Great service, the food was good. I think we'd choose our own adventure next time rather than doing the 'experience me' package.

Restaurant beside Hilton that offers some great food that's reasonably priced. Despite its name, their mumu dishes are not the best. The pork belly and fish were a little dry. I would recommend their lobster and their pickled pitpit appetizer, both of which were delicious. For a drink, their alcoholic ginger beer is great and for dessert, their Mumu rocks which are essentially ice cream within a chocolate encasing. It is an outdoor dining space, so be sure to wear mosquito repellent before attending. It may also be a little hot as one of their fans was not working when we visited

It’s awesome to see such an incredible difference at Mumu in the last year. My fiancé and I were here in 2019 and the only thing I can remember was stunning venue and a painfully large amount of food. Thankfully someone has invested in wanting to create an culinary experience that matches the gorgeous environment. We’ve now been a number of times and have eaten from the larger share menu with friends - exceptional, the tasting menu - wonderful and now two of the monthly Executive Chef degustation menus which were truly incredible. We are thrilled to have found the high caliber of dinning experience parallel to any of our 5 star dining experiences from across the globe. The service is Outstanding and we look forward to returning time and time again. Thank you team, you should be proud of the environment, service and quality of food you are providing.

Exceptional Customer Service and friendly staff, service with a smile in the true PNG way. Meals where beautifully presented and delicious. The Winner for the night was the Tuna in seasme seeds, served with watermelon and cucumber, delicious tasty fishy yet sweet flavours. Love the food, the service and the setting and the interior design and choice of wood used, palm tree and colors that transports you into a tropical setting in the heart of Port Moresby.

We dined at Mumu twice on our recent trip to Port Moresby, and both times left more than satisfied. On the first occasion we opted for the chef's selection for two people - we were ecstatic when a third person stopped by because the food was way too much for two people. On the second occasion I stuck with the lamb shoulder - definitely the highlight of the entire restaurant. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure we were okay, which was quite a feat given how spread out the restaurant is and the impromptu rain storm we experienced on our second night - since the pathways aren't covered, it is quite a trek between the small cabins for dinner. Overall, the experience was great - kudos to the team.

Mumu is a fantastic addition to Port Moresby’s restaurant circuit! Renée and I had a beautiful night out. Excellent service. Beautiful ambiance. Fantastic food. If anything the portions were too big! Loved every minute.

Went out with good friends and felt extremely discriminated. The Chef refused to prepare an ala cart order instead of the house special. This was never informed before hand. When asked for the reason, the chef came up with some stupid excuse. We notified the manager and he finally allowed the order. We eventually walked out solely because that other customers had no issues being served ala cart orders. Also realized that we were on purposely sat on a horrible seats when better seats were available. We were well dressed and are able to pay customers. NEVER coming again and will not recommend this place to anyone..

Wow, this really exceeded expectations. The atmosphere is relaxing, sleek, and warm. The service was top notch without ostentation. And most importantly the food was great...some of the best lamb and tuna preparations I've had. I'm not not too familiar with Melanesian cooking but there were clearly some interesting ingredient and spice pairings happening. The mumu prix fixe options present a good value, especially compared to a la carte dining in the hotel overall. The 4 dish option was more than enough food. Be VERY hungry if you go for the 8.

Foods good. Atmosphere great! Bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for and it's definitely worth treating yourself if you want to treat yourself for a night out.

Absolutely disappointed with the service of mumu, me and my friends was suppose to have a lovely dinner. But the waiter come up to us and rejects our order because the chef doesn't want to cook it Due to we are ordering different dishes & the chef. We felt offended. By the way, the table near us , they allowed to order whatever on the menu.

As somebody who has a lot of connection and experience to Papua New Guinea, I can honestly say that Mumu was the best dining experience I’ve had in this country. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious and the interior design was very high quality. Would highly recommend Mumu to anyone.

We had a delicious meal of lobster etc at Mumu tonight celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary. We had fresh flowers and candles on our table, a complimentary glass of bubbles and a delicious desert. We felt very spoilt -thank you to the team for making our evening even more special.

8 dishes of the normal food we usually have in our homes that were cooked differently. The dessert was a mystery and came out perfecto. They have small housewinds connected with a bridge over a shallow water. I would love to go there again
