Just moved to Long Beach so this is the First time visiting this restaurant and The food is amazing. My go to Columbia dish is Bandeja Campesina. If ever in Long Beach and want a taste of Colombia, you must try El Paisa.

This restaurant surprise me. Because the food was ready is less than 5 minutes. A dish the is so long to serve. But this people made it so fast. The pork was so hard or the meats. I don't recommend this place at all 🤮

Decent food and loud, but good colombian music. The service needs improvement though. They are nice, but not very attentive. They walk right by you, without checking on you. If you don’t mind it. I recommend you to visit this place.

Got the Bandeja Tipica. Delicious! The sauce that came with the empanadas were great on everything because it was just a little spicy, but had great flavor. Also had the Strawberry shake with water, definitely recommend if you like fresh strawberry without milk. Staff was great and very patient with me. Recommend eating at this place.

Excellent spot to eat and comfortable atmosphere. Not a cheap menu, but the food and sauces were really good. The only complaint I have is that the waiter (who was nice BTW) literally stood looking over us (at the end of the table, a foot away) as we were paying the bill and selecting the tip amount. Very awkward and not proper etiquette in my opinion.

Usually I don't write reviews, but this one I can't just let it go, Sat about 3pm discover El Paisa restaurant and I thought, I'm hungry let's give it a try! I'm not going to talk about service because lots of reviews cover that, plus I order to go, waited 25min for my order and there was only one person doing everything, now the food was just sad, I order Picada, no arepa 1/2 Chorizo, hard overcooked pork meat, no tostones, it did had tajadas, chicken and beef, but way to many platano verde cut and fried like tajadas(platano verde is for tostones and patacones not tajadas), greasy papitas amarilla, everything tasted the same and was the same color like it was fried all together in old oil, they packed it in a aluminum container and covered with plastic wrap, went to my car try the yuca and it was Ok crunchy, everything else not good and when I got home 15min later it was worse everything was damp and ají not impressive, that picada was not colombian at all, this restaurant overcharge for non authentic food, told my experience to my sisters and brother that went before and they have worse stories about this place, won't ever go back Me Tumbaron!

As a first time customer I was very disappointed, The menu did not reflect the price... like it was a first class restaurant. The only have one waitress and one cook which it took a long for the food. The food was ok. The bathroom wasn't presentable it all. Very duty. We ended up almost paying $100.00 for two breakfast and a take out.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 7 years and as a restaurateur I've always enjoyed the food and the service, add the fact of Colombian born I know what Colombian food should be!! unfortunately I had a bad experience, for one they no longer list the cost of the food items on the menu so basically they can charge whatever they want you'll never know. Quality of food was not there and my sister bit into an empanada and there was a chicken bone in it I won't go back to this restaurant they've cut corners and it's really unfortunate.. time to move on to another Colombian restaurant

I went to celebrate a friend's birthday and the place had a strange smell. Additionally, we ordered a mojarra (fish) and it was so hard and greasy, it was over-fried that they couldn't even eat it. I also ordered some plantains with hogao and it was salty, with a lot of oil and sharp cuts. I don't recommend the restaurant.

I'm glad to have found this place in LB. Was feeling bummed when El Bambuco closed down. Been there twice. The first time I got the Bandeja Paisa. Good stuff all the way. The second time it was a patacón, a flat, fried plantain shell with stuff on top. I had ordered it with some beef. They messed up a bit and gave it to me chicken. I was short on time so I just ate it; they did offer to fix it but I was short on time. Together with my patacón I got a sweet corn arepa topped with cheese. It was awesome. Parking is in the back of the property besides the laundromat that is next door. Failing that, there's plenty of street parking. The neighborhood looks a little dicey, so lock up your cars and don't leave anything of value there.

This place is AMAZING! The staff are so incredibly kind, the selection is wide, and the portions are astronomically HUGE! Clearly they take pride in their cooking and this is the best Colombian food I’ve had in SoCal.

Nice place to eat authentic Colombian food. Pictures are the empanadas (appetizer), Arroz con mariscos (rice with seafood) and a typical Colombian soda (Colombiana). Service could use some improvement.

Had a great time here! Food was amazing and tasted very authentic. Very good variety of dishes. They had a DJ as well playing very good music and many people got up to dance. The service is slow though. Do not try this place for a quick meal. In my opinion, it was worth the wait, but I hope they improve on that. All staff was very friendly and attentive though.

I really enjoy the music there, the food are pretty expensive, but it’s delicious, I wish they don’t take a lot of time to serve you, but in general it’s super nice. I know the owner who is not a Colombian 100%, half salvadorean half Colombian, but anyways the food is excellent, the juices delicious and they also serve beer, club Colombia, águila. And the Picada is super big and delicious you can order one for 4 people and everyone will be very full…..

They have no customer service. Some of our food was ok but some was just gross! The salmon and nuggets we ordered were under cooked not to mention we had waited about an hour! I also didn't care for the fact that they served a table of 7 a plate at a time!
