This place has been a great surprise for us. We had the chance of tasting the traditional cuisine of Cyprus and fresh fish for a competitive price. The owners of this restaurant are a lovely couple that made us spend a wonderful time. We will come back.

Great food, comfy decor. Also offer takeway. Had pork braised with wine and it was great, portions are reasonable, served with a side of fresh vegetables and bread. Can't add a photo as I already ate it all 😂

Amazing food, real cypriot cuisine. Everything fresh ans sooooo tasty! Owners are the most hospitable, nice and warm people. Absolutly love everything about this place, feeled like home and dinner at my cypriot Grandparents. Came back next day on our way to the airport.

This place is a gem among restaurants! I was blown away by the quality of the food. Real tradition homemade Cypriot food! The service was great and the couple that own it were very hospitable. I highly recommend Akropolis if you are looking for amazing food at great prices with very generous portions.

Was about to visit a famous tavern nearby. Fortunately it was closed so I needed to change plans...and I needed to make it quick because of hungry wife and my kid;) why fortunately? Because everything what I expected from local tavern with tasty food and great hospitality was founded here. If you are done with all those places with fries and frozen fish...this is the place to go!

A very nice family restaurant. Fresh homemade food with natural ingredients. Their lamb is fabulous, fresh tomatoes have an exquisite flavour, nothing compared with the one you find in supermarket. And rhe most valuable, the service provided by the owners, a lovely couple who love cooking and are pasionated by it. We definitively recomend this place for those wanting to taste traditional cyprus food.

We were taken to Acropolis, by friends who live close by as it is easy to miss driving past. No menu, but a description of the food cooked fresh that day, and displayed in hot counter, by the cook. We were spoilt for choice, I had two small portions as I couldn't decide between pork and rabbit dishes. Still can't decide which I enjoyed most! The couple who run the restaurant are really friendly and it feels as if you are dinning in a family kitchen. Very pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the price was and can recommend it. Get there in good time for lunch to avoid disappointment.

We've passed this restaurant many times over the years and we decided to pop in for our lunch today - it was an excellent decision! Vangelis and Georgia are a delightfully friendly couple and the food is traditional tasty Cypriot fare. There's no menu as the daily choice depends on what is fresh and in season. We had lemon chicken, roast potatoes and vegetables with a small plate of tomato and cucumber. We shared a large KEO beer and Vangelis brought us chilled glasses - super. Everything was really delicious. There was a big choice on offer and we're planning on returning soon to experience more of the dishes. Takeaway or sit-down.

We were with my partner. We got a portion of filled paprika that were ok, and a small salad that had barely no feta. We got overcharged. I cannot recommend.
