We had a great trek with Maria through the beautiful landscape around Lysos! The place is a little hidden gem, led with a lot of love and dedication. We liked that Maria showed us around her stable and introduced us to her horses and let us know about their individual stories. As for my partner it was just the second time sitting on a horse we first did 30 minutes of basic training, then we went for a light trek in the surrounding area. Maria knows a lot about the trees and herbs which grow all around and shares her experience and knowledge about the place. You are in very good hands with Maria and her lovely horses! My boyfriend and I did a night Trek with Maria and absolutely loved it! I had previous experience but it was my boyfriend's first time. This was not a problem as Maria gave us a quick class and after my boyfriend felt completely comfortable on his horse Albatross. We both finished the trek wanting more. We can definitely recommend Maria's horse trekking to everyone, experienced or not. Thank you Maria for the amazing experience, great conversation and recommendations of places to see on the island.

Debbie is wonderful hardworking person with a big heart! We were very impressed by the story of each horse. Those horses were given a second chance to live a happy life. You can see how healthy, glad and well-groomed they are. We had a great lesson before our ride, so we felt absolutely confident in the saddle. This is very important if you're not so experienced. Debbie's very patient and kind teacher so you can feel completely safe. We had a fantastic ride with Debbie and Tina, enjoyed the spectacular views around. But what brought us even more joy is spending time with horses after the ride! We learned how to take care of horses, how to wash, groom and feed them! That was a fantastic opportunity! We had a great time and hope to come back again.

This is a fantastic place for horse riding with beautiful nature and scenery. We loved the friendly environment and learnt a lot from Debbie's both fun and interesting lessons. The horses are very well-behaved and obedient. We didn't only improve our riding skills, but also loved building up a relationship with the horses, along with learning to saddle up, feed and care for the horses. We have just finished 4 days of horse riding school for our 2 children age 12 and 8. Well, it's not easy to find the words that will describe our feeling- in one word- A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. First of all- the staff from Debbie to Jane, Louis, Fibbie and andreas- all so lovely, professional and caring. Debbie you are really inspiring with your way! second the horses- are so well kept, so full of love and confidence for our boys. third - the area of the farm is so beautiful- even in 36 degrees we had such fun exploring the different treks. We are so happy that we met you, our boys learned so much in 4 days- not only riding but mainly how to build relationship with those amazing horses that Debbie give so much love to. So if you want to have an unique experience of the mountains of Cyprus, and if you love nature and horses- Maria's horse trekking is the best place. Thank you so much! What a beautiful place! The horses are so nice and responsive. It was my partner’s first time on a horse and it was such a pleasant and relaxed experience! Our dog was allowed to come with on the trek, which was great exposure for her (we go hiking, but not with horses). Love the atmosphere and how well the horses are taken care of. We hope to come back again one day!

Friendly environment, professional approach and an obvious, genuine care for the animals. Most horses are rescued animals but would have not guessed it, as their condition today is great. Horses look very well nourished and healthy. Maria is a professional at her work and a lovely person as a personality, kind and hospitable. Would definitely visit again.

It was amazing first experience of riding a horse. The hostess was super friendly and professional from the first call and offered the best conditions. And in general there was a feeling that we were not clients, but friends. The horses are well trained and obedient. We were even allowed to stay to groom and feed our new four-legged friends. Strongly recommend!

If you are looking for a beautiful evening experience, I HIGHLY recommend this!!! Debbie Maria was fantastic with myself and my partner Jess. Jess has a lot of horse riding experience and was paired with Lita who was very friendly and comfortable with her. I have no experience on a horse, and was chosen by Albie, with him moving to me and nuzzling me multiple times, (he wasn't the horse we had originally planned for me to ride) Albie kept our pace smooth, going uphill or downhill, and kept me comfortable at all times. Debbie Maria showed us ruined villages, the best views, and told us all about the local history, and was an absolute delight to spend our evening with!

I booked the activity through Debbie which did many efforts to find suitable time for us. We really enjoyed the horse trekking with our lovely instructors: Linda and Lorna. The weather was perfect and pleasant. Highly recommend to families 🐎

Had a 1.5 hr trek today, it was fantastic. Maria was great, you can tell that she cares very much for the horses and they are very well looked after. The horses well being is definitely a priority. I loved being involved with getting the horses ready, giving them a groom. It helped me to get to know the horse that I was riding and get a bond with him before even starting. The whole family loved the experience we would definitely recommend it. Love to Maria and all the horses and dogs, you are doing such a great job and should be very proud of what you have achieved so far with building up the stables, they are all very lucky having such a kind and caring person looking after them xx

It’s the most amazing experience trekking in the Cypriot mountains! The scenery is so beautiful especially at sunset. Debbie-Maria is one of the most lovely persons I know. I startet riding at her stables in November 2020 and I am proud, to call my self a part of her stable team now. I made so many good memories with her and the horses. Highly recommend it!! Louise :)

I highly recommend going trekking with Debbie Maria. My brother and I had a great experience. Her team are very experienced and professional and will put you at ease. The horses are loved and well cared for. We were both complete novices with no riding experience but we had a thorough lesson first and felt very confident before setting off on the trek. The scenery and wildlife are beautiful and the views are breathtaking. DO IT!!!
