Honest Review We had booked here partly for a base for my friends wedding and partly for our first holiday together as a full family of 9 with grandparents and kids etc. Firstly I would like to state that all of the staff are fantastic and really do try and meet all of your needs especially when it comes to dietary requirements, especially the chef in the main restaurant. The pool is wonderful and well looked after and so are the grounds. However if you are looking for a 5 star hotel this isn’t one. It’s more like a 4 star that has met the basic 5 star requirements. The wording in the booking is very confusing and they play fast and loose with the term suite; putting a sofa in a standard size room! The rooms aren’t very well soundproofed so you can hear others in the rooms around and above you. They have multiple restaurants but they are very rarely open and the booking policy is very difficult, even when you try and book they say it’s full with multiple tables remaining empty all night (this could be due to staffing problems post covid though) the air con isn’t really air con it’s more of a fighter jet sounding cooler system that doesn’t necessarily work very well! Often times the food is either exceedingly salty or bland, and they aren’t great at knowing what gluten or dairy is! They don’t replace the mini bar and with water only being drinkable from bottles, especially with a baby and making up her formula, it’s very difficult, my sisters mini bar fridge doesn’t work at all and was 24 degrees! In the premium lounge the coffee machine doesn’t appear to have been properly cleaned in weeks and the fruit bowl was completely infested with fruit flies. Many of these things are very easy fixes but it is the small attention to detail that makes the difference between a 5 star and a 4 star. It is the best of the hotels in the area and the spar is wonderful!

Very nice place. Customer care was excellent. The food was rich, the variety fantastic. Every day the buffet brought new surprises. The breakfast was just excellent. The staff was very friendly and flexible. Being there with a family with over 30 people accommodating all our requests and making everybody feel happy was beyond imagination. Big kudos to the staff. Amazing resort. The rooms with a view of the sea were excellent. The entertainment with the music could be less loud but apart from that, I highly recommend the resort!

Spent a week at the Azia and left the hotel very happy wishing we could stay longer. We are a family of 5 (2 adults , 3 children) and found the hotel very family friendly. The staff were all wonderful. Very friendly and attentive. The food was quite good and plenty. The pool is very big allowing for fun games with the kids without bothering the other guests. We will be going back if we ever get the chance.

We stayed in the resort in August 2021 and plan to return. The service is terrific, after 10 days it felt like the staff were your family. Everyone is very friendly and solicitous. Upon arrival, we asked to change a room and they showed us a choice of 3 alternatives. We chose one with an amazing view of the sea and palm trees. One evening, there was some delay in taking our drinks order. The staff were very apologetic and offered us a bottle of very good wine on the house. The pool area smoothly goes into the sea-front, which is really a very long public promenade, so ideal for running, power walks, cycling. There are several public beaches nearby (the usual set-up in Cyprus is public paid beeches, which is actually good because you don’t see gated and privatised coastlines like you do in, for instance, Italy). The food choices are abundant, there were choices of Greek, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Mexican (we’ve eaten in a lot of Indian restaurants, but the vegetarian aubergine curry at Azia was the best). Almost every night there is child-oriented entertainment, so ideal for families with kids. But there is also an adults only pool area. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very beautiful and stylish. There is a very good spa with a large choice of treatment options. The one issue for families is that the kids club is only for very small children, while at the teens club they let children aged below 12 only with parent present. So not much entertainment for kids of 7-12, but there is a pool table and games consoles at the teens club. Overall, an excellent resort.

My family and I stayed at the hotel recently. It is a clean and well equipped resort. Pool areas were nice, breakfast selection was good and the breakfast staff were very nice. However, it is marketed as a 5 star hotel, but it is not. In reality it is a decent 3 star hotel. What was most disappointing was the poor customer service and front desk staff. They were unhelpful, not engaging and lacking any form of decent communication with the clients. The food was very poor, unseasoned and badly cooked. It was dry and tasteless. Drinks were badly mixed and over priced. Unfortunately I don’t feel that I can recommend this resort for the price you pay and definitely would not go back again.

Excellent place overall. Customer care was fantastic. Staff look happy. Happy to help around often with humorous conversations. Food was excellent. Buffet did not get boring. Evening entertainment was engaging. Hairdryer, TV remote and AC were broken in the room. On reporting this we were moved to another room within 24 hours. Jacuzzi was cold and was fixed promptly on reporting. Sun beds got reserved early but it was always possible for staff to resource some for us from the stocks. Clean pools. Spa staff were limited in communication in English so could not feel confident to access their services. Five star experience overall.

If you’re thinking of booking this hotel , do it ! I cannot fault a single thing to do with this hotel. 10/10 . The staff are incredibly polite and attentive. They are always friendly and welcoming from morning to night, they work very very hard. The hotel is extremely clean and staff are always checking if you need extra towels or anything for your room. The food is also incredible , every day the food changes so you have a variety throughout your stay. Best hotel i have ever stayed in.

I assume that Azia resort was a top Hotel 20 years ago but today the reality is completely different. Everything in the Hotel is outdated and in dire need of replacement or maintenance. Elevators dirty, beds at the beach all dirty and saggy, paths full of bird droppings, ...... Our sea-view rooms on the first floor are more like a garden view with a very tiny bit of sea. Nothing in reality matches the description and photos. Also the so called beach is a real disappointment, just the 500m to it is a drama, not to mention the rotting smell of the washed up meters of seaweed that separate the beach from the sea. Notwithstanding certain staff trying their best the food leaves much to be desired, what a sad assortment of cheap ingredients prepared without passion, and the temperature of hot dishes offered is lukewarm to cold. This is not a 5 star hotel any more.

The hotel was very pleasant and in a lovely setting. The restaurants were beautiful underneath the trees and the main buffet restaurant set at the side of the swimming pool. The hotel had a lot to offer with entertainment nightly and activities throughout the day. The room was nice with a natural theme of wood and rope. A plate of food had been left in our room for our arrival as the flight in was so late, this was very welcome and very thoughtful, also wine, water and fruit. Being on half board there was an extra charge in the restaurants other than the buffet restaurant, I have never come across this before they have always been a free choice to dine in any restaurants at no extra charge. There was a welcome party with drinks and canapés also a wonderful touch. The landscaping was very attractive but health and safety wasn't much of a consideration for guests as there were drops and steps not very visible in subdued lighting and an accident waiting to happen, decking had been built around tree roots with nothing stopping you from falling into the recesses, they either need filling in or safety glass over the top as the roots were a feature. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help and please. I would recommend this hotel, its well placed for the airport and local facilities.

We had such a lovely time here. The staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was delicious - a great range every day. We were here on our honeymoon for a week and it was so relaxing just the break we both needed. The hotel was clean and modern we booked in for a massage at the Spa and the staff there too were amazing and a great massage. I’m not sure about height of season but when we went (April) it was just the right amount of people and the weather was glorious ♥️

Great hotel all down to the excellent staff, especially Nino at the main restaurant, and Eleni in the kids club. Rooms were great, location excellent along with overall facilities and available activities. Nice beach a short walk away and even better one a short bus ride away. Archery, aqua aerobics, stretching and tennis courts offer enough for the adults while the kids are occupied. Individual restaurants were good options, but the main restaurant buffet will not leave you wanting. Highly recommended option for families, especially those looking for a relaxing beach holiday at this time of the year (autumn)

Second day at this beautiful hotel. Loved it so far! Enjoyed yoga & a really good eastern inspired meal at Oku restaurant, king prawns were probably the best I’ve had! Today however we are really disappointed as we have been sat 2 hours at the adult only pool. We have gone to reception twice to request drinks service but ‘nothing’! If there was a walk up bar we’d just go get our own but the only open bar is around the large pool with no walk up facility. So looks like we will have to move ourselves to the family pool - to get served. Disappointing for 5 star hotel!

Lovely staff. Nice hotel atv pretty seafront location, easy access to town by cheap local bus and a few restaurants walking distance plus pub with live football next door. Excellent choice of food in main restaurant but too often left to go lukewarm or overcooked in buffets. Overall I would recommend the Azia, maybe not 5 star.

We are well travelled and have stayed in some beautiful hotels, this is one of them… What sets this apart is the impeccable service…Everyone from reception to maids - each interaction is polite, professional and authentic. Nino - Lead in the restaurant is excellent - 22 years service and treats every customer as family. Spotlessly clean, food is delicious - both the themed restaurants and indeed the main restaurant. The food choice is vast and imaginative. We were here as the season winds down, but I have no doubt this is a perfect choice for families in school holidays as it is in calmer weeks. Great tennis courts, entertainment was good enough and the all-inclusive package worth every penny. No hesitation in recommending this hotel. It has a municipal beach very close ( surf’s up too most days ) bus rides into Coral Bay are €1.50 ( bring a mask ) same in the other direction for Pathos. Little pitch and putt course directly across - This place has got the lot - Book it , you won’t be disappointed.

We stayed, 2 adults, at Azia in November 2022 and we were so impressed! We were upgraded and had a lovely, immaculate room with a jacuzzi on the balcony (which was also exceptionally clean!). The staff cannot do enough to help and everyone is exceptionally friendly. The whole hotel is immaculate. The buffet food is some of the nicest I’ve had at a hotel buffet, and each of the hotel’s sit down restaurants were excellent. The food and drink were both great. As we went in off season, the restaurants were rotated which meant there was no awkwardly quiet restaurants, but you could still try each out. The drinks and bars were great. The pools were amazing, and the heated indoor poor was a fab addition on the odd day where the weather was cooler. There’s a nice beach a 2 minute walk away and lots of beautiful places to sit and read with great views. Watching the sun set over the sea each night was a real highlight. There’s a bus into the town which costs €1.50 from outside the hotel, and there’s a great archeological site (Tombs of the Kings). We also rented a buggy and drove to some gorgeous beaches and the Adonis Falls. November was a great time for us - it was warm enough to sit out in bikinis and read, or take a dip in the water (though there was the odd day where it was closer to 20C and the indoor pool was nicer!). It was lovely and peaceful. All in all, the hotel was wonderful, the staff go above and beyond, the weather was great, and the faculties were great. 100% would recommend.

A fabulous place to stay. Everything about it was excellent. The rooms were spacious with lovely sea view, the food in all the restaurants was superb but most important of all were the staff. Each and every one of them went out of their way to make our holiday special. Will definitely return.

Sun, sea, good people and perfect location. This hotel is exactly what you need. Good food and lovely staff. Everyone is so accommodating and I really love the environment, ever so clean as well. Sam at Guest relations is amazing and very helpful. All the staff could not be faulted. First hotel I have been to and I actually very much enjoyed the buffet food. The hotel also has a las crate restaurants which you can dine in if you are all inclusive. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall I would definitely come here again and recommend to others !! Like family and friends ❤️

Azia Resort&Spa is a beautiful hotel, the location is great. I love all the greenery and the pools are so nice. September is a great month as it's quite, with children being back to school. The pool area is relaxed and perfect. I loved the art in the reception area and the indoor small garden.

Have had an incredible holiday here. Beautiful sea view, lovely pools including a swim-up bar and poolside lounger drinks service. The food is fantastic - both buffet options and the bookable restaurants on-site. Asian restaurant a highlight. Coeliac / gluten-free options plentiful and staff went above and beyond assisting with dietary requirements including offering to prepare specific meals to order if options available weren't ideal. Staff were without exception kind, polite, considerate and charming. Reception, bar staff, wait staff, restaurants - all fantastic and really got to know us and our preferences. They were so keen to make sure we had a great time and it really made our stay special. Highly recommend going for all inclusive as the selection of food and drinks is wide and it'll be more than worth it. Room was clean and well furnished, with two maid services per day so easy to get cleaned. Note there are british plugs in the rooms! We've had the most amazing time here and I cannot recommend enough - we'll undoubtedly be back. Looking forward to it already.

Standards at this hotel are excellent, food exceptional and rooms spotless. Good variety of restaurants to choose from. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Poolside drinks service was much appreciated. A special acknowledgement should go to Alex who is a credit to the hotel and delivered exceptional customer service.

Fantastic hotel, I would highly recommend this resort, the service was phenomenal, I had a 7 day experience here and this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Staff are friendly always polite and nothing was to much trouble, Nino who worked in the restaurant was fabulous and great with the children. Our room was amazing which included a spa bath, we were upgraded to a premium room without even asking. Swimming pool and swim up bar was an experience in its self, on-site restaurants were great and the food was delicious. Overall I would highly recommend Asia Hotel with or without children. Thank you Azia Resort Spa Hotel we will definitely see you again.

Amazing holiday. Hotel fab. Staff are so helpful. Food really good. Nothing to complain about. Customer relations staff Georgia and Ionna were amazing and so helpful. A big thank you to Alex at the adult pool bar.

Entertainment, kids club and disco were brilliant. Pools are great, both indoors and outdoors. Nice little beach nearby too. Family suite rooms nice and practical. The food in the buffet restaurant was ok but not outstanding. The service was sometimes a bit lacking, housekeeping weren’t well coordinated and some of the staff just weren’t that friendly. Overall, I’d recommend as a good place to go with kids!

Fabulous sea view room with roomy balcony. Very good service. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended is the Oku restaurant that serves exquisite Asian cuisine. The Spa experience was top-draw - I loved my stay at this hotel.

Wonderful location right above the beach, offering great views of the sea and sunsets... spectacular sunsets on a completely clear day. Nice facilities and the staff here were very professional and extremely helpful, really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and make sure we were happy with everything. The food was pretty good here, there was always several things i enjoyed trying at breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.

We stayed here as we were in Paphos for a wedding. As it was our first trip, we were obviously a little apprehensive, but everything about this hotel was fantastic. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the restaurant team couldn’t do enough for you, and were led by the brilliant Nino. We will certainly return for a stay here.

Everything about the hotel was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious - there was a great selection including Cypriot delicacies at every meal. The facilities were well thought out - thoroughly enjoyed the swim up bar. If you fancied a change of scene, the nearby beach had hotel loungers and parasols where the kids played in the waves. On a covid related note, hygiene and cleanliness were well thought out.

We had a wonderful experience at the AZIA RESORT & SPA. Every staff member I encountered, from the reception to the cleaning staff to the restaurant were delightful and eager to help! Amazing views from my room, very clean and a great location. Thank you! Highly recommended for stress-free vacations !!!

Rich breakfast including poached eggs, fried, scrambled, omelet, all kinds of everything and someone down here wrote "cereals from box"... which means there are people writing stupid coments. Where do you want the cereals to come from? Omg People. 5 star service in all positions. Rooms are renovated and I liked the decoration specially the window closets.

We had the most amazing time staying there! The staff was great and so helpful and Ioanna the guest relations mad it even better. She definitely took our stay to the next level.. It was a birthday trip, and she made sure to send us champagne to start the vacation and surprise us with an amazing birthday cake! Everything from start to finish was more then we expected and could have wished for!! We would definitely come back!

Excellent service by everyone! Beautiful place and the staff always helpful with a great smile. Special thanks to Magda & Joseph at reception who went above and beyond even though it was obvious they had a lot on their plate. Thank you people of Azia!

From the minute we arrived at the Azia we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you. We asked to change rooms due to preference of a quieter area and both Josef the hotel receptionist and the guest relations manager Ioannou ensured we were relocated immediately. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant was excellent variety and quality. Top award goes to Pavlos the pool bar waiter who brought our drinks to us regularly, remembering what we wanted and always ensuring plenty of water. The only disappointment which was nothing to do with the hotel but sadly the behaviour of hotel guests who selfishly insisted on hogging sunbeds some getting up very early to do so and some in large quantities despite the notices from the hotel asking guests not to. Otherwise the standards of the hotel, the staff service were exemplary and the location just by the sea was beautiful, with awesome sunsets. I would definitely recommend this and would definitely return. Thank you team Azia

This hotel is our sanctuary. Ideal relaxation for a cheeky week!!! We love it and I think we will always come back. Visited at the end of March ( its the begin of the season) for a cheeky week of sun and relaxation, Room was lovely and modern and big. Sufficient room for 2 adults and 2 children for a week. The staff are fantastic, the food is excellent and the hotel is first class. Breakfast: Food did get a little repetitive, but still everthing was very fresh and you could choise. All staff lovely and friendly, special the restaurants part and Reception!!!!!!!!! The are very helpy. The location is spot on. Rooms with the view the sea overlooking are fantastic. This is a hotel to relax. There is some entertainment but it is in the background, no entertainment team thank goodness!!

Fabulous Staff. The most welcoming, caring and hard working staff I think I have ever experienced; - Waiters: esp, Nino, an utter joy and asset to the hotel - The chefs: Italian Chef above and beyond to cater for allergies. - The bar staff: seeing to every guest all over the grounds continuously. - The cleaning staff: rooms immaculate every day - The turn down lady: delivering chocolates each night with the most amazing smile. - The Gardners: esp. the Irish guy; worked tirelessly on the grounds. The hotel was more of a 4 star than a 5 star, however the staff more than made up for it. The food was wonderful for a buffet, although quite a small area, I can imagine quite packed in peak holiday season. The inside dining in the main resturant was really terrible, probably the worst I have been in, however the outdoor seating was stunning under the trees overlooking the ocean. We only wished that they separated the adults only area a little more. Thank you Azia staff for a wonderful holiday, Fliss and Rosie

We stayed for 6 days in June with 2 kids, room was nice and clean, breakfast was very good with a large verity. Staff was welcoming and friendly. We had a late check out due to late flight with no charge. Only down side for us was that it was difficult/impossible to get a reservation in the different restaurants in the hotel.

Beyond all expectation, I travel alone and I will never forget how I was treated.i came to the hotel with an issue with my travel agent . Christophe and the lady and gent who were at reception on the 1st of September did everything possible they upgraded me for my trouble I thank you all so much.Room and service was amazing spotlessly clean and Zia the lady who looked after my room was brilliant such a lovely person . Philip who because I didn't book a table at the Italian restaurant achieved that for me I ordered the forno and I've never eaten anything like it gorgeous. Last but not least a lovely lovely lady called Katherine who cleans and sweeps and washed the hotel flooring while I ate she is a superb lady and I am happy to have met them all I'll come again if they will have me . Gabriel I had a great night at the bar listening to some good music
