I was really excited to try this food place, as I never heard the name before. However, upon arrival to the store and ordering food, my visiting friend couldn't make up his mind of what to order yet. The woman behind the cashier said, "today is saturday, you better order soon because we're going to get busy and you'll have to wait a long time for your food." We're both shocked as she was so pushy. We ended up ordering about 5 different dishes - Mie Kangkung, Tripe Noodle, Fried Wonton, Bakso Abang, and Fried Noodle. The taste didn't hit the right spot on each one of them, it's so weird. They smelled so good, but so bland. The Mie Kangkung supposed to be like gravy, instead of watery soup. I want to give lower rating than 3 stars, but not many places offer Mie Kangkung in their menu, so I'm being nice here. And later one we found out this store was originally the newly-owned Janty Noodle (not original), then when HK plaza closed their food court, they moved here. All in all, super disappointed with the food we got. Nothing hits the taste bud and the cravings that I had for Indonesian food.

Waw ..waw.. that's the best food indonesian in US ....and in California SPECIAL... very authentic indonesian and the service perfect ..hope they have restaurant ...and perfect for people after go to gabazon otw to la .... felling hungry stop by to go or eat there even is in food court they kill all restaurant in La for the taste .. And the end everybody have own taste Hope you all enjoy the food

Food court Indonesian food located inside the Chinese market. Grabbed lunch here with my dad on a Saturday around noon and we got the Batagor, chicken sate, and fried egg noodle (mie goreng). You order at the counter and pay, then either take your food to-go or eat there. There’s a 30 min limit for sitting at the tables. All of the food portions were generous and tasty. They call out your order as it’s ready. The mie goreng was my favorite, as the noodle texture was chewy and there was a strong peppery flavor. The sate comes with your choice of rice cakes or white rice and a container of peanut sauce. The Batagor also comes with a container of peanut sauce and a chili vinegar sauce.

This Indonesian restaurant is really good. Their stir fry noodles and noodle soups are delicious! The portions are big , the noodles are fresh and chewy. I highly recommend this place.

Bakso Gerobak. Add sweet soy sauce, a bit vinegar, and chili will enhance the flavor!

Love it! variety of Indonesian food to try and everything is really good. they have some variety of Indonesian drink to choose from but its not displayed, you have to ask the cashier what they have. The place is located inside the 168 Market, and has a very limited dine-in sitting option. If you want to dine-in, come during non-eating hours and not on weekends.
