    I visited the branch yesterday with a simple enquiry as a regular customer. However, the manager, he was bald I remember!! Setting in a room inside , was extremely rude and unhelpful. Despite my attempts to be polite, he treated me with disrespect and it felt like it was based on my race. I am extremely disappointed by this experience and will not be visiting this branch again. I will be sharing my experience with others as well.

    Never buy products from this location ! The personal is untrained and impolite ! On 24 February I bought an digital alarm clock and when I tested at home I noticed that is damaged. It was to late to return it on the same day because the store already closed so I returned the next day asking to replace my product and after I waited one hour the service department person after the personal told me that he use the toilet for the moment ...I go and ask again on the cashier and she told me that actually he is there but is too busy having to many people to deal with... Finally I decided to stay on the row waiting again to reach the service guy. I told him my problem and he asked me if I still have the box of the product... I answer him that I have it but when I opened the product I cut the box into pieces to fit into my garbage not thinking that the product may be damaged but after I noticed... I collect the cuts of the box and special the part with the code of the product and returned together with the invoice and technical notes from the box. Finally he decided to call another person from the store to replace me the damaged product.. The new person go and find the similar product and bring it packed and he start to look at it again and again ...after some time he asked me the same question if I still having the box of it and I have to explain again the "broken story of the broken box". He was looking at my pieces of the box telling me that there is no box ..just pieces...and he need the box in order to send the product to service...and I explain to him that I don't want the new product box just the product and he can use the new box stick my product code piece on the new one in order to send the damaged product to service. He was keeping answer me that I have no box and he can't do anything so I lost patience and collect my things with my new" broken product going with the affirmation that I will never buy anything from the Public store . Actually on the invoice is not mentioned that you have to keep the box of the product in order to return it and as far I know that if you have returned the product within the 7 day period they have to replace it if is damaged. The value of the product it was like 40 euro but the point is that the personal is rude and untrained !!!

    There is no customer service. I asked an employee to assist me in finding something, and he sarcastically told me we don't have it while turning his back to flirt with a female colleague. I looked around and discovered what I was looking for. However, as a result of that behavior, I did not make a purchase. Never, ever again!!

    You might think why go to Public when everything on Amazon is 30%-40% cheaper and arrives to Cyprus within 5-6 days max. Well the place is local and should have better service (it must have better service to compete with Amazon right?). LOL. Nope.Terrible customer service. Amazon it is.

    WARNING: ripoff prices, 50% more than Amazon! Pictured is a 128GB SanDisk microSD card, 29.90€ at Public, €17 on Amazon (without delivery though). Another comparison: DJI Mini 2 drone - €599 at Public vs €399 at Amazon.de. Other than that, nice clear store with a decent variety of electronics. Staff pointed out quickly where microSD cards were.

    The selection is very limited, at least as far as electronics are concerned. Books are plentiful in the small shop. It's strange that the employees still don't have a clue about your assortment. When you ask for an item, they first have to check if it is available. Don't be disappointed if you get the information that the item is not there, because you have a good chance of finding it yourself. You can find more item information on the internet. The seller will also advise you to do this. Many items cannot be removed from their packaging. It is a pity to see how little interest sellers can have in selling something.

    We came today to buy some Lego, but found very nice chopper in kitchen appliances, the box was open, and, what looked strange, it was not displayed, but was standing on the low shelf in the open box. We came to the cashier counter ready to pay, ‘coz we really liked it ‘coz of Pyrex glass bowl, so we asked the cashier to check if the engine is working by simply plugging it into the socket. And the cashier send no, what I would accept if the box was not standing open. The cashier and service attendant from the service stand there insisted that we pay before any check-ups… again! it would be reasonable if the box package was not open!!! Both the cashier and service attendant referred to store policy, and third time I say, it would be absolutely fair if the box was untouched! As a result, we refused paying for an already open box, and Public has lost the customer! Never again! I’d rather go to Limasol or even Nicosia to buy something I need but not this store! And don’t tell me I could open the pack myself, there are cameras all around the store, and it easily can be checked!

    PUBLIC !!!!!!!!! AVOID IF POSSIBLE. NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.MADE PURCHASE ON 1ST JULY WHICH WAS AUTHORISED BY BANK OF CYPRUS. PUBLIC SAID CARD WAS DECLINED. OUR MONEY PUT ON HOLD.HAD TO PAY CASH. DESPITE SEVERAL EMAILS AND A VISIT TO PUBLIC IN KINGS MALL WITH A LETTER FROM BANK OF CYPRUS CONFIRMING TRANSACTION WAS AUTHORISED AND A REQUEST FOR OUR MONEY TO BE RELEASED. NOTHING WAS DONE NOW 20TH JULY. STILL NOTHING. THANKFULLY I MADE CONTACT WITH J.C.C. SMART. PROBLEM RESOLVED WITHIN A VERY VERY SHORT SPACE OF TIME. THANK YOU J.C.C. PHILIPPA.

    I would have given zero stars if it would let me. Products don't work straight from the box (last 4 items I've bought) and their only solution is to carry out a repair on your brand new product. Having to repair brand new, never been used products does not bode well for the quality and longevity of the product. And you can forget any customer service - they've got your money and have no intention of giving it back.

    This is the 3rd Public store we have visited where they don’t seem to have any stock of anything except display items, Greek books, chargers and useless items which have nothing to do with technology or homeware. Surely there are other electronic/homeware stores in Cyprus? If so, I recommend to go there.

    Promote a discount but charge you different price. Noticed this already far away from the store. Means they stolen from me 15 EUR. (Charged 20 instead of 4.99). To drive to the store to argue about it will cost me about the same on fuel. So next time better avoid Public. Bedlam store.

    We bought coffee machine from that store. After half a year it broke but the guarantee had to cover it. We waited almost for 4 months while it was getting "fixed " ! Called million times only to hear that they will contact us back but never did! But the funny part is that after almost 4 months of waiting they called us and said that it was lost on the way 🤦‍♀️ not only they didn't want to give the same new one but also asked money for repair, for the coffee machine that is gone 🤣 at the end they offered us a smaller machine that has to come in a "week" from Nicosia for free. Unfortunately that is not the first case of obsolutly horrible service! My advice, if you have any other choice of buying electric staff, chose the other!

    Very nice shop with electronics, books, toys and souvenirs. Had a problem with an item I bought there, and employees in the mobile section and on separate repair table helped me to resolve it! Thank you for your hard work, you made me really happy today.
