The waitress wasn’t nice and went somewhere while collecting our order. The food was definitely not fresh even though it said something else on the menu. Would not go there again.

Nice place to take a drink soft and/or alcoholic followed with good snack. Very good service and friendly sorrunding. Nice look at the harbour and just sea promenade . Take a rest and enjoy cool drink looking at walking tourists and blue sky and sea . Nearby to town bus station and Archelogical site entry .

Honestly after being harassed at a bunch of other places, we settled here. The food was a great at a great price and at the end there was a complimentary fruit plate which made things much better! Portion sizes were good!

Amazing, we didn't really think much of the look but felt a bit dizzy so needed to sit down And found a fantastic little place. I had avocado and prawns and it was so much more than that. A beautifully presented salad very fresh and crisp avocado was perfect and nice amount of prawns Partner had eggs and chips and was impressed not greasy and eggs just right. We returned that evening for a local Brandy and the negroni I am very fussy about them and have to say this was one of the best I have ever had, and possibly the cheapest. The local Brandy was very good, even myself who doesn't like brandy thought it was nice. The staff were very attentive and kind, especially the young man who took time to talk to us and make sure we would not miss our bus. We are planning on a few more visits here, the view is also spectacular across the bay and unlike other places don't mark the prices up.

Always such a pleasure to visit the English Rose when we visit Paphos. Delightful lady always serves us (sadly don’t know her name) and so nice to chat and catch up with her each year. Sadly flying home today but will be back to make more wonderful memories again next August (2022). Thank you x

Went for a few beers here on the harbour front, great location but the service was a bit to much. I asked for a beer and cider, he went away, then another chap came and asked did we want those beer and cider. I replied yes, he went away. Then the original chap came and asked us again what we wanted. I told him this was the 3rd time of asking, and he said ignore the other chap. Eventually we got the drinks. Did not stay for anyone, did not want to go round and round again.

Such a good time ! Really good cocktail for 4,95euros all day. The food is tasty too. The waiter is very nice. We will come back !

Lovely views and fresh cooked food

We were going to eat at a larger restaurant on the corner. They were so rude, that we left that place we were not going to pay for downright harassment. We walked a couple of shops down and found English Rose. So quaint and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. The drinks were excellent. The view was excellent. We were very happy we stopped there.

Food is below acceptable level. Pizza frozen from the box, not even properly done. Burgers are nowhere near real burger. We are not coming back for sure. I don't think they care because with tons of tourists from over the world coming to this town almost all year round, they will always have some customers. Especially with the location on the main street in town. But I hope if we can warn each other maybe at some point the owners will change quality of food or go out of business. Just as a consolation, I can assure everyone there are many good places to eat in Pafos. English Rose is not one of them. Don't go there.

I would call this place 50%. Anything you get is like "Yeah, but I had better". Make sure you visit in Happy hours.

Best bar in the harbour and lovely food. Staff aren't pushy trying to get you in. We liked it so much we went there everyday food and drink not expensive I highly recommend

Great location, comfortable chairs, passable food. Tasteless tomatoes, fries, and breaded skampi.

Staff are wonderful and service and quality of drinks are generally very good, however if you see the owner and/or bar manager making your cocktail my suggestion would be to leave immediately since the amount of spirits / alcohol is so miniscule it's impossible to identify the drink. When challenged he becomes very aggressive and rude. Wouldn't return even if drinks were free!!

the food was ok, not out of the ordinary but it took almost 45 minutes to be served. the waitres didn't gave us much attention when we asked about the delay. the bartender was nice to let me charge my phone at the bar.

Absolutely disgusted by the service and quality here, waited over an hour for to breakfasts and we were the only people in here… now I know why 🙄 poor guy had to do all the work as what I’m assuming was his manager was to busy calling and texting her friends or fixing here hair and make up.. when the food came out it was stone cold and missing items! Best part of the whole thing was the coffee and grapes. Would not recommend unless you like cold, fishy tasting eggs! Tried to add a picture but it wouldn’t let me

45 minutes wait in an empty restaurant for a half raw pork burger. The beef ones was a 50/50 mix of cooked or raw. 3 dishes sent back to be cooked longer and all came back the same. The waitress has no emotion and could not care less. The chef has no clue on how to cook. Avoid if you want to have a good cooked burger unless you fancy a night on the toilet

Unexpectedly good! Prices reasonable for a harbour front bar. The menu is simple, traditional and delicious. Often English-themed bars are a bit 1970s. This isn't, it's just good.

A place of wonderful cocktails and great service. Comes complete with a beautiful sea view and it's nice to be able to watch other happy holiday makers walk past whilst enjoying their day. They also have heaters for the cooler nights.
