THIS STATION IS CLOSED. The airport bus timetable is wrong. The times are incorrect and this bus station is still under construction. We’ve just spent the last of our time in Cyprus literally running across town to the other bus station in order to not miss our flight. We’ve now arrived at this bus station to find the bus is 17 minutes later than the airport timetable said. Stressed and exhausted. For such a popular tourist destination the lack of information is ridiculous.

There is no bus stop here in September 21!!! It is down to the market. Be careful

As of March 23rd 2023 the bus station of Karavella is still under construction so please use the coordinates of Ben to find the temporarily placed new busstation for intercity buses.

The bus station is not at the Google address, that's a government building of some kind. The bus station is below the amazing cafe Nero, we missed our bus because of this and have had to wait 2hours. Not much of a problem because this Nero is beautiful

Wrong location on the map. Somebody mentioned 2 extra hours spent because of wrong location.. For me it was extra 4 hours of trip and 60 EUR for taxi..

Very poor information about bus stops and bus routes, the place is not where Google shows, no bus timetables available at the place. On the website of paphos public transport it shows that from this station goes bus 604 which is not correct, we missed one bus when we found out that it goes from municipal market station. After waiting two hours in there, the bus just passed through and didnt stop on the higher level bus stop although there was its number on it. The worst public transport info I've ever seen. They're just making fools of the tourists.

Very poor bus station with no waiting room;bus info leaflets;info just on electrical display thin boards.Seating area for bus station mainly for InterCity travel to other parts of Cyprus is just hard seats with a metal sheet roof that is open to the elements.Free Public toilets at the end of the carpark but at night there is no lights on at the toilets thus open but pitch black thus have to take a torch.Local shops in area but area looks dodgy especially at night time.Away from main road in side street area but can find main road from here with some effort.Area in the evening in particular is deserted certainly in the off season.The worst bus station I've been to in the many I've used in Europe.I would strongly recommend avoiding if at all possible.

Nov 2021: All intercity buses to Larnaca, Nicosia, etc depart from the Old Market Station (5 min walk from Karavella Station)

I guess it's the only point to get to other cities of Cyprus, of course if you don't have a car. There is no infrastructure, communism style, public wc is terrible - however it is, there are a few cafe. If you are a tourist, it's hard to find the bus station. It shows that bus transport isn't strong suit of Cyprus, so think twice if you want to travel by bus.

Old one bus station. Links commuter transportation and longer distances as Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaka, Famagusta. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Karavella. I noticed gorgeous Ford Thames Trader there. Bus version. Probably from the early 1960s. The bus in service and constant use (2015). TFZ946 looked like the literal ‘gaffer’ but in perfect condition. In May 2015, I had one trip from Karavella to Saint Neophytos Monastery Tala. Service 604.

There's no bus station at the moment because of reconstruction

the official web page nor google don't tell you that the station has moved! instead, search for Cafe Nero nearby and take the green elevator down (Nov 2021)

It’s a bus station, nothing fancy. One hut sells local tickets, other one is for inter-city. Although going to Limassol we paid the driver €7 return. There’s toilets, some little shops and quite a few cafes. There’s a leaflet with bus times/info and bus has a destination sign in window. No complaints - it did everything we expected.

Still under construction. Intercity buses are down to market station. Very poor information.

As of Aug 2023, the Karavella bus station is still under construction, so no buses depart from here. Head to Municipal Market bus station instead. Route maps on Pafos buses website are sadly not updated

We caught an early morning bus to Larnaca therefore, the station wasn’t open, however, the bus arrived on time and was comfortable. The bus stopped at the right side of the station.

New building. Cool. The only thing I lack is an electronic schedule. But one can easily find it online. Or ask a friendly lady at the desk. :)

Today at around 7 o'clock the bus driver on 615 bus wearing a mask which was wrapped around his hat was extremely rude and was yelling at us because he didn't see when I showed him my student ID and was demanding that I should tell him that I have the I'd instead of showing him so he was so angry and yelling to everyone that he has 5 degrees from universities in front of everyone with no respect and a few other people complained about him a few days ago too... Horrible service bad people...
