The only place that would accept 4 small newborn kittens and actually managed to find a mother for them to feed them. They are very orginased and they will do their best even if they are not being sponsored from the government. Please donate if you can to support them.

This animal charity based in Paphos are amazing. They do such great work with limited resources and money. We found a one month old kitten with no mother who needed to be looked after and we couldn't find anyone who could help us at all. The local shelters declined as the kitten was too young and they didn't have the volunteers to look after it. We tried our luck calling these guys and they said they would accept the kitten without any problem. So we drove from Ayia Napa to Paphos to drop the kitten off to them. They were amazing, they were really accomodating, they care so much about animals, they have limited volunteers and they have so many animals in their shelter they don't turn any animal in need away....if you need to adopt a pet I would highly recommend you do it from these guys. Or if you can't help in that way then donate to them, they need all the help they can get.

Every time I go to Cyprus I end up at the shelter! I want to volunteer but unfortunately I just currently don't have the time. The sanctuary is a caring place and very resourceful. You can tell how some of the animals have been mistreated in the past and its fulfilling to see them have a peaceful life. I would recommend visiting to show your support. The cats are adorable and jump on you at any possible moment. If you don't want to go to the sanctuary, you can show your support by going to the charity shop or tea room (that's where you go to volunteer), or you can also donate old rags to the charity shop which will be taken and used at the sanctuary! In addition, if you're not use to donkeys and horses be careful waking around, most of them are friendly but especially when in season some of them can be unpredictable, but other than that they're sweeter than honey! Please help these animals as its not their fault xx

Amazing place with so many animals that need a new home. Everything from cats and dogs to donkeys, goats and horses. It's a great environment to protect them all. A very big piece of land for them to roam free on. They seem very well cared for.

Give them 2 baby cats, which found. They eat "normal" food and actually don't need mother milk. After 1 week they die all. How? Why? They can't tell me, I'm not sure that happend. But this is very suspicious, and confirm the other story's that I hear about. May you can think that happend.

Admirable work by volunteers and you can walk around in the middle of the donkeys and horses and cats. Dogs here too but kept behind the fence naturally. No entrance fee but I gave a donation anyway as they are a charity.

Went in to visit and take some food for the cats and donkeys as my daughter had been there last year, the staff do a brilliant job and are very helpfull and caring and appreciate the food donations, we would have taken food for the dogs but didn't realise that they were there.

Very well organised rescue operation - I got my beautiful, friendly, family dog, Argo, via one of their airlifts :)

This place gives me hope. One of the few shelters that never turns an animal, of any kind, away, and is constantly out there , working with the community to educate the next generation as well as rescuing and sheltering hordes of animals from all kinds of suffering and abuse. The staff and volunteers work so hard for so little recognition but despite this, the shelter is a happy place. Keep up the good work ARC, and everyone please support them as much as you can!

The volunteers are friendly but the owner is not a nice person. They ask for 270€ to adopt a dog. Other shelters ask for 150€. Some of the animals look malnourished..

I took my daughter and grandchildren there today and to see the animals so well looked after and have chance to spend time with the dogs and give them some love was very rewarding if I was rich I would give them half of my money to help feed them the land they got there is really nice the donkeys and other animals look happy another my grandson is ten years old and when we were in there he cryed we asked what was wrong he said it's sad why they have not got homes he fell in love with a German sheppard so sweet I just wish when people get a dog they are four life

The municipality should do something for the smell that covers the avenue below the sanctuary...It is constant issue, I don't know who's responsible for this, but we just can't stand the horrible smell that comes from there EVERY EVENING. Any health service authorities doing their job seriously?? 👃🏻🤧
