Club St. George Resort is perched on a hill South of Tala and a taxi ride €15-20 north of Paphos. I stayed with my wife and friends in one of the self catering apartments with en suite bathrooms in the complex, not far from the Club Reception area and pool. We stayed for 10 days at the end of October. The facilities were ok with adequate a/c, but had a problem with the shower in one of the bathrooms (fixed after a few days of complaints) and the kitchen sink multiple tap leaked into a sink with a small hole in the side (not fixed; I should have brought some duck tape ;)). Standard of maintenance was poor, but cleaning generally good. We found mosquitoes a problem during warm nights, so some kind of repellent or nets recommended. We stayed at the end of the season, the pool was open and refreshing swims were enjoyed by all. The restaurant was open with a basic menu for some evenings and breakfast bookable. Pool bar with snacks and sometimes some sounds. Staff were helpful and friendly though clearly in end of season mode. A good base for visiting Paphos, which has some great restaurants with well cooked food and enjoyable bars. We avoided the themed bars and tavernas mostly located in one area, but just our choice. I walked west from the resort to the sea, from Empa to Lempa which took about 75 minutes over 3.4 miles. Overall, a good stay but a vehicle is necessary to get anywhere from the resort to the many places of interest such as the free archaeological museum and Tombs of the Kings.

6th time we've stayed here. Mostly come in February however decided this year to come in September. Normally we'd have a 2 bed apartment but being summer we opted for a 3 bed villa with a pool. Aziz on reception gave us one of the better villas that had plants and shrubbery both in the front and back of the villa. Villa had recently been repainted too. We've had apartments before where certain things in the kitchen were missing like frying pans or a microwave but we had everything including a dish washer. Villas have their own router for wifi and to be honest it was pretty good. Pool was a godsend, both me and my son were in it until 1am the first night as we had an evening landing and after checking in and then popping down to paphos for a bite to eat it was great to cool off. You will need a car as the place is up a big hill and quite far from amenities. Only downside but not an issue was over to the far side of the complex where there used to be 2 or 3 blocks of unfinished apartments. They are now inhabited by I believe refugees. None of them were a problem and quite a few you could see at various times coming to and from work. I have heard this has upset quite a few locals as they are being employed by local businesses at a cheaper rate which. Even the older grumpy chap in reception was in a better mood this year.

Scary, creepy, dirty place in the middle of nowhere in what is essentially a housing estate. Completely unhelpful staff, everything in the gym is broken, hardly any hot water in the rooms, kitchen with hardly any pans or utensils and not even a tea or coffee pot. Horrendous. As a single female I felt scared to leave my apartment and threatened after being approached by 2 separate groups of men in the complex who were staying there long term. During a very loud party until 4am there was very loud banging from an apartment near me and then footsteps outside of my door. I called reception from my mobile as I was so scared but no answer - so no night porter or any kind of help or security on night duty. I left the next day and on checkout I waited 10 minutes for someone at reception to appear and nobody did. Do not spend your money here, it's a nightmare.

Until recently this was the ideal place to stay as it is a ten minute drive from paphos harbour and a fifteen minute drive to coral bay and reasonably priced We had used the resort for the last four years but the apartments have started to get run down with some being damaged where used to house visitors from boats. We were warned of this and that there may be apartments where previous lodgers may still have keys. This proved true as there had been two unscheduled visits by someone whilst we were out all day and not on the days of the cleaning shedules. On arrival, we found various items damaged and no safe key, which forced us to lock our valuables in the reception safe and our more valuable clothing in our suitcases. We were lucky nothing was stolen, just items moved around, an iron fillled with water and used, and the fridge freezer turned off at the mains switch. Still rather concerning! Until all of the locks on these apartments, studios, and houses are changed, i wouldn't recommend using them.

Loved the place. All the staff we met were pleasant, basic room, but clean and came with great views. Be aware due to location, car, taxi or bus is need to shops or beach.

A great place, the outdoor pools were being refurbished which would have been good to know prior to booking. I recommend a car for this location due to being 10-15 min (by car) away from the coast. Gym is acceptable, with a little intuitive thought you are still able to train most body parts. Indoor pool was nice and clean. If you can, get a sea view facing balcony, as the views are beautiful.

Room is degrading, not clean, but the old guy from the reception today (03 Sept) was very impolite and rude.

I spent 10 incredible days in this beautiful hotel, the apartments are quite large, the cleaning is well done and the staff is super nice and welcoming. The only downside is that you need a car to get around, otherwise it's perfect.

Very good view, have most important tableware But a lot of mosquitos are leaving in a bathroom! No microwave. No good blankets, and overall beds are not so comfortable (quite old).

Location is far from seaside. Appartments are good for couple nights if you have a car. We had 2 bedrooms appartment for really good price. Facilities in hotel itself are really old. No issues during checking. Small shop is just next to reception.

Staff were 100% tentative to all our needs, Thisbe apartment was lovely, clean and had a lovely sea view. Our stay was booked from Dec 21-Jan 22 but we liked it so much, we extended till Feb 22. Good onsite facilities, Stravos and Aziz from main Reception were fantastic and very helpful, will definitely be coming back. Having an amazing stay 👌

I stayed here for 4 nights, there was 4 of us in 2 separate rooms, it appeared our room was a little nicer, as the other room was missing the mirror and hairdryer on the wall. I was apprehensive at first as im used to a more ‘nicer’ hotel. But u get what u pay for. If u need somewhere cheap to stay and arent bothered about major comfort, then this place is perfect, upon arrival the receptionist was quite rude, as if he didnt want to be there. The cleaning lady was lovely, but the rooms werent spotless. There was a couple stains on the sheets and typical dust in the room, but the room itself was actually quite modern, i had no problem with the room we was in, for hot water u flick a switch for one hour, shower was ok. Bathroom was okay. The view was quite nice, but it is far from the beach, its best if u drive as the hotel is quite high up the hill. The pool was really nice also, i didnt feel 100% safe in the area tho it was a little unsettling. Overall a 3/5 u definitely get what u pay for if u want something fancier prices will be higher… cant complain, did what it needed to do, would go back if i was low on money.

I don’t know if it is because it is out of season but the hotel was absolutely disgusting. We changed rooms 3 times and were all horrible. The bedding was dirty and covered in hair, the curtains were marked and had bits on. The table and floors were covered in dirt marks, the hotel looked abandoned and falling apart. The “heated indoor pool” was freezing and things floating in all of them. And to top that off a stack of all guests passport pictures and booking/ home address papers piled on the side of reception while left unattended. Avoid at all costs

I do not understand how this place is still open. Absolutely disgusting place. Me and my partner came for a nice relaxing weekend. When we arrived the staff were so rude and not attentive at all, he literally told us wait while he finished his game of billiards… Very unprofessional! Finally after waiting we got to the room which was dirty and absolutely freezing cold, we switched both AC to heater and they didn’t work. We went to have a hot shower and the water wasn’t even running. My boyfriend called the reception to tell them and the receptionist said “I’m busy” and hung up. After 5 minutes he called again and the guy came to our room very aggressive towards my boyfriend and said you want to move to another room? Obviously we said yes. He came back and told us there is only a studio available so we checked the room and it had water but still the AC was broken. With no where to go we had to stay in the freezing cold apartment until the next day. We went to get breakfast and the guy told us “we have only four eggs left, and we are giving them to our regular customer. So bad luck For you.” We went to the reception to tell the manager what happened he was not helpful AT ALL and actually shouted at my boyfriend! No apology or anything. He agreed to refund us for one night. But not the night we stayed there freezing cold with no water. Customer service is a total 0 Cleanliness is also 0 Place 0 I hope everyone avoids this place so they don’t have the same experience we had.

Stay away from this place at any cost. There is an aggressive guy in the reception called Pyrus was about to beat us as we were asking for a clean towel. Very aggressive guy. Stay away. Worst place ever.

Visited our first time around 5 years ago and had a fantastic time, so thought we would come again and we’re unfortunately a little disappointed maybe it was because it’s out of season but really feels a little rundown

It was a great stay over there, a bit far from city center but if you have a car or rent a car then it will be more easier for you

Basic, but ok. Good location, spacious, good size balcony. Parking right outside. Clean, but quite worn, the place could do with a bit of attention.

Situated on the hills in Paphos, this is a clean apartment with everything you need provided. Easy instructions to find it and the owners have left great information in their booklet.

The apartment is pretty good, but at some point half of the outlets stopped working. Also when we checked in, the sheets were wet, as if only after washing (I hope so) Towels for some reason were at the reception and breakfast, which left much to be desired and wasn’t very fresh, turned out to be not free, that we found out only after it.

Stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of October to visit my father whilst he was in Paphos. Thankfully for us we only stayed the 2 nights as it was not a good experience. There are no facilities provided as stated in every website. Staff were unhelpful and didn't care. If you want a cheap room and to be based nowhere near the beach, then it's right for you. All I advise is keep your money in a safe place.

You'd better have a car if you're planning to go to the city. The closest bus stop is 30 minutes walk
