you are ever in Cyprus, I really think you should come here. You won't regret it. And you'll leave devoid of any stress, sadness or anger weighing down upon your shoulders.

Positiv first, long beach with plenty of space as long as you move away from the rented sunbeds. They have build wave breaker to aviod the largest waves. Reasnable shallow so OK for most kids. Sand mixed with gravel. Plenty of parking roadside. Negative, the beach is not the most clean... Seawead mixed with cigarrettes and other small plastic items. Guess it is quite common to see rubbish floating around here... The municipality should clean it more regular.

Date of Visit: 22 May 2023 Pros: • Quiet and spacious, perfect if you want to escape the crowd Cons: • Full of stones and sea grass • Water is not clear I know it's well-rated but I've been to many beaches especially tropical ones and this one is just underwhelming.

Nice beach for a walk up and down with good view of the planes taking off over the sea - Not sure how clean the water is though - Paddled but did not swim!

Colloquially known as "Ricco's beach". A big hit with the locals and if you want to get away from the crowds at Coral Bay, this is the spot. The sea is lovely and the shore is comprised of sand and pebbles. The snack bar also does the finest orange juice this side of the Mediterranean.
