We stayed here for a total of 6 days and would love to stay here more. This hotel is run with a lot of love and heart. We liked it very much. We would like to mention the choice of great food with vegetables and fruits from their own garden, especially that there was always a small good selection for vegetarians. Also highly recommended are the drinks. We had a small fine room with good facilities as well as a great view of Playa Organes, in which we felt very comfortable. Our stay was rounded off by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff and the hotelier couple. We were well looked after, everything was organised and the recommendations for excursions were always of good quality and targeted to our needs. Based on our Costa Rican experience, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We thank the whole team for the great stay and will miss your adorable cats.

Overpriced for what it is. As others have said, it’s a beautiful view, but for the price, it’s all looks. Lots of ants, bugs, and wasps all around. Could be great for a night for a couple looking for a romantic evening, but wasn’t great for our family. Kind of remote and not much to do from the property. Wi-Fi was lousy. Food was decent, but expensive and, again, kind of limited for family dining (we’re probably not their target audience). We had stayed at Croc’s resort across the bay for the same price with much more luxury, great pool, right on the beach, etc. also, not the hotel’s fault, but we had big hopes of hanging out at Playa Organos, but it was kind of disgusting with how much trash was littered throughout. The whole experience was just not what we had pictured/ expected.

Stunning views! Nice staff. Rooms and linens need some updating and maintenance. We arrived on a weekend, so there was no seating available around the pool. Overall, it was a very nice place and I would go back.

Everything was brill. View from pool, drinks from the pool bar, the room was spacious and clean, sunrise with coffee on the balcony was amazing and the food in the cafe was nice as well. We stayed April 2023

Amazing little resort with great views and exceptional service. Very quiet and romantic. The location is a bit isolated but it’s a matter of taste. I loved every moment there and was on tires when leaving

Loved this place…. The staff was amazing, the included breakfast was excellent & I wish all USA continental breakfasts were this good. Fresh eggs, homemade pancakes, plantains, rice n beans, fresh fruit, smoothies, coffee… etc.

Beautiful view and nice area but highly outdated hotel. The rooms are extremely outdated with front doors that has space under and on top for insects to fly through and the bathroom was not clean with dead insects on the floor etc. However, the staff is really nice and the pool is very nice. The restaurant is extremely expensive - almost Swiss prices! We paid 170USD for a lunch and a dinner of simple dishes and one drink each for 2 people.

Absolutely wonderful location, close to Playa Organo which seems to be the best kept secret in Costa Rica.

Kitty cat hill! The cats are king second to only the guests. The food and view is why you want to go here. I forgot about the pool.. that too. This is a perfect spot to eat, rest and do the bioluminescent and island tour.

Amazing view. Great Wifi. The menu is overpriced. Good gentle people!

Wonderful resort at the top of a really steep and rough road. Very attentive and friendly staff. Beautifully landscaped, lovely pool, daybeds with curtains, Excellent buffet breakfast included. Fresh squeezed juices, eggs, sausage, fried plantain or potatoes, toast, cupcakes, overnight oats which was new to me and very good. The sweetest juiciest pineapple I've ever had and other other fresh fruit. Some cold cereals, granola, liquid yogurts which tasted like they had sodium benzoate in them which I'm sensitive to and burns my mouth, but that's common all over the Caribbean too. Coffee was good and a selection of teas. You could order espresso but it wasn't included in the free breakfast. The evening menu is somewhat limited. The tenderloin steak was quite good, the bacon topped mashed potatoes were excellent. I didn't like the chicken fajitas. There is a spice they use in the fajitas and in the sauteed vegetables that I've never had anywhere else, definitely not in my kitchen and I didn't like it. The chicken for the fajitas was tasteless and tough. The 2 spare ribs were very fatty and slathered in very sweet sauce, so there really wasn't enough meat. The chicken wrap tasted like it was made with mayo rather than sour cream and we didn't like it. We liked the fish fingers and fries. We liked the passionfruit cheesecake, chocolate brownie with tart passionfruit sauce and ice cream was also good. We didn't like the banana "cake" which was more like a solid pudding and served very hot with ice cream. We had a private balcony with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Overall I'd give this hotel 4.5 stars, despite the food issues but I'd like to see a bigger menu and I'd like them to throw out whatever that spice is. It gives the vegetables a nasty aftertaste. The staff were universally helpful and friendly.

Views were spectacular from the rooms, the pool, the restaurant! We saw so many birds and monkeys! The staff were really nice and they were always happy to help! We stayed for 5 nights and it was a truly enjoyable stay. Only down side for longer stays is that the menu is limited. Most of our tours were in the morning so we were back for lunch and dinner everyday, 10 meals at the same restaurant, I guess is a lot of meals so not really a massive downside, everything was reasonably priced. If you are in the area I would definitely stay here!

Beautiful property, views, and luxurious feel. The pool was out favorite. Breakfast was nice. The dirt road there is a little intimidating but were able to make it up the drive our 2 wheel drive vehicle without any problems. The front desk was very helpful on how to book our ferry tickets online and skip that line. Family friendly.

Very nice spot, the view is fantastic, the staff is great. But needs a little upgrade! Don’t go into the room 20!!! We had a nightmare with giants ants. But they were quick to change room!

I stayed at the resort for a week and let me tell you, it was a disaster. Before I write this, I would like to share that Anja was amazing!!! So the hotel charges like a 23% service fee on everything you order, so it is a bit expensive. Seafood Macho down the street is great and cheap. The second day, we went to pay our bill for the previous day, and it was significantly higher. We paid it though. After doing calculations, we realized that we were finessed out of lot of money. We went to the manager, Tomas and he was very rude about it. He told us we were lying. I emailed his wife Anja about it for a resolution, which btw is the most beautiful soul ever. I wish I could’ve met her! Then my friend checked her bank account and there was 2 charges from the hotel. The front guy kept telling us the card machine wasn’t working, but it was. So we were cheated roughly out of almost $200. The tv in the room didn’t work, the AC didn’t work for a whole day, and the shower water was cold. They realized that the front desk manager took our money, charged the card several times, and inconvenienced us with our room so they gave us food and drinks free for the rest of the stay. The server Luis was very rude and disrespectful. When me and my friend ordered food or drinks, he would just stare at us. They (Tomas, Dennis) wouldn’t help us with excursions or anything. It was honestly a nightmare. I’m not sure how they have 5 star reviews. Me and my friend experience was nothing like the reviews. It was awful. I do NOT recommend this property to you if you are a black woman. I recommend living in Montezuma, Santa Teresa or elsewhere.

We had a great stay! We stayed one night and loved the ocean view from our room and shower. There are a few things to know however. Only the bedroom is closed, with AC, so the bathroom gets really warm. There is no WIFI that reaches the room, only in the pool, reception and restaurant area. They have amazing cocktails and lunch available at the pool all day. Otherwise, the breakfast included was delicious; coffee/tea and juice, eggs, sausage, casado, yogurt and granola, fruits, etc. The dinner at the restaurant was also delicious. We asked for a playpen in our reservation which wasn't in our room, so I had to ask for it in person. The staff doesn't speak English, which made some things difficult. The pool is very nice too. The whole resort is very beautifully landscaped, with flowers everywhere. Like most of Costa Rica stays I've been, the beds are super hard. Expresso machine is in the room, with a fridge, so bring your milk if needed.

Gorgeous hotel just off the quiet town of Paquera, high up on the hill so has a fantastic view of the sea! Lovely food and the best cocktails we’ve had in Costa Rica! Also the sea view from the room was incredible!

We ended up in this hotel after an issue with the one we had originally booked. This one was much better. Just the view is priceless. The staff is nice, and the place is quiet. Definitely would go again.

This hotel has the most beautiful views I have ever seen. Each room has a balcony facing the ocean and Tortuga Island. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has delicious and reasonably priced options, and the restaurant has a beautiful view too. The AC works great and the bed/sheets were very comfortable. I wish we had stayed here longer!

Very friendly staff. Awesome views. The hotel is literally built into a rugged hillside. Tons of wildlife, including insects which tend to get in the rooms so be aware of that (keep lights off at night, put towel under the door, etc.) Food and drinks were very good as well although the menu was a bit limited.

👍👍 My GOTO place in Paquera. Friendly people. Wifi. Good food. And they take plastic and give receipts when most other places in Paquera do not.

👍👍 We did the bioluminescence kayaking tour with our two teenagers and it was amazing! Juan was our guide and he taught us about bioluminescence as well as other facts about the area. Along the way we picked up plastic that had been washed into the gulf (rainy season). I appreciated this eco-friendly a...
