An incredible resort that provides transportation to and from the airport. There are consistently delicious meals, full support for scuba diving, an amazing house reef (to snorkel or scuba), a warm saltwater pool, lots of hikes and activities, and the most amazing staff! The rooms are air conditioned with plenty of space. While the WiFi is only in the main area, it's good to unwind in one's room at the end of the day. One can also find all sorts of critters throughout, but be sure to bring bug spray! Highly recommend spending time here to see more of Milne Bay.

Always looking forward for an experience of a lifetime. The marine life's best at it's own habitat, or simply basking in the sun wiith your dearest at heart or simply having a timeout with the kids in the pool, topping it off with watching the sunset with that special someone. Always looking forward.

As a Papua New Guinean. I am proud to have experienced a very tranquil, serene, natural resort such as Tawali Resort right here in my country. The nature both on land and sea is spectacular.

Tawali Resort is one of PNG's amazing dive resorts! Enthusiastic and professional divers won't be disappointed with the beautiful marine environment! Hikers also have the chance to visit amazing sites in the nearby areas. Lovely rooms and friendly staff!

It was so lovely, neat retreat with many activities and big property. We enjoyed our final days in PNG here. It is very pricey tho, but probably worth it

Tawali Resort is a beautiful resort and a home away from home. A perfect hideout for you and family. Enjoy friendly staff and hospitality here in Tawali. The place is unique with the settings on the reef rocks and inside tropical forest. The rooms are big and have enough space for a typical family or group to stay. There are plenty of reef fishes never seen before and beautiful coastal reefs

A great place to stay. Big and well appointed rooms with air conditioning. Very peaceful and quiet. The diving was really amazing. The staff were really helpful and kind. There are other more remote places to stay in Milne Bay too, so if you are considering coming to Alotau to stay at Tawali then also think about adding on a few extra days at other places around the Province, including Ulumani Treetop Lodge and Nuli Sapi.

If you are thinking of a quiet hideaway with beautiful scenery, scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking (free) or simply exploring to see the skull caves and waterfalls, Tawali resort is the place to be. Met Sir Michael Bromley (the owner) whilst I was there and he was kind enough to invite my friend and I for a boat trip with his family. It was the best! Enjoyed every minute of it! A day well spent! Thank you.

Nice resort and great staff. Price quality is good for the rooms. Diving and food bit on the expensive side. Pity that you hardly notice to be in PNG and the resort could be anywhere on this planet. The food is ok but there is nothing local on the menu. The local PNG kitchen has a lot to offer and can be fantastic so why not cook some local food instead and by more food from the people who live around the resort. Then they also benefit from it. Now almost everything is imported.

Fantastic place in paradise. Since we traveled there in off season, we were the only ones there, so keep that one in mind. Nevertheless, they spoiled us. And with spoiled I mean they went all in. Chef made the most fantastic seafood-meals and also offered allergy-friendly options additionally. The staff was really looking out for us, giving us a constant feeling of safety. Also when leaving the resort for some activities. Since we’re no scuba divers, we β€œonly” snorkeled around the reefs of the resort. Tbh, we have never seen such beautiful reefs and variety of colorful and beautiful fish. Well worth it.
