Omg the rooms clean and large. The staff incredible and so accommodating. Everywhere clean specially the pool. Food and choice of food was lush. Too much to choose from. The setting and view of the beach stunning. I'm going again I October can't wait 🤗

Booked via jet2 holiday. Highly recommended although this is not a 5 stars hotel. However, the facility and staff are certainly 5 stars level. Truly appreciate reviews left by others. We used these information including convenient bus to the city center. It's really a great hotel for reasonable cost. Room with privacy and no noise. Living room and bedroom sufficient to fit a family for 4. We had a boy 14 yrs no problem.

Spent five nights here due to our holiday being cancelled last minute. Lovely holiday village. Rooms are situated in blocks dotted on the premises. Our room was next to the snack area/ bar, across from a games area. The room was good, it came with AC, hairdryer, mini bar. The room had three single beds!! Should have had a double. The AC was good, the mini bar was not stocked and when I mentioned this it was stocked with water only💁‍♂️. It needed a bit of attention, decor wise. The facilities were good, plenty of poolside beds, main pool, water polo pool and a toddlers pool. The main restaurant does three sittings a day as well as a snack area. All close to the pool. Poolside bar opens from ten am until 1 am the next day🥂🍺quality. There is also a gym and an indoor pool. There are activities throughout the day, provided by entertainment staff and a kids club. There is a bit of a walk to the nearest bars, restaurants if you want a change, or a five minute taxi ride. Paphos harbour, 15 minutes away by taxi, costs 15 Euro, well worth it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Kat at reception, Alexandria and Yiannis in the restaurant, Stefania and Anna in the bar and George in the snack area , to mention a few, but all the staff were really good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, pity it was short. It is a family orientated hotel, so if you are looking for a quiet time, it may not be the place for you. Have a look, it's definitely worth considering.

Food really good rooms basic but functional maid service daily Bar staff were terrible they all looked disinterested in good service especially the lounge / reception bar but all in all had a great time with my grand daughter

Nice big rooms, nice size pool and snack area. Reception very good and friendly. Only drawback sandy beach is a walk and very small. Easy to get around on the bus.

We genuinely loved our week holiday here. Rooms were spacious and very well kept. We paid the extra for a sea view & terrace/balcony. It was well worth it. The swimming pools are absolutely amazing. With kids pool, volley ball pool and a massive family pool to add. Plenty of sunbeds for all, Two outdoor showers and pool bar which serve bar snacks also. Okay, there isn't a large beach nearby, but it makes up for it in so many other ways. 10 minute bus ride ( €1.50 or €5.00 for a day ticket) which will take you to Coral Bay which is stunning. (€7.50 for two sunbeds & parasol) Lunch and evening meals are good offering a good selection for all tastes. Hot food could be hotter, buts that's my personal opinion. We will definitely return here next year hopefully.

Rooms ok, more than adequate for your stay, a little dated tho. Didn't like lugging my suitcase up the stairs. All staff very accommodating, breakfast OK, dinner and evening meals really good. It is in the middle of nowhere really and looks like it needs a bit of TLC in places. Managed to watch the sunset which was lovely.

Absolutely stunning hotel with amazing facilities. Staff that are very pleasant and go over and above to keep guests happy. Lovely atmosphere and the food (different theme every night) was delicious. There was a great variety of evening entertainment. Short bus ride from the top of the road to get to other places. We will definitely be returning ☀️🥰

Lovely pool, brilliant staff and a nice view. A little bit out of the way 10 mins from paphos in a taxi and about the same to the nearest good beach.

I have given high marks but there were some drawbacks my apartment overlooked the pool and had views of the sea the drawback was the noise from the entertainment way too high the other bone of contention the meals excellent choice unfortunately on a weekly cycle after ten days boredom set in all other aspects of the hotel were good. The staff were very helpful and curious. Sub note we did have the use of a hire car which I believe is vital.👴

Great hotel, got a little over busy during half term week, probably better suited to a family holiday rather than a couples getaway. If you go with the all-inclusive option, all meals are buffet style, but the quality of food was great. My only criticism would be that the drinks from the pool bar weren't the best, but other than that, everything was excellent.

First of all I would like to start with the hotel staff, at the reception they were sensitive, professional and willing to help in everything, the bartenders were friendly and very pleasant. The rooms were comfortable, cleaning services every day and a balcony for each room. The dining room had a rich selection and every day a different theme. The pools are large and there is space. The hotel itself is far (10 minute drive) from attractions but there are buses and taxis all the time so it's nonsense. Totally recommend. And I want to personally say thanks to Olga, for her concern and help in everything we needed. Highly recommend ❤️

Has the potential to be a great hotel, however, it’s lacking in some areas. The rooms are nice, simple and clean but the beds are really uncomfortable. Woke up with a stiff neck every morning. The pool area / main pool is very nice and warm. The food is nice, can’t complain. Nice variety and they cater to allergies which is amazing. Drinks are substandard. Most disappointing part of the stay was the incessant barrage of children’s songs, every night. Felt like I was trapped in a never ending preschool singalong. Great if you have kids, not really suited to a couple looking for a relaxing holiday. Still had good overall experience.

Lovely gardens well kept. Made the experience loads better than a hotel due to smaller buildings. Staff were 10/10 very helpful and friendly. Food was 9/10 mostly great desserts hit and miss at times. Location 9/10 fabulous sea view but about 10 minute drive to Paphos town centre (get the bus instead of taxi lots cheaper). Spa was 10/10 for price and service. Would definitely visit again.

Punhes well above the Star rating. Food was so much choice for any appetite & cooking to perfection. Staff also very friendly & welcoming. We met a lot of lovely guests, also really friendly. I don't write many reviews about Hotel's abroad but I have no reason to complain about this place at all, near perfect for what you pay. If you're a 5 star+ person & think your a special person then don't go. If you're a normal down to earth person get yourself booked in. Faultless in my opinion ( pool is cold) though! No big deal.

We had a great stay, staff were amazing from entertaining kids in day and cocktails in evening. Rooms cleaned on daily basis with fresh towels. Had late flight going back and given room for hour to freshen up before departing at no extra charge.plenty of food choice. Great retreat to recharge

Lovely holiday village, friendly staff, plenty of variety with food and drink. Clean and comfortable rooms, and air con was a godsend! Went at the end of September and the weather was glorious. Different menu each night. Would definitely stay here again.

Entertainers were brilliant, always working hard and giving everyone something to do, outside bar staff good too, inside a little bit slow 1 person serving drinks too a whole room of people yet waiters and waitresses no help, they are good at taking plates and drinks but only choose who too get drinks for. Food is pretty basic unless you get a lucky day for food, breakfast same as everywhere. Room service good make your bed resupply when you want, tea making facilities there but to no tea bags/coffee. Tennis court, ping pong table but no equipment to borrow. Not based on rating but Overall good holiday, not much local, need to get a taxi most places, apart from a 10-20 minute walk to a couple of restaurants and a golf/footgolf place.

Stayed 2 nights in this place, booked via booking.com - very nice pool, breakfast, clean room (and settled us quickly), and the overall service. In short, very satisfied. Thank you for a great weekend! P.S. I requested a baby crib, thinking they'll surely forget about it and I should re-request it at the reception (like it's done in many places, especially during busy weekends), but I was pleasantly surprised when a very nice one was already there upon arrival

(Pros) Staff - Staff were all very welcoming, friendly & helpful Food - a good variety of food (buffet style) in main restaurant. Also a snack bar which is also very good. Pool - nice large pool with a good view of the sea, also has some activities during the day such as waterpolo & water aerobics. Room - Room is spacious, bright & clean. Gets tended to daily for cleaning. Room was on ground floor so easy access to pool as directly opposite Entertainment - there's entertainment on a daily basis, I specifically enjoyed the comedy show most! I highly recommend!! (Cons) Rooms - walls seem to be thin as could hear footsteps and chairs moving from flat above. If your room is by the pool, your patio area could get used by others while your out so best to put your towels on the chairs. Food - Stay clear of fish as not always cooked properly. Unfortunately had food poisoning due to it. Pool - there was dirt or something resembling dirt on the pool floor by the wall. Market Shop - Hotel shop can be expensive, best to go to supermarket which is 10 min walk away. Overall really enjoyed my stay and I would definitely go again.

We loved this place. Rooms are clean and housekeeping service is great. Fresh towels and toilet roll nearly every day. Food is amazing, so much variety and really tasty. Bar service and front desk team are very good and helpful. Amazing outdoor pool, really warm once youre in, even in April. The only thing I would say is, we went as a couple, so the kids 30 min disco night was nearly every night and was a bit grating sometimes. But you can be smart about it - we had drinks at the bar until 8.15pm, then went for dinner so we missed the 30 mins of kids songs. Great location, beautiful views, can't fault it really. Would come back again definitely 👍

Had booked self-catering... apartments are definitely not equipped for self catering purposes, I.e. only tea/coffee making facilities and a very small (counter-top size) fridge. We were upgraded to bed and breakfast by the hotel which was a nice gesture. Grounds are well maintained. Four swimming pools - big swimming pool, volley ball swimming pool, a kids swimming pool and an indoor pool. Whilst beds were made and towels changed when we asked for house-keeping, the floors were not cleaned (swept or washed).

Hotel was lovely! Our room was also upgraded from a studio to apartment without us knowing. However… I fractured my elbow by falling on the bathroom floor. I will admit I had drank, but on the first night I said how dangerous that bathroom could be due to no shower or floor mat. We had been putting the towels on the floor but must not have that night and I slipped. Also saw the maid wipe the toilet bowl with our dirty towel.. yes it’s going to be cleaned but if they do that with everyone’s then you wipe your face, was very confused by that. Food was okay, we ate every meal but definitely wasn’t excited for meal times. Staff were so lovely and helpful. It was my partners birthday over there and they gave him a bottle of champagne and a bowl of fruit and a note saying happy birthday from the team. We really appreciated this.

We had two rooms both with a sea view and they were spacious air con was great and they were cleaned every day. Could not fault the cleaning staff. Reception were really helpful and arranged a late check out for us. The waiting and bar staff were all lovely and so hard working. Could not fault the food there was something everyday for everyone. The entertainers were great, didn’t stop all day. Would return here no problem

Loved this hotel! The staff and entertainers were lovely! The food was amazing! The only downside was the beds are a bit hard but got used to it after the first night. Pool was always clean and fresh and close to a nice beach to snorkel. We will definitely be returning 😄

The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing, however it lacks attentive cleaning and the basics that could be easily sorted with some changes to process. Cleaners have not visited our rooms at all since arriving and when asking for an extra blanket, we were told they had run out (despite asking twice during the day and being told they would be delivered to us). I also made a complaint as the spa staff found it acceptable to scream and shout at the children in our group; my complaint was not taken seriously and I find it intolerable that a member of staff will take it upon themselves to speak to minors in that way. Some education in workplace behaviours rather than spending the duration of a shift smoking outside the therapy rooms would go a long way.... unfortunately resulting to online reviews as a good old conversation to give feedback to reception appears to fall on deaf ears...

We returned here this year for a week of doing nothing but relaxing . This is certainly the right Hotel to do that in ! Great , friendly staff are a bonus . The Hotel has a layout that really does make it feel like a Village , rather than a Complex . The rooms are of a good size and are very well looked after . Don't worry if you don't get a room with a sea view - the ones in the garden are just as good . The view of the Sunset is outstanding . It becomes something of a habit to just stop what you are doing ( nothing ) and just quietly watch the Sunset for half an hour . We think that the Akteon is good value for money and well worth a visit . We will be returning next year and expect the same high standards to still be in place .

The only thing I can fault with this hotel is there's no disability toilet anywhere and my son was struggling so was confined a lot to his room as it was hard to get a mobility scooter up and down the lift . We've just had 9 nights here though and loved it food excellent people excellent cleanliness excellent . Staff very helpful . Pools clean maybe could do with a cover over baby pool as shade . This is a place to relax and chill out not to party . You have to get a bus if you want to sight see. I would have given a 5* if they had disabled toilet on a ground wheelchair access

Lovely place ,however we are freezing ,it was the coldest weekend for many years, and our air con is belting out cold air ,!!! Never been so cold at night since I was a youngster and slept on floors and various other places ,it's like being in a tent up Ben Nevis ,been to reception and told them and got the usual surprised look and oh dears and we will send an "engineer " we will see rep shortly and see what they say ,we are going to sleep in the main reception with our blankets tonight if not sorted today

Me and my wife stayed here for our honeymoon in April on an all inclusive basis and had a fantastic time. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. We had a sea view room with a balcony on the first floor which was basic but spotlessly clean. The food was good quality and varied each day. The pool was big and clean with plenty of sun-beds to relax on. The only downside was the sheer amount of disposable plastic cups that were used, why not use reusable plastic around the pool area? Overall we were very pleased with our stay and will definitely be returning!

  • 2/5 Celia Y. 1 year ago on Google
Food always cold, electric tripping constantly, ok if looking to just stay by the pool.. Ended up not taking advantage of our all inclusive package & ate out throughout our stay

We spent three days here. But mostly, let the pictures speak for themselves. The room was not cleaned, it overlooked a dirty courtyard. The room smelled of musty mouldy air. Plaster was falling off, the table outside was sticky with dirt. You find rooms like this in ** hotels. The pool and everything else was nice. The sea is 1 km away. Breakfast was tolerable, but definitely not ****. I would not recommend it to anyone. Just look at the pictures.
