Just returned from a great week all inclusive, at Akti Beach. Staff friendly, food - huge variety, plentiful, well cooked with themed nights. Entertainment each evening but plenty of space if you want a quiet night. Plenty of sunbeds and amazing views. The "beach" is a little tricky to access but a nice sandy beach only a 20 min walk. You can walk to Paphos in a hour along the coast which is flat. Highly recommend

Beautiful hotel clean & relaxing. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was lovely spoilt for choice everyday. The entertainment/entertainer Andrei was simply amazing very good natural born entertainer & funny man, he had us laughing everyday and made each activity fun. Would recommend this place for a nice relaxing holiday.

OK so I'm still here ha! My partner Ryan and I have been here on an all inclusive winter sun break for a week and still have about a week to go. I am so happy we chose to come here, the resort is so pretty, so we'll maintained and the staff are incredibly kind and attentive . From the kitchen staff to the housekeeping staff, ground, bar and reception staff to the entertainment I've been really impressed. The weather has held up nicely and though technically out of season I haven't noticed any less on offer. I'm impressed with the food, the availability of food and drinks and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It's not right in the centre of Pafos but the hotel are more than happy to direct you to cabs or other transport. When we have explored we chose local buses which run regularly and are incredibly cheap. So happy we chose here and are booking up again for next year too and next year we willbe bringing my mum and son too as they'll really enjoy it. Relaxing and easy holiday thanks to great staff and a beautiful location.

We booked a room for 4 nights 5 days. The room was clean and renovated with nice site view of the sea. We where very disappointed with the staff attitude and we felt a little bit discriminated because they were greeting everyone instead of us because we were locals. Also there is a huge discrimination for the smokers. Smoking is not allowed outside and there is only a wall in a corner which you are allowed to smoke. As a suggestion I am writing here as well but I told the staff when we where there, they should divide the outside tables for smokers and non smokers instead of making us stand in the sun so we can smoke. Furthermore, as far as necessities we did not wanted our room to be cleaned on 2nd day but I asked for shampoo and shower gel and they told me that they were out of shampoo on day 2 and until we left at day 6 they were still out of the product. They were not prepared for their costumers and that was unprofessional. The swimming pool area is not supervised and is opening from the morning with the result of people splashing water on you while you are eating. The food was okay but there wasn't any variety especially in the dinner. I hope the hotel takes everything in to consideration and makes some improvements and staff training because is a nice place.

Good hotel, due to chilling night temperatures we needed to have the heating on. However the lounge area was not working, hotel tried to fix it but this could not be done. Offered to move us rooms but we had 3 nights left so did we chose to stay in same room. Hotel brought us heaters which was good of them, also allowed for us to keep our room on for 6 hours as a gesture of good will on check out day. Food good, drinks good as served in glasses, alot now serve in plastic glasses which we hate. Would return and recommend

Rooms are not 4 star. It's very basic but very clean. The maids were lovely and very efficient. The staff and the food were absolutely amazing and 100% makes up for the room. A varied fresh selection of delicious food. I normally get a bad tummy when I'm overseas, but not this time. The staff Hygiene was 100%. Paulina the restaurant manager was warm and welcoming. She went above and beyond for the guests. Thank you so much, Paulina. The back pool needs a good clean.

The hotel itself is fine. The recreation space is nice, with beds sitting on the grass close to the pool. Cleanliness is… mixed bag. We had to clean the balcony furniture ourselves to use them. The room is quite good. Bathroom is a bit old school, with the weirdest soap dispensers. Breakfast is… unimpressive to say the least. If you’re a Brit you’ll probably enjoy it. If you don’t like chewing bacon, eggs and beans on toast then you’ll feel underwhelmed. If you’re a vegetarian the choices drop to a really sad level. If you’re a vegan then don’t even bother with their breakfast. The access to the sea is rocky but that’s normal for the western part of Cyprus.

Stayed at Akti beach 29th March until 5th April. Absolutely stunning location with views that you would never get tired of looking at. Hotel was kept spotless in all area's. Staff were friendly and very helpful . The food was excellent something for everyone big and small. I would say this hotel is best suited for families and couples wanting a relaxing break in the sun.

Very clean and nice looking place! Outside area is full of plants and beautiful flowers! Food is very tasty and full of vegetables and fruit! Staff members are super friendly and very helpful! Evening events could be a bit better though! Hotel is located 10 min walking from the bus stop and not so far from shops and the city center! Overall very nice place for holidays with family and friends :)

Very happy. Spacious room, with a fridge and kettle. Really great, friendly staff. Food well-organised throughout the day so never waiting, along with excellent quality and choice. Pool bar and main bar well run, with quick service. All staff very friendly and helpful. Really great holiday.

This is an AMAZING hotel in a not very amazing location. Unfortunately it's miles from anywhere, there are no restaurants in the area, 1 bar which was always empty and aside from a roadside kiosk, the closest shop is a 45 minute walk away. There is a small mini market on the premises but it's quite expensive. Now, onto the good stuff ... our room was HUGE! It had a nice balcony, a kitchen area with a microwave, cooking hob and kettle, a good sized bathroom and a brilliant sized wardrobe that was more than enough for both my Son and I. You can hire the safe in your room for €2 a night plus a refundable €10 deposit. You can also hire towels, but I'm not sure how much that cost as we didn't avail of that option! I read a lot of negative reviews here about the food, but I was pleasantly surprised. My one negative was that breakfast was really underwhelming compared to Lunch and Dinner. It just felt a little slapdash. Lunch was incredible though, it was served outside by the pool bar and was so lovely every day. Dinner is themed every night, French, Mexican, Cypriot, Oriental, Italian, International and BBQ. Some nights were better than others, but thats down to personal choice and preference and I left the restaurant really full and happy every night. Desserts aren't great but I usually ate so much that I couldn't eat dessert anyway!! The Bar and Restaurant staff are all so helpful and friendly as well as the Reception desk who were great with all the many questions I asked!! It really is a beautiful hotel, the grounds and pools are kept immaculate and there's loads of space for sunbeds too! All said, this is a great hotel if you want to just relax at the pool but not so much if you like to be able to walk a lot and explore!

So have we have just returned from our holiday. We arrived at the hotel at 11pm we greet by a very nice young man can't remember his name. We checked in and given a picnic as we had missed dinner also as it was late we had given a token to get a free drink as AL had finished. We were shown to our studio home which was lovely. Next morning when open our curtains our view was wasteland! So we went to reception to ask if we could change rooms . Diane the reception said she enquire as they had new arrival that day and to go back at 12. So we did and given another room 102 which faced the swimming pool. So much better. Breakfast is the traditional fry up pastries etc but you definitely make a different Breakfast everyday Highly recommended the porridge 😋 Lunch was salads etc meat chicken etc chips chicken nuggets fish fingers Homemade cakes fresh fruit ice cream cream whip all very nice Dinner was different countries themed night. My favourite was Greek plus there was still traditional food again cakes fresh fruit etc Entertainment was day time and night time but you could also get the bus into Paphos or get a taxi in the town or Harbour You cam also book day trips to the local town or Harbour and coral Bay. You pay the taxi driver Towels were 10 euro each and can be changed daily The spa is small but definitely worth a visit the ladies are very friendly. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially the reception staff. They are fabulous nothing was ever to much trouble for them . Thank you Diane 😊

Overall the resort is fantastic, the staff are friendly and so helpful. We stayed in one of their garden apartments and the towels and bedding are changed every day, unless you indicate otherwise. They have activities on during the day and entertainment on each night. There is a kids club but we didn't use it as we had no children with us. We stayed all inclusive and there is a good variety of alcoholic drinks. The pool bars are open from 10am and drinks stop being served at 11pm, even if they aren't 'named' brands they are decent quality. There is food available from 7am to 9:30pm. Breakfast is always the same, a mix of English, Continental and Cyprus food. Lunch was a mix of salads, hot food and desserts and evening meals are themed. There are snacks available at the main pool bar between meals in case anyone gets peckish or has missed a meal. If there is a 'problem' with the resort it would be it's location in relation to everywhere else, but even then a taxi to pathos harbour is only €15. There's also a local bus about 15 min walk away that runs between pathos harbour and coral bay. It's €1.50 for a single journey or €5 for a day pass. I'd definitely return for another vacation.

Absolutely excellent restaurant and service. Very accommodating staff members. Very efficiently run restaurant - staff taking plates away are very well trained. Chef is the best - food is super fresh and lots of attention is put on this. Well done. Great facilities for families and very convenient as an all-inclusive hotel. They even arranged a packed dinner for us upon our late arrival. Very thoughtful. Only qualm - the room wasn’t the cleanest - floor was really filthy upon arrival although bedding and towels seemed relatively clean (not ideal if you have a toddler who crawls on the floor and eats everything from the floor). No real vacuuming done during our 7 night week stay only mopping of existing dirt around the floor. Bit gross. Don’t do the massages on offer - I was shacked up with a total stranger in a dingy, cold and noisy room. Overpriced for what you get. In the Netherlands I usually paid the same price (70 Euro) for a much longer massage of 90 minutes in a quiet and very tranquil spa.

We stayed here for two weeks and it was the loveliest holiday. Our room was gorgeous, huge studio apartment with the biggest balcony we've ever had. Spotless, quiet, we had the sun on our balcony all day (recommend room 117!!!) The hotel is in a lovely quiet location and the layout is perfect, not built up and more like villas. I would be aware if you want to explore outside the hotel to rent a car as there is not much within walking distance. The food was very nice and one of the best all inclusive buffets I've had. Beautiful pools (recommend the smaller pool round the back for a more peaceful experience) Our only downside was the air conditioning in the room was very old which seems strange in such a new modern room. We had the wrong remote on the first day and so could not control it, this was fixed as soon as we realised. Then a few days later the air conditioning started spitting dirty water all over the bed. They were so apologetic and had it fixed within half an hour aswell as changing all the bedding. Thus was literally the only negative part of our stay. What really really made the holiday is the staff here. Every single person from.reception, waiters, cleaning staff and maintainence were beyond helpful and friendly and made the holiday. Especially the waiters who worked so so so hard our whole trip, always smiling and joking and remembering our orders. Our cups were never empty and they are all a huge asset to this hotel. Thank you for the most wonderful holiday, covid safe and relaxing!

We had to upgrade our room as we were initially booked into a 1 bed apartment. This was cold on entry without anyway of heating the room unless you stayed in to place key fob in holder. We upgraded and would definitely recommend a superior room for extra £210. Lovely sea view and warm and comfortable room. Good variety of drinks and food in restaurant but needed to discuss some issues we had but was soon rectified. Excellent cleaning service throughout the Complex. Sunbeds not used but look a little tired. Spa massage not ideally situated in room close to noisy pool. Massage good but truthfully room not warm or quiet enough.

Very nice hotel, amazing view! The food is not the best, but the people are nice. The rooms are quite old, but at least they are cleaned every day. Overall a good experience at this hotel! I would recommend!

Simply lovely. Great welcome and service throughout from the moment we arrived to minute we left. Excellent room with sea view. Three pools, bars and restaurants. Even though it was full, the placed still had an air of quiet, which was nice. Loved it. I want to book again.

All the staff are a credit to the complex.especiallyi "TAM" ,should be promoted.he was very friendly and professional. He made us feel welcome from the very start. An asset to the complex. I changed Room rating from a 4 to a 5 star. as the room was clean and fit for purpose. Providing TV Fridge, kettle comfortable beds and all important AIR CON. All in all Yes I would be more then happy to repeat this holiday.

  • 4/5 Amy R. 10 months ago on Google
The hotel and staff are very nice. We got a room with sea view and the view is definitely beautiful. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. As a 4-star hotel, it is probably not the highest end 4-star hotel, as we felt it lacked a bit of the top quality you'd generally expect. However, overall it was an amazing experience to stay at the hotel, we had a wonderful relaxing time there. Perhaps the only complaint I have is not being able to control the air conditioning temperature.

Staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.great views from the well kept gardens, Nightly shows, day time activities for adults. 2 Outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool.Shuttle bus into old town.(2.50euros each way)well worth doing. Overall 10 out of 10.

Just got back from akti by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel is so clean staff are all very helpful. We stayed as a couple in the superior room which had the most beautiful view of the sea and pool area. The room was cleaned every day. The food was lovely every day. Plenty of drinks and cocktails all inclusive. We didn't take the children this holiday but could see how amazing the entertainment staff were with the children so have booked to go next year as a family. Best part is definitely the private sea cove.

A really nice hotel which is unique as it feels like you are in a village hence the name. Rooms are spacious and are cleaned daily provided you put the sign on your door. The hotel is clean and has 1 medium pool, 1 large pool and 2 tiny pools for the kids. The service is really good and the staff really keep on top to make sure your happy. Drinks are provided to you rather then getting them yourselves in the evening. The food is a little let down to what we are used to but everyone could find something to eat. There is darts, pool table, air hockey and table tennis but the pools are a little cold during this time but didn’t stop the kids. Evening entertainment is a little boring with the same 3 animation team doing there very best. Don’t get me wrong they were good but not like the shows on other places, plus with no real stage it wasn’t what we were expecting. But at the end of the day really amazing staff throughout the hotel and friendly team. Marks down for the food choices and the repetitive evening entertainment that we went early each time as the kids got bored.

Our 2nd time of staying and again not disappointed. Rooms clean and spacious. All inclusive food was different every night and pool and beach (cove) was clean. Staff always friendly.

We have been to this hotel twice now and have found it to be a wonderful place to stay, great staff, great choice of food and great rooms. The food, they have theme nights from around the world and you don't go hungry so long as you are prepared to try all the dishes and don't live on nuggets and chips or are a picky eater. There is a large salad bar every night, a soup of the day, two hot stations and then the theme food, plus a large choice of breads, drinks, both hot and cold plus wine and beer, all on tap, as well as desserts and ice cream. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals every day are packed with fresh fruits, salads and breads, like I said earlier, unless you are a picky eater, you will not go hungry here. The rooms we were in, were in the village, we found them to be comfortable, clean, tidy, a fridge, sink, glasses, cups and tea/coffee available everyday. Air conditioning available free of charge, comfortable beds, a TV if needed and furniture on the balcony so you can sit outside on an evening or during the day soaking in the sunshine or stargazing after the bar has closed The bar, fully stocked, the staff can't help enough, try to get your orders out as quick as they can, table service as well during the evenings, entertainment available as well, not always everyones cup of tea but you don't have to sit and watch/listen, you can sit in the lobby, lounge or balcony area and enjoy the evening in the hotel, or venture out. Location wise, it is a taxi ride from Paphos, but we didn't mind that, we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle, plus we found a lovely late nite coffee stop a short walk from the hotel, an old London bus believe it or not. Decently priced coffee and lots of choices available. We hired a car for a week and ventured far and wide exploring as much of the island as we could, which we would highly recommend if you enjoy exploring.

Just stayed a week at this resort and I'm sad to leave. The resort itself was beautiful, rooms spacy, they weren't prestine but had a quick clean daily. The staff at this hotel make up for the little negatives as they're so lovely! Amazing entertainment crew too, super engaging and different entertainment every night of the week from 8pm-11pm . The location of the hotel wasn't amazing, but there was lots of access to public transport, taxis (bit pricey), and a free bus to the zoo! The sea is right on your doorstep and has a lovely long coastal walk which goes through some public beaches to the lighthouse ( which was beautiful at sunset ). The biggest down fall was the food, they had themed nights every night but they were mediocre at best.. the drinks and drink selection however were class. For all inclusive I rate this hotel. 👌

Great value hotel all round, no complaints. Decent food and drinks. Pool freezing at Easter though had use of small indoor pool. Rooms basic but functional , however, very little storage space. Only one wardrobe with 6 hangers and 3/4 small drawers so had to live out of suitcases. Would definitely return but in summer due to cold pool.

We have been home a week after 10 days of total relaxation .We had a superior sea view room .Wow what a view large comfortable bed .A beautiful bathroom .Cleaned daily .The food was really good and the dinner alfresco eating outdoors was just as good .The staff always there to help .The entertainment team worked hard .Plenty sun beds no rush to put a towel out either . Beautiful scenery and lovely flat walks .I've met been on a holiday and only spent 300 euros.Long walk to the bus stop as no bars or restaurants around . We got a taxi to Paphos old town then into the harbour. It was around 30 euros there and back. You definitely need a car if you want to explore .We wanted a total relaxation and that's what we got . Perfect hotel for just this .No beach but a little cove you can walk into if your ok on your legs ,2 lovely pools if you want a swim . Would I return yes I would .x

The hotel was very clean and tidy, it was a solid 4 star hotel. Food was very good, not as a big a range as other places I've been but quality was among thr best I've had. The staff were fantastic, table service in the evening was great. Plenty of sun loungers. The only negative being is there isn't actually a beach, even if you are right next to the sea. Oh and the evening entertainment wasn't the best either.

  • 4/5 Artiom B. 2 years ago on Google
Nice and clean hotel, with very polite and helpful staff. To rest here is a perfect choice: food prepared with passion, tasty and fresh. Bar team is ready to offer you variety of cocktails. Territory is quite interesting: small 2 floors houses with a cozy streets between, like a small town, but not overcrowded. The only issue is absence of a beach. There is small a bay to swim, but for small children it is not the best way to rest on the sea.

March 2023 Just returned from a week break and despite most days being overcast, we had a lovely time at Akti Beach. We had studio 309 which was only a few minutes away from the main building and near the shop. The studio was spacious with a balcony, good power shower, decent size wardrobe, TV, kettle , tea, coffee and mini fridge. Were welcomed with a bottle of water and a bottle of bubbly and a bowl of fresh fruit which was lovely. Outdoor pool too cold so used the indoor pool and hired the jacuzzi for 30 mins. All inclusive with drinks was plentiful with a different theme night for food every night which included oriental, mexican, Italian, cypriot, french and bbq. View from outside absolutely stunning facing the sea with 2 pools. Plenty of sunbeds even though the hotel was full. Swimming towel can be hired for 10 euros refundable. Nearest proper beach is Venus beach around 15 to 20 minutes walk or a bus ride. The hotel is not near any shops so a 7 mins walk to the bus stop which can take you to the old town and harbour and on the other side to Coral Bay Did the Triddos mountain with monastry excursion loved it. Also went to the harbour which was nice and Tomb of the kings only 2.50 euros entrance. A thank you to all the staff at the hotel always so helpful and friendly. A special thanks to the 2 lovely boys Alex and Luke who worked so hard and ran the entertainment programme.. Enjoyed all the day activities stretching, boules, darts, shuffle and the lovely music, bingo, quiz nights, guitarist, cypriot dancing at night. Wasnt a fan of the magic show, felt that was more for kids than adults. Even had our drinks brought to our table! Well done and thank you for a very memorable holiday From Anita x

Great hotel, lovely and clean. Very welcoming staff when we arrived at 2am. Bags were taken up to our room. We had booked a room with a sea view and we certainly weren't disappointed. Our balcony was really spacious with table and chairs, we even had a separate space on the balcony with 2 full sun loungers. Activities put on during the day which were very popular. Wide choice of food catering for different needs. Would definitely stay there again.

Fab welcome, very helpful. All staff are lovely can't do enough to help make your stay enjoyable. Accommodation good, clean and got everything you need in there. Food.... Well what can I say it's lovely, plenty of choice. Location you have to walk or a long way to get anywhere or catch a but/taxi or hire a car. There isn't a beach so you have to travel to get to one. There is just rocks and a drop to the sea. Apart from that what an amazing holiday.

We have just returned from Akti Village after a 11 night stay and we had a lovely time, there was however some disapointing points but I want this to be a fair review. Firstly the room was good, nice and clean and bed was comfortable and there was everything you need, the air con was a bit of an old style but it kept the room cool. The door was catching when opening/closing but the room was fine. The pools were great especially the poor by Argo pool bar as it was a little quieter and you could just relax and listen to music and the bar was always quick at service. The staff were all brilliant, couldnt fault any of them as they were so helpful and always smiling from reception to cleaners to the waitresses, the staff were all lovely. The challenges however were we read it is remote but you dont really realise until there, its at least 10 min walk to the main road and anything in the shape of bar/restaurants etc. You have to get a bus to the beach or the harbour and this cost us around 30 euros return so we could only do this a couple of times. The transport from the hotel to harbour or beach whilst not hotel issue but the guy is simply rude! The way he spoke to us on 2 occasions was simply rude and unprofessional, first time as we tried to give him change and he simply put the money back and said "I wont accept this" the next time we had money for the beach but it was 3 euro each way and not 2.5 each way so we were short by 1.5 euro. We accepted and started to get the extra money out the purse but he was getting very agitated and quite rude, we were close to just walking off and reporting him to reception but we understand he is a taxi driver with "Kings taxis" and would strongly encourage you to avoid them! very rude man and lets cyprian people down. When he drives he thought he had a racing car, sitting at the lights revving for example too. The entertainment team were brilliant - so funny and the dancing show they did was awesome, one of the best we have seen in a long time... they were all brilliant and not too pressing about joining in with events which we appreciated after some AI hotels really drag you and keep going on but at Akti they are very fun, enjoyable and accept when you say no. Finally with regards to the food - this was the biggest negative as it became "samey" they do international days but the food was the same every day - chicken and pork and most of it on the bone when you dont eat meat on the bone you are in trouble, then with young children they had the choice of nuggets or fish fingers but even this was not every day so on a few days our children had bread for dinner. You couldnt even go anywhere to get a better meal without a taxi. The breakfast was very good though, so it was more dinner was a let down. The other thing to be aware of is where they can apply extra charges they will! IE slushies are 2.50 euros - never been to an AI when they are not included. The coke, is not cola or pepsi its there local soft drink and its so full of syrup it made us sick a couple of times. We overall had a lovely stay apart from the food/drink and if we were to return here (albeit unlikely due to location and food) we would not go AI again but we havent wanted to record any lower score as the staff and hotel in general do not deserve it.

We loved it here. Clean, friendly and lots of choice. We went all inclusive and the restaurant food was not very good. I literally ate rice all week. Sometimes the meat was over cooked too. The staff were friendly though.

Food on offer was 2 nd rate and mostly rubbish have not enjoyed it desserts are mostly made from packet and the quality of the main course's again poor soups were packet full of monosodium glutamate. Specialty nights are a disaster Mexican food well the chef has never eaten Mexican this was obvious and the chinese was laughable I would not come all inclusive again. The staff are fantastic but the food is shocking.

The hotel was well presented, the staff were helpful and friendly, the animation guy rocked hard and the food was perhaps the tastiest we have experienced anywhere.
