Three star review for a three star hotel. We went October 17th 2021 for a week with our four year old and he absolutely loved it. The pools, water park, flumes and around the clock ice cream and slushes were a total hit. Whilst not spectacular the all inclusive selection was always fresh and hot with good variety. For me the snack bar and particularly the chicken gyros was fab. The rooms are in need of a little TLC and overall it was definitely a three star experience, nothing more, nothing less. That’s what we booked so we were totally satisfied. Free wifi is great, the entertainment was ok but in my opinion the mini disco starts too late at 9.00pm. Entertainment is basic but not terrible (just like the cocktails using local spirits). We didn’t see what you would class as a traditional style kids club during the day, but the water slides keep our son entertained for hours. Overall we had a lovely time.

I stayed all inclusive this past week with friends, I was in a room on my own. At a glance I’d say the room was modernised and well decorated… the first night I was there I found an ants infestation in the kitchenette and bathroom. As I was looking for the source of the potential nest, my electric went off and I was in pitch black. I went to reception to ask for a new room, to which I was told no. The receptionist said we’ll just get your electric back on a worry about the ants tomorrow. Two men came down with me and the fuse had gone and they just sprayed the visible ants with a spray. As I became upset, they became aggressive and wouldn’t allow me to keep the spray, wouldn’t change my room and shouted at me “would you like us to stay with you all night, what do you want us to do?!” They told me to call reception, but the phone I think was merely a prop on the table and wasn’t even plugged in. It didn’t get much better after that, I had ants in my bed! The hotel staff are extremely rude and I have no idea how this is a 4* hotel. All week we were felt to be an inconvenience! Not enough sun beds and the food is the same every day! There are no do not disturb signs for the room so the cleaner will just walk in on you. They need to rethink their management and customer service style! We won’t be back!

Staff are great, Anna at the poolside bar works her socks off. Rooms are excellent and have air conditioning free! A good place to have a family holiday. Any noise from the entertainment stops around 11.30 so the kids and the oldies can get to sleep. My only criticism was the music during the day. Some explicit rap played. Didn't expect to hear effing and jeffing at a family resort. Otherwise, it was a pleasant holiday. Food is OK and the drinks are plentiful

Very basic 3 star hotel, food always luke warm at best, son got food poisoning. Rooms okay but beds seriously uncomfortable. Sink kept blocking, cleaners not particularly helpful when I needed cleaning products to clean room due to sickness. Difficult to get served at bar but bar staff friendly. Entertainment rubbish. Receptionists were by far the least helpful staff . Only positive was short walk to town where you could buy nice food that was warm , no point doing all inclusive as you will end up spending lots on food.

Just back from a week at the Aquasol Village. We all had a great time and were lucky to get an inland view apartment approx 1min walk to bar and buffet and another minute to the water park. Buffet had a fab choice and local drinks/cocktails were served at the pool bar or, in the evening other main bar area. Reading other reviews I was a bit skeptical. Yes there were some ants in the room, not a huge amount and mostly in the bathroom sink-just don't leave toothbrushes lying down, simple! All staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Kids loved the water park - a tip if using the green slide is to stay upright - there are a few joins that can be a bit rough and hurt your back if lying down. Lazy river was great for both adults and kids. The only downside was that the hotel was at the bottom of quite a steep slope. I have breathing difficulties so any attempt at walking up took me 2-3 'catching breath breaks', however,my own fault for not researching the location more (and I've been to coral bay at least 3 times before so should have known!). Anyway taxis were quickly available - reception will phone one for you. I wouldn't go back, merely because of the location (and only booked there for water park as had our 2 grandchildren as a one off) As 2 single people in our 50s, we'd normally choose a villa but Aquasol is probably one of the best all inclusive hotels we've been to.

Our first holiday in all inclusive. We literally have no complaints! The staff work so hard but are on hand to help. The water park is lovely (buy or bring your inflatables). The food is tasty and has a different theme every night. After reading the reviews on here, we were concerned. The only thing is the big hill. If you have mobility issues. Maybe this isn’t for you? But it’s still a short walk to Coral bay strip. It’s not perfect. But it’s better than being at home! We have no complaints but bear in mind. This is our first foreign holiday since 2012!

Staff friendly and hard working, rooms clean and have all you need. Good pools and water park. Food is fine especially for the price. Location is fine, on the beach and near to shops and restaurants, also near to busy route to coral bay/Paphos. If you want a big hotel where you don’t leave the resort all holiday don’t come here, if you’re looking for a base that provides all you’re basic needs and a good pool this is a great place.

3 star hotel nothing more nothing less. Service in restaurants and bars excellent, all inclusive food was good standard and us and the children found plenty to eat during our week stay. The hotel is right on the sea but there is no beach to get into the water is treacherous across dangerous rocks. Kids club - there is no kids club, there are 2 entertainers. The children’s entertainer painted rocks with the children which was absolutely pointless and done 5 kids dances every evening except Wednesdays. Water park has everything you want, slides a lazy river and a splash zone for little ones. Hotel is maintained to an OK standard and the rooms Have modern bathrooms.

The hotel has a great waterpark facility, the food is what you would expect for the price. The room was not cleaned throughout our stay, we complained numerous times but they just stated they were short of staff. The staff were rude and abrupt and catered mainly towards the locals. Would not recommend

Not a terrible hotel for a 3 star, needs a lot of modernisation though. The food needs to improve a lot, we stayed there for 5 nights and only stayed for dinner once it was that bad - not wort the all inclusive. Location is good though, 20 mins walk to corral Bay and plenty of restaurants 5 mins walk. Wouldn't stay here again but did serve a purpose.

Got back on early Sunday from a fantastic 9 night stay here. Read the reviews beforehand and booked regardless. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Given 4 out of 5 based on our overall experience. I'll get the negatives out of the way first. We were situated in block 25 which was at the back of the waterpark. Arrived around 3am and the smell on the balcony wasn't great. Not sure if there's some sort of sewage thing going off in this spot but only smelt it very late at night. The food. OK. Its all inclusive so you are never going to get a la carte. You won't go hungry however, and there is a variety. Other people seemed happy tucking in. All the stuff about sunbeds being reserved wasn't an issue. Unless you wanted a specific part of the pool area, it was never a concern. We loved our time here. Maybe I'm a glass half full guy. I got stung by one of the wasps on the grass area but I blame myself. Alex, the entertainment guy in the day time was wonderful, most of the staff serving drinks were great too. Stefan, the lighter coloured hair guy on the pool bar and Valentino were lovely. Alway remembered our fave drinks. We hired a scooter from George up the road for 4 days which again added to our holiday. We heard Jet 2 might not be using them next year which would be a shame. Look, we loved our holiday, the rooms were clean and spacious. If you go looking for dirt you will probably find it. Like anywhere. Go with an open mind and enjoy.

Just spent 11 days here . First couple of days we throughly thought this is great but as we went on .. we had ants in the room and in our bath when asked at reception about this said they can’t do anything . Feel most of the bar staff drink on the job. Sun Beds get taken towels are all put out and the staff don’t say anything . People queue from as early as 9am for the water slide area to be open at 10.30 to get a sun bed can get quite heated . The food is actually good with the amount of the money only down fall is it gets so busy and pushing and shoving to get to the food . Also staff are walking round with trolleys grabbing any plates even if you haven’t finished . The sea is a no go it’s so rocky and dangerous. I feel this hotel needs more active staff and a make over . The entertainment is the same every week children disco 9-930 pm where the same songs are played and in the same order every night . Then bingo and then a dangerous fire man or a quiz Wednesday they have a day off . There are such long queues to get drinks as 1 or 2 staff working behind the bar no more for the amount of people in the evening. The spa is not a spa it’s so run down and actually no1 is in there looks quite scary . Lifeguards wow they don’t watch at-all on there phones the whole time . Water slide I had to sit and the Bottom as there was no life guard at the bottom atall . We managed to rent a car for a couple of days and travel all over which was amazing visited some great places . I think with a little tlc and better management this place could really be great such a shame .

Lovely hotel would definitely return. Right next to the beach about a 10 min walk to town. Be warned if you are elderly or struggle to walk there is a very steep hill to navigate up to get to town. Was all inc. Food was OK nothing special. Alcholholuc drinks wasn't great. Would not go all inc next time but never the less a lovely family deeindly quiet hotel.

they didn't accommodate us. they said that they would accommodate us elsewhere. they sent a taxi for us within 2 hours, which according to them was 20 minutes. with two children in the corridor of the hotel, we watched other children having fun in the water. And the slides that we went down there for, the children were really looking forward to it, so we just paid for them, because they sent us to a hotel with one pool with ice water, in which the children lasted 5 minutes and the cold purple lips and snot

Just spent 10 days here. The location is OK, but not pram or wheelchair friendly to say the least, and if you struggle walking the hill to get to the main strip is a killer. The hotel is OK, the facilties are great for the younger ones bit the entertainment let's it down and they could do more. The rooms are an excellent size and .ine was clean and I didn't suffer with any ant infestations but others did, my room was visited regularly and towels changed every other day, bedding changed 3 times, bit my Daughter had one visit to her room as did some other guests. The waterpark is good for the kids and adults if that's your thing, it's only small but fun. The lifeguards as well not be there, at on their phones all day and sometimes not even there at all. The staff are quite miserable and on occasions rude and it's a shame as it let's the ambience down. The food is not the best but unless your paying 5 star luxury it is what it is, having gone fully inclusive we wasted money as we ate out quote a bit because the food really isn't great. Overall for what we paid we enjoyed it but we wouldn't use it again

Bring your kids here, they'll love it. Great staff, great food, the place could do with a lick of paint here and there but remember this isn't a 5* luxury hotel. It is a 3*+ in my opinion. Entertainment every night, lots of bits for the kids to do, all the food and drink you can get down your neck, well worth the money. There is a steep hill to the main drag so if you're a salad dodger you'll have a sweat on by the top. It's a shame the other reviews tear this place apart, it's not justified tbf. Yes, the lifeguards don't talk, and there are a few bugs here and there, but who cares.? We came here with 5 adults and 5 children (3-13) and all of us had a great time in the sun.

All inclusive holiday village with a water park attatched. Good selection of different foods at each meal time. Generous pouring of drinks. The lazy river water was a bit murky and two of the slides weren't open. At night the entertainment was family friendly. I enjoyed the Cypriot dancing. The rooms are a decent size and air conditioning works well. It's at the bottom of a steep hill, so those with mobility issues may want to choose somewhere more suitable.

The staff were friendly and the pool facilities were fantastic for kids. Rooms are very basic, beds uncomfortable, food average. Good for a cheap getaway but glad to be in a villa up the road with more comforts. Evening entertainment is very family oriented (Butlins in the sun) and is very loud. Finished most nights at 11:30pm so not really an issue unless you have to be up early. It's right by the sea but don't come here expecting a beach hotel. There is no beach, just very rocky and then ocean. If you want to enjoy some beach days, you will need to travel

Friendly staff, we had all inclusive, the food was always nice and they keep replenishing it. The water park its ideal if you have kids. There is also access to the sea from the hotel which is nice. Rooms are ok but despite not keeping any food in the room there were ants everywhere. The quality of the alcohol and the wine was average

The room is nice and clean, very spacious for the two of us, just a minor ant problem at night. Amazing bar staff Marius who always interacted with anyone who went up to the bar and lovely manners. You also have Mario who tries to get everyone in resort involved in activities, making it a wholesome place. The beach at the front isnt the best as its a rocky, pebble beach but you can always travel 30 minutes up the road to coral beach that has shops and cafes etc.

Good size apartments and clean enough, nice water park, but watch your self and your kids as the lifeguards aren’t there all the time and when they are are almost sleeping. During the day, by the summing pool you would find an extremely rude bartender (lady) which screams and suers at the customers (by the end of the holiday she was through ice on us because we were talking in the line waiting) I have never seen someone so rude with the customers. Acceptable food for the price, but could be more better. The whole place needs a full renovation and some new nice and friendly staff.

Clean hotel and good pool area , a short walk from local bars, restaurants and shops. only 4 stars but would be more like 4.5 stars. Would have been 5 as the dinner buffet was not as good as the lunch time other than that was a good stay.

Good location, nice and clean apartment, great food! You missed the 5th star because the night animation, the man (English speaking) was really too loud and inappropriate.

Had a good time for the 10 days we were there, the placement and staff are great shout out to the pool bar staff, especially Nicolas and Mario! Food was good and close to the high street amenities which is perfect and welcoming. Highly recommend going down to coralia Bay as the beach is rocks until you're in the sea, however that didn't have an effect on us enjoying it, take beach shoes and snorkels , the fish are beautiful. It would be good to have some beach chairs on the beach, but we took them from the pool side, when they were available. Overall we enjoyed our stay 😀

  • 3/5 Davie G. 2 years ago on Google
Very clean and staff worn hard the food is a real let down. As a really unfussy eater even I was pushed to find somthing I enjoyed. You could argue this was reflected in the price bit still the worst all inclusive I have had.
