A beautiful secluded beach along the Lara Road, peaceful and picturesque The sand is not as fine as your traditional beach but this is not a tourist beach for you ordinary holiday makers, it is a Conservation beach for nature. Set in a conservation area there are turtles nests which are not to be disturbed Bring water and don’t expect to see public amenities such as toilets or refreshment shops as there are none Be advised access is along loose gravel roads and hire cars may struggle, off-roader vehicles are recommended

Start the Rabelas gorge walk from here - a gentle stroll to the right of the beach car park.

Better to watch it than swim in it full of rocks and very ruff tide

this beach is very clean, and very lonely which is a big bonus! If you want to be more private, this beach is for you. Just keep in mind: there are quite a few metal "cages" which protect turtle nests, so don't just sit next to it, they are endangered, and if someone gets caught there is a possible fine, as turtles are an endangered species here in Cyprus. The sand is very hot in summer as expected and there are a few nice waves. The problem with that beach is, that I could not stand literally a 2 meters in... So you need to be a good swimmer, and it is not very relaxing.

V quiet beach. Bumpy old road to get there, but well worth it. No watersport mullarky going on either, so that's a result! Areas of sand and stones, plenty of room to sunbathe. Don't forget to pee before you arrive...

Nice place to go for a refreshing dive after visiting the gorges. Remember to put on water shoes.

Incredibly beautiful wild beach, where you won't see many people
