Located quite central in Pathos overlooking a square. Great for sitting outside and watching the world go by. Friendly staff and owner. Many vegan options and a mousakka that is home made and i would recommend. I'll be back. Home made chips look good too.

Nice place away from the tourist restaurants and just past the club area - but still only 5 minutes walk from the sea front. Owners are genuinely friendly, menu is good with several authentic Cypriot mains that are vegetarian or vegan. Good quality food.

It's a true gem. It's a small place, so they don't have enough staff to serve some mass-produced junk food. The dishes were fantastic, each with a rustic touch and a distinctive character. I didn't have a feeling I am visiting yet another restaurant in Paphos. I went for set menus and I think it's a good choice - you get a wide variety of food, portions are big and overall it's quite cheap.

Fantastic food, amazing hosts Fitos and Maria, just the most warm and loving people. We opted for the set menu, and boy was it delicious and super filling, not to mention the table bread just refills itself. Starters hummus and tatziki come with a warm pita, the spreads are generously served. The squid was so fresh and by far the most delicious calamari I've ever eaten. Creamy and thick tubes. Yogurt with honey (from Fitos' cousin) was amazing, sweet and yummy. Ended with their delicious homemade ice-cream complementary as it was just freshly made. Food, quality, hospitality and atmosphere 10/10 recommend

Very very friendly people!!! Great food!!! Were stuffed!! Had the mezze and the lady fingers (lots of cinnamon). Everything was prepared fresh and came as we ate which was very relaxed. The white house wine was great too! Thank you very much!

This traditional Cypriot taverna is not here for sausage and chips (don't even ask). It's not a gourmet restaurant either. What you get is a taste of authentic home cooking that every Greek person would come home to at the end of a working day. It's a family run restaurant, and yes there is a Fitos and Maria who provide a friendly and attentive service in a typically chilled manner. A truly hidden gem easily missed by those more interested in chicken in the basket.

If you want to experience true Greek hospitality and local cuisine you should definitely visit Fritos & Maria! I had seftalia and mousaka, both delicious and homemade! Then I had the traditional sweet called finger, which Maria makes her self, sooo tasty. If I could give more stars I would! Just lovely!!!!

Fantastic family owned restaurant that was so good we went twice! The house wine was incredible, the rose ice cream sublime and they made us a local special dessert with walnuts, apple and honey which was quite simply the nicest pudding I have ever eaten. They don’t take cards but it was €75 euros for 5 of us with wine so very very good value

This place is amazing. Yesterday I went there with my girlfriend and we had an absolute fantastic evening. The service was more than friendly and not too pushy. We enjoyed our food like we hadn't in a while. We ordered the fish meze for 2 people and 1l of the white house wine. The meze was full of tasty food and fish. The last portion was an especially tasty fish. The house wine tasted a little bit like retzina. We liked it very much. In addition we got self made rose ice cream on the house and after we paid we got some free shots of an self-made liqueur and a guided tour through the restaurant. There are quite some treasures to see and the couple (Fitos & Maria) who is running the whole show is friendly simply nice and friendly. We'll definitely come again.

😐 We ate here after all of the 5 star reviews, but left disappointed. The calamari was delicious, but the chicken was a little dry (with no sauce), as was the lamb. The moussaka was 75% aubergine, so could have done with a little more meat in my opinion. The drinks weren't the cheapest either, espec...
