My fiancΓ© and I had a magical 8 days at Tufi resort. All the staff made our stay incredibly special with their special attention to detail be it flowers on our lunch tables through to offering couples dinners in special locations where possible. The management Thomas and Jana were engaging and really dedicated ensuring we had a magical experience, they even arranged a beautiful sunset fjord cruise for my fiancé’s birthday when I wanted to do something extra special. I was also new to diving and the dive team provided a safe, comfortable and friendly environment for my first 9 dives - which were absolutely incredible. We completed 6 fjord dives due to being there in the windy season, and 3 outer reefs. All unique and leaving us in awe after every dive (my fiancΓ© is an advanced diver and he also said these were outstanding dive sites). Thank you once again to the awesome team and we can not wait to return and experience the beauty of the area and the wonderful people who helped to make our stay so special!

The Tufi resort team is amazing. They will make your trip to this beautiful and unique part of PNG unforgettable. For such a disconnected part of the country Yana and Thomas and their team are able to give you a 5star experience. It is very much a water activity resort. You need to be willing to get out onto the water either in the fjords or out on the open ocean. The fjord afternoon cruise is amazing and a must while you are there. The food is a mix of local and foreign flavours with ingredients sourced from the local villages and flown into the resort. I would highly recommend taking a trip here if you are lucky enough to be able to.

Stands to serve as a good tourist destination, surrounded by majestic views of the fjord, mountains and natural landscapes. Nice bugalows for families and group conferences. Diving, snorkeling, kayaking, birdwatching and bushwalking. Meet the friendly locals to purchase souvenirs. You will enjoy your time. Two flights weekly. Mondays and Fridays. Dont miss a weekend gateway to reset your mind and chill..

All the staff are amazing and beautiful people. Managers welcomed us warmly and have fantastic visions for running this place. The place is clean and beautiful with amazing views. I thought the food was fabulous. The only downside was I honestly felt the PNG staff were made to feel they are below us as people. I look at them as Hospitality Staff who are amazing kind & friendly and are fantastic at their jobs. Thanks all for an amazing stay.

Tufi Resort is beautiful. Staff of Tufi Resort are very nice people we came across. The scenery is amazing. Tufi locals are peaceful and caring people. You have no problem walking around the villages and visit local markets. You can buy gifts from the arts and craft market front of the Resort. Security at Tufi is not a problem. Hope you enjoy your holidays and stay in Beautiful Tufi.

Been all around the world and Tufi resort is still my favorite trip. The location is amazing, activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving were a great experience, if you're here check out cyclone reef it's quite the spectacle to behold. Their food is very nice, the staff are great and they've got some cool animals on site such as Papuan Hornbills and tree kangaroos, which if you're lucky will climb onto your balcony, making for some great wildlife encounters that you probably won't find anywhere else. Rooms are nothing special but they're comfortable, respectable, and clean, and the rooms aren't why you come here, it's for a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else. Outside of the resort, I met some very friendly locals who I played a good game of rugby with. Tufi is definitely an expensive trip but if you can afford it it's well worth it for an experience you won't forget.

Tufi Resort have a great set up on the side of the cliff, over looking it's bay, beautiful view. A great place for holiday makers. Unfortunately it does not have too much of a luxury. Most activities are involving the sea. History: The original name of this resort was called Laki Hotel, when first built in the late 70s. The Dive Resort now is the 4th owner. Tufi in the 80s and 90s was a beautiful little town of it's own, it had all government services available. But as the government systems began to transform, Tufi was neglected and forgotten as it is now. Thankyou all for making great and beautiful comments on your experiences of this place, as this place is where I originate from.

Tufi Resort is a beautil resort tucked away in edge of the peaceful Tufi Station. It has wonderful facilities and super friendly staff. Tufi Resort was formerly a dive resort, it still has awesome diving facilities and services but it also has a wide range of organised activities from Fjord Cruise, to snorkeling, visit to the waterfall, village tours, picnics, fishing tours and lots more. With all of this activities including a lots of toys and games for the kids, the Resort is now a really good family holiday resort. We spent 5 days at the hotel and 2 at a village guest house all organised by the Resort. My family really enjoyed the stay and hope to visit again some time soon.

Definitely one of the final frontiers for amazing scuba diving. Pretty well the best muck diving in the world!! Amazing walls on the outer reefs. Should be on your list! Been diving here several times!

It is the only or if not the most peaceful and friendly places to be in PNG. It is free from any kind lawlessness and the people just give you a friendly smile to say that you are welcome no matter were on earth are you from.

Overall we had a great 10 days here including 5 days of diving, some were once in a lifetime experiences. The coral bommies are amazing the reef fish and pelagics are unreal. Highly recommended. If you want one on one hand service and fancy accommodation, this is not for you.

Just got back from a weekend at Tufi Dive Resort. The location is beautiful, views overlooking the fjord, my favorite. Highlights, kayaking down the fjord and snorkeling, amazing underwater life! Another really good day was the picnic at the beach, the food was delicious, lots of drinks available, white sandy beach and aqua blue water, what more could anyone want! The service was OK (Evelyn stood out to me), the food was good, overall, we all had a really nice stay. My partner and I would definitely go back there!

I went many years ago. The views and the remoteness with all the luxuries needed. Staff were great. Fresh seafood and welcoming feel.

Away from it all, stunningly beautiful, very comfortable rooms with hammock on the verandah, excellent food and great hosts. The kokomo is an added bonus in the bar.

Just spent a glorious 7 nights at Tufi. Diving was wonderful in the fjords and at the outer reefs. Dive crew were fantastic, special thanks to Andrew and Dias. Great food, every day something different and flavours always great - wonderful job ladies in the kitchen. Accommodation was comfortable, clean with a beautiful view of the ocean and fjord. Thank you for being great hosts Roya and Brian. We want to come back again

One of the most scenic places in Papua New Guinea. Fresh air, crystal clear waters and a peaceful environment. The locals are very friendly and most speak English. One of the safest places in the country. Resort rooms are spacious with air conditioning and hot water. Wifi only accessible at the bar and balcony area. Good food and friendly staff.

We had a great time here the staff are very attentive, it is in a remote area of PNG but you are well looked after. The trip was primarily for scuba diving and did not disappoint in any way. The dive staff and boat crew were great to meet and all of our group enjoyed their company. The current manager is doing a great job.
