This business is truly disgraceful! Once they receive your payment, they become indifferent to everything else. I unintentionally made a double booking at this hotel, and despite one reservation being paid in full and not used, they refused to refund even a single penny! It's an absolute outrage! They exploit the fine print and policies that disregard the customer's welfare to pilfer money from guests. I feel like they have outright robbed me. Beware of staying at this hotel; their only concern is your money. This sentiment is glaringly apparent even during one's stay. For instance, when I expressed dissatisfaction with a meal at their bar, their nonchalant response was "it is what it is". Had they not charged me in advance for the dish, I would have refused to pay. Steer clear of this place! Consider yourself warned.

We got married 25 years ago in Paphos and stayed at Venus Beach hotel - we celebrated our Silver Anniversary by going back there. Perfect celebration. Met with congratulations, champagne and wine. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms, good food, great location with beautiful pool area, overlooking sand and sea. Great coastal walk to harbour, buses also regular if required. Will be back.

Hotel is located about 15/20min from airport (ā‚¬45 taxi). The staff at reception are lovely and helpful. There is a nice balcony bar where you could watch the sunset ( the staff there were always great and approach you when drinks were low) The pool is very big with loads of sunbeds and the beach is only seconds away which was lovely. At first we got bed & breakfast but we soon realised there was no great restaurants in the area, we even got the bus to Coral Bay but weā€™re also unimpressed there so we decided to upgrade to All inclusive. The food was gorgeous especially lunch and dinner, however the drinks that we got for all inclusive were nothing like the ones we bought the days before! Especially cocktails.. The staff at the restaurant on floor 0 could have been a little more attentive and approachable. The staff rush to sit you down and get your drinks order but after that they are less attentive (few times guests beside us or ourselves asked for extra drinks which were not given). When we were B&B we felt a little awkward as we were overlooked in comparison to the other guests. A couple of the waiters were very friendly though and the young girl who greets you at the dinner (sorry I didnā€™t get your name!) was lovely. As per the room we were happy with the size and bed etc but the bathrooms were not a 5* standard. They were a little outdated and could do with renovation. Also the cleaning level was not great, there was mould in the shower and the glass was not clean nor was the floor beside the glass. When we arrived our room was still getting cleaned- when the lady finished we didnā€™t feel as it was 100% done but she was hurried so we thought it was okay. The following days it got cleaned every day but only once we thought it was up to a decent standard. All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you are looking to just sit by the pool/ beach and eat & drink in all inclusive. The hotel is not 5* in my honest opinion but for what we had paid for it we are not complaining. If you are looking for a more exciting or adventurous holiday this is not it. Lack of restaurants and attractions that you need to rent out a car for was an issue for us. Hotel : 6.5/10

Hotel was very nice, clean, friendly staff, rooms were spacious and great view. Food for all inclusive could do with more variety or a theme it was a bit hap hazard but still good. Pool bar and snacks were good. Beach front location was fabulous. I had a 5 and 7 year old with me we got there late and the chef gave us a cold platter and some slices of cake for food and they gave us time at the bar before bed! Loved our stay here weā€™ll definitely be back.

Good hotel in nice location, right on one of the nicest sandy beaches around. Wonderful pool, very good and varied food for all inclusive. Although not really 5* , which should be on luxurious. This is not luxurious, but can qualify as a decent 4*. Their All Inclusive should be better called Some Inclusive, especially on the beverages. Only a very limited subset of their beverages are available for AI. The beach, although right by the hotel, seems to be public, and its facilities (sunbeds and umbrellas) are with pay, even if one would expect to be included for AI. Still quite affordable, 2.5ā‚¬each, so 7.5 for two sunbeds and one umbrella. One other minus is total absence of any water sports. It would be nice to have some kayaks available.. But on the positive side, they have bikes, still not free for AI, but 10ā‚¬/day. All in all, a very nice experience.

I stayed in June for two weeks, travelling on my own, they made me feel so welcome. The hotel was absolutely faultless, great food, excellent room, wonderful pool and staff were superb, helpful friendly and attentive. The location was great and local bus service was brilliant. Thank you all for making my stay so enjoyable. Have already booked for 2024 I can't wait to come and stay again and see you all.

Nice quiet and relaxing hotel, The overall feeling is not very crowded even though it's fully booked. the rooms are new and look amazing, the beds are a little tough. Breakfast was good with allot of options. The beach is also very nice but needs to walk down a small heel which might not be accessible for everyone.

Stayed here for 10 days and we absolutely loved it! Friendly staff who were always helpful. Great pool and beach area. Breakfasts were good too! The location of the hotel is close enough to the main strip with restaurants and bars but far enough away to not be affected by any noise etc. Would highly recommend!

Bad hotel. Not 5 stars as it says. The TV remote did not work, there was no coffee station in the room, a view of a main road after we asked to change the room for an additional fee they did not respond positively. We closed here 7 days after the first day looking for another

After booking the hotel in January 2021 we were looking forward to our stay, but reading reviews in May/June/July 2021 we were a little nervous as they seemed negative, but we found this to not be the case at all. The rooms were clean and tidy with all expected amenities. The pool was clean and well maintained with a superb pool bar. The restaurant was good with great food, a lot of variety and well cooked. All of the staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful and always around. The only reason why I havenā€™t rated it more is because it is a little dated in parts and claims to be a 5* hotel where I donā€™t feel this is accurate, but still a great hotel and we loved our stay here. We were all inclusive and thoroughly enjoyed the gin and tonic from the pool bar!

Lovely hotel, with the delightful Venus beach just a few feet away. Great staff, friendly and attentive - just a little parenthesis as we thought that some male employees were a bit too forward towards unaccompanied women (us). Great entertainment, singer Uma on Monday night put all of us to dance, she was fun and magnificent! Hotel restaurant options are good, and we have an amazing time. I would go back!

What a great find! This hotel is conveniently located to so many great restaurants and right next door is the Tomb of the Kings UNESCO site. The staff were friendly and welcoming. A fantastic public beach is situated right in front of the hotel that has sun beds and umbrellas for rent (decent prices 2.50 euro each). The staff at the public beach didn't miss a thing....they were running around taking care of everyone. Gift shop had fair prices (better than most). Rooms had air conditioning (that worked great), cozy beds to sleep in, and they are a good size (we had plenty of room to store suitcases and move about). Our room had a nice ocean and pool view. They offer a generous breakfast buffet and facilities were clean. (plates cleared immediately). Loved eating lunch at the outdoor grille by the pool over looking the ocean (delicious gyros and barbecue). Would recommend this hotel for sure. One of my personal favorites about this hotel was the beach location. It seems few hotels have a decent beach in front of them (most have cliffs or rocky beaches). Thanks Venus staff for making our trip memorable!

4 stars is really what this hotel is not 5 stars. Friendly staff and we had a newer room but the place really felt tired. The food seemed like they wanted to offer everything but ended up looking like a 90's canteen. The wine list was terrible considering the nearby super market offers some amazing wines at low prices. The facilities were in general good and the beach nearby was fabulous but they ought rethink reception and the restaurant ASAP.

Itā€™s not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are not that bad, but one of our rooms were dirty when we arrived. There are constructions everywhere, the hallway walls are in a really bad condition. The reception is beautiful, but thatā€™s it. We couldnā€™t use the indoor pool, because itā€™s ā€œbrokenā€. They said the constructions were started last week, but I canā€™t understand if the season ends in the end of October, why did they started the renovations now. The food was average, the breakfast was bad, they couldnā€™t even boil an egg to be soft. Only the fruit was good, but we all know thatā€™s not up to the hotel. The dinner was also average, the only good thing about the dinner time was Maria, she was lovely, she made our evening. She need a raise!!!!! She deserves everything, because she is the cutest creature on planet. I wouldnā€™t recommend to stay here. Cyprus is great, but for this price, you can find a better place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel for a week. There are things in this hotel which work well and there are areas that I think need serious consideration from management. Firstly let's start with the positives: - Good location. - Pool area is nice and being given pool towels is a +. - Cocktails are lovely and the view is also very nice. - Breakfast: very tasty and choosing the toppings for your omelette was fun! Negatives: - Cleanliness: Throughout our stay , the cleaner did not once clean the toilet. She also didn't clean the mirror or any stains that we accidentally left from drinking juice. In fact I complained about it and the only thing that changed was she finally cleaned the super obvious sun cream stain on the mirror. This is definitely not 5 star quality. - Noise : I could literally hear everything from my room including the garbage disposal that woke me up continuously at 6am and 8am!! - Smell : smell outside from garbage truck was rotten. - Service: I complained about the garage disposal , the lady argued with me saying it was linen ( sorry but wouldn't make a difference) she couldn't switch my room and tbh didn't offer anything else ....wouldn't really consider that a 5 star service either.

Very bad place, do not approach! The first night we arrived we got dirty rooms, with hairs on the beds, they wanted to change us a room, but the other room was also in the same condition After that, the highlight was the evening when a relative of the owner had a wedding, the wedding was held with excessive noise, each time they postponed the time they said it would end, we were not informed of anything in advance, we were with 2 small children who suffered from the noise a lot and did not sleep a whole night. Nobody cares. Just terrible attitude. Except for this, smoking is allowed everywhere, including in rooms, and all spaces. Do not book to this hotel, be safe!!

Nice hotel with great stuff. Everything is clean, and the food is good. The only problem is that the hotel not offering covid test, and ordering one to the hotel is expensive. All for all, we had great vacation in this hotel

I really loved this hotel room. The views of the water from 456 were amazing. I think it might be one of the best rooms in the whole hotel. The beach and pool were lovely. The yoga in the morning with Louisa was so fun. Would absolutely come again. It will be very cool when the boardwalk is done. Grocery store right next door and tomb of the kings 10 minutes walk šŸ‘šŸ‘ Really nice sandy beach but just you have to buy a chair and umbrella. 7.50 euro for two chairs and umbrella, good price. Breakfast had a lot of options but it was all just okay. I think they would be smart to do less options but put more time into making what they do more flavorful. A sheer curtain in the room would also be good so you can have privacy without total losing the light and view. A 12:00 check out would be nice. Its 11. I asked for 1 hour later checkout, which many hotels do complimentary, and they said it would cost $75. I feel like during off season it would have been nice if them to grant this small ask, especially since there is construction happening all over the beach right now.

I want to split this review in to two, as the second half is much much more positive. The hotel: The pictures are misleading and this is definitely not a five star hotel. One the first night we were really disappointed with the quality of sleep we had with bumpy beds. We also found a shard of glass on the floor and none of the charging points worked nor did the remote control for the TV. General cleanliness was not there either. We explained this to reception and from here on we are so grateful that we were moved to an upgraded room which was much more reflective of the images that you see online and we were lucky enough to have a sea view. This was more the quality we were expecting, although I understand itā€™s a five star hotel, I know the prices are still very affordable so bearing this in mind you wouldnā€™t entirely expect five star quality. It is just important to note that there are things such as marks on curtains and just general cleanliness that is not really up to standard of a five star hotel. With all this said, I am very grateful for the cake you had presented in our room for my birthday so thank you for this also, and for for rectifying our experience promptly. Entertainment: The main reason that I want to leave this review is because we went to the bar area on our first night and although the area initially seemed quite disappointing there was an amazing violinist playing called Alex and as the night came to an end we were the last ones there and he was really really kind and asked if we had any requests which he played specifically for us. His talent is incredible as he managed to play songs that he had never played before, any request we had he could do and his talent was truly mesmerising. I mentioned that I sing, and he was kind enough to bring me up to sing with him. His talent and joy really made my experience. He was a really lovely and talented man and is an asset to the hotel.

Visited for a week's half board stay in June 23. A quiet and chilled hotel. Had some activities available but nothing fancy or grand. Always room by the pool; you can easily reach the beach from the poolside loungers. Some things showing their age but all in working order. Staff are lovely - of note was a brilliant grey hair lady running the breakfast and dinner service most nights who was just a joy. "Her boys" felt very welcome because of her. Buffet style plenty of tasty options - do have Google handy however, sometimes needed to search what dishes actually where as labelling very basic. Walks to the harbour 40mins but plenty of options for getting transport if not a heat walker! Will stay again!

Very good Liked Breakfasts and dinners are great! Receptionists are very friendly. The view from our room was amazing. Disliked Nearest beach not clean enough, though very comfy. Location is not very good, you need to take a bus to go anywhere, by walk it's too far away from everything. Buses are often overloaded. At the last day something not very pleasant happened - someone was able to checkout from our room, which I consider as a minor security incident.

Overall a very good stay. When I first got here my room was right next to where repairs were happening and it was very loud. The customer service we manager was very gracious and understanding and moved me to a new room overlooking the beach which was incredibly kind of her. These are the rooms that you want to be in. The beach is small but beautiful and has chairs and umbrellas you can rent. You can hear the waves against the shore at night. The sunsets are incredible. There is an immense breakfast buffet with everything you could want to choose from. Everything was excellent. This hotel is a very short walk from the Tomb of the Kings and there are several small restaurants across the street from the hotel which are very good. However it is a long walk 30-40 minutes from the harbor and shopping or you can take a cab.

Hotel is well situated , clean and a very welcoming feel from all the staff. From check in to poolside drinks the service was excellent. The breakfast always included a good variety of food for all tastes. I will definitely visit again and recommend to others.

Location: Perfect location, about 10-15 minutes from the Harbour (Downtown). Alternatively there is a 5 minute away street that has some resturants and bars. Service: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms: Rooms are clean and well designed Facilities: The pool is nice and very close to the rooms and lobby. The beach is sandy and water is clean, however you will need to pay for the sunbeds and umbrellas as they are not owned by the hotel. Food: varieties of options for breakfast, offers many vegetarian and vegan options. There is also a Gyro restaurant by the beach that offers good food for reasonable prices.

Very good hotel, the staff are friendly helpful and welcoming. The food is excellent and the pool area is really lovely. The only thing I would change would be to beds, they were so hard.

This is a Brilliant place. All staff are really helpful & obliging. The whole area is spotless. The food is the best all inclusive we have had. Highly recommend. The beach is walking distance 5min. One of the things that impressed me was there was no sunbeds being reserved. As there were plenty .

We went there to spend a family vacation at Easter time last April and spent a great week. What a great surprise it was, the hotel is well located, very calm and has a great beach. The rooms are spacious and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. We travel a lot and this was one of our best experiences ever. Thank you Venus beach hotel for making our trip unforgettable.

This is not a 5 star hotel (not sure how they ever got this). The lobby looks underwhelming, the receptionist wasn't there when we arrived. The staff was unhelpful at best, outright rude at worst. The room looked tired with a bit of furniture worthy of some Ikea or charity shop. The arm chair had stains on it. The beds were most uncomfortable, the pillow cover looked not clean. The chairs on the balcony were plastic, looked like they are more appropriate on a building site. There is no real coffee available at breakfast, the machines provide instant coffee only (including instant espresso?!). The bar who serves Cypriot coffee only opens at 10. The only saving point is the location (close to the kings tombs) and the pool (so maybe that is the 1 star in the review, can not really give 0). We tried to feed this back to the management (in an office full of smoke), however they were not receptive and rather shouted at us. If this is a 3 star hotel, then it would be just passable, however the most disappointing 5 star experience ever.

My recent stay at Venus Beach Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus, was absolutely amazing! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The view was breathtaking, especially during the mesmerizing sunsets. Being next to the Tombs of the Kings added a fascinating historical touch. The food was top-notch ā€“ a solid 10/10! Every dish was bursting with flavor and the cocktails were both interesting and refreshing. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended for an unforgettable getaway.

A beautiful air-conditioned room, overlooking the on site pool & public beach beyond the facilities, I'd recommend this place to a couple, with either really young, but preferably older kids, as there is limited activities for them on sight, I'd also recommend an all inclusive deal, as it finishes off the service & package as a whole. Thoroughly recommended.

We have spent there 2 nights; staff is friendly and very helpful , pool is huge and Breakfast very nice; our final room was very nice, clean , with sea view and with a very comfortable bed! But unfortunately I donā€™t think the hotel is a 5 star luxury as it stands, itā€™s aged and looks tired in most areas; common area are not well cleaned and maintained like the moquette of the corridors that was very dirty and bed smelled; after our request ,we have been upgraded to a bigger room with sea view and we were very lucky because the room we booked was very sad ( I found a lot of hairs inside the bathroom šŸ˜©) The hotel is just beachfront but the beach is not part of it because is a public beach very crowded and not so nice ; we have paid for the sunbeds and the umbrella šŸ˜© Overall should be so much better if they will take more extra attention to the details and will do more maintenance

  • 1/5 sara p. 7 months ago on Google
Let me start off by saying this is a two star hotel, its old, worn down, dirty, and not up to any standards they say they have. Staff is rude and extremely unhelpful. Asking a simple question will get you so much attitude and we have to spend 3 more days here. We asked someone that worked at the pool where to get towels and he said ā€œI donā€™t know ask someone elseā€ like what??????? The food here is mediocre and they donā€™t replenish it as fast as they should, youā€™ll have to ask a server or an attendant to bring more of what you want. The labels are wrong and have no allergy warnings. Most of the foods are unseasoned and just taste bland. Also the staff just wants you out as soon as you sit down, theyā€™ll literally take your plate when youā€™re not even finished. The pool is alright and the beach is nice, I donā€™t understand why you would have to pay for a sun bed on the beach when youā€™re paying for the use of the hotel. I wouldnā€™t waste my time or my money here.

We stayed one week on BB rate. If I went again I would go for All inclusive maybe as it seems worth it. Lovely looking reception and room took our eyes. But looking closer there is few things that could do with improvement. Halls of the hotel look aged and outdated. Breakfast is everyday the same, they only change one hot food dish or 2. Personally we were so dissapointed there was no watermelon. Mini pastries that I love to have with coffee tasted like instant. Room was well equipped, altough our fridge was leaking entire stay and looks old. Balcony was really tiny on standard room but no worries. I was surprised that altough being advertised as on the beach with private beach area we had to pay 7.50ā‚¬ every day at the back for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella. There is biliard but not free costs 2 ā‚¬ even for hotel guests šŸ˜ Tennis court is free but if you play in evening like we did you willcbe asked to pay 2 euros for electricity! šŸ˜ƒ pool was nice and clean every day, water was surprisingly cold in October, but after a while we got used to it Hotel has great location bus 615 right outside going to either Coral bay or Kato Paphos. Also lidl just outside. We tried dinner buffet too, which is 20ā‚¬ and it was nice selection of different dishes continental not just Greek as we got fed up with kebab at some point. There was live music on one evening by the bar a singer. Nice little soaps, shampoos and body lotions included in room service. Just one downside for me that had to buy drinking water as its not drinkable from tap.popl area is surrounded by beautiful palms.

The food is a JOKE!!! Cheapest ingredients, always the same food and most of the time really disgusting, trust me!!! DO NOT BOOK ALL INCLUSIVE, itā€™s not worth at all!! They use ā€žfakeā€œ Coca Cola but take good money for it. The cleaner only changed our blankets and once she gave us a dirty one. After we complained about this, she was angry at us and didnā€˜t answer our ā€žGood Morningā€œ. Our bathroom was dirty all the time, there was hair from the previous users. Although we complained about it, nobody cleaned that up. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! Itā€™s a ONE STAR Hotel and by far not a five Star!!!!!!!!

Very good location- next to bus stop, Lidl and sandy beach. Rooms are spotless and nicely arranged, comfy beds and pillows. Good selection of food and drinks. It's an all inclusive family hotel, so be ready for lots of kids and noise. Not a romantic escape place for sure))) Staff is super friendly. Really appreciate their service.

This is not a 5 star hotel, the food was horrible, the gym and the inside swimming pool were out of order while they advertise it on booking.com. The beach they also advertise with a lot of pictures does not belong to them, we had to pay extra every day for sunbeds and umbrellas. The reception staff is rude, they were not helpful at all with any of our questions. Do not go to this hotel if you thinking about this price range, you can get million ways better hotels for this price and rating.

2 Stars I think is just about good enough to describe this place. Waitressing staff - very rude people Food - its the same every night, which was a bit boring. You wouldnā€™t think itā€™s a 5* hotelā€¦ I accidentally forgot to walk in with my face mask on (I know my mistake!) I get complained at by 2 members of staff but multiple members of staff are either NOT wearing it or wearing and NOT covering their nose - hypocritical!! Maid Service - you request to get your bed sheets changed but they donā€™t bother, sorry but donā€™t say you can change them when you canā€™t be bothered to. Surrounding area - town is about 15 minute walk away. The one good thing about this hotel is the view of the beach in the morning. Wouldnā€™t be coming back to this place thatā€™s for sureā€¦.

Stayed for 3 nights and it was bad expeareince. The rating does not reflect the amenities that needs to be in a 5 star hotel. There was no electric pot to make coffee or even a coffee machine . No klinex or other paper towels . The internet did a favour to work from time to time in a very slow way. The bed and the matrace were very low quality. and the walls were so thin so each step or talk from the coridor or the next room sounds very load in the room. The food in the brakfest was enough but lack of qulity and style you expect from a 5 stars hotel very very basic. Staff was nice met them twice in my stay. Overall cleaning in deffinately not the strong part. The room we enter was with remains of plates from previous guest and on the dresser near the bad were stains of cups still with water marks. Sand on the floor that was cleaned the next day. The price for the stay was fair not to say cheap so there is no surrprises it was my mistake that I thought it is a bargin. Unfortunately my big mistake. The place is not recommanded

Wonderful clean sand beach. The seaview is marvelous. There is a shower and sink for legs. Though there are no deckchairs. For me it is not a problem.

We booked through AGODA a room for one night and immediately canceled without noticing that the cancellation fee is a full payment. As soon as we received the cancellation notice, we asked to cancel the cancellation or reduce the payment and the hotel refused. The hotel profits from customers' mistakes instead of selling rooms and providing fair service. I am very sorry that this is the attitude of the hotel.

Great week here just now, amazing staff. Joe the helpful porter and Maria in the restaurant were ones whoā€™s names I noted and were both super friendly and helpful. But ALL the staff were amazing - Rooms were great, clean and tidy. The pool area is just brilliant for lazing the day away and the beach is right in front if you fancy a dip / day in the sea ( one of the best beaches in Paphos as it has wave breaks so the water is super calm even if the rest of the coast is not) Location is really good - walking distance to the main strip of restaurants etc ( Hickory also close which is just lovely) Old town is a brief taxi drive away. And itā€™s on a really easy bus route too. Get a room that over looks the pool / sea - the sunsets are just amazing !!

Me and my girlfriend had the best time at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and always went out their way to assist us with any issues. We decided to go all inclusive which was worth the extra. The food and drink options were great and offered a variety of mains, sides, deserts and much more. Although weā€™d like to mention itā€™s not really ā€˜all inclusiveā€™ as not everything was included from the full menu. The rooms were lovely but we would highly recommend booking a sea-view balcony! Our room was regularly cleaned, with towel changes and toiletry refills. The air-conditioning is also able to become very cold if required. Our only minor complaint was the wifi speed, which was very slow and at times not fit for web searching or media streaming at any area of the hotel, including around the pool. Overall we would highly recommend staying at Venus Beach Hotel, with its warming family-like staff and five-star service, this makes it a definite future return!

I have booked this hotel for my parents' holiday. This was their first visit to Cyprus and they couldn't stop praising the hotel and staff every day we spoke to each other. A special THANK YOU to Milena who took excellent care of them :) The weather was still nice in October, the hotel itself has everything you need, the food was nice, access to the beach just a few meters away where the sunloungers are for a fee, however, the ones owned by the hotel are free and you can easily walk to the beach/sea from the hotel pool, which was great. Location perfect with a bus stop that can take you to the town center and other places worth a visit, are within walking distance if you fancy an evening stroll or just an active day out. The staff was super attentive when I mentioned the purpose of the stay which was a birthday and wedding anniversary celebration :)

I am very happy with my short stay in this hotel . Very good location next to the beach from where you can walk just to the centre and enjoy the sea view. The team is super friendly , if you need a bit of exercise you can rent a bike and ask Joe he can give you excellent advise (trening plan) where to go to be able to burn all calories you get eating excellent breakfast at the hotel . All stuff super friendly and helpful. The view from hotel room itā€™s also amazing , if you want to wake up and see the paradise definitely is the place .

Second time we have visited this hotel and will certainly visit again. Extremely clean throughout and friendly, helpful staff. Our room safe wasn't working on arrival, and within 10 minutes of me reporting this we had a new safe installed. We were half board after realising our mistake first visit in only going b&b. Fabulous selection of food at both breakfast and dinner. Hotel well located on main coast road, with a handy Lidl supermarket across the road, and bus stops the same for buses each way every 10 minutes. Really can't find fault with this hotel. Special shout out to Joe in reception and Maria in the restaurant, both of who were so welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is on the most beautiful beach in Paphos and close to the center. 3 min by bus line 615. Ticket price 1.50 euro per adult, runs every 10 minutes. Hotel has great services. Excellent kitchen, beautiful new rooms, I recommend with a view of the sea and a wonderful sunset. Willing and helpful staff. The best receptionist I have ever met is Milena Jakabova. Great vacation. We will definitely be back.

I didn't feel like I was in a 5* hotel, unfortunately. Pros: ~ Views are great, especially from the side overlooks the Tombs of the Kings archeological site and the sea. ~ Not so many lights on the beach at night (and you can fairly easy move a bit farther) for stargazing. ~ Food is excellent. ~ Cocktails in the outdoor pool bar are quite good, including non-alcoholic options (and in the cocktail bar too, although almost all non-usual and tastier options aren't included in all-inclusive package). ~ Suit balcony is not very big but cozy and nice. ~ The hotel is in a nice place - a few options for walks along the sea including the Tombs of the Kings archeological site, and a big road nearby. Cons: ~ An indoor pool is currently closed for renovations - be careful, we missed this notification on Booking but it's there). ~ Outside pool bar closes at five instead of seven (as it is stated in the provided schedule). ~ Beach loungers and umbrellas are provided by some private company and thus aren't free. ~ Air conditioning in the corridor seemed broken at least at first - it was awful to move from the suit to elevators. ~ The suit itself ('Deluxe Queen Room with Partial Sea View' per Booking) was... well, ok, but with lots of minor inconveniences: ~~ only four outlets, two were used for the kettle and coffee machine, and none were near the bed ~~ no shower door or even curtain in the bathroom - lots of water on the floor constantly ~~ no room service at all if you are using your room until midday and then didn't use the 'room service' sign (or probably it's only with this sign?) ~~ WiFi is quite mediocre even in the suite (and none at all on the beach) - and in the evening it was downright awful, apparently, due to higher usage

I had a wonderful experience at Venus Beach Hotel. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Paphos. BIG BIG shoutout to the hotel staff including Gabriel, Zak and ESPECIALLY to Agatha who gave us AMAZING recommendations of places to eat and to visit. They definitely did not disappoint and we loved having a chat with them always. Also shoutout to Elias who was our airport transfer and we liaised with him everytime we needed transport during our stay, he was very friendly and we felt safe with him at all times. Venus beach hotel, WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!
