I am actually quite shocked and sad. I visited this hotel before for a lovely couple weekend with focus on spa, treatments and relaxation. Now the owner has changed, but the reviews are used from the previous hotel !! But nothing than the location is the same. The prices (without any massage) are 4 times higher than before and a weekend trip with one night isn’t even available anymore. Also none of the cute packages which were offered before. It would be fair, to at least make a new Google Maps location, to clarify the new hotel, instead to use the old reviews. The location is really lovely, but I definitely miss the old packages and treatments. To raise the price by 4 times it is really questionable…

We chose this hotel based on the photos on booking.cz. Unfortunately, the photos do not correspond to reality. We were looking forward to the beautiful accommodation and spa. We paid 370 eur per night. For this price we expected adequate service but everythings is old and definitely not 4*. The spa is in terrible condition. Plaster and tiles are falling off everywhere. Both steam rooms were out of order, the sauna was also in terrible condition. The outdoor heated pool was also not working. I have not seen anything worse and I am very disappointed and angry!

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay! I've already visited the hotel plenty of times in the past and I always leave satisfied. My only remark is that the television in the room could be upgraded a bit. It was a very old model and the technical staff had to come to the room just to get it started. Also, very poor variety of channels (maybe around 7-8) and half of them were without sound due to bad reception. I understand this is a spa resort and people are more interested spending time in the spa, but time spent in the room whether it's one hour or ten hours should also be enjoyable. It's 2022 and smart TVs don't cost much, so a TV and channel upgrade would make the whole experience better.

The place is really quite, and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and the nature around is astonishing. We stayed for one night, and absolutely enjoyed it. The massage was very good, and the food is also very nice. We were celebrating our anniversary and staff took it into account. However: - water is not included in dinner, which i found really odd, since its available in the reception and at breakfast. - there's a hell of pegions. Simply everywhere. Lots of birds poo, and nests are all over the place (even above your entrance to the room). - the 45 min treatment pool in the spa is available only once per night stay, even tho there's no other warm pools at the resort. The treatment is bit pointless in our view, and i would just rather sit in the pool. -the bathtub in the room is very small - it looks like there's no maintenance at all, if something breaks - it stays broken. Overall our stay was very pleasnt and we do recommend

My husband and I the most relaxing stay at this lovely spa. The setting was hidden in a little valley, which was picturesque and well kept. We both had a treatment and used the extra spa facilities which were great. Would recommend a stay here.

A true oasis! The resort is in the middle of a beautiful green mini heaven. The service is excellent, all resort and spa's people are amazingly polite and the spa treatments are great. A must-go rejuvenation spot even if you decide to just hang out at your room's balcony and enjoy the views. Thanks to all the people at the resort and spa!

Visited for a romantic couples escape package, the staff were friendly and welcoming and our massages were very good, our room was spacious and clean although whenever we used the shower water would pool onto the floor, perhaps a shower screen would be better than a shower curtain. The resort was quiet when we visited midweek, and the dinner and breakfast choices were very good. There are signs of wear and tear especially in the Sulphur Pools, the edges of the pool are encrusted and some of the jets in the relaxing pool do not work, perhaps some descaling is in order. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would revisit.

Wow! I visited many good hotels in my life... But that was the best of them. It's located at beautifully and peaceful place, on the mountains. The buildings are historical and very special, and surrounded by trees, herbs, fruit and and tiny fountains. The people who work there is the best! Service was beyond Expectations! I got married, and they gave us surprisingly champaign to our room, took care of the adult members of the group, help them in any need, for examples prepare special food that suitable for them,

We arrived excited to the place with lots of expectations. To our surprise, the place is far from its description. Very dirty and neglected. The food is low quality. The activities and the organization of the activity, amateurs. There was a smell of sewage at the entrance. We were very disappointed.

What an amazing hotel! The rooms are super clean and you have there anything that you wish from, from a super comfortable bad, toiletries at the bathroom and a balcony with a great view. The hotel itself provides a, A-service and you are welcomed with an amazing smile. I’ve enjoyed the best massages at the spa with a thermal pools and great sauna. Also enjoyed their warm water pool outside and the amazing vegetarian food that is fresh with a wide range of veggies and lots of tasty options for gluten free. I’m addition you are sorounded in amazing nature and daily walks in the forests and the the nearby villages. I’ve never been to such an amazing hotel just couldn’t ask for better. Every detail in the hotel is perfect. Rather you are coming for a chill meditation, daily yoga , massages , live music , class a food, or just to relax next to the pool (and you have many of them there) you are going to enjoy your time. I’m waiting to be back soon

Epic stay! We had a room 53 with hydro-bath on the balcony. Very clean room and nicely renovated. The smell that’s something around come from the natural sulphur spring. Thus, total natural that guest smell this sometimes. The spa is nice and the hotel is still renovated it here and there. What needs to be improved is the friendliness of the staff. It feels like something happened there and most staff is unhappy/rude. There some which are friendly (maybe the new owners?). Overall big recommendation to go there as the estate, the scenery around it is outstanding and impressive. It’s an old renovated monastery with a little church. It’s very charming. We will definitely come back to stay longer there.

The spa resort was a mixed bag of emotions. Initially, the service seemed to be good and staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. However, the next days started to get worse in terms of: - service (the staff were not friendly in general); - miscommunication (We booked full board with free breakfast, lunch and dinner, only to be informed that our lunches were limited to 15 euros per person. Also, free sulphur bath treatment each day per person is only for 45 minutes, so be mindful what they tell you in regards to the treatments they offer you); - condition of sulphur baths (no clear instructions on how to use the sulphur bath equipment and the state of those equipments is not an acceptable level where some are not functioning properly, which suggests no maintenance is made); - rooms (the rooms were very small from what we were told; baths are minuscule and the general level of cleanliness is not at a satisfactory level); - conditions of stay (we were promised a free bottle of water per day which was only given to us on the day of arrival, we did not get any water otherwise; one of the card keys to the door room did not work; shampoos and gels that were promised to be changed every day were not changed or added. Generally speaking, we got an impression the hotel was saving money on their customers). - restaurant food (the food was generally good but after the first day we were told that we would not be able to choose the food we wanted but we would be given a fixed menu (this is the usually a case for very good restaurants who can do that but this is not the case)). - waiting time (we had to wait for the food more than 20 minutes). Generally speaking, the stay was a disappointment and the only good things to mention is the nature, surroundings that look great; the food was generally good and delicious. Otherwise, we will not returning to this spa resort any time soon, and a lot is left to be desired.

We were spoiled by the food and had diarrhea for 3 hours. We decided to go home and take medication. We come to lobby to tell we are living because we are sick and want to cancel tomorrow spa. Made told me “this is funny and impossible” that we get sick of their food. Idk if they return money for spa I didn’t even have an opportunity to use

We are having such a great time at Amathus beach hotel! This is our second visit and are very happy to come back. I think that what makes this hotel exceptional for us as a family is the combination of this hotel being kids friendly and that everything is in a very high standard. The facilities are very clean and the staff is friendly and polite. I really enjoy the food and the entertainment they have during evening time at the gardens restaurant. I hope to come back again and definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

We had no idea what to expect, but our 5 day stay was one of the best vacation experiences of our lives. Everything - the ambiance, the facility, the location - all were amazing. Even more satisfying was the skill of the culinary staff, as well as a dynamite and dynamic staff. We look forward to our next visit, this is a great place!

We visited the hydro pools and spa for an afternoon. The nature and the location is incredible as always. However, the facilities aren’t well maintained. The pools are encrusted with the sulphur. The hydro beds don’t properly work because the jets are blocked. The rain showers in the sauna are also don’t work properly. The showers in the ladies changing room need cleaning and fixing. It’s very sad to see this beautiful place so run down. I hope the management can have a word with the maintenance team to improve these issues.

The Secret Forest surpassed our every expectations. From the friendly staff who help and do everything they possibly can to make you feel at home, to the comradeship of the guests - we had a truly wonderful week. The sessions were uplifting and the spa was so relaxing, we felt completely rested and rejuvenated. Yoni Cahane along with Chris and the rest of his staff has created a unique setting to experience a combination of wellness and tranquility second to none. No meat? - no problem!! Dana's exquisite cooking especially her fish dishes and Dvir's baked delicacies are amazing. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable. We will be back !!

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at The Secret Forest in May 2023. Everything was excellent from our bungalow to the location to the facilities to the attentive staff to the excellent and varied meals and of course the other guests and the general ambiance. Yoni did himself proud ! Looking forward to our next visit. Can highly recommend The Secret Forest to anybody looking for a total chilled detox few days

We went for a last minute massage and it was great. Didn't have any expectations really, we were nicely welcomed and the massages were very good.

We spent four nights in September for our anniversary. Wonderful place for people who like nature. Nice, clean room with great view and privacy. Quiet at night for a great sleep. Excellent, healthy Kosher food that was tasty and filling. Nice exercise classes and trails to explore. Would come back again.

Staying near bye in a small cottage, we dropped in on the off-chance, to the Spa area to book a treatment. We were able to book a Hydrotherapy treatment, Lunch and then in the afternoon a 45 minute all over massage. Wow , definitely a must do if you are in the Miliou area. The staff were amazing, the food was also lovely and fresh, light and enough . We had use of the pool also spent an hour in the relaxation room which had amazing views. The massage girls were fantastic totally 100% profesional and relaxed both myself and my wife. Mud wrap next, on our return . Unfortunately didn't get any photos of the spa area.

Best Wellness Center in Europe! Very nice and comfy room with a beautiful and quiet balcony. Delicious vegetarian food. Top-level Spa and treatments. high variety of classes and workshops, and great teachers. Highly recommended!

The beauty and the atmosphere of the place was behind any expectations. The food was super tasty, fresh and made with love! Recommend for anyone who want real quiet vacation to rest from noise and to heal body and soul.

We had a great time. This is definitely a beautiful spa resort. The staff is dedicated, the food is excellent, activities are interesting and the location is fascinating. Strongly recommended for a group of (girl) friends ;-)

Unbelievable place. I didn't know exactly what I was getting myself into so it took a leap of faith but I'm so glad I did. The place is under new management since January 2023 and the concept is all about connecting to yourself and others and as such all the activities are centered around that. I came out with friends for life but also had plenty of time and space to myself. Everything was in the spirit of bountifulness (is that even a word?!) and was free flowing. Even the cocktails were unlimited and free during the concert in the bar, I kept waiting for a bill to come and it never did. Highly recommended!

This place is stunning and in the most beautiful location; I feel blessed to have visited. The healing energy of the environment is difficult to put into words...just feels like being emersed in nature and the grounding reset of calm energy that brings. Prepare to have a quiet, calm, healing experience. The sulphur spa, mud wrap, and massage, was wonderful and following this I had an amazing sleep that night. There are various types of rooms and separate villas to choose from. I was in a basic room which was well equipped and clean but I found the walls to be rather thin and could hear next door. The hotel staff were very accomodating and agreed to move us to a quiet room where we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, calm, relaxation of the evening. The staff were all very nice. Breakfast was amazing! I highly recommend this as a retreat to reset yourself and allow the stress of modern life to simply melt away!

Great experience! Delicious food and the staff, who were all very friendly, even made custom dishes for me as I'm a vegetarian. My husband and I booked around ten spa treatments and enjoyed them all. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful nature and things to see around the hotel - would definitely stay there again soon.

I used the Spa several times during my stay at an independent house nearby. The people are absolutely friendly, the treatments are very good (individual needs are detected and served) and the atmosphere is nice. Despite the good staff and therapists the area itself needs a bit maintenance here and there. But overall a must do when you're looking for Spa moments in you vacation.

Everything was absolutely perfect! I took package "Romantic escape for couple" as a birthday gift for my husband and it was the best decision. This place is amazing with best service, thanks to every person who work there. For SPA, restaurant and hotel I give 10 from 10. Highly recommend for everyone, it's really "must try".

Amazingly quiet place in Cyprus! The hotel is in the shade of mountains and tall trees. Beautiful landscape with flowers and architecture in traditional Cypriot style make your holiday even more enjoyable. Thanks to Olga at the reception (she speaks Russian), who met us and told us in detail about everything. The Sulphur Spring pools with its massage water streams and the relaxation room with lavender tea is what finally convinced us to choose to stay in this hotel. Mariana (also speaks Russian) kindly answered all questions. Thanks to Mariana and Michaela who supervised us in the spa treatments. Thank you so much Chef Gabriele for a great dinner. Very tasty and beautifully presented dishes. I would like to mention the waitresses Mirka and Sulla who were very attentive and friendly. Planned a regular holiday in this hotel. Cons: no free drinking water in the hotel.

We didn't stay here but the hotel and surrounding were beautifully relaxing. We had indulged here with the sulphur pools, hot mud cocoons and massages, all of which were lovely, skin felt amazing, we were really relaxed on leaving. The receptionists at the spa were very helpful and friendly. Really lovely place. Thank you.

We highly recommend a break at this wonderful, peaceful Spa Hotel. We were welcomed by all the lovely attentive staff. The treatments were relaxing. The Spa pool made us feel rejuvenated. The food is delicious. The room very comfortable. A stay here is a must.

We came to this hotel for our short honeymoon escape! Staff is amazing! Thanks to all of them! Food is very delicious! And honestly half board room is enough (such cool breakfast and dinner🥰) Spa, pools, everything is so good! Massage is good as well. We had romantic couple escape, and liked it. If you are going for a few days thete are things to visit around. Wineries, kind of forest. We enjoyed it a lot! Calm and beautiful place 😍 We would like to come there again. This place is good also for people who lives in Cyprus. Feels like we were in another country 😍 Thank you for our beautiful weekends to everyone in this hotel!

We love this place! The hotel is clean and provides you with great hospitality.The reception is very helpful and will guide you throughout your stay. The restaurant staff were very helpful, especially Mirka, Milena, Julia and Sulla without them our breakfast and dinner wouldn’t be just perfect! The restaurant menu was great. Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and families. Best wishes Magda & Jon

We had not experienced age discrimination before staying here. We would not visit again or recommend this for any occasion. This hotel has potential to become amazing, however it needs major changes in many areas. We spent 2 nights at the hotel and stayed at a 3-bed bungalow, which to our joy, was cosy and had the view of a nice pond. Unfortunately however, we were not greeted by friendly staff at reception and throughout our stay we discovered that we were living with millipedes which seemed to emerge from the toilet flush button. We informed reception about this and they said they would send someone, but they just sent housekeeping who did not have any visible effect on the millipedes as we continued seeing them on the walls next to our beds and around the room in general. In the price we paid for, we had a daily 45-minute session at the spa included, so we decided to take advantage of it shortly after we arrived and settled. Upon arrival we were given towels and shower cups and were told to wait until they let us in the pool. The “relaxation room” we waited in was beautiful and indeed very relaxing with a nice view. After 45 minutes we were told to enter the spa, which consists of 3 different pools with various facilities, and we were told to start off from whichever pool we wanted. It should be noted that nobody who entered the pool was asked to shower beforehand or shown where the showers were, even though there were signs stating that showers must be used before using the pool. When everyone got in the pool, staff just left us alone with no explanation whatsoever of how we should use the pools and or what each pool is supposed to do. Others who were with us would change pools often and so we followed. We were then told to leave as we had supposedly been through all the pools which was not quite the case. Also several water jets were broken. Sunbeds at the pool were not clean. The relaxation room though is really nice. We were given towels to wear as we were not allowed to wear clothes on the beds in the room. However, there were exceptions apparently. Nobody said anything to a few people who were lying on their beds with clothes.

Great hotel overall. Scenery is great as the hotel is surrounded by trees and mountains. I like that you also have access to the sulphur spas for 1 hour when you book a room. Plus you get free breakfast! A great value for money. Good for couples and for friends that want to enjoy a relaxing day in a nice environment.

Celebrated my wife's birthday at the resort, March 2022. We had an enjoyable stay. Well maintained, peaceful and organized resort with very attentive, caring, and professional staff. A special thank you for the attentiveness and great service in the Cava room.

Just the best day!! I was a little nervous after some mixed reviews on here but we had the most wonderful spa day here and would 100% recommend. Not all of the spa areas were open but we were able to use the sauna and then 15 mins in each of the 3 different heated pools. They were great and the allotted time was the right amount. We spent some time in the relaxation room afterwards which was so peaceful and very special, before heading for our treatments (a scrub and a full body massage). They were both amazing and I was so so relaxed after. We had lunch by the pool in the main hotel and loved it. The staff were all friendly and wanted to make sure we had a good time. You can tell the spa isn't brand new but it didn't deter from us having a lovely time - it really is a special place. Thank you for having us !
