NOT KOSHER!! The whole hotel is a scam, it's real name is Capital Coast, which is 4-5 times cheaper. You get the same rooms with the same non-kosher kitchenettes and non-kosher cutlery and glasses in the old rooms. Scantily clad guests are then mixed with Orthodox families at the pool area. The only thing you get is a kosher restaurant (perhaps the certificate is real, but I honestly don't trust it) however when 80% of the room price is for having a dodgy hechser... that's what I call a scam. Receptionists were violent with multiple guests who were complaining for - Getting robbed - Not having a curtain in the room, i.e. complete lack of privacy Avoid!

NOT KOSHER!! Avoid!! This hotel does not exist, it’s real name is Capital Coast, which is 50-70 EUR/night. Money gets stolen from the locked luggage room. After complaining, receptionist is shouting at us.

Our 8 days with Yonik in Cyprus over Pesach, is was a mistake. We felt that what was promised was a misrepresentation of the reality. In short - maximum price, minimum care. Some of our huge concerns as a family of 4 with 2 kids. 🛑1. Pitched as: a kosher hotel. The facts: the basement is kosher and the rest of the hotel including the rooms are not 🛑2. Pitched as: Great for families. The facts: Breakfasts were often at 11 or 12pm and dinners at 8:30 or 9pm leaving us with hungry irritable kids and no other option to feed them. Zero flexibility from Yoniks part when asked to adjust times to make them kid-friendly 🛑3. Pitched as: A food experience The facts: Breakfast and Dinner were often IDENTICAL. Food was often the same again and again and again. No child options apart from Schnitzel for 8 days and nights. The waiting staff were great and did everything they could to look after us. They were often left handling complaints of guests and filling in for Yonik and his staff who disappeared. After several emails went unanswered and posts across his accounts that were removed and banned from posting, I am leaving this review in hope that his company finally talk to us.

Most importantly, the food was good and there was enough of it. But...Covid protocols non existent, no gel to be seen in the dining room or ground floor, which is especially important with buffet meals. Staff not wearing masks. Even the maids were not wearing masks or more importantly gloves!! Hotel was very tired and in need of renovation. It was clean but found two ants inside the fridge when arriving. The outside pool area was lovely but the indoor spa area was a DISGRACE. Indoor pool is freezing cold and dark. Separate swimming hours not enforced. Jacuzzi area is extremely run down and not at all appealing. Only one jacuzzi actually worked. Sauna/steam room did not.

We had such a nice time, the food was quite nice, and the pool and grounds are beautiful! The hosts are very available on Whatsapp which is a big plus.

Firstly, it's important to note that there is no actual kosher hotel called Blue Lagoon. Rather, "Blue Lagoon" is a service established within a non-kosher hotel called Capital Coast Resort & Spa. The kosher meals are served in a dedicated dining room, and there is a nearby coffee/tea corner and shul/synagogue (these are all on the basement level). The kitchenettes and utensils in the rooms themselves are not kosher, and all other hotel services (pool, spa, beach, etc.) are shared with the rest of the hotel. The kosher food itself was very good and plentiful, with plenty of variety (we were there for four weekdays and had breakfast and dinner there daily). We were able to make sandwiches (and take vegetables for snacks) each day at breakfast to take with us on our daytrips (tip: bring containers or baggies if you want to do this, none are provided). We did not go hungry during our trip. We were fortunate to have a large suite, which included a full-sized kitchen, full-sized heavy-wood dining room table, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The best part was the porch that faced the sea -- as our corner suite was at the very end of the hallway, we were situated very near to the sea, with perfect views of the sunset and no noise from the pool area (which was out of sight, around the corner). Try to get this suite (#120-1) if you can. The hotel’s beach is not exactly at the hotel – you have to walk a few minutes down the coast on an unfinished rocky dirt path to the beach area, which is also used by the neighboring hotel. We didn’t use the hotel’s pools, but we did use the spa’s jacuzzi and sauna, which were both fine. The downsides were that the building itself and rooms are not in great shape. Google shows this as a 4-star hotel, I would put it at 3 stars. Loose/missing fixtures, peeling paint, stuck window locks, burned-out lightbulbs, and a very dark shower are some details I can mention specifically. As a family-oriented kosher service there were lots of families with children, along with lots of noise/screaming (80% of the guests when we were there are Israeli). The hotel service was relatively okay, but be prepared for the relatively rude Cyprus treatment everywhere you go in the country. The kashrut mashgiach, Levi, was a pleasant and friendly young Israeli man who was helpful during our couple of interactions with him. The bottom line: If you want two solid kosher meals per day and don’t mind spending your vacation in a 3-star hotel full of loud kids, then the Blue Lagoon is a fine choice.

The blue lagon kosher resort is all a scam. The real name of the hotel is capital coast, the staff there are really horrible people they shouted at me and had zero customer service. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Nice location but directly through the hotel "capital coast" his real name The reservation can get by half price. The staff are with a not good service attitude and unless the Dining Room time, there's no even free water or ice provided, need to buy in 4 times more expensive then the market price. Room services, getting clean towels and sheets are only 2 times a week. For those who arrive during the period that includes Shabbat, the solution proposed by the hotel is without a Shabbat elevator and the rooms remain unlocked as a replacement for the entrance tickets All of the tour schedule do not show the main existing attractions in the city, it is better to give up the proposed schedule and independently order tickets and transportation solutions in advance. Very Nice place to go by self arrangement trip

Be ware there isn't a "program" per se. Yes, they provide kosher food and have a shul, but to get to the sukka you have to walk through the pool with half naked women lounging around. That alone doesn't make succot feel like a holy day. There were no activities for the kids, and my kids were really bored. They also promised to charge me in shekels but charged me in Euro's instead and I ended up paying much more for in fees. We also had roaches in our hotel room.

Very very nice place! Love the rooms. Always ask for a room where you can see the sunset. Pools are nice but not heated. Spa was very good. Kosher food is great, only think they can work on is the freshness of the breads.

Lovely hotel.. clean rooms/ laundry. Fab breakfast, lots to choose from. Sit in or out dependant on weather. Hotel needs tidying up in some areas, but all in all a good place to stay. However, if you want a peaceful, quiet and relaxing Hotel, it's not the place for you. This is a family hotel, and as such you may not be guaranteed a room next to you without children/ Babies in it. ☹️ That's the only downside to it.

Great Hotel and great value. Kosher food was tasty with lot of variety and fresh. We enjoyed the kosher meals. Also the pool bar has kosher food for purchase. Outdoor pool divided to two sub-pools and another toddler pool plus an indoor pool. Jacuzzi and Sauna and a Spa with Massage treatments for great prices. Rooms are clean, comfortable and great value. Recommended Hotel !!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Blue Lagoon Kosher Hotel. It's inside a hotel called "Capital Coast" Big rooms, nice beachfront and pool. Separate Kosher dining room and tea room. Fully stocked Synagogue. Food was excellent as well.
