As other reviews have mentioned, the location is great and very relaxing, but the air conditioning really is bad. We asked for them to fix it and the fix was maintenance turning the temperature up! (After waiting 6 hours for them to come fix) It was difficult to sleep in the warm room at night. ديروا بالكم المكايف فش الغرف مش تمان. في شهر ٦ او ٧ يعني نار و انت نايم

Ok so far day 1 will add in a week🙃 11 days on and I would recommend the hotel. Cleanliness is good rooms get cleaned out everyday beds made staff attentive and friendly. Value for money good. Food, menu changes everyday to a different country. Didn't try the Chinese nite but the rest italian , Greek, Cyprus,Mediterranean was ok. Couple of Tavernas near by and recommend . Cons nothing of great to note, little observations, cheese board gets messy after a few guests have hacked the cheeses, would recommend each type of cheese has its own board. The path from the rooms which has slabs and steps should have lighting when it get dark. Would I come again, yes but would do half board rather than bed and breakfast.

One of the best hotels on the island and I stayed at many. A stunning location on the edge of the Cape so great views and sea breezes. The staff are so friendly, manager is super efficient and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Attracts a more peaceful clientelle so lovely for pool days with a book.

Great hotel, Food choices very limited but your not gonna starve. Please focus on Vegetarians as not everyone eat pork. All the staff are nice but we believe the bar staff Adriane can be more friendly. His tone is not very friendly and speaks to his peers very aggressively. (Our point of view) Great location of the hotel. The beach is right on the doorsteps.

I stayed at the hotel for a week and could appreciate professionalism, care and hospitality offered by staff. The room was clean, luminous and spacious. Cleanings occurred on a daily basis and towels were changed every two days. Room looked on garden and beach. This allowed fresh temperature even on hottest days. Service was attentive, caring and kind. Waiters were courteous and looked after me. Food at the beautiful dining room (looking on the marvellous coastal landscape of Paphos and the hotel's beach) was one of the major strengths of Cynthiana. Food, mostly Cypriot, was fresh, tasty and ingredients were locally sourced. I could appreciate the same care at the bar where staff allowed me to try various Cypriot liquors after dinner. Poolside is furnished and inclusive of little bar to have drinks and snacks. Location was picturesque and with a romantic shade, given the hotel is situated on the beach and there's a long footpath on the nearby road which looks on the coastal landscape. Ideal for walks after dinner or during the sunset. It was a very enjoyable stay. I recommend this place.

Loved this hotel the rooms are a bit dated but that makes it more authentic to me. The hotel food service and staff were all lovely. The hotel staff wait on you with your drinks each evening meal and afterwards which is really good as it means you can chill and no waiting at the bar . The rooms are cleaned every day too oh yeah they are British plug sockets too. I would most definitely recommend the cynthiana hotel and id most definitely come back again 💯 my 2 boys and I had a really lovely week here in august.

As with a lot of people are travel plans in the last two years have been disrupted with just a week to go our flights to Sicily were cancelled so a quick search we come across this hotel and can honestly say have not been disappointed. Very friendly staff always smiling and helpful, the food has been very good with lots of choices always fresh and different themes most evenings. Drinks are very good make sure you go to happy hour 6-7 in the main bar and every day has got a different cocktail. For a last minute choice it has been excellent and great value cannot thank all the staff at the hotel enough

I spent a few days at the hotel, but have not stayed as I have friends living nearby. Kids friendly. Amazing location, close to the city centre, by car. There is a sea-pool made physically by rocks. Beach bar is open from 9 am to 7pm and also offers snacks. Kids loved it and we will for sure visit again this year

I'll start off by saying that if you go all inclusive that pool towels, tea and coffee in the room are not available safe keys to be bought 2 euros a day also the food good choices but needs to be hotter. That's the negatives out of the way. For a hotel classed as 3 star I couldn't help myself but to give it 5. Where its situated with stunning sea views and excellent beach bar you can't help yourself to relax and soak up the sun. The rooms are spacious and clean, again way above 3 star. Facilities are brilliant with 2 pools 1 indoor and obviously 1 outdoor, gym and ample snack and bar options. We found the staff and we mean all the staff we encountered from the cleaning and catering to front of house and the manager Andreos were a pleasure to be with. A special mention must go out to Aphrodites senior and junior and Alex for becoming friends of ours they welcomed us into the hotel and were superb throughout our 12 night stay. Without hesitation I could reccomend this hotel so much so we're re booking for next year

Just returned from a week at Cynthiana and it was beautiful. Everywhere was spotless, rooms very comfortable and newly decorated, staff very helpful, breakfast very good and eaten outside on the terrace if preferred to take in the views. The location and views are fab.Everyday there are very low key activities such as yoga, stretching, table tennis, boules etc, but not in your face and loud. Every evening there was a themed entertainment in the bar such as Greek night, Italian might etc,but again low key. Not pretentious, high standards and yet chilled. .Feels more than a 3☆ hotel, much more comfortable than some 5☆ that we've stayed in. Second week in October yet still 27' and warm evenings. Warm enough for the seawater pool and the beach, but hotel pool a bit chilly. Variety of outdoor spaces, with plenty of furniture , beach bar for drinks/ snacks and coastal walks.100m walk to bus stop which goes to Pahos one way, 20mins, or Coral bay 10mins other way. Nearby taverna serves good reasonable Greek food too with good views in evening. Will definitely return. Gill Atkinson, Southport UK

+Location just at the seashore. Beautiful views! +Two stairs to the sea +Outdoor pool +Outdoor activities such as tennis, yoga, pool exercises, cocktail game in which you can win coctails +Tasty food at the restaurant Room service everyday but the towels aren't changed everyday. If you wan to get to the city you have to walk to the main road and get bus 615. 1,50€ for one ride, 5€ for a whole day all buses - Wi-Fi could be better, I had it in one part of my room but didn't have when I sit on bed also I didn't have in on the balcony.

We came back to the Cynthia again because it is such a lovely hotel, obviously like everybody else we had to keep rearranging our holidays because of covid, but FINALLY we made it 👋. We have been coming to the Cynthia for quite a few years now because ALL the staff are so warm and friendly, Andreas the manager is always around greeting guests with a friendly chat, he is always there to answers your questions or concerns, and he is quick to sort out any issues you may have. The Cynthia must be a good place to work because in all the years we have been coming we still see the same staff members, Chris, Ireni Tula, yannis just to mention a few, just like their manager they all do everything they can to ensure your enjoy your holiday, I honestly don't think I could stay in a different hotel in Paphos because the Cynthia is a hard act to follow. And the spectacular sunsets are fantastic.

Amazing location with wonderful views. The hotel has it's own little beach as well as an outdoor and indoor pool. Also has a small gym. My room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately the hallway is stone floor and the rooms have wooden floors so sound resonates all along the hallway and housekeeping would sometimes start at seven or eight in the morning so unless you're a heavy sleeper maybe bring some earplugs to be able to sleep through the housekeepers talking in the hallway, hoovering, and dragging furniture across the floor. Staff was very friendly and definitely a plus. Food was very average. Everything is buffet so there is a fair bit of variety but often you'll end up with lukewarm food that's been sitting out for a while. Was hoping for more seafood given the location but there was only ever white fish fillet cooked in different ways, even on Greek night there was no fish. During the afternoon they have a snack bar for all inclusive but once again this is a buffet so not freshly cooked. It feels like they were cutting corners a bit, eg no fresh juice which would be a very easy addition. But the beach bar has ice cream at least. Overall a positive experience and a decent hotel.

It was a nice experience, but if you are travelling with a toddler you must know that the access to the sea is a bit tricky, not enough sunbeds/ombrelas. Lack of space at the pool also. The location is nice but better to rent a car.

The hotel is clean, the sea nearby is very comfortable and pleasant but the food is just terrible and no options for kids. No kids activities provided by the hotel. Not suitable for children. It wasn’t worth it’s price.

Its location is the only issue I had with this hotel as it's on the outskirts of Paphos, and Coral Bay resorts. Only found 4 restaurants within an 18min walk from the hotel on the main road. Regular buses into both resorts but often full so we didn't bother. Option to upgrade from bed and breakfast to all inclusive for €36. Soap, shampoo and shower gel provided but remember it's not European 2 pin plugs it's UK 3 pin. Breakfast buffet one of the better ones with hot or cold options.

An excellent location, beautiful views, great access to local bus. Hotel not as we expected, bar too small to cope with amount of guests, the outer rooms, Olympian wing, far away from bar and no facilities for a drink or food. Some staff un helpful but most good, maid service is excellent. Overall don't expect too much from the hotel but the position is excellent.

Second time being here, once just before covid-19 and again this month which was 4 years later and staff still remembered me, my name and my family. Food is great as there's always something for everyone. Recommend going all inclusive therefore no need to leave the hotel unless you choose to do some excursions. Right on the Mediterranean sea with private beach.

The hotel is great, it has everything, the collaborators Nicos and Aphrodite are lovely and very professional. Receptionist Tamara is a very caring and professional person. the food is good, very good hotel for children. The only bad thing is the Wi-Fi internet, weak signal in the room and even inside the hotel 🏨 in the common area it fluctuates a lot. the hotel's employees are lovely. Lovely place

Have just returned from our 3rd holiday at the Cynthiania, once again cannot fault it, from our room no 308 down to the maintenance staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and made your holiday just that little bit more special. I cannot understand why some reviews moaned about the food, there was always something you could find to eat, now I’ve got the hard job of getting those extra pounds off! I feel that this hotel deserves more than the 3 stars due to the hard work that everyone puts in. A pleasure to have spent my holiday there, looking forward to the 4th visit.

Great place to stay at when visiting Cyprus. The food could be better but undoubtedly there is a lot to choose from. The staff is very friendly. You can bathe in the Sea (waist to chest water level) or in the pool.

If my room would have been seaside so I'm quite sure the views would have been great 👍 On the other landside you'll see parking lot and bushes. Rooms are clean and modern, but this is the only hotel in my experience in the area which doesn't have refrigerator in the room 😳 but was told that it would cost 5€ per day to have one 😳 Breakfast experience not the best in area but survivable. Beach is great 👍 and better then most in area.

Ideal AI hotel, met so many returning visitors. Outstanding service, excellent facilities in good condition, lovely swimming and tanning areas. It is a bit quirky when local residents come for functions. The bar and restaurant staff are unassuming, nobody has any problem helping or serving you. Car park is good, ideal if you have a rental. Beautiful views, nice long coastal path.

Lovely hotel. We only stayed for 2 nights in a superior room. The seaview from the room was absolutely stunning. All staff were friendly and attentive. Had a snack from the snack bar, very well presented. Breakfast - spoiled for choice. You would never go hungry. Would live to stay again.

Good service, good food, great beach spot. Had 2 different rooms - in the first one the AC wasn't so strong. In the second one there was no fridge. Pool was smaller than it looked online. Will recommend as a mid-price hotel

😠 I don't recommend this hotel!! During a night it was a bit chilly, so we tried to turn on heating on A/C in the room but it didn't work. Also there wasn't hot water in the bathroom so we had to shower with cold water. Next morning we old our issues to a receptionist, and she said, I quote "you have...
