A small archaeology site but it is worth a visit, also good mosaics as well. Close by there is a small church and cave tombs.

Agios Georgios is an extensive archaeological site belonging mostly to the Byzantine period during the reign of Justinian I (6th Century AD). There are three triple-aisled basilicas on the site, along with a bath-house, a baptistery and bishop's quarters. The are remains of in-situ mosaics that still are quite remarkable. They evidence a great deal of technical expertise. There are are no explanatory signs. However, upon paying for your entry (2.50 Euros per adult), you will receive an informational brochure which briefly explains the site. The minibus service route 616 which runs from Coral Bay drops the visitor at the site's entrance for only 1.50 Euros one way (per adult) The location of the little visited ruins on the highest ground overlooking the sea and Yeronisos in the middle of green meadows and flowers gives the place a true sensation of remoteness. As a morning or full day out, it is highly recommended.

Not really something worth visiting if you are not a history nerd. To you simpletons it just looks like random stones. So keep away and let us nerds enjoy it quietly

If you like historical landmarks this is a nice place to visit, you can walk here for hours. Keep in mind that there is very little shade so dress accordingly

We visited here as part of our 4 x 4 ATV tour with @GoldenRideTour. We had a quick coffee and restroom stop. Took in the view of the fishin harbour down below and for those who wanted there was the opportunity to visit the church which according to our guide is about 750 years old.

We stopped there on our way back to Paphos from The Blue Lagoon boat trip. Charming quiet place, little bay with the beach and marina. Church on the hill above the beach. Not far from Paphos (30 minute drive).

Good views and nearby harbour with other interest. The site itself was not very interesting unless you are a dedicated historian/Christian because it is just unclear foundations fenced off but lots of interest in the area.

👍 If you have never seen a shipwreck - you should definitely visit it. There is a small parking nearby. You will have to walk to the cliff to see this ship closer. The place is ok to travel with kids and elderly people. Basically there is a cliff with a nice sea view and this shipwreck. You can take p...

👍 The beach itself is not much and rather rocky. The water is hard to get in due to very slippery rocks, except for one place that is sandy and allows you easy access to the perfect water. Best thing here is that there are 2-3 huge resident turtles that you can swim around. They are huge and not agres...
