Interesting ruins build long time ago. Unfortunately almost all is destroyed, so people can admire only rocks and leavings after the magnificent temple. A well preserved fort is located inside sanctuary. From this point you can also admire the sea. Take a water with you if you want to do sightseeing. Regular ticket costs 4.5 euros. Flight pass is checking before you enter.

The site is listed on UNESCO World Heritage List. Lots of things to explore, including things mentioned in Homer’s writings.

Situated in a small 'mountain' village, this archeological site is fairly large and interesting with decent views.

I had no idea how historically important Kouklia was till I visited the Museum at the Sanctuary of Aphrodite. Fascinating history with artifacts from the Bronze age to modern day. Excellent!

It's the best idea to visit the place early, before it gets hot and overcrowded. The place itself is nice but the museum is the highlight. Especially the building with its crusader vaults and the view of the coast. A bust for imagination.

Fabulous place Highlight were the mosaics, out of this world. Large site The guide accessed via QR code was well worth downloading. Excellent resource, which really helped your understanding of what you were viewing. It's quite easy to walk round looking but not seeing. The guide helps you focus and see. Excellent place to visit

Not much remains of what once would've been an impressive site. Still, the musuem itself is worth visiting if passing by. Few good lunch eats in the town, solid detour

Our third visit. We love seeing the mosaics and ruins. It would however be better if there was some sort of pictorial representation of what the settlement looked like in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th century etc. Also some idea of how the inhabitants lived in their spaces.

Nice site. The museum was small but nice. Really cute restaurants in the village. We went Gabriel's tavern. The food and wine were great.

Not really worth the euro 4.50 entry fee. Not much to see and no information on what you are seeing.

Spent about 40 mins here with my son who loves exploring ruins. The site is quite big with about 10 -15 different bits to explore. The small museum has more artifacts & the staff are very helpful in explaining them all. There is a 10 min TV show explaining the ruins which is worth a watch. €4.50 entry, free for smaller children and over 65s. Lovely views too.

It would have been a more pleasant experience if the structures outside were properly marked and labeled. If there's no information labeling the locations, it only looks like a bunch of rocks and rubble.

When in Cyprus, it's amazing how many archaeological sites you just 'trip over'. Kouklia is a lovely traditional village as well.

Many historical items displayed in the museum. Entry is 4.5euro. You have a short video for about 10min to discripe the area. However, I tho k this place should have got a guide. For the price of 4.5euro they can easily make a guided tour inside the site to give better picture.

So we went on last day before we fly back I agree with some comments that there was not much to see but we had with as are little girl so I had chance to show her some ruins and explain her about greck mitologii about them god's and building the build she like the idea of mosaic and after we be back home she would like to build something like that and hung on the wall so to be honest we enjoyed that trip today very much for me it was refreshing about mitologii and that I can explain small one how it was before how clever the was then about Romans etc so we give 5 stars we liked

This is a very ancient site of historical importance across about 5,000 years. Only snag is that once the world turned Christian, its destruction was ordered and there is not much left standing now. That was made up for by an excellent small museum on site showing really beautiful objects with dates in the past that simply amaze you. As a pensioner, the entrance fee is laughably small, but for an adult it is still very cheap, as all archaeological sites seem to be in Cyprus. Well worth a visit and a few small Tavernas right next to it in the village if you fancy a drink and something to eat.

Great place to visit in a beautiful small village Kuklia. Interesting exhibits, mix of mythological and historical aspects. Very involved and educated staff, it is worth listening to their stories. I’m grateful.
