We visited the restaurant several times during our stay on Cyprus and we were never disappointed. The chef (Dina - she’s from Sri Lanca) offers typical Greek food as well as Sri Lancian. For the Sri lancian orders she needs to have a notice in Advance (2 days). And trust us, this food is made with love and passion from her home country. Finger licking good experience like your mama is cooking for you. There is no typical menu as you know - it’s like in Thailand or somewhere else, where is actually no menu shown. She is very transparent with the food she can serve. The prices are under the normal rate as you find here in Cyprus but the quality is superb. The view on the lake is awesome compared to the little sweet location. She cooks very fresh every day. If people make a pre order and some food is left from them (like Sri lancian rice or beans) she is offering it to other guests on the same day. Typical Greek food is always prepared fresh and does not need a pre order. We enjoyed the view as well as the food a lot!

Beautiful and friendly taverna. Food fresh homemade and delicious. Desserts outstanding. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Cant wait for our next holiday in october, so we can come back here. Thank you Dory, Claire and Charlie.

Where to start?Just don´t go! I have been charged a ridiculous price for pork chop, btw the only meal she had. Price were different to the menu (I found out later) & she said that the menu was not up to date?! What a bad experience!! Location is also not worth going, not well maintained.

A very sweet local restaurant. There is no menu and the owner cooks a traditional dish/food she has available which was very tasty! Beautiful few of the sunset and very affordable, food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for 7 people was €130! Would recommend for a traditional and beautiful dinner out with a view.

I found this place in Google Maps by looking for the near tavernas. We got there and found empty restaurant with the owner sitting outside. We decided to stay and didn't regret. The views are great and Maya cooked us really nice meal right away. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Staying in a nearby villa and googled doe tavernas close by. This one popped up. Went along to try it and we are so glad we did. Dina is so welcoming - you get a very real Cypriot experience. The home cooking is fabulous, the setting next to the lake is beautiful and the relaxed and authentic setting is just a wonderful experience. Eating your meal you ca. hear Dina’s mountain goats littering about in the field nearby and their bell on their neck ringing. It was just fabulous. No menus, Dina just tells you what she has in and it’s all served with traditional sides and salads. Drinks range is great. Loved it so much, we are making a return visit. Excellent value for money. Lovely views over the reservoir and a nice setting. Reasonably priced lunch menu. Very friendly service although we had a long wait for food to arrive (which the owner had told us).

I’ve never written a review on here however this one definitely deserved it. Off the beaten track is a beautiful situated taverna. The sweetest lady, Dina served us up the best ever lunch. Fresh fruit and veg from their own garden. Perfect meat chips and salad.

I'd say probably the best chicken souvlaki on the island (I doubt it, I hear you saying... haha, well have a little visit to find out!). Great location, with stunning views on a nice day (why not walk over to the Water Tower on the other side of the Evretou Dam). The decor is very traditional and well kept, the staff are very friendly and accomodating and the food is absolutely gorgeous. I was with a group of 9, all having different foods, and there wasn't one complaint! Great little stop if you're looking to explore this area.

Amazing hidden gem, you can book if you call up but also we turned up and the Sri Lankan owner was very accommodating. Food is done in a homely sense, so what have they on the day is available but it is amazing. The view is to die for and one of the highlights.

Stayed there for three nights in October. The views from the room are beautiful! You can see the starry sky at night and Evretou dam during the day. Food is very good, even though the choices are limited. The lady in charge of the place is very polite and helpful!

Astounding service, very kind people and relax You really feel free as your home there cause they are friendly and social, also we got some fresh eggs for the breakfast and some coffee, experience was really amazing, and I’m gonna do it again cause they have more places to stay. The place is very charming, the only difficulty is the distance from the city, but if you would go to relax for three or more nights, I would recommend, in anyway I really do recommend it

Nice little taverna with a beautiful view of Evretou dam. We will come here again when the weather is nicer :)

Wow! Tucked away just off the main Polis to Paphos road overlooking the Evretou Dam. This quiet unassuming place offers a very basic choice - basically take it or leave it! We were offered pork chop, chips and salad but it was delicious - the best chips on the island and a juicy chop with plentiful and varied salad. You won’t find it advertised anywhere and it looks closed but walk in and you will get a wonderful surprise. There are also apartments to rent with huge windows overlooking the magnificent view.

We came in to check if the restaurant was open, since the outside looked closed. The lady in charge said its open, we could order either chicken or pork. It was surprisingly very good! The place could use a bit of love and care, if it was more tidy and clean for the children playground it would of been perfect all together. Excellent food !

At first, it looked like a nice place and reviews were mostly positive as well. When we arrived, we were met by a nice lady, however she had difficulties explaining their menu, not mentioning that there is no printed menu or prices. It might have been a rare occasion but we were really disappointed and drove away.
