I hate to do this. I don’t know if our experience would have been different had we sat and ate there… our takeout experience was the worst we’ve ever had. They gave our order to someone else (it happens, we are reasonable and patient people so we waited in our car with our young son for our order to be remade) when we got our food and returned home we got a not so pleasant surprise: all of our burgers were extremely rare 🤢 I wouldn’t be writing this review if it wasn’t for the fact that my sons kids meal was charred raw meat. Friends, please cut open your burgers, please investigate your food from this place. Something was very off tonight and I am hoping it was an isolated incident. I don’t want anyone eating here and getting sick.

Wanted to try this place for a while and finally got around to it. My wife had the charred salad, a green leaf salad with a charred burger patty on the top. She enjoyed it a lot. I got the Carolina BBQ burger. Charred cheese burger with Carolina-styled BBQ sauce, Cole slaw, onion strings and bacon. I liked it a lot. The onion rings were very good freshly made and quite tasty. For dessert we ordered the bacon croissant sundae. If you like a sweet-salty dessert combo then this should please you. We found the food good, but as one other reviewer noted the portions tend to the smaller size. For instance, our "share" sized onion rings side order looked like what I expect for a single serving. The burgers fit easily on your standard sized hamburger buns. Not necessarily a negative, just an observation. I was a little disappointed in the sundae. It was good, but I missed a more chocolate experience that my taste buds expected, like the chocolate covered bacon we have experienced before at other places. It was good, just nothing I expect to crave in the future. Our one downside on this visit was our server. Don't know if he was having an off night or this is just his style, but it did not seem indicative of the other servers. The person delivering our food smiled, talked to us, offered refills, etc. Our server never introduced himself, explained the menu and expected our dining experience was complete as our plates neared empty and he delivered the check. We still wanted a dessert. Did not thank us for coming in,, either. Off day for him? I was trained in restaurants from a teen so I expect a minimum level of waiter-customer interaction. Will come again to see how it goes.

This place has been on my list for quite a while now just never went until today and it was worth it. The staff was ultra friendly and inviting and the atmosphere was great. The menu is simple and to the point with beef, chicken and vegetarian options. The wagyu burger was fresh, seasoned to perfection and packed with flavor. The bone in wings were piping hot and crispy and to die for! The kids had chicken bites that were delicious and came with either grapes or fries and a cookie at the end. We ended with a cinnamon sugar croissant with vanilla bean ice cream topped with caramel and bacon pieces!! Definitely recommend trying this place out.

The food here is simply amazing, the fried cheesy pickles are delicious, I also had the jalapeño popper burger, and it was perfect. The staff was awesome and friendly, also very helpful as this was my first visit. I will definitely be coming back to try all the other burgers!

I enjoyed the flavor of the fresh ground beef and toppings. The burger was cooked with their namesake "char" on the outside. Delicious! I ordered my burger with beer cheese sauce, onion straws, mushrooms, tomato, lettuce and pickles. I had the tasty fried cheese curds for a side dish. It's one of Omaha best burgers. Expect to pay a premium.price for a delicious premium burger. 🍔

We really enjoyed eating here. The burgers and lemonades were delicious! They have a really nice patio area that we sat at. And the kids liked the cookies that came with the kids meals.

Been here a few times. Sat at the bar each time. The fella at the bar was quick and friendly, and even recognized and greeted me the second time! Had the Fungi burger the first time, and one with bacon the second time. Both were very juicy and perfectly cooked, but the bacon one was way way salty... not sure if it was the bacon or the patty got double salted or what. The fries have herbs and truffle oil on them, which isn't always my favorite, but they work here with the rest of the meal. The onion rings are good as well! The beer selection is wide but shallow. It suffers from the "3 Coldnyellows and one each of the other types" thing... Each choice has that feeling of being placed there by a distributor, not by an avid bartender. Think Old Chicago, but way fewer choices. Nothing exotic, nothing you can't get down the road... just beers that fit into slots.

Unique Burger Bar! Was sat quickly, Annabelle brought our drinks and food super fast! Ordered their homemade cherry vodka lemonade, was very refreshing! Loved that it comes in a closed Mason jar, Shake it gently & enjoy. Appetizer: avocado fries was yummy. Charred burger on a gluten-free bun(extra cost) was so tasty, full of flavor! A must try for gluten-free, tasty food, refreshing drinks! *Just had another visit and was fantastic! Best burger and cherry lemonade ever!

Stop here if you are looking for a delicious de$$igner burger, a wide selection of adult beverages, and very good service. My wife and I visited this past week and can confirm the super tasty Wagyu burgers that are about 0.3 pounds post-cooked to your requested doneness and are tucked within a large Brioche bun. The onion ring side was very good, but I did not enjoy the added herbs on the thin fries. Our overall cost with a tip and without drinks was north of $30. Patio space is available when the weather permits.

Really good burgers and onion rings. The fries are also good. Strawberry vodka lemonade caused a bit of humming. (Yum) the dipping sauce is great. Table service was adequate but not great. We did put this place on our return list.

2/4/2023 Stopped in for a cheeseburger and onion rings with my son and granddaughter. The wait to be seated was about 30 minutes, the wait to order was another 5 - 10 minutes. The waitress was nice, the food was good, but a bit on the pricey side. Four stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

We came in when some guy was being a jerk to the workers about the restaurant closing soon (bc I’ll dare they have normal closing hours.) They handled it very professionally though and were happy to help us. The burger is one of the best I’ve ever had. Reminds me of smash burger but better. Your workers are awesome. We will be back!

Love the lemonade vodka drinks here----served in a Mason jar. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are so tasty. Everything is hot a d fresh. Also enjoy the onion rings, fries and salads. Great casual spot with great food. If you're a fan of garlic, try the garlic aoli for dipping fries.

A really great burger. Sides were also excellent. The onion vinaigrette for my salad was very tasty. Service was top notch. Drinks were refilled promptly and even an offer of soda to go. Will be back!

Burgers have a special place in my heart. And my stomach. Somehow - they're the only type of food I ever actually seem to crave. As a result - I do consider my mouth to be somewhat of a burger expert. That being said - I also love French fries. Who doesn't? (If you don't, you should probably seek help...) My most recent visit to Charred left me feeling full and satisfied. My burger was cooked perfectly, loaded up on a tasty bun, and the patty was fresh, great quality, and just the right size. As far as a good, all-around burger - you can't go wrong with Charred. My only complaint, is that while the burger was very good - it didn't quite give the "shock and awe" I was hoping for. I felt it was just somewhat lacking. But that's okay! I'd rather it be done right and taste good, than overdone and come out wrong. But now let me tell you about THE FRIES. We ordered the Haystack - and we did not leave any of the Haystack for our amazing server to take away. No fry left behind. These little golden delights are the perfect size, adequately salted, with the perfect balance of crispy and fluffy on the inside. The beer cheese over the top was phenomenal (can I get a glass full next time?), and honestly, thinking about this dish makes me want to go back right now. Last but not least - the Vodka Lemonades that seem to be a specialty in the Charred establishments are delicious. Loads of real fruit, delicious house made lemonade, my only complaint is the fact my straw wasn't big enough to slurp down all the vodka infused fruit chunks. Make sure when you visit, you order a few.

The staff has always been very nice! The burgers have definitely gotten thinner and smaller. Their food is good over all but their burgers definitely changed. Not saying this because I'm a fatty but only because that's what made their burgers really good.
