It's
exactly
one
year
back
that
we
spent
a
week
in
Eleni
Holiday
village
(last
week
of
september
2019).
Great
and
helpful
british
receptionist.
Regularly
cleaned
hotel
rooms.
Wifi
in
the
lobby
and
with
a
bit
of
luck
on
the
steps
in
front
of
the
room.
The
local
mobile
4G
network
of
my
roaming
operator
was
a
bit
unstable
compared
to
my
country,
but
worked
most
of
the
time.
Room
had
fridge
and
kitchen
equipment
like
cutlery,
microwave,
pans...dont
remember
exactly.
An
old
TV
with
moderate
choice
of
channels.
My
first
experience
with
AC,
needed
a
bit
of
time
to
set
it.
The
room
prolly
isn't
for
the
really
posh
folks,
but
most
people
would
like
it.
Nice
pictures
on
the
walls,
and
the
furniture
was
quite
decent.
Bathroom
was
nice,
i
did
accomodate
to
the
use
of
the
bin
to
throw
away
used
toilet
paper
instead
into
the
bowl
much
quicker
than
i
thought
i
would.
Nice
big
balcony
with
plastic
chairs
and
table,
we
had
a
great
view
on
seaside,
beach
and
the
monument
from
the
war.
The
cleaning
service
was
speaking
russian,
so
we
revamped
the
russian
basics
from
school.
Buffet
staff
spoke
several
languages
including
german.
The
buffet
on
breakfast
and
dinner
was
very
rich
in
variety
and
tempting,
but
i
took
use
of
the
large
swimming
pool,
small
fitness
centre,
a
nearby
protected
beach
and
newly
build
asphalt
pawed
running
paths
along
the
seashore
to
shed
the
calories
off.
The
beach
five
minutes
walk
away
has
an
artifical
laguna,
where
you
have
areas
for
walking,
swimming
and
diving
so
you
won't
get
sucked
in
by
the
dangerous
streams.
In
the
evenings
there
was
a
program
for
kids,
and
later
either
some
musical
performer
or
a
bingo/variety/discotheque
i
didn't
really
notice
well
but
it
was
quite
crowded
and
the
bar
staff
was
really
busy.
We
used
to
hangout
at
the
great
looking
lobby
with
comfortable
chairs
in
evenings.
Try
the
greek
mint
alcoholic
drink,
you
will
love
it
or
hate
it.
I
didn't
use
the
small
swimming
pool
indoors,
nor
the
one
with
volleyball
net.
There
is
a
small
chapel
next
to
the
swimming
pool.
In
2019,
there
was
a
housing
development
going
on
next
to
hotel,
so
i
think
it
will
look
nicer
this
year
but
generally
the
rest
of
the
area
around
hotel
was
really
neat
and
nice
and
for
me
it
was
interesting
to
run
around
the
streets
as
sightseeing.
Many
many
flowers.
There
is
an
old
church
next
to
the
hotel.
There
is
a
shop
in
the
hotel
and
two
others
nearby.
Didn't
go
the
the
restaurants
nearby.
The
24
hours
bus
transport
system
around
the
area
is
very
cheap,
frequent
and
reliable,
and
connects
to
every
interesting
sightseeing
or
place.
Direct
connection
to
Paphos
centre
with
a
shopping
centre
with
shops
and
food
court
with
Costa,
McD,
BK,
Friday's,
Taco
Bell
and
others.
We
went
to
a
boat
with
glass
bottom.
Been
to
the
huge
market
in
Paphos.
In
Paphos
there
is
Marks
and
Spencer
too,
bought
me
crumpets
and
other
things
there.
Reliable
hotel's
taxi
back
to
airport.
We
wanted
to
revisit
this
year,
but
due
to
the
corona
virus
situation
this
was
not
possible.
